Tried to trade in a PlayStation 4 after deleting everything and going through everything the manager decided the disc tray was a little “slow” in putting the disc in and tried to lower the trade value by 50$ told us to clean it and bring it back. Long time loyal customer to this store Bring Sarah and the crew back. I can see why all the negative reviews all of a sudden. Disc tray loads fine and system reads disc and plays so what’s the deal. She Said looks like it’s going out how can you tell it’s going out by looking at it is beyond me. It turns on plays and takes the disc no problems. Went to another store they took it no problem said the disc tray wasn’t an issue. Was also happy to explain that it was probably just dust and they would blow it out and guess what went in fine and took it. Munster used to be great

I wish I could rate this place 0 stars because I have been calling all day and no one has answered my calls, I also was told a pre order would be in a month later after the game came out and now they told my friend, who lives near there, that the game will be delayed by another 2 months! Answer your phone guys and provide better service for your customers

Went and bought a funko, they show a sign for 20 percent off funkos 15 and up. As I was leaving i realized there wasnt anything taken off and I was told maybe, some of them dont get the discount so the lady didnt help in any way to correct the issue, seemed annoyed, and didnt really care.

Very friendly service. I was in and out pretty quickly. They reserved a game for me and it was ready and waiting when I arrived. I had to drive pretty far since this was the only gamestop that had a copy of the game I wanted, so I was glad they held my reservation for at least an hour.

Depending on whos there youll get good service but when I went to trade in a system with less than a hour left before closed and the guy didnt want to do it but I left and went to another gamestop and didnt have any issues with coming before close.

This place has been so kind to me. I love all of the employees and their helpful attitudes. The manager is a sweet guy and knowledgeable about a variety of game/merchandise news. Worth the stop

Black Friday, came in for a PS4 bundle. Overheard there were 2-3 left from employee to customer conversation. Another man was helped before us even though he came in after us... while he was checking out we overheard again he was ‘dipping into the employee hold stash’. We’re next in line and told there are no more left. We should have been helped first and would’ve gotten ‘the last one’ even though I’m now positive there were a couple more stashed in back for employee dibs.

My grandson and I went to gamestop for his 8th birthday. We were not greeted as we walked in the door. The store was empty. When other people walked in everyone was greeted. The young lady at the register was named Sara. I was going to leave and go somewhere else but I didnt want to upset my grandson. Hes never experienced racism. I would like to keep him that way for now.

I have been an avid gamer and a game stop customer for years. Today I visited the Munster location with my husband and the experience changed my entire outlook of the franchise. I was serviced by two female employees, both of whom were very unenthusiastic to help. I attempted to trade in two games and a ps4 controller, all of which are in A1 shape. The first female employee checked my controller for defects. Now, if you’ve been to this location, then you know that you can see the system screen that checks the products. The test went as normal, I watched every light turn green (meaning that the controller was in good working condition) the female employee snatched out the cord connecting my controller to the system, slamming my controller on the counter and said that it was defective. I assumed that maybe she wasn’t in the best mood, so I just collected my things and continued to browse. I then found ANOTHER girl that I assumed could help, so I had her check my games, she looked at me, then my husband and said that she couldn’t accept the games because I didn’t have a receipt. This was very discerning, so i have decided to take my business elsewhere. I don’t want to assume that I was profiled...so I’ll just say that this was a Horrible group of employees on this shift. The only reason they get two stars is because of the great condition of the store but the actual customer service leaves MUCH to be desired.

Went there looking for a deal on some Nintendo Switch games. I could not believe the pricing. Most of their USED games were more expensive than buying the same game new, which leads to no need for commenting on the new game prices. I dont remember Game Stop being such a ripoff. Anyway, I will not be going back.

Been here multiple times with my kids and twice alone. It depends what time you go and what shift they have working. Ive been treated good here but for the most part. I felt I was racially profiled. I truly wished I was wrong but after getting the same crappy treatment. My instincts told me I was. SmdhIf they can treat their customers over the phone and in person better. That would be great.

Employees are allowed to borrow floor copies. When a new game comes out, they open one of the games to display it on the shelf, and keep the new disc in a drawer. Employees are capable of borrowing them, its actually encouraged so employees can talk to customers about the game. However, they will still charge you at New Price for a floor copy. So a copy that has been opened and played before is being marketed at New and sold at full price.It is not illegal for a minor to purchase a Rated M video game, its against their policy. Dont let them spout nonsense about how I cant sell your 16 year old a copy of skyrim, it is illegalThen why was he able to go to the Disk Replay and buy a copy himself for $5 less then you guys were asking for? Ridiculous.

Asked clerk for help finding a certain item and she just pointed. We left the store and found it else where and ended up spending more due to her suggestions

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They need to start answering their phones if they want business. I dont want to waste my time going to their store to see if they have an item, and finding out at the store that they dont have what I need.

The guy was kind of a snot about putting a game on hold for longer than 24 hours, when for years that has never been an issue at any other store. Then says, well if another store wants to break company policy, then thats up to them. How about that extra customer service? Rules are made to be broken or bent, dude... especially when they will help out a customer, big time. Karma sucks man, and when you go looking for a small favor, what goes around comes around....

I have 3 or 4 GameStops closer to my house, but i go out of my way to there Munster store. The staff is very friendly, very informative, and they dont push all the extras on you like most of the other stores.
