Linda is amazing! My daughter is getting stationed access the country and the movers never showed! Linda hooked us up in a moments notice. She got us a truck and dolls to get my daughter moved out of her house and everything set up for a truck again to move across the country! She gave us military and other discounts and because we have to go to Georgia before Virginia, Linda made sure we had extra miles just in case and a few extra days also just in case! She really bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of!

Well if you dont mind the staff making rude comments to each other about you like your not there, then THIS is your place!! Dont expect to be treated with courtesy, and dont expect the staff to be professional and you will do just fine......

After a horrible driving experience from NC to ID the staff here was so helpful! They heard our concerns, agreed that the truck we had was not in road worthy condition given that our son was cut along the journey. Dixie Cook and James Hoeppner made sure the truck we were picking up that day was safe ie. Tires were good, windshield wipers actually worked, center chair lockable and not broken. Highly recommend this U-Haul to anyone who needs a good moving experience. Will use again if in area, their truck worked perfectly across country.

Hands down the best Uhaul in the Treasure Valley! Linda and the entire team provide the most excellent customer service. They really care, and they definitely go the extra mile for their customers. This is the only place I will go to have a hitch installed in my vehicles and Ive been a customer for over 2 years. Not only are they fast and experienced, the owner and staff genuinely care about your needs. The last hitch they installed proved to be a little tricky with my new suv diesel. Instead of telling me to go somewhere else, they spent extra time researching my cars unique placement, and figured out a perfect solution for me and made it happen. You can trust these guys to do a great job and for an extremely reasonable price. This locally owned shop is honest and friendly - do not hesitate to do business here!

I first went to the website to make an appointment. Everything on the website said all the work could be done at the location.When I stopped by to ask questions and make sure. I was told that they could not add the hitch to my Lexus. She told me my car was too fancy and they would not do the work. She did not offer any advice of another location that could do the work.I called the U-Haul in Garden City... They told me NO PROBLEM. Bring your vehicle here.I cannot in good faith recommend this location.

I’ve used U-haul on many occasions to move and it was a good experience, until today when I referred my mother to use U-haul for her move. She was charged nearly 200$ for using a 17ft for 4 hours. I called them about this pricing and they would not work with her at all. They have lost me as a customer for sure. Would give them 0 stars if I could.

Cant say enough good things about this establishment and the employees!!...we do a lot of business through uhaul and this place is our go to and we prefer to only deal with them if possible!

INCREDIBLE! I don’t usually leave reviews but this place really stood out to me when I went there this morning. Linda Hudson was absolutely wonderful. She gave us the advice and help we needed to make our rental run smoothly. To make things even better the prices are excellent. We ended up paying significantly less than we were quoted on the website. From now on I will always recommend this place to others.

I had a hitch installed on my truck which I was worried about because I knew that my aftermarket exhaust might be in the way. Not only did they make the install look easy, they did it twice as fast as I thought was possible.They were friendly, professional, and I have to say, the best experience I could have expected. They really deserve some kind of recognition, so here is a six star google rating. I know google only shows five, but really, its a six star.Thank you!

Dixie helped us the entire time and she made the experience wonderful. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We rented a trailer for the day to help with yard work. When we returned it, she came out to say hi and ask how everything went. Overall, it was a good experience.

Linda Hudson is the most remarkable customer service and general manager. She was able to get me a 26 ft. truck when everywhere else said they were all gone. I had reserved it and she saw a reservation cancelled and put me in. She is incredible and Ill never forget how helpful she was to me. Thank you Linda.

This location is awesome! The manager and staff are amazing. I rented a storage shed with them for about 3 years. During that time they worked with me on any problem I may have had. If I needed more time on my payment they granted it with a smile. They replaced everyones lock with one that was going to be harder to break in to, because they care about your experience with them. When I needed to rent a truck to move all my stuff they gave me the absolute best price and threw in an extra day for free. I would recommend this U-haul to anyone, hands down. This location is the best experience I have ever had with Uhaul. Very kind and helpful. Went out of their way to help us. Will definitely use them again and will refer them whenever possible.

My husband died loading a rented van. The van was a few hours late due to this fact and though I told the employees why it was slightly late they still charged me for the extra time. MY HUSBAND DIED LOADING THE VAN. No one at the store cared or seemed to believe me. They all looked like teenage dope heads.

Dixie made us laugh and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very motherly and kind and made us super comfortable. I highly recommend using this uhaul station. Everyone has been kind and made sure we always get what we need.

Sadly changing my review from 5 stars to 2. Ive rented from this location many times and always had a great experience. I especially appreciate the gal who usually runs the counter, shes awesome!My issue involved billing and its likely there was nothing the local owner could have done. I was billed the $64 that I estimated and then the $20ish for the added miles. Today I was then billed the fully loaded $84 on top of the $84 my card is still being held for. Its 6 days before Christmas and that was really all I had to try and do something meaningful for my family. I understand that billing isnt handled locally but when something like this happens to a semi regular customer just before Christmas, some kind of a what can I do to make this right conversation is appreciated.Ive had many good experiences with this location and Ill likely use them again. Just really disappointed in how this particular situation was handled.

Will never go through U-Haul again! Terrible customer service at this location. And a specific women who worked at this location. And got the run around on both reservations with customer service and had to go to several locations for pickup and even to locations that we were told were open and weren’t and didn’t even have our auto transport. Terrible never again!

I needed a vehicle to move a large item a short distance, and their sign says $19 so I went in and was told that with gas and mileage it was nearly $50. Home Depot (just around the corner) charged me the $19 they advertise for the same trip.

