Where to begin? I wont even discuss our buying experience - it should have been a red flag but we found a great car at a great price so we chalked it up to COVID and some miscommunication. At the time of purchase (June2020) we paid the dealership to handle our registration... because who wants to deal with the DMV?!After about 8-10 weeks of owning the car we still had not received our updated registration as our temporary registration (provided by the dealership) was about to run out. We contacted on a number of occasions regarding the issue and were promised we would receive returned calls which never happened. We were able to get another temporary registration from the dealership in September after they explained there was some hold up with the DMV. That registration has now expired meaning I am driving a vehicle without valid registration. We have contacted the dealership more than a dozen times asking for some resolution to this issue. We continue to get the run around, they refuse to provide us the contact information for their GM and once again, have yet to receive a returned call from anyone at the dealership. I have emailed my request to either have some type of documentation of the issue that I could provide to an officer when I eventually get pulled over OR that they return the money we paid them so that we can pay the registration ourselves. They have ignored our requests and continue to tell us they are looking into our case with the DMV.I honestly hope that this is not an experience anyone else has to go through. I rarely write a review but the customer service and lack of communication is so appalling and unacceptable at this point I felt others needed to be forewarned before handing over thousands of dollars to this location. I would give them zero stars if possible but that is not an option.* UPDATE: They just informed me that this is happening to multiple people so be aware that if you purchase from this dealership you may actually end up driving your car without a valid registration.
This is definitely one of the most customer friendly dealerships I have ever been in. My son made his purchase online and came in to get it and was treated politely and expediently throughout the process. The finance people didnt try to strong arm him into purchasing additional items that he did not want or need.
I regret making the long drive to this dealership in National City!! Total used car sales mentality here. No prices on cars. They just want to bring you inside and waste your time. Probably rob you blind! Do yourself a favor and dont come here. Their website is sd equally awful as their staff. Tried calling from the phone link and got an automated message This number is no longer in service. I was prepared to buy a car for my son because we havent found the Mazda3 hatchback he wants. He found several there and asked me to go check them out. I was ready to sign and walk off with a car. Only to be greeted by a salesman with zero interest in talking to me. Probably because of the way I was dressed. Bad call dude! I needed a CX-9 and a M3. Thank you Mazda Tustin for taking my call and scheduling a test drive tomorrow!!! You have my respect!
