Took my 2000 GMC 1500 Sierra truck in on the 20th of Sept. to be repainted to its original maroon color. They told me it would be ready in a week. They called me the following Monday that it was done. Picked it up and it came out better than I expected. They did a great job and explained the warranty and all. Will definitely recommend them to family and friends.Great job!!!

I had an aftermarket front bumper and fascia painted and mounted by Mark and the guys at Maaco. UNBELIEVABLE how good of a job these guys do, I was completely blown away with the quality of work. I had some fitment issues (because sometimes OEM and aftermarket don’t play well together) but I brought it to their attention and they helped me resolve the issue almost immediately. I never write reviews, but they deserve this one for sure. Thanks again to all the guys who took part in this build, you have my business from now on.

I got my 1996 4runner today. They did a great job. I am pleased for what I got. The hood, left rear quarter panel and rear gate were painted. Nice matching of the green paint. I will use again in the future.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I recently took my ‘93 Dodge Ram D250 in to be re-painted. Everyone was very professional and courteous, and Randy was extremely helpful by walking us through the entire process, answering all of our questions, and keeping us updated during the process. It took a little longer than expected, but that was only because they wanted to make sure it was all done right. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great place. Had 2 repairs on 2 cars in the last 2 months. The quotation process was fast and professional. Both Jesse and Randy are super nice to work with and kept me updated well on the status of the repairs. They really worked well with insurance company and got me a bigger refund than I anticipated. The finished job on both cars is excellent. These were both European cars with complex colors. Highly recommend this place.

I worked with Jesse a few weeks ago when I dropped my vehicle off to have some minor body work and an all over paint job completed. From the moment that I walked in, it was a great experience! Great conversation about the options and warranties that Maaco offers and the expectations were set on the work to be completed and also the time frame that it would take.And then, to cap it off, my insurance tried to have me return the rental before my actual vehicle was completed, and Jesse offered to call them to explain that they were still working on the vehicle. If I have repair needs in the future, Im bringing my car back here! Great experience all around!

Update: I picked up my vehicle today. They did a great job. Paint is nice and shiny. I will use them again. I dropped off my 1996 4runner last week to get some paint done. These guys were great! My car was damaged at Big League Car Wash, but they sent me to Maaco and paid for everything to be fixed. They looked at it, wrote up the estimate for the damages, submitted it to the car wash and called me as soon as the parts were in. Installed the parts in under 2 hours and there was no hassle what so ever!

I must admit I was very tentative about getting my 20 year old truck painted, yet alone any of my classic vehicles. Randy, Jess and the entire team made the process so simple! Explaining everything, and helping me feel comfortable with my options. I have heard the horror stories of paint jobs in the past. You know where the paint doesnt last etc.Randy and Jess really put me at ease and explained the mechanical sanding process, the purpose and need for the different types of sealers and the difference between the different types of paint, and clearcoats. I elected to remove most of the items on my vehicle (mirrors, taillights etc.) to save a few dollars.When I went to pick up the vehicle I was amazed at the quality of the work, none of the horror stories of the past. The color matched the jambs perfectly and the repair and paint to my camper shell was fantastic.During the finalizing of the paperwork Jess and Randy went in to detail about washing and care instructions. Randy must have said 10 times, as we walked around the vehicle if you ever have a concern or question please let us know, so we can handle any issues. I picked up the keys and went home .The next day while re-installing the grill I accidently scratched the corner of the hood. I called up and talked to the owner, Dan to see if I could get some touch up paint. Dan asked what happened, and I confessed that I slipped up and scratched the vehicle. Thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks, I thought.Dan, said bring it by let us see what we can do to take care of it. I fully expected to have to pay for my mistake. Dan had his team buff out my scratch For no charge, and it wasnt even the shops mistake. Talk about customer service, I had admittedly scratched the vehicle after I left the shop.WOW, I couldnt have had any better experience! The team is professional and honest. I will be bringing my 72 Cuda there for a repaint in the winter. I will let them do the removal of the items next time!

This place painted my husbands Humvee and did an AWESOME job! Compliments consistently on his humvee and you can never tell it was any other color besides the white it is now! 4 stars instead of 5 because it was hard to communicate with Maaco, the time frame for completion continuously changed but we understand some things were out of MAACOS hand. The work is honestly phenomenal though!

