I called them and set my move up in advance. They showed up on time. The day they moved me it was raining. I was told I would get 3 guys and truck. I was okay with that. Before I was done, I had about 8 guys moving me. I thought maybe because of the rain they had extra guys. I didn’t ask any questions. I found out later that the other guys was one of their friends. I didn’t even get professional movers. They got mud everywhere on my carpet fine it was raining. They did $500 worth of damage to my walls at my brand new house. They also broke my dresser among other things. I thought they would cover some things. They only cover some much of the dresser and they did cover the damage to the walls. I moved in July. They told me I would not receive my money until some time in December. Getting them to get me the correct paperwork was a nightmare. I will never use them again. I will never recommend them to anyone.

The crew that I had was excellent. Donald Reese, Elijah Jereme, and Jay were amazing, professional, and fast. Nothing was damaged in the move and they got me moved out from my old place and moved into my new one in about two hours. I highly recommend this crew to help you move!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company was hired to move my family from Nashville to Medina TN. We had every box marked which room it was to be placed in the new home. We were not able to go with the movers but had a friend meet them to let them in the house. When we arrived at the new house a couple days later, we found the entire garage filled with all the boxes. They did not even attempt to put any boxes in the marked rooms. As we started to move boxes into the house, we started finding items that were broken and boxes marked fragile on the bottom of a stack under boxes marked heavy. We also found wardrobe boxes in the garage, not in the closet and not even in the house.As soon as they arrived at the house to start loading, they supervisor began asking for a tip and for payment upfront.These are just some of the pictures of the boxes.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY.

This was the worst moving crew we have ever had and we have moved 6 times! I do not recommend Fox Moving! These are not professional movers they have working for them! They did not pad my light linen colored furniture. What movers don’t pad your furniture? I have to pay $446 to have a furniture cleaning company come out and professionally clean my furniture. They stood my couches up on the ends and wheeled then in on dollys and they are filthy dirty.I’m super mad about this because I would think moving 101 they know to protect furniture. THEN if that’s not bad enough… they grabbed onto our king size gel memory foam mattress and took a big chuck of the gel memory foam out of the mattress!!!! Look at the picture! What movers don’t know you can’t pull on gel foam mattresses??? This mattress was 6 years old and now it’s ruined and needs to be replaced at a few thousand dollars! Ridiculous! THEN if that’s not bad enough they fell off the truck ramp carrying my queen size guest headboard and it went flying down the street. It’s cracked and road scratches all over the front of it. Note the mover was ok however there goes another $1000 on a new headboard which wasn’t padded in a furniture pad either!!! They broke 1 lamp and it was a set so now that 1 lamp is useless. They broke the wood stand up office lam as well. Listen, the list goes on and on and I’m posting this in hopes to help someone else and prevent this from happening to another person. I am out thousands of dollars because all this company wants to pay me is .60 per pound. Ridiculous! I will pay out of pocket to replace my damaged items but I will also be telling everyone that I know not to use this very unprofessional moving company who hires a crew that could careless about what they’re doing for a job. Fox moving if you read this review please work on your hiring skills and train your crew to respect others’ property and move them properly. That’s all!

We evaluated 3 different moving companies for our out-of-state move and we are glad we chose Fox. We just had one issue - after our inventory was done and we were trying to book it, we had a lot of trouble reaching anyone in the office. They were very busy and didnt return calls promptly. Im sure they could use a few more people to handle the workload. But finally we spoke to Chad, who answered all our questions and was very professional.On moving day, the crew - Darrell, Glenn, David and Maurice - arrived on time. They were very efficient, careful, organized and hard-working. Everything went well.I also like that the crew stays with the load all the way to its destination - they dont hand it off to another crew. At our new home, they arrived exactly when they said they would. They moved everything in quickly, set up beds, and completed the move without incident.We are very glad we chose Fox and we highly recommend them.

I filled out an online form for a quote to move a pool table. Spoke to them promptly, they could not do the job. 6 months later I keep getting spam emails from them offering to give a quote. Ridiculous.