We drive an extra 20 minutes to go to this Uhaul because they are so good! Their staff is very friendly and professional and they always have what we need. The assistant manager (Im sorry I cant remember her name right now) is awesome!

Took great care of my familys moving and storage needs. Brad (Manager) and his staff are fair and efficient. Overall, a really good experience.

First of all, I have never talked to somebody so kind over the phone before. As I later found out, the owner was the one who took my call and I couldnt believe the quality of customer service over our short call. When I went to pick up the truck and trailer I rented, Paul and Doug helped me out and got me an unbelievable price on exactly what I needed to get back to California and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Thank you guys again for everything, Ive never had such a good uHaul experience before. I really appreciated everything you guys did for me.

Guys were pretty helpful, explanatory, and have a great sense of humor. Their interaction with my family and myself was professional. But more importantly to me they were laid back and not stuffy like a lot of places. Thats the way it should be. In my opinion.

Had a storage unit here and loved the friendly staff. This is also the best, most friendly place to get an actual U-Haul rental. They do not take themselves or the gear to seriously and will get you on your way.

Stopped to refill my propane tank. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Convenient pay at the pump. Half the price of tank exchange.

My opinion of Uhaul off of reviews was pretty low....but it takes just 1 SUPERSTAR employee to make you think damn, what the hell are these people talking about? Im from Utah and If Gene who helped us lived in Utah Id offer him a job, because thats the kind of employee Id want. Kudos to this Uhaul station and to Gene. (Show this to your boss and tell him you need a raise)

Called this U-Haul to install a hitch on my Volkswagen. They were super friendly, got me in right away, did a fantastic job, and charged me even less than the quoted price over the phone. Thanks, Randy!

So after I realized I was going to be charged extra because my trailer was late, even though it was obviously a screw up on the pick up location side, because who would rent me a truck for 4 days and then the trailer to go with it for three days? I pointed out that it was clearly a mistake and that it wasnt right. The guy looked at me like I was from another planet and then proceeded to Bill me the extra money for the trailer I couldnt return because they were closed, being pulled by the truck that had the extra day BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSED! Its not like we were talking a whole heap of cash either. For me it was principle and yes Im pissed off about it.

Uhaul overcharged our card 4 times and when I tried to call to get it fixed they told me they couldnt do anything and I need to dispute it with my bank...my Bank cant do anything because the charges are pending...i need my money its not right at all!they should be able to undue the charges they charged and they said only 2 of the the charges showed in their system...so either the ladies at Uhaul stole from us or their lying to us...

Had them put on a hitch and wiring kit at the nampa uhaul. Took 5 hours when they said max- 1 1/2 hours. The first two hours a tech spent trying to bolt the hitch up. I actually had to show the installer where the bolt holes were and how to install it. Then it took another 3 hours for 3 employees to hook up a wire kit. After it was done, I had no tail light! It gets better!!!! They ran the back of my suv into the ramps which dented my bumper and took paint off. Wait for it... while hooking up the wiring to the right tail light they broke my side interior molding.The manager said don’t worry our insurance will fix it. 3 weeks later and 15 emails with their insurance- they denied the claim and said they didn’t do any of it!!! Wait gets better....2 months later and filing small claim on them, I finally get my day in court and dominate the uhaul representative. They had to pay me $1300. Then I get my check a month later for only $1300? I called up the insurance company and said where is my extra $500 for winning the case? The rep said I don’t know what you are talking about? Wait it gets better... I read their own lawsuit clause word for word to him. It states if you take them to small claims and win they will pay out another $500.This company and its insurance company are a joke!!!

The staff is usually really nice and know what will fit in each of their boxes and vans/trucks.

The woman who checked us in was amazing. When we returned the van at 7:58 the man would not check us in saying they were closed so we had to check in our truck online which took us 20 minutes when it could of been done in 5 minutes.

My husband and I drove out here to pick items up from Auction. Were from Riverton, Utah we were pretty stressed we werent planning to rent a trailor but had too. The associate helping us was so kind and very helpful. Great customer service he really helped to alleviate the stress we were feeling and we left feeling like we definitely would rent from UHAUL in Nampa Idaho again :) Gene thanks for giving us 110% this afternoon you rock!!!!

Truck reaked of smoke and dirty . Upon my return staff was rude and not very helpful. Go to a different rental location or another company

Customer service is poor. The manager is the only one who is of any help. And thats when you can catch er. Nine time out of ten you will be routed to the customer service center in another state. I asked them why this was and she said cause they are always busy. The multiple times that Ive called I was sitting in the parking lot and the young women inside was jus lavishing her self up with not a sole in the store. Dont store your stuff there.

The couple times I have rented from here I have got in and out quick and there was no hassle.

What in there to buy some packing supplies their system was down so they said they could not sell it to me however they sold boxes to a guy that was behind me in line because he had cash with correct change so I also had correct change and told them and they said nope cant sell it to you I said why would you sell it to that other guy but not me if I have cash also lady was very rude about it just said sorry we cant sell it

I expected good customer service. Did not recieve that. I waited in line with another gentleman behind me who actually left after me and my wife were told by the staff member clocked in and I quote your killing me you should have came in on time, its 7 min till i close. Even after being told previously they would call us when the van waa ready.He looked my wife in the eye and said that! From a paying customer and someone with 6 years of customer service experiance, you would expect the friendly knob to be turned up a notch. Not reapectful to me, or my wife.
