I took my vintage sax to Bandwagon for an overhaul after it sat in closets for several decades without being played much.They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and took great care of my horn.I had a couple of issues after it settled in a bit after the overhaul (normal), and they gladly did a couple of adjustments free of charge.Im excited to get back to playing again now that the sax sounds so awesome!They offer lessons too for anyone whos a little rusty. Wish it was closer to Madison!

Our son dropped his school trombone and dented the slide. We brought it to our neighborhood repair place. We showed our band director the repair and he told us we needed to go to the Bandwagon to get it fixed, so we did. He completely fixed every issue for half the cost we thought It was going to be. He made the repair in less than two days and it sounds amazing.This was our first time visiting the Bandwagon and even though in Bellevue, it is only minutes from the Highway 100 split and worth it. If you look at their website you will see that they have won many awards for best new business etc and what they don’t tell you, is that they gave half their award money back to the community. Ask Linden for their story! I hope that we all are willing to support a locally owned business where the owners are working 80 hours a week keeping their doors open to serve us and provide a living for themselves. I recently inherited a bass clarinet that hadn’t been worked on since the 80s and needed to have it adjusted. This place was recommended by our trumpet instructor as a place that is good quality work and reasonably priced. It’s hard to tell which instrument repair places are good here since there are many and esp since we’re new in town and weren’t sure who to trust with instrument repairs. Had a trumpet that needed to be checked and a violin that needed to be repaired. Linden checked the trumpet thoroughly, even with a small light, didn’t find anything significant and told me that...and didn’t charge me anything for the assessment, even tho it took 15 mins of his time. The violin needed new strings and the bridge replaced. I felt like repair was very reasonably priced, done quickly and all around they were very helpful. It’s a little bit aways from where we live, but worth the drive to know they’ll be honest and easy to work with.

The owners are so kind and patient every time I go in to shop. The store is clean and well organized. Made a great referral to a music teacher for us.

I had Linden do a clean/oil/adjustment on my tenor. The price was right, Linden and Jennifer were friendly and professional and the turnaround was quick. The saxophone is now playing great! I will definitely be returning for regular maintenance and repairs with all of my instruments and recommending their service to other fellow musicians.

They are supper helpful with repairs and do a really great job whenever anything is wrong with our instrument. The atmosphere of their shop is very welcoming and friendly and they can answer almost any questions you might have about your instrument. Not to mention that they’re hours are very accessible so you can easily fit them into your schedule.

I had a wonderful experience at a summer camp to learn the ukulele. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming, not impersonal like you find at other music stores. They took time to show me how to use my tuner and asked about the classes. Its that same good feeling you used to get when you went into a mom and pop store - like youre a neighbor coming to visit. And the class was such fun. They had a really excellent teacher who was so patient! I highly recommend them to anyone needing supplies, repairs, or music classes.

It is a very well organized shop and the people who work there really care about whats best for you and your instrument. They really are looking out for you and trying to make sure you know the facts and that they arent taking advantage of you, like some places try might try to do. All in all they are a great shop if you need anything anything musical done. Plus they are GREAT supporters of the arts!

Went in and asked a simple question of which I was already 80 percent aware of, the store then tried to talk me into paying upwards of a hundred dollars for a repair I know I didnt need. They have this mechanic like way of trying to sell work and it was very shady, I was super excited to see a local store and was more than happy to start being a customer, but after this I think Ill pass.

Our family has been overwhelmingly pleased with the service and staff of Bandwagon Music. Ive been playing woodwinds professionally in Nashville since 1975. For many years HB at Hewgleys, then Harley at The Band Room, and then Larry at Opus horn repair in Bowling Green did all of my work. Now that Opus and Larry Long are gone, I am thrilled to have found Linden and his team! They did a quick playing adjustment on my flute in just a couple of days and its doing exactly what it needs to do! I cant wait to take my 1963 Selmer Mark VI tenor in and let him tune it up! Finding Bandwagon was literally an answer to prayer, my daughter was having difficulty with the school bass clarinet she was using and every day would come home frustrated and sad because she was not able to play at her potential and she had Midstate tryouts coming up. Linden was so helpful and took the time to listen to my daughter play and help figure out the problem. He gave great advice to her, helped her choose a better reed which has help enormously and adjusted the instrument. After all he did my daughter finally had some hope that she would be able to play at Midstate. He even followed up with a call to see how things were going with her instrument after he adjusted it. We were able to locate a used bass clarinet for her to finally own her own and he did an amazing job on adjusting it and getting it back to us in time for Midstate tryouts. My daughter made it into Midstate and we are so thankful for Bandwagon’s help to get her there.