The whole reason I wanted to hire a moving company was to help me move my upright piano in addition to all my furniture. I confirmed that would be okay when I set up the move over the phone. When the movers came, they lied (or were just wrong) and told me that their company doesn’t move pianos. I was confused but took their word for it.After the move, I called the company. And they confirmed that yes, they should’ve moved the piano. What’s absurd is that their offer for rectifying the issue was for me to pay for a whole other hour of service with only a 10% discount.So we have movers that either lied out of laziness or don’t know what their own company’s policies are, and customer support that did very little to try and make things right. Look elsewhere.

Malik’s crew was simply amazing! These guys were the best movers we’ve ever had. They took great care of our belongings and so receptive to our needs all with a smile on their face. I’m not kidding! Couldn’t have been happier with this group; they weren’t the cheapest but by far the best! Worth every penny, definitely earned their money! FYI give them a big tip, it’s worth it!

We hired them because they were the best price we could find. We were very happy with them! They unloaded our truck in record time. They worked in unbearably hot conditions and were finished well before we thought they could be. They were also a great group of men who we really liked. Booking move was easy and convenient. I did have to change my move because my apartment complex moved me up a floor, and customer service said I would now need 3 movers, however only 2 showed up. They got the job done and didnt charge me the extra mover fee. Couldve been more careful with my things, but I am overall satisfied and would book again.

Fox immediately sent someone to walk through my house then gave me a firm quote which was very fair. I used Fox Moving to move a house to local storage unit. These guys were great, exceptionally efficient and got the job done quickly! And their friendly banter and personalities were fun to listen to. They disassembled the furniture, wrapped with paper, fabric and/or plastic what needed it, and were amazing at tetris-ing the furniture in the storage unit. I will certainly use them again in the future!

Just hired Fox Moving and Storage to move us Christiansburg VA from Franklin TN. I was greatly impressed by this company after getting burned badly by a long well known moving company on my last move. The crew that moved us was Darrel and Dave. I cant say enough nice things about how well they treated our belongings or their respectful demeanor. I also want to mention Chad the coordinator in the Nashville office who was great in giving us the actual price of what it would cost based on the weight I knew they had to haul and how far we needed it moved. Beware there are a a lot of shady moving companies out there that change price in the middle of your move, Fox is not one of them. I will definitely recommend them to anyone! I highly recommend you ask for Chad out their Nashville office.

The Junter Crew was great! Professional, courteous, and fast. They communicated great and knew how to handle the obstacles of moving between high rises downtown. Very fast and efficient. All of my belongings arrived in one piece! Great experience!

Great working with Fox Moving. I packed all my things into U-Haul boxes and everything went as planned and they moved me from Murfreesboro, TN to Plano, TX in two days. I had a two bedroom two bath, second floor apt. I got 4 moving quotes and chose Fox because of the sales department attention to details and their price. I would highly recommend Fox Moving.

They came prepared to work and knocked out a third floor 2 bedroom apartment and was able to get it fully unloaded in a house nearby in just under 2 hours. They were professional and polite. Read a lot of great reviews, so I booked movers with this company. They arrived 1.5 hours after our set window and only called to inform me of that after I called them. While they were very fast moving our furniture out of the old house and into the new house, it was done so carelessly with some items. The biggest lesson I learned was to verify that every little piece of furniture was delivered unharmed before the movers leave. A little bit after they left as I started to unpack, I discovered the bottom legs of my bed frame and another small table were missing and my antique mirror was cracked. Two pieces that attach the mirror to a dresser were also missing, but I thankfully found one in my yard. I have reached out to customer service to see how these situations are solved, but overall I am very frustrated by my experience. The claims process for damages seems to take a while as well. The moving team was very friendly and fast, but wish a little more care would have been taken.*update: purchase the highest level of additional insurance possible. After filing my claim for damages, they are only offering me a small fraction of the cost of the repairs I have to make due to their carelessness. *

