I have been here before, got my car serviced and had no troubles. I just took my car into get an oil change and was told I could wait for it and that it shouldn’t take that long. I waited 3 hours for my oil change and will never schedule an oil change with them again.
I scheduled a service appointment and was called later by the dealer to change it because they didnt think theyd be able to finish the work that late in the day. When I arrived for my earlier (re-scheduled) appointment the service manager I worked with seemed bothered I was there talking to him and told me Id been re-scheduled for the wrong service and that Id have to call to make a new appointment. He was unable to set a new appointment for me. No apology for my wasted time due to their scheduling error, zero interest in helping me out. Called the office later to complain about the issue. She seemed to care about the mix-up even less and said shed be willing to forward my call to Scheduling. Cant think of the last time Ive felt so unvalued as a potential customer.

Extremely disappointed with my first experience at Carl Black Chevrolet Service... This review is for the Service Center and Scheduling departments only.Was booked for an appointment today @9am for a recall fix on my Silverados braking system. Upon arrival, I was greeted and taken to the Service desks. After looking me up in the system, I was told by the technicians that were running on a skeleton crew today, and they couldnt get me in for my repair for at least a few days... To which I responded with the fact that I was scheduled for a same day repair at this specific time... Ultimately, it ended with them putting their hands up in the air and me walking back to my truck with no resolution. The whole experience felt very off and Im more disappointed that they didnt at least try to resolve this with me. The lack of care or empathy to the situation was very apparent from the employees at the desk.Im sorry that you have a skeleton crew today, but your scheduling department should be in sync with the service department. The fact that you have technicians there and couldnt go ahead and try to squeeze my small and fast repair (its a computer update that takes about one hour to do - told from the other Chevrolet dealer I called immediately after to schedule an appointment with) in for the day, boggles my mind... Bottom line is this should not be the customers fault. I shouldnt have to call another Chevrolet dealership in the city because your team wont stick to their word or offer a small amount of customer service to remedy a situation that is beyond the customers control.

I had a great experience a few weeks ago at Carl black. I walked in randomly on a Monday afternoon and a nice gentleman named Cameron helped me out. He was really knowledgeable and laid back. I didn’t end up purchasing that day but I’ll be back in in a few months to hopefully get my dream truck. I just sent a friend in a few days ago and he also had a great experience.

If I could give less then 1 Star I would. I had shopped online for a new truck I put in the request on their website to be contacted by a sales person. Multiple days went by before hearing anything at all from them and then the flood gates opened with multiple calls and texts in the middle of the work day when I couldn’t answer. When I got free from work I replied to a text and told them that because I travel for my job I don’t have a lot of time to talk on the phone but would like to give them all the info if exactly what I was looking for, my trade in, down payment etc. I got a reply that it would be passed on. Then the phone went silent no emails or calls or texts nothing at all. even after I wrote back to the number that text me nothing. Finally I called into the dealer and the person I had been working with was not working that day (Saturday) but there was a sticky note that they wanted me to bring my trade in to check it out. At this point still no offers on what I was looking for no communication until I called in but hey they want to see my trade in. The girl on the phone asked if I would like to speak to the manager I said sure! So he gets on the phone apologizes to me and said this had been assigned to a sales person and they were suppose to be reaching out to me and asked if they had....I said well no that’s why I’m calling you. He then told me he would handle it from here on out personally we talked about what I was looking to buy even down to what colors I like finally a breath of fresh air. I gave him the vin to my trade in so he could get more of an idea on what kind of deal they could swing for me (I was looking at a $76k truck) so I’m thinking this is great the manager is going to work with me! Guess what phone, texts, emails all went silent no offers, scheduling for a test drive, nothing! Now the manager had let me down as well when he said he himself would take care of me. Days go by, then the next Saturday comes and during the week I had been window shopping online at other dealers because at this point I’m frustrated. I put in a request at this other dealer online and get a call almost immediately, tell them what I’m looking to trade in etc. and wow they are on top of it and by lunch time I have my new truck and such a great experience. Carl Black you dropped the ball big time. You lost a good sale from lack of customer service but here’s the cherry on top. I get a call Saturday afternoon from a new salesman from Carl Black not the manager who had promised me he personally would take care of me on my truck buying needs. When I told them I had just bought a truck all they cared about was trying to dig for more info like who I bought it from, my reply.... a dealer who actually responds to emails and phone calls and doesn’t take a month to make me an offer.
Truck was supposed to be first thing monday morning . Tue evening i picked it up because they had not even looked at it yet

