Mountain West is an awesome dealer!! I got my 2016 Acura SUV from them. They had the exact one I wanted for thousands of dollars less than anywhere in town, plus it was fully fully loaded! On top of that they gave me more for my trade in than I expected or anyone else had offered. I was honesty shocked at how good of a deal they gave me. I had an out of state bank and Kate the Finance Manager worked with them and did a great job getting everything worked out and finalized. They also stand behind their warranty, I had an issue after I purchased the vehicle that was an incorrect part from the previous owner that would have cost me $2000 and they fixed it for me for free! I love my new SUV and I will definitely shop with Mountain West again!

My husband and I had been to a couple different dealerships and called a few looking for a good price on a reliable car with more space than our current corolla for our growing family and awd for the occasional trips we take up to the mountains. The moment I spoke to Mike over the phone, I felt I could trust him(pretty rare with car salesmen). He gave me all the information I needed over the phone about a Ford Escape I was interested in, so we went in for a test drive. He was very transparent and friendly. He wasnt pushy at all like alot of dealerships can be. Kate then helped us with financing and got us a great rate through a local credit union. She was also very kind. Also, I have much more peace of mind buying from them since they offer a warranty for the engine and transmission for any car you buy from them! Definitely would recommend checking this place out if youre in the market for a used vehicle!

They have ok cars here but most car lot have wiggle room if you are paying all cash. But not at this place. He didnt suggest other vehicles just basically just its a set price and more for fees. Way over priced.

So I found a car on their website that I really liked, I requested information on it they were very honest and straightforward. So I decided to go ahead go in and give it a test drive. I went in they were not pushy whatsoever they are very laid-back easy-going. Once I decided I was going to buy the car I dealt with Kate she was transparent during the whole car buying process and made it very easy and painfree. You need to be more clear over the phone about what needs to be brought in. I came in with a friend who was told to come on it. We had to drive away to get a list of documents. If we were informed in advance, wed have brought them in.

Caveat Emptor. This is the quintessential used car sales lot. They will claim to be transparent and offer that they do a full mechanical check sheet to include tires. Tires are blackened and may not be what they appear to be. Get on your hands and knees to inspect yourself. It took me 100 miles of road film to see what I really bought and their only response was You signed the papers,

I had been to several large and small auto dealers looking for a new truck but unfortunately they were all high pressure sales and ended up walking away from several deals because of it. In January 2018 I decided to take a trip out to Nampa to see what Western Auto Sales had to offer. Upon arrival I was surprised to find a courteous staff with absolutely no pressure sales whatsoever. Mike was awesome and helped me find a sweet tuxedo black 2006 Lincoln Mark Lt 4X4 with just over 100,000 miles on it and right in my price range and at a fair price. After a good test drive I decided I had to have it. The finance process was easy and within the hour I walked out the door with the keys. The truck ran great at purchase but I have since put in new spark plugs, new synthetic fluids all around and installed a performance chip and WOW what a difference it has made. I purchase a 2007 Monte Carlo at a reasonable price. I did notice a check engine light when I drove off the lot that wasnt there the week prior. I drove it straight back and was told that they would cover the expense to fix the issue in their shop as soon as the next business day. Kate the representative I worked with did everything possible to get me into a vehicle, in a timely manner. It was a very pleasant experience I would recommend this company if looking for a vehicle.

I have bought 2 really great vehicles from Western and I had a great experience. They were very helpful and willing to work hard to get me those two vehicles. Not so today. I have been there multiple times over the last 3 months, spoken to everyone who works there. Explained my situation and was told they would do their best, they had this or that that might work....yet not one return call. Not one. Go back and remark on lack of feedback from previous promise maker and just get a run around and excuses made for that person. Today on the phone I get interrupted repeatedly and completely disrespected.I have had nothing but great service prior to this year. Love the mechanical guys and the confidence I felt but I guess that repeat buyers arent important to them. I will no longer recommend them to friends and co-workers

We will never buy from them again. The truck had problems with the motor, didnt reimburse us for a cover they sold us, poor service and a waste of two days and a lot of running around. They should stick to what they know, buses not trucks.

Ive been to multiple dealerships, and recently came across western mountain auto. They were low pressure, transparent with vehicle information and gave us inspection reports, carfax, and even threw in a free 90 day power train warranty.

We live near this business and they always have a very nice fleet of available cars. They all look very clean and seem to be reasonably priced. We drive by here almost on a daily basis and notice the changing assortment of available cars. We saw a Mini Cooper that we really liked the looks of but circumstances delayed our ability to stop and check it out. When we finally had time to look it had been sold. We have been watching the lot and another Cooper became available so we asked about it, test drive it, went on line to make additional comparisons and then decided to make an offer. We accepted the counter offer and feel that we got a reasonable price. We bought it and got it licensed the same afternoon.

Worst place you can go to get a car ...they cleared codes on my truck before I bought it, then put wrong catalytic converters in it which could have caused engine damage because their mechanics are backyard mechanics and then refused to answer my texts and emails after to see How they would remedy it and they just ignored me !!!! So put another $500 into it at my expense!! DONT BUY FROM HERE

I bought a car from them last week amd everything seemed great. The sole purpose for me buying this car is to commute to Idaho Falls every 2 weeks for a split custody situation with my twin daughters. I Drove the car for a week and the check engine light came on (I am assuming they reset it before selling). I took it to a friend/mechanic and the catalytic converter is bad! Also none of the fluids were fresh so they definitely dont service the cars before they sell them. I will call them on monday to see if this is how they conduct business with their customers or if they are willing to make this right with me. The outcome of this phone call or visit will determine whether this stays a 1 star review or changes.

Withheld information about the vehicle a 2011 silverado and had to replace a oil pressure sensor the first week then spark plugs a month later and replace a transmission within 3 months all on one vehicle. Plus they knew nothing about the vehicle saying the tire pressure light was because of after market rims when the sensors were actually bad and the rims were stuck chevy rims since it was a premium package and in talking with the mechanic that checked out the vehicle said he told the salesman to be upfront with me about issues with the vehicle. For me it was too late since I paid cash. Total crooks