I was very disappointed.They were 3 1/2 hours late, after several phone calls, 2 guys finally showed.The lady that came before the move that ordered the supplies and did the inventory list and estimate only ordered 2 guys to process the entire move, packing and moving.I had told her to schedule this move for a 6 hr process, 7 tops. 2 guys isnt going to get that accomplished. And I unpacked myself.People expect your company to be the experts. I made it clear that I d never done this before and didnt know what to expect. Well I got a hard lesson.When I called to complain, they said I should have reviewed my order estimate more carefully as it stated that I had only 2 guys on the job.Im going to tell you that, not apologizing and owning and taking responsibility for NOT listening to your customer who made it clear Id never done this before and then blaming me for not reading paperwork is very unprofessional. Yes I should have read the paperwork, but your company should have had someone call me, go over in detail exactly what that paperwork says and layout those details, verbally, and ask, is there any changes? And then, ask, youre aware there are 2 guys on this job, you know this gives you a time frame of 13 hrs total to complete this project....See???Im in newspaper advertising, I go over details like this so everybody knows what they are getting.For 2,000 and I was willing to pay 3000.Seriously. Im angry still about it.The guys took off with a water cup, Airforce, water cup, about 50.00 cup.Broke my DVD wooden cabinet, the doors, the rest is solid wood.Very disappointing. Unprofessional.My media cabinet was a 300.00 cabinet. Broke, cant be used.Fox Moving owes me a media cabinet.

I was very worried about 3 pieces of furniture. The movers wrapped the pieces and handled them with great care. All of the movers did an outstanding job. Antione, Anthony, Jonathan and Trey are outstanding movers. If I move again, I will use Fox if they promise to give me the same crew again.

Maliks crew moved us from Smyrna to Rockvale this week. They were on time, professional, and took great care of us and our stuff. Highly recommend!

One of the movers drug furniture across our hardwood floor and scratched it in 5 places. We had to pay $1000 to get it fixed. He was about to drag more furniture after we realized the scratches and I told him to stop. I also gave him sliders to use so he wouldn’t continue to do it.Fox lied to us about what they would do. Told us they would take care of the scratches with their handy man- which they didn’t. Then we had to pay someone to do it. They said they would pay for it all, which they later said the max claim they would give us was $250.They also said they would fix the walls in our new home that they scuffed up and scratched. Still no response on that. They wouldn’t return phone calls and emails. Finally when I got someone to call me back, the office manager hung up on me.DO NOT USE!!!! They came recommended by a friend and we were very disappointed that they didn’t live up to others experiences.If you want them to remotely make it right- then make sure you buy the extra insurance.

Five Stars truly isnt enough for this incredible company! My husband and I moved from Dallas TX to the Nashville area and I could not have asked for a better experience. Fox Moving provided such a stress free experience. They carefully packed my entire house in a timely manner and directly delivered it to Nashville. I significantly enjoyed this compared to other moving companies, who provided me with a two - three week window regarding when I could expect my belongings to be delivered. They stored my items for a few days locally in Nashville until my husband and I arrived to move in our new home! They unloaded my items and I was grateful they labeled everything properly during the packing phase because I could easily direct them where to place my items in my new home! I have successfully unpacked everything from our move, and there was not one item even remotely damaged- not a scratch! The team was kind, efficient and clearly showed great care for all of our items. I wish I could remember all of the crews name, but Marvin, OT, and the other two who helped us were the BEST. Demi Lowe, the office Manager at Fox Moving was incredible as well in answering all my questions and diligently helping me schedule my move. I could not recommend a better moving company!!

We had an amazing experience with Jonathan Stevens and Matt Osbourn from Fox. They were very professional, worked extremely hard, and took good care of our belongings. They were flexible and adaptable when the elevator in our apartment building stopped working, and they were also extremely kind! Highly recommend Fox, and those two in-particular!

Johnathan Stevens and Matt Osbourn went way above and beyond with our move. They handled a day full of lots of challenges (extreme traffic, bad weather, a broken elevator) with exceptional professionalism. They worked really hard from the time they arrived in the morning until after 11 at night, and were so kind and helpful throughout the whole day. We felt totally confident in their abilities and enjoyed being with them. They did a great job!

Had a short notice move on a holiday weekend and Fox Moving was able to get me in. They sent Ron, Greg, and Javon who arrived on time stayed moving and didn’t drag out the time which is important since you do pay by the hour. Very polite and mindful of how to pack everything in and wrap up items so they didn’t get damaged. Would recommend and use again!

The 3 guys we had were very professional and cared about our furniture. Also they made a long day fun. They had good personalities and by the end of the day seemed like friends. They always wanted to make sure they had placed my furniture exactly as I wanted and made sure the boxes were in the appropriate room.