I am so impressed with their reasonable pricing and ability to get the job done right. The first thing that caught my attention was the price of the oil change - FINALLY theres a place I am not being price gouged by owning a Corvette. John and the service team are quick to diagnose any issues, and they get it right the first time, every time thus far. This review comes after my 4th time here in a year and a half (never from reoccurring issues), and every time they exceed expectations. First Car Dealer Ive ever felt 100% sure they were taking good care of my baby. The complimentary shuttle to and from is a cherry on top.I read a review earlier mentioning this being the best place to get a Corvette Fixed - I second that.
I am a very demanding buyer. When I buy a car I do my homework and demand the best. I usually have multiple dealersgips working deals to get the sale.I can honestly say that Hayden and his manager got me almost everything I wanted on the 2020 trail boss that I just bought. Jewell/Star Kinslow was fun but also straight to the point. I came in and told him our issues. He respected my wife as as she is a saleslady at another dealership and knew how the process worked. He was never pushy and listened to everything we had to say or our concerns. I basically told him what I needed as far as monthly payment and he got me there,maybe $28 dollars difference; but it was affordable with zero down and they did not have good credit to work with ;so I give them a very good rating as far as helping people with bad credit and there is no judgement about it. Always a pleasant experience here! Customer service is great and they are always patient with myblack of car knowledge. I go here for my regular oil changes and I trust them to do other maintenance and repair on my car. When my car was hit and damaged, they recommended a great autobody shop for what they couldnt do in house. Im very thankful for Zach in the service department who is always honest and makes me feel confident that I am being taken care of.
After having a couple things done by their service department, anything I need done to my truck will be handled by them. Everything has been quick and easy. Zack has been the one that I worked with and is great at his job.
Called and made a service appointment for 7am. I pulled in to the parking lot at 6:55 and there was one car in front of me. At 315pm, I get a call telling me that they have not even looked at my car yet and basically told me that appointment times were useless. However, no one told me this on the phone when I called to make the appointment or when I dropped the car off. When I dropped it off, they asked if needed if they could keep it over night to work on it and obviously I said yes to that. However, what they SHOULD have said is we probably wont get to your car until tomorrow. Can we keep it overnight to just sit in our lot because our appointment times are meaningless and then we can look at it tomorrow? The shuttle service and shuttle drivers are great but otherwise, less than impressed

I wish I could give 0 stars. Bought my car here and had no issues with the sales team. This review reflects primarily the service team. Rarely friendly - doesn’t matter who you “check in” with. Shawn is the only advisor who has taken time to explain delays. Have NEVER waited less than 2.5 HOURS for an oil/filter change, tire rotation/balance. There is absolutley nothing quick about their service. And it doesn’t always seem to be an overbooked schedule issue. Can’t complain about the service performed but have never waited longer than 20-30 minutes for OVER THE TOP routine car maintenance prior to my experience with this business. So if you have absolutely nothing better to do on your days off than wait for hours on end for a routine maintenance for your vehicle, this is your place. Would not recommend to ANYONE otherwise.

If I could give zero stars I would. Called to schedule a maintenance for a vehicle recall and to have my 75k mile service done on my fleet vehicle which went fine. However it went downhill from there. The night before I got phone calls and texts requesting to purchase my vehicle, when did I sign up for solicitations?! When asked I was informed that this was an automated message and they had no co trolls over it. Show up for my appointment and spend 15 minutes waiting in a line of empty vehicles blocking an empty garage. Finally went in to see 4 staff members just sitting there on their computers. When asked why they dont have a sign stating to enter the facility for assistance they had no answer. Then when asked for the 4th time what I was there for I was informed that entire request was not written down on the schedule and if I wanted the brakes looked at it would turn an hr and a half job into something that would take all day. Truly terrible experience and Ill never come back to this dealership.
I have gone to this place for years for a oil change and tire rotation. I let it slide when they lied about topping off my fluids because my light came on. What I won’t let slide is how they tried to swindle me out of my money. These morons told me I needed a new radiator, water pump, and a flush. I had my car towed there and had it re towed when they quoted me over $1300. I took it somewhere else they did a pressure test and I didn’t need a radiator! PLUS my car battery was dead when I went to go get it re towed. My battery was NEVER a issue before I took it. So they basically ran my battery down as well. I will still go to them for a oil change (for now) BUT they will NEVER look at my car again!!!! PeriodT

Incredibly unhelpful. I’ve been several times for various things regarding a vehicle I purchased from the dealership several months ago. The first time, they told me they would help me out price wise if I had to take it back in. When the problems persisted, I took it back. The guy who made that promise to me the first time no longer works there, and the new guy I talked to said that they never help any customers in that capacity. Today I’m here again, after telling the lady on the phone I needed an oil change and I needed them to look at a part that was leaking. When I got here, the guy at the desk told me that it was too late in the day for them to do anything besides the oil change. Why didn’t the lady on the phone yesterday tell me this?This place sucks, and it’s upsetting that this is the one Chevy place in town.

If you value your time and energy, do not do business with this company.We own a 2011 Chevy Cruze. We bring it here because its such a turd of a car that any issues are usually covered under some kind of recall, and the repairs are done for free.Two years ago the power brakes would stop working without warning. (You want to talk about scary.) So we do our usual routine of taking it to the dealership, but the technician can’t recreate the problem. We have to take it back three times before it gets repaired. The brakes have an electric pump that switches on when theres low vacuum pressure. (Common during acceleration) Ours isnt switching on. It’s apparently an extremely common issue for this vehicle, and theres a NHTSA product safety recall (bulletin# 12213) because it’s so dangerous. It’s so common that our family mechanic who works for another manufacturer was able to diagnose it over the phone when we called for advice. A quick google search of the words “2011 chevy cruze brakes” returned pages and pages of information. Only after providing your mechanics with the apparently obvious issue did they perform the correct repair. Two years later and our vehicle is back in the shop for the exact same issue. We’re going to be paying for the same repair of the same faulty system once again.We will be replacing that vehicle within the next 6 months and we certainly wont be considering any of the vehicles on the Carl Black lot, and best of all we wont have any further connection to the service department

My experience with Carl Black is limited to service department... here it goes...I brought my vehicle for service and oil change once a month... dealt mostly with Zach Powell....not very welcoming attitude, Zach Powell in my experience is an unprofessional thug with ghetto attitude... he needs to be reminded that he is in customer service business.his treat towards me was disrespectful, confrontational and extremely uncomfortable...
