Has to be one of the best ENT doctors out there.

He probably was good in his day but his day is no longer good. After meeting with him for almost two hours, he tells my case manager as we are walking out that she will get better soon.

I have been going to Dr. Alburger for over ten years. One of the best. Joyce is also one of the best. Very professional and very nice.

My experience with Dr Alburger & his wife (receptionist) was pathetic & resulted in bells palsy on the right side of my face. This was the result of the reconstructive plastic surgery he completed on my face in August 2019. Mohs surgery required the reconstructive surgery. As a result of this surgery I have had 5 additional surgeries on my right eyelid in an attempt to bring the eyelid back to normal function. I am presently recovering from the last surgery conducted by Bascom Palmer on 6/12/20. Hopefully this will be the last. Still will be unable to use contact lenses until the November of this year. He essentially ruined about a year & a half of my life. I’m a pilot & have been unable to fly this entire time. If you’re reading this by all means find anyone other than Dr Alburger for your medical needs. His receptionist is absolutely psychotic, rude & unprofessional.

The first person you speak with and are always greeted by is Joyce. She is a very sweet, helpful, and personable woman. I have never met such a caring and knowledgeable office manager/secretary/receptionist, etc..The sitting area is very calming, comfortable and peaceful. Calming music, fine art and luxurious seating helps put you into a tranquil feeling before you see the Doctor and get more information than any Doctor has ever given anyone. I have never been to such a welcoming and comfortable Doctors office.The Doctor is actually the one that greets you to call you in! Once he comes to get you, you are in his hands only. You never get interrupted during your one on one visit. Doctor Alburger is an encyclopedia of ENT and much more information. You will NOT leave with questions! Dr. Alburger takes his time to truly listen to you, your issues and your needs. He is a very nice man whom truly cares about you and he is a terrific doctor! I have even had medical issues that I see other specialists for and they could not figure out what was wrong. Through Dr. Alburgers extensive and thorough exam and time spent with me, he had known the problem. I have taken what he said to my specialist and he has always been correct. If time permits and you are lucky enough, he may even tell you a joke or a interesting fact about something, anything. :)If you are looking for an office that is more comfortable than your own home and as welcoming as visiting your grandmother or best friend, then this is the office for you! If you are looking for a Doctor that truly loves what he does and spends every extra moment reading about more medical studies and absorbs all of the medical knowledge that he can to give his clients the best possible evaluation and more, then Dr. Alburger is the Doctor for you.YES, I 100% recommend Doctor Alburger and love the office and Joyce too!

I was squeezed in on aSaturday with a bad ear infection and was very happy with my care. Joyce the reception person was very sweet. And Dr. was very informative and took care of my problem fast. I would send anyone to him.

After calling my insurance The agent called Dr Albuger office to make sure they would take my insurance. I called back to see what I would need in a referral as I myself work in healthcare, well Joice Was very rude “ don’t your insurance person tell what I said?” Then when I explained my problems, she said your case it’s very complicated you probably should just call the doctor that did the surgery the first time . Ok well that was in 2009 I’m in Naples there in Sarasota, maybe I should be seen first By an ENT to make sure that’s what’s going on again !Joyce, no I really think you should just call them back and tell them you need to see them.Me: That makes no sense I’m having a CT ordered and I need to see an ENT to make sure that that’s the problem if your office doesn’t want to take patients to say so in the first place!Worst receptionist ever my office sees so many people because of this issue right here, office is refusing to see patients when they really need a professional and we have to hunt around to find somebody to see them or they just never call the patient back it’s sad 😢

Best ENT! Dr. Alburger has been able to fix ALL my ailments without fail. He is passionate about what he does and takes is time to thoroughly explain all possible causes and solutions!

I am a licensed mental health professional with a masters degree in health psychology, so I understand about the importance of kindness and empathy, not just from mental health professionals, but also from others in the medical profession. I have never had a medical practice receptionist talk down to me the way I was spoken to when I contacted Dr. Alburgers office. I was discharged from the hospital just before making this call, and facing some very scary news. At a time when I was in need of patience and kindness, I received an unprofessional and condescending attitude. Dont be fooled by her sickeningly sweet voice when she picks up the phone, once you start asking questions she becomes passive-aggressive and condescending. It is absolutely unacceptable to speak in this way to patients. After talking to this practice, I also spoke with my PCP through NCH Physicians Group, Dr. Kanes office and Millennium Physician Group and their receptionists were patient as I asked questions about my insurance, and they explained things well. My PCPs receptionist even made some phone calls for me to find an ENT who is in-network with my insurance, and willing to work with the hospitals recommendation that I been seen in 1-2 days. I called Dr. Alburgers office back to inform the receptionist that she had been mistaken about the things she had said about my insurance and she sarcastically and in a sing-song voice wished me well and hung up the phone on me! If you want to get off the phone or leave your doctors office feeling much worse than you did before, use this practice. If not, dont be afraid to be empowered, ask questions and take your healthcare into your own hands! There are healthcare professionals out there who are patient and truly care. This practice is not one of them.

Joyce, Dr Alburgers wife & receptionist is perfectly evil. He isnt that bad a guy, but he did screw up my nose.

Ill have to agree with the other bad reviews about the receptionist and the overall feel of the office... Mediocre at best!
