Abuser of At-Will employment laws. Unethical practices at upper management levels. Highest turnover of any company I’ve worked for both voluntary and involuntary turnover. Trying very hard via marketing to mask this problem but do your research and reach out to ex employees on LinkedIn to get the inside scoop. Thousands of better options for employment opportunities. From a customer standpoint look for upcoming BBB complaints.

We were a customer of Novatech for many years. Medium-sized office. We went through two different sets of contracts. However, our recent experience has not been a good one. Their service is okay, but the prices are quite a bit higher than another competitor in town. Because of their evergreen clause, we failed to cancel on time and one of contracts renewed for an additional year. Buying out that contract has been a very bad experience from a business standpoint. The contracts are vague and you are held to costs that are not stated or explained.
Called in a service call for our printer. Customer service was absolutely wonderful, and our service tech, Alex, was just as wonderful! Very polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. He got here within 1 hour of the 3 hour time frame. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! I was experiencing multiple difficulties with our business account due to a misunderstanding and a partial department move. I called and Bonnie took care of me the first time expressing how much she wanted to make sure I was taken care of. I was expecting yet another painful process, and when we got disconnected when she tried to transfer me, I didnt think much of it besides the fact that I would have to call again and explain my situation to another individual in the hopes of resolution.When I called again, I spoke with Travis B. who assured me that my multiple accounts could be linked. I also had a multitude of questions that I was seeking answers to, which he did his best to answer. Instead of just pretending like he knew everything (which none of us do), he told me what he would do to make sure I was taken care of (Im noticing a trend here! I love it!). We reached a resolution and told me to expect contact from various people within NovaCopy.Now, here I am thinking Im all done and thats it for me when I get another call from NovaCopy. I had missed it due to being on the phone with Travis, but decided to call the number back in the hopes of having some answers. I dialed it and the wonderful Bonnie answered the phone! When I asked if I had missed something, she responded that no she didnt have answers, BUT she wanted to make sure that if I didnt that she could take care of me (I cannot get enough of this!).I responded that I had not been expecting a call back and typically dont in this situation, but again she reassured me that they honestly care about their customers and want to make sure they have everything they need.Now, Im a busy person when Im at work, but I genuinely had a moment where I was so shocked I didnt know what to say! I could sense the sincerity in her statement and asked if I could speak to a manager. She then transferred me willingly to Kristen, who I probably rambled on a bit too much about how awesome their team was (and is!). I am a firm believer that the people that strive to make your company better should know that what theyre doing matters. Thats why I also took the time to write this lengthy review for future customers or people who are considering doing business with NovaCopy.Lets just say this: I felt like more than just a random client phone call today. I actually wrote a review for NovaCopy several years ago. It has since disappeared mysteriously. Im more than happy to publish a fresh copy. Ill keep this short and sweet. I leased a copier with NovaCopy. Five years went by and my lease entered into what is called and evergreen clause where because I did not write into the leasing company and ask for a cancellation I have to keep making payments on a machine that I already paid for. This is the big dark secret of the copier leasing world. NovaCopy knows this and actually enjoys this fact because they are getting free money. I was told I received a cancellation reminder but I did not. Anyhow, if you want to throw your money away and be visited several times a year by rude salespeople then NovaCopy is your clear choice.
I worked with NovaCopy earlier this year on leasing a Konica-Minolta printer/copier for my companys Dallas office. The rep I worked with on the lease was really great. He was knowledgeable of the products that NovaCopy offered and worked with me to make sure we found a machine that fit our needs. Their pricing was very competitive to other providers I researched. I would highly recommend NovaCopy to anyone looking to lease a printer/copier.

We have leased from NovaCopy for about 8 years. In general we have received good service, the equipment is durable, their price is competitive. Weve had a few hicups along the way, but usually are resolved quickly.

Mike Hankins and the team at NovaCopy were proactive in approaching us and suggesting to us ways to restructure our usage, get updated machines, and still reduce our overall monthly copier costs. As CFO, any time one of our service providers can take care of support functions for us with little to no effort on our end AND save us money in the process, they quickly become a trusted partner in my book.

Slow, skeezy, pushy, and they like to hide things from you. Not that the contract doesnt say it in black and white as my rep so rudely told me. And they all but bribe you to do business with them. Cannot believe I fell for the lower price scam -- you pay for what you get! Lower prices, lower integrity. After the fact, a friend told me that they put a machine in her office as a demo and wouldnt take it away after they said no to them.

Our staff was without an office for nearly two months and Kimberly, our main contact with the Nashville NovaCopy location, went above and beyond every time we needed her... which was often! We are a full service print for pay company and have used NovaCopy for all of our printer needs, including Konica and Kip machines, since 2007. We also purchased an envelope inserter and paper punch. There were problems with two color printers last year and they were both replaced by NovaCopy. When other normal issues arrive, we are satisfied with the outcome. Yes, I would (and do) recommend them to others.