Several valuable things were broken and some taken. Purchased some from Overseas and they only offered a settlement for $500. Stressed me out causing a mild heart attack

I do not recommend this moving company. Lots of items missing and broken. We were promised our items would be vaulted while in storage; however, we received multiple items that did not belong to us and we are missing multiple items. Nothing was packed professionally. Team did not estimate the correct size of the truck needed requiring our move out to be delayed. Claim process took months.

Our moving guys, Joe, Dre, Kool A were AWESOME! They handled our big move from TN to Pennsylvania with great professionalism. They took excellent care of our personal items and transport of our car. The crew was over three hours late from the time window that was given to me. I called each hour asking when they would arrive, and each time was told that I would be hearing from them shortly. When the crew finally called to say that they were going to be there within the hour, I told them that I was upset that I had been waiting so long. I in turn received a discount on the move, but then one of the movers told my partner that I had been upset on the phone, as though my partner should somehow keep me in line. The movers took two hours bringing my things to my new home, though my new home was only one hour away. Finally, all three movers used my bathroom, leaving a foul odor.

Malik and his crew were one of the most professional and efficient moving crews I’ve ever worked with. They had our storage unit(25’x10’) in Brentwood packed and were able to drive out to Mt. Juliet and completely unload the truck in under 2.5 hours!If you are going to use Fox Moving and Storage, I would highly recommend Malik’s crew if they are available!

Used Fox when I was in a pinch and needed some larger items moved in preparation for renovations. They were able to get me on the calendar quickly and were reasonably priced. The move out crew came somewhat unprepared for some of the needs, but showed up on time and were polite and responsive. For the move back in things went more smoothly and I appreciated the care that the movers took with our furniture pieces and our newly refinished flooring.

This was the worst moving company we have ever dealt with! If you want your furniture scratched and broken then use them. They do not show up on time, which caused us to do most of the packing, and ended up taking until 4 a.m. in the morning to move into our new house. In which they did not do what we paid them to do, which was a full pack and unpack move. Chad acted liked he cared, but in the end he was as useless as the moving company! I repeat do not use them!!!! Fox Moving should of paid us to move, since we did most of the packing! If I can give them a negative 10 I would, no follow up on how the move was? Was anything broken? They will take your money and move on! If the owner wants to come to our home and look at our furniture, they basically scratched every item. We had recently bought our son a HYDRO rowing machine, they expensive, they broke a piece out of the end of it! Its like they just crammed our furniture into the truck to make it fit!!! DO NOT USE FOX MOVING! unless you want everything you own broken or scratched! I want our money back!!!!!!!

They are really nice guys but terrible movers. We moved from out of state and they received our items to their facility from a Independent shipper in sealed containers .Then loaded it on to their truck. They lost some expensive items from their warehouse to our home. They damaged our walls in our brand newly built home. They just piled the totes and boxes into the rooms with no regard to the walls. Their customer service SUCKS. I have called a few times and they said they would look into the missing items but have not heard back. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY..

I had a washer and dryer moved about 70 miles. Quick service and the price was reasonable. I did make sure to let them know when I scheduled the move that I had the old washer/dryer in my house, and they said theyd be able to haul the old ones off; when the new ones got here, the guys told me they couldnt take the old ones. Other than that, very satisfied.

I work for a moving company in California and we used Fox Movers to help us empty a couple 26ft box trucks for a client that just moved to Nashville from Los Angeles. We got the job done and ended up with a happy client!Thanks to Jay, Kavion, Javon, and Bobby for being there to make it happen. :)1 star off because they did arrive late and did not bring dollies as we had requested, but luckily the access was such that we did fine without them.

It looks like most people either have a really good experience or really bad one and unfortunately, ours wasnt great. We were told the movers would arrive between 9-10am and so were ready and waiting at 9. I had taken work off and everything. We didn’t hear anything until AFTER 10 when one of the movers called and said they’d arrive in 30 minutes. He called from a hidden number so we didnt have any contact info. At 11am (no movers), we emailed/called the company and after explaining our confusion and frustration, were transferred to leave a voicemail for someone else. We never received a call back. We were looking for other moving companies when the movers finally arrived at NOON. The oddest part was, they came from a different move and never said a word about being late or apologized for the delay. It was almost like we hadnt been in their morning schedule at all. I dont know if the movers are over burdened or that morning had been overbooked but it was an extremely unprofessional experience and we were really disappointed. The movers were nice guys but seemed like they were in a huge rush and ended up dropping multiple items and then laughed about it. If I could go back, I wouldve hired a different company OR cancelled once they were over an hour late. It was equally disappointing that we never received an apology or an offer for a discount, etc for the huge delay from anyone (movers or admin). 0/10 recommend, sadly!