I went for a estimate to paint my 2007 truck. I came away knowing more about the process than I did before. This MAACO seems to a lot better than many of the reviews you read. The price was good based on the age of my truck and that its never been in a garage.Ok, here we are and I have my truck back from a complete paint job. Randy (GM) said it would take about 7 to 10 days and he was true to his word. The truck looks great! I am soooo glad I did the research and found that this MAACO was different than the others in the regional area. The dirty, sun bleached blue is now a true blue just like from the factory. Randy and his crew did all they said they could do and did their best at the really tough areas. All the work exceeded my expectations!!Two staples that I live by when I deal with vendors; (1) It should not be hard for me to spend my money and (2) they do what they say they are going to do. This MAACO again exceeded both. They are also Veteran friendly as I am a retired Marine Corps Colonel. Randy is former Navy so we had some fun with that. Oh, at my age 65 I want to have fun when I spend my money. Well we all had a good time.Honesty. This is a big item is my principled based leadership style and they passed with flying colors. During the process of preparing the truck to be painted they roughed up the top of the windshield about a quarter sized spot. Without waiting for me to find it Randy told me about it and gave me the option of a new windshield or some money back. I tried to find it before he told me where it was and I could not. So, I took the money and will take my lovely wife out to dinner (not McDonalds).Finally, he provided all the dos and donts for a newly painted truck and told me to call if any questions or if something happens to the paint. I told him I would. All in all I was very pleased and impressed by the service, paint job and the cost to paint the truck.I will update this as time presses onward but I have a feeling everything will be A OK (John Glenn) .

Went in to get a couple of estimates for painting my kids car. Provided a few options and explained the process and expectations thoroughly. Deciding on a color now.

I had my side mirror replaced at this location. A neighbor recommended them. I love the convenient location, and their employees and GM were incredibly nice. Randy the GM quickly got me a quote and was great about communicating appointment times. I had to reschedule 3 times and they couldn’t have been nicer about it! Their pricing was VERY competitive and reasonable. So happy to have finally found a close by body shop that I trust to do affordable dependable work! Highly recommend them!

Amazing customer service. They had car in the shop almost immediately after I talked to them. They offer to drive you to your home and pick you back up when you drop your car off and when it’s ready for pick up. They gave me a time estimate and it was spot on ready. I was only without a car for maybe 5 days, and considering the damage that’s amazing. I can’t even tell I was in an accident. They also worked really well on the price and my insurance with me. I would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially someone who can’t go long without their vehicle.

Hands down the best auto experience weve ever received. I have been with a high line extreme customer service company for the past 6 years and Maaco in NB sets the bar high! Randy McCue started helping us from the second we walked in until the second we were through. We stopped in to get a quote to have our 89 Land Cruiser repainted and rhino-lined on the inside. His knowledge and explanation of everything was on point. Was not pushy at all. We left to decide and went home to bring the LC back to get started! The turn around was great and we were kept informed the entire time. I asked lots of questions via text throughout the process and Randy answered them all without hesitation. I have taken all my accidents (3) in the last year to this shop. The employees are great to work with and do thier very best to make your vehicle flawless after an accident finding even the smallest of imperfections to fix and own up for any errors along the way. They will work with your deductible and I would definitely trust them with the painting of my car. After several accidents by no cause of my own my car still looks new and the numerous repairs and repaints are not detectable to the eye.

After a day of traveling to various paint shops for quotes, Maaco in New Braunfels was a breath of fresh air. Randy was kind, professional, informed, and awesome to work with. First time car body shop experience, it is definitely a bad decision to choose Maaco, no more. If you unfortunately chose this place to fix your car,1) Be careful to check everywhere of your car body when picking up, dont be surprised to find many bad paintings and ask for redo, and dont expect the redo will be perfect. (Maybe all the body shops like that?)2) If your car has advanced feature, dont be surprised if it is not working after the repair, and dont expect the problem will be checked due to lack of knowledge. You will be simply referred to car dealer first, then you will be told the problem is not related to the area repaired, at the end, the story is totally changed, telling you the problem happens after your pick up. Very Good Job!

Pride of workmanship and customer service is everywhere in this shop. Front office was great to work with as they explained everything and provided great updates. Guys in the shop repaired my front end damage perfectly in the cleanest body shop Ive ever seen, delivered all shined up and really happy to advise anyone to take their repairs to these folks.