High-pressure sales tactics, company officers who do not care about customers and only care about the bottom line (Joe White), deceptive lease terms.
Two years ago, we purchased a Canon wide format printer from another business that Novacopy was in the process of buying out. We were not informed of the merger. The sales rep, at the time, made all kinds of promises. He also claimed that our media would work with the printer and promised lessons on how to use it. We were also told if we placed our order by a certain day and time, our printer would be delivered to their store by Friday. We placed the order and the next day was told our printer was on the truck for delivery. We drove two and a half hours to Nashville for the printer only to discover it was never placed on the truck. Had to make another five hour round trip to Nashville the next week. This time we went to the Novacopy building, where there was no customer parking.The person who was supposed to show us how to use the printer was clueless on how to work it himself. He was also attempting to teach us on a model that was different from ours. We paid for the printer on the spot and there was to be rebates associated with it if purchased by a certain date. We also purchased the printer before the end of the year as we needed for tax purposes.When checking credit card statements, it was discovered Novacopy, never turned in the charges. They were informed of their mistake and I had to spend several hours with them trying to get them straightened out. They also failed to submit the paperwork for the rebates that we were informed they would handle at the time of purchase. We were originally denied the rebates, as they were submitted after the cutoff date. Had Novacopy done this at the time of the purchase, there never would have been an issue. More time wasted getting this straightened out.We brought the printer home and set it up where it sat for several months because we had no clue how to operate it. It does not come with an actual manual but software to download. After several months, I finally was able to sit down and plat with it and try to learn how to use it. I got it to where I was able to do what I wanted.In the mean time, I would periodically get phone calls from Novacopy wanting to sell supplies. I told them I could get better pricing on the internet for genuine inks. I also told them I was still waiting on them to show us how to use the printer. I was told they would get back with me on this. After several phone calls like this, they quit calling when they finally realized I was not going to do any more business with them.After about a year of using the printer, I started having issues with the paper feed. It would not load selected media. I called and was told someone would get back with me. Never happened. Since, at the time, it was just one media type, I let it go and continued on. Some months later, the printer quit accepting several medias. These were the ones I used most often. I called Novacopy for service and was told someone would be there the next day. I informed them I would be out of town and could we schedule it for the following Monday. The assured me That someone would be there Monday morning. I did ask them if they realized where we were located and was told it would not be a problem. On Monday, by noon, I hadnt heard from anyone. I called Novacopy and was told we were out of their service area. I asked them why they couldnt have told me this when I initially called. Couldnt answer. I wasted another day waiting on them to show up and they didnt even have the decency to call and say no one would be there. I had to reschedule my appointments to make sure I would be here. Neither Novacopy or Canon could provide me with service for this printer. Canon tried telling me it was my media, which had been working for several months and Novacopys sales rep told us it would work and was acceptable.
Our office recently received a new Konica machine from NovaCopy and weve been very pleased with both the service of the staff and performance of the machine!
It is the remarkable service and attention to detail that NOVACopy delivers with their service guys. I understand that all copiers will have issues from time to time, however, the service NOVACopy provides to minimize these issues is second to none. They are “Johnny on the spot” when we call and someone is here very quickly. That alone speaks volumes for the success presented by the NOVACopy team. Bryan Winfree is a great account rep. He helped us determine the best fit for our needs in terms of equipment selection, oversaw installation and setup and provided as much user training as we asked for. He came back for multiple sessions for different groups of users. Service is fantastic - issues are resolved almost always on the first visit. Were saving compared to our old provider both on monthly lease and consumables cost. I leased several units from NovaCopy a few years ago, which are still under lease. The units were a dp190 and a few c253s. Each of the units had issues, especially the Konicas. Instead of fixing the issues with my machines I was simply told to upgrade and that this should solve my problem.
I own a small electronics retail store in the Nashville area. I was visited a few weeks ago by two Novacopy employees. They asked several questions about my printing volume. I explained that we didnt do much in-house printing and that it wouldnt make sense to switch over to a cost per copy MFD. However, despite explaining that I really had no use for a large copier I was revisited again by the president of the company and another sales associate. I was assured again and again that NovaCopy could enhance my business. After about 15 minutes of pressuring the two finally left. I was quite annoyed with the pushy attitude and not take no for an answer tactics of the so called president of this company. The man left his card. His name is Joe White. Stay way from Novacopy and this man.
I am a small business owner here in Nashville. Ive been called on several times by NovaCopy salespeople. However, over the past two months I have had the joy of being visited by extra pushy and rude salespeople who visited my office in teams of two. I received a brief message from a sales rep stating that he would be stopping by my office (regardless of if this was okay with me). The next day a sales rep and a person stating that he was the president of NovaCopy stopped in without an appointment. I had to stop what I was doing just to explain that we didnt do a lot of volume in terms of printing and copying. Moreover, I had to listen to the president of the company basically tell me that I was incorrect in my assessment and then try to sell me a system of copiers and small printers. Ive been visited by many salespeople in the past. However, NovaCopy is the most rude among this group.
Ive spent over 30 years in information technologies. About 14 years ago I moved from consulting to network administration. I had a plant manager that was upset to the extreme with the document center outside of his office. For my first foray into the wonderful experience of copier shopping I took a chance on a new company in Nashville named Novacopy. It was one of the best purchasing decisions I have made. Brad Daugherty was the rep at that time and he worked with us to get the best machines at the best price. The service techs were always prompt and efficient at keeping the machines running. Novacopy made me a hero to the plant manager. Three years later when the leases expired, Novacopy was again put to the test against the competition and proved to be the best choice.I have now been at a different company for 7 years and Novacopy has helped me straighten out what was a copier nightmare. Charlie Metz and Simon Read both have the same excellent customer focus that Brad had in the early days. They have helped me find the right solution for our facility. With their assistance, our copying, printing, scanning, and faxing is a smooth operation with low and predictable costs. Evan and all of the technicians are very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and (most importantly) here when we need them.Two companies, four owners, numerous managers, eight copiers, four printers, and 14 years later, I highly value the business relationship that we have established with Novacopy.