I was VERY impressed with my 3 movers Carl, Jacob and Calvin. They were efficient, professional and very polite. They were hard working! I would not hesitate to use them again for my moving needs. Darryl and his crew were 3 of the nicest, professional and patient movers I have ever had. These young men took such great care to move everything in and out without a single scratch. They had a very long day with me due to a delay in getting into my new home, but they worked tirelessly and all with a smile on their faces. I would definitely recommend Fox but especially these 3 gentlemen. They made the whole experience a joyful one. I have always looked at the move as the first step to a new chapter and a bad experience can sour that. No sour here, just thankfulness for the great treatment and the help in making my day enjoyable.

We had a wonderful experience with Fox Moving and Storage. We had two different crews: one to move things from our storage unit into our new home, then another the following week to move us from temporary housing to the new home. Both crews were great - they showed up on time, took care with our items, and went out of their way to make sure they were putting things where they belonged. In addition, Amanda in the office was so helpful! This was our 6th major move in the past 20 years, and Fox is the best company we’ve worked with. Highly recommend!

Booking my move with Chad last week - he was very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the process. Out of the five companies I contacted, Fox was the most affordable and also the most professional - no hidden or additional fees, straight-foward process. Looking forward to my June move :)

SERVICE PERFORMED ON 03/10/2021This company seems to enjoy destroying property during their moves. The agreement was to move a hospital bed from an apartment to a house in Nashville (they were told it was a different task because of its weight), Fox and client agreed that 4 movers were needed but only two showed up to perform job. Since two guys were not enough, it took them forever to get job done damaging a wall, a door, room paint and door frames (probably between $400 and $600 in repairs)before they were finally able to put hospital bed in their truck but they were happy to charge as many hours (4.5 hours to be exact). It took them almost an hour to travel 12 miles within Nashville and when they finally arrived, they were not ready to deliver bed because once again they realized the same two guys were not enough. After refusing to pay the amount they charged, I was told they will keep bed in storage until payment is done even though sick patient urgently needs bed in their house due to his condition. (stroke)

Called about finding a friend work, and just as I expected, they are ALWAYS hiring movers. Yall I worked here as a driver and Alex and his people there always took good care of me. My friend moved on to something else but theyll always get a good rating from me.

Contracted with Fox to pick up furniture items only (we did our own packing of small items). Were very pleased with crew that picked up the furniture; they seemed to know what they were doing and took great care loading our items onto their truck. Furniture was in storage for 4 months while our new house was completed. When delivery truck arrived and door was opened, there was our furniture, looking as if someone had just tossed everything into the truck with no regard to protecting wood and upholstered furniture. A metal patio table was laying on top of a rather expensive sofa bed, with no covering on the sofa and no means of protecting it. Worked stepped on top of the sofa to get to the table for unloading. Almost every piece of wood furniture had scratches or gouges. Learned that our furniture had been unloaded from the warehouse onto a delivery truck, then the next morning unloaded from that truck to another for delivery to us. It is believed this is where most of the damage must have taken place. No care seemed to have been taken to properly load our furniture, and protect it with blankets, etc, for the move from the warehouse to our home. Sorry, but cannot recommend this company.

I had a horrible experience with these movers they were the worst ever scratched floors knicked door frame broke pocket door broke expensive cat tower every piece of furniture knicked beds put together incorrectly did not wrap or cover anything didn’t care sad I would never use again or recommend and they are expensive I would shop around ;(

I hired Fox moving for the largest truck besides the semi truck and 3 movers. We moved 1 hour away from Nashville. Of the 3 movers there only one was really good. His name was Glen. One guy was half way working and the 3rd guy hid out in the truck or in the shade at places. Not really doing anything until the other movers brought items to the truck. The movers blamed the office/dispatch on not letting them know of a small storage at my condo that had to be moved. I had everything boxed up. No packing required, just moving the items. There was a extra trip that had to be done. It resulted in 2 hours of drive time. I ended up having to do 4 phone calls to the office to get this taken off the bill. To be honest, there should have been more like 3.5 hours taken off. However, I just wanted everything done. The office staff didnt call me back about the final credit back to me. I wouldnt have known about this except for getting a email sent to me. So lazy moving labor people (plus they had attitude to boot) and office staff that didnt follow up on the final end results. My bill was still around $1,800 in total at the end... If you choose to use the company, be prepared to micro manage the movers so they arent being lazy.

