I highly recommend this location, not only because it is in a safe neighborhood but because the staff is so welcoming. From the day I moved in until I left, I felt that they had my security and best interests in mind. Even though I closed my unit, I couldn’t have asked for a nicer send off.Caitlyn, who handled my move-out, was very efficient and hospitable (even though she was on her lunch break!). Location is generally clean, kept up well. Taylor is the most deserving of the above 5th star as an exceptional representative of management for sure, she exceeded expectations several times with communication and follow up. In my experience renting at this location she has always listened and addressed concerns immediately and never once delegated to another individual.

This was my first time storing and the manager Brandie made everything seamless!! Very accommodating and helpful to people new to storage and answered every single question.

This location was great. Clean. Taylor was super helpful and nice. This experience was night and day better than my experience at the other Charlotte pike location where I couldnt even get the manager to be there during the open hours.

We had to get a (additional) small short term unit while moving and were able to book online. On arrival, Taylor was very helpful and made the rental experience easy. She was able to get us this unit near our other one for easy moving. The property is kept clean, employees have always been professional and easy going when we have needed to interact with the office, access is easy but secure.

The unit I reserved over the phone was at a location that happened to be closed that day. After over an hour talking to 3 different reps to try and complete the online registration and was unable to my only option was to do go to the nearest location and see if they could help in person. Courtney was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to help me and after getting approval of the regional manager she closed her property to drive down and meet me at the location where my unit is and complete my registration. She really went the extra mile finding a solution to this “big mess” of a situation. Thank you Courtney again for your dedication to excellent customer service!

Had to find storage quickly in March due to leaving Vanderbilt mid semester because of covid... this facility is extremely clean and very secure. Staff is extremely helpful! We just moved out after 5 months and all our belongings are in perfect condition. Mary and Taylor especially went over and beyond their duties to make our move out easier! Highly recommend!

This is by far the BEST storage unit facility we have ever used! What makes our experience the best is Taylor! She has helped us in what has been a very stressful time. I have a small child, my husband is getting ready to deploy, and were in the middle of a national pandemic. Taylor went above and beyond by calling to confirm my scheduled appointment and to answer every question I had over the phone and in person (even if I repeated myself). With my husband leaving we decided to to downsize and rather quickly and Taylor made it all happen. Weve been there several months and my review is long overdue. To this day when I go by I see Taylor walking her facility and the staff cleaning. This company is lucky to have her and I think she deserves a raise! I wish there were more people like her in the customer service industry!

If I could give this location, the staff, and this company 0 stars I would.Like many of the other reviewers, I, too, experienced an unexpected increase in my rental fees (from $117 to $144) in just a few months after moving in my items. To which I was flatly told, a possible rental increase was listed in the rental agreement.My most recent grievance with this facility began three weeks ago. I returned to my storage unit on Saturday, October 24t​h​, to retrieve my belongings. Upon entering the space, I noticed there was mold/fungus on a vintage upholstered chair. This was troubling; however, I believed that was the only item in my entire unit that was affected. I began to search throughout my unit to find ​all open surfaces were covered in mold and/or fungus. There was even mold/fungus on items stored in boxes.Upon this realization I went to the main office at the facility. I informed the woman at the desk I noticed there was mold/fungus on the majority, if not all, of my items in my unit. Her initial words to me were See. Thats why we tell people to get the insurance. There was no acknowledgement or care given towards what I mentioned. She walked to the end of the counter where the pamphlets were on display to retrieve one to pass to me. I stood in shock that the person who was supposedly there to help did not seem helpful at all.After further discussion, the woman informed me:1. A customer recently stated they noticed mold in their unit,2. After investigating, it was apparent the mold was a result of a HVAC issue, and3. Even with this knowledge, no communications were given -- neither by letter, phoneor email -- to the tenants of the Public Storage location.On October 24th, the woman informed me they were aware of the HVAC/mold issue for at least 2-3 weeks. At the time of this review, November 13, 2020, still no notice has been received to inform tenants of the mold.I asked the woman to provide a card, her name, and the name of the manager. It was at this time I was told the womans name is Taylor, and she was, in fact, one of the managers of the business. I expressed my disappointment in not only how there was lack of transparency and communication to the tenants, but with the reaction of the woman as well. The verbal (Im sorry but I dont know what else you want me to say.) and nonverbal (throwing up of hands) communication used by the woman was highly unprofessional and did not display simple customer service skills.After I left the office, I received a voicemail message from Taylor. She mentioned she would confer with her manager to inquire of a discount on next months fees. The charges originally due on November 1s​t​ have been credited to my account. This is not enough, however.After a week of no contact to rectify this issue besides a credit to my account, I contacted the customer service department on November 1st. I explained what happened to an agent and was told I would receive a call from Brett, District Manager. As of November 5th, I did not receive a call from Brett, so I called customer service again. On the first call, I was wrongly transferred. On the second call, I received Bretts number to call him directly. I left a voicemail. Because his voicemail greeting states I check my messages twice a day, I expected a call, at the very latest, within a business day or two. But there was no call. Around 2 pm on November 10th, I stopped by the storage facility to see if I could reach someone in person. The office was dark, and the doors were locked. There was not a sign stating they were showing a unit; I honestly dont know where the office staff could have been. So I called Brett again. This time, I left a voicemail detailing my issue and an update to the insurance claim I filed for my items. (The insurance company will not pay for my items.)On November 12th, I missed a call/voicemail from Brett, a full week after my initial call. I returned his call within 20 minutes but was unable to reach him.

Well although Ive used public storage in the past Ive never seen an indoor public storage place so at first I was a little skeptical but once I got in to see how clean professional and climate controlled it was I was glad I chose this place. The one lady that work there alone was extremely kind and very helpful Im not giving this place 5 stars is because of her I feel like she was in a very unsafe environment being there by herself she was working the phone, helping people into the storage, she was awesome but she really did need some help so my advice would be to get this young lady some help this is a beautiful brand new place in a perfect location great prices again only reason Im not giving it 5 stars, just because you needed more people working there to improve the customer service so that people werent waiting.

I have 2 units at the location downtown on 5th Ave S. I needed one more unit at the location on 26th Ave. Although my experience at the 5th Ave location was wonderful, I had the worst customer experience EVER at the 26th Ave N location. I had a sub-contractor go to the 26th Ave location to reserve this new unit under my existing account. I found out 24 hours later that this was not done properly. The contractor informed me that the gate code they were given did not work and they had to follow someone else in to access the unit over the weekend. (This contractor also accesses my units at the 5th Ave location, so he knows how to use the codes with the special characters). I went online into my account to double check the access code for the contractor, and this new unit was not in my account. It turns out, the staff at the 26th Ave location leased the storage unit in the contractors name using MY credit card for payment. They gave him keys to a unit and a gate access code to get to the unit and they ran the payment on MY credit card. This is actually credit card fraud. The name, phone number and drivers license on this new unit is all under someone other than me, yet they ran the payment on my credit card. When I called to have them fix this mistake, the on-site manager said it was impossible. I reminded her that MY credit card was charged, so the unit must be put in my name. Before I could even get to part that the gate code didnt work and the contractor had to wait to follow someone in to load things into the unit, she cut me off. She kept talking over me and wouldnt even let me explain how serious of a problem this is. I finally asked her to be quiet and hear what I was telling her, then she hung up on me. Yep, she hung up on me. I dont think I have experienced that sine I was 12 years old. So now I have a storage unit, paid for on my credit card, filled with my business items, but I dont have access to the account because it is in my contractors name, DL & phone number. The manager at this location is rude and incompetent. I have left a message with the district manager and hope he can fix the credit card fraud issue, get me a working code to access my items and address the on-site manager about how she treated me. Im not even worried about fixing the account. I will be moving my items out, into another company in that area and doing a chargeback on my credit card since what she did technically credit card fraud.

This facility is clean and well maintained. What an amazing group of professionals and kind hearted staff. Consistently, they offer first rate customer service that is convenient, fast, and considerate of my individual needs. Bravo 🔐

We moved into the unit in Sept 2018 and out in late Oct 2019 during our building renovations. Great service, helpful staff, easy access anytime of day, online billing and good website.I would recommend to anyone looking for clean, secure, climate controlled storage for a short time or long one. 🤠

This used to be a nice storage facility, until Public Storage took over. I’m pretty shocked it doesn’t have more bad reviews. Because there’s no consistent manager, so much goes unnoticed. The floors are never cleaned, the bathrooms are typically an actual hazard due to people off the street using them for numerous unsanitary behaviors, and the place is generally unkempt. Attempts to reach out to the corporate office fall on deaf ears. If someone would just put in the effort, it’d be a nice facility.

Mindy was efficient during the check-in process. She was also super friendly and professional. A+ for customer service. The facility is new, modern, clean and super safe. I definitely recommend for a storage company!