Antoine, Anthony and Jonaton were great! They did a great job packing our storage pod and were fun to talk to as well. I hope theyll be assigned to us when we move our stuff back in in a month or so.

I hired 2 men and a truck but got 3 men and a truck! Move took 4hrs to move my stuff, my girlfriends stuff, and pick up a few pieces of furniture we were gifted from a 3rd location to our 4th floor walkup. I had Antoine, Jonathan, and Anthony. Jonathan was a beast! And Anthony was crucial for some heavy / bulky items. One of my nightstands (particle board) broke and they dont insure particle board so I had to eat that cost, but it was cheap & things happen. Would recommend and use again.

This moving company was great and made everything so easy on a short notice. Our movers were Donald Reese and Trey, Shawn, and Greg. We will definitely recommend them to everyone.

We were very impressed with Fox Moving! Tammie has been very pleasant to deal with. We had Melik’s team yesterday, and they were such a joy. They were as particular with our furniture as we would have been. We had a very large move (4500 plus square ft) and didn’t have anything damaged. They worked non stop until they finished the job at midnight. We were so grateful for them and their dedication. We are looking forward to using them again in the future.

The Antione Team (Antione, Anthony, Johnathon, and Trey) was great. They were professional, responsive, respectful and careful with our items. That made a stressful moving day be way less stressful.

I had never used a moving company before and was worried that the movers would not be motivated to finish the job or care if the items or homes were damaged. I was overwhelmingly surprised at the quick pace and efficiency that the team of 3 worked at and the care that they took with every item. Fox has a customer and referral for life with me and my family. Thank you Fox.

UPDATE: Only after I disputed a billing error on my credit card did Fox finally agree to a partial refund. Their post-move coordinator Taneshia (?) was extremely professional and helpful, and was easily the most pleasant part of the whole ordeal with Fox. In spite of everything, I am at least appreciative of their willingness to make it right in the end.Original review:Short version--They damaged my home, threw away some important hardware, and charged me for TWO FULL crews because the first crew arrived too late to finish the job on the first day. Read on for more:I would think twice before you use Fox Moving and Storage.We were scheduled for a (typical, not large) residential move within 4 miles and given an arrival window for mid-afternoon. The first call I received with an update was after 5PM, and the crew ultimately did not arrive until nearly 7PM.They brought an extra two helpers because the move was starting so late. However, within 20 minutes one of the crew got into a shouting match with the crew chief in my front yard, and stormed off down the street. After talking with the crew chief, I instructed them to only move the bare necessities from our home. The crew was clearly exhausted from working all day, and the move was on track to last until after midnight.The next morning, I called Fox, and to their credit, they found a 2-man crew to help me move the remainder of our possessions to our new home. While this team was moving my things, they badly damaged a wall in our old home. Also, I discovered that the previous nights crew had thrown away a bag of important hardware that had been taped to one of our pieces of furniture.Given that they were handling my personal possessions and know where I live, I decided not to argue directly with the crew about these issues. I paid BOTH crews what they asked AND tipped each member of BOTH crews $40/ea (over $200 in tips alone). Because of the wall damage, the second crew gave me a discount of 10% (which amounted to less than $50 on a move that ended up costing over $1100).I have since reached out to Fox and calmly described these issues. The lady who spoke with me was sympathetic, and spoke with the dispatch chief about our very bad experience with their company. I even stated that I have no issue with the wall damage--I do not have time before closing to deal with their company insurance to repair it.However, they have decided that since they have completed the work they were contracted to perform, they owe me nothing further. I was not provided with contact information for any higher management to speak with about my experience.While I am sure that Fox has many capable crews who have done awesome work for some clients, their dispatchers and managers are deeply irresponsible and clearly over-loaded.