Pros:*Customer service was very good, Talked me through all the options I had in repairing and painting my vehicle.*Im military so I got a 20% Discount.*Shop was very clean and presentable.*Price range wasnt to bad for the work I had done and included a warranty*They Cleaned and vacuumed the inside of my car as well*I had a rust spot about the size of 5 x 5 that they removedCons:* When I picked up my car the gas door wouldnt close all the way* Some of my side moldings had broken clips so they didnt stay on my car correctly. also no one informed me of this, I had to find out myself while driving home because they almost fell off the car*I was told they would paint under my hood as well. They did not.*There are a few spots about an inch and a half wide on my driver side door that look they used to much paint and just let it run.All in all Im happy with the work, Car looks a lot better than it did before. Im giving 3 stars because for the paint plan I choose and the money spent I figured the outcome would be a little better.

I just had my Toyota Tacoma completely repainted. It had plenty of scars and bruises from 10 years on the road. Roof was getting rusty and the hood was peeling. I shopped around a bit and after reading reviews and looking at some of their work I decided to have them do the job. The estimate was very easy on the wallet considering it was a complete paint job with some body work involved. Customer service is top notch. Told me 7-8 days to complete the work and it took 7 days. Our antenna was broken after going through a carwash in town, the carwash put us in touch with Maaco and Jess, the person who helped us out has been phenomenal. Shes been patient, kind, and very informative. She reached out to the dealership to find options for us and kept us informed throughout the process. Once we brought the car in, it took about 2.5 hours and the car was ready. They even washed it for us, which was a nice surprise! If we ever have any other car needs, we know where well be going. I have never been so impressed by a body shop as I am with Maaco in New Braunfels. They did a custom paint job on my car and did a spectacular job. From the color, clear coat and decals, everything was overseen by Randy and he did a great job. Randy treated me like family through out the process. This is the second car I have painted by them. They are so good that my brother may drive his car down from Dallas to have it painted. I highly recommend Randy and Maaco in New Braunfels.

09/16/2019Being an “old school” guy I was somewhat hesitant about going to Macco to have some repair done to my classic 1965 Impala. I had a multi-thousand-dollar complete job done at a small local paint and body shop. For years later (only driven 1805 miles and always garaged) I had a lot of places that showed up as surface bubbles.I arrived at Macco and was immediately greeted by estimator, Randy Mccue, who was very professional. They were to paint a new hood I was having delivered and repair some rust coming through the sides on either side of the hood and to blend the paint over the sides. Not a pressure guy and I came away confident in my choice.When the hood was delivered the driver dropped it and left it outside with out letting them know of any damage. Vendor would not accept responsibility, buy Randy offered to repair it at a low cost if I wanted to keep it.Through this whole process I had the opportunity to meet the owner of the New Braunfels Macco, Stan Piernick, a very knowledgeable and fair person. Although this Macco is only three years old, it was obvious to me he has years of experience.Stan sent me pictures of 13 other places where there was similar damage starting to come through. In order to make sure I would be getting the work done that I wanted he offered for me to come in and go over the car with him. Which I did. He said if any of the places were not coming from the metal (chemical reaction between the layers) the cost would be reduce. As it ended the original estimate was reduced by over 25% of the original.There work is FIRST CLASS. I recommend them for any job.John Moore

I went there on a Saturday for an estimate on a rental car, in case I needed it. The young man, Randy, was very professional and knowledgeable. I was equally impressed with the conditions of the shop and facility. I have seen other body shops that were filthy and cluttered! Not so with this body shop, and they were actively working.

I have had two recent experiences with Maaco in New Braunfels.Our older but still in great mechanical shape Expedition had some faded clearcoat on the hood and the top. We had Maaco New Braunfels sand and repaint it and it looks 18 years younger!We had another car with faded headlamps. Instead of replacing them at about $300/each, we opted to have Maaco New Braunfels do a polish restoration on them. They look new!Jess and Randy gave us great service. They are very personable and really make you feel like youre doing business with a neighbor. Maaco may be a franchise, but they treat you like family. We couldt be happier to find this kind of quality work and service at a reasonable price right here in New Braunfels.

2300$ for them to paint over scratches and do the worst prep work I have ever seen. The more I walk around my truck and look at the more disappointed I am. Ive done better.paint jobs in my gravel driveway with rattle cans.You might as well pay for the 400$ paint job, cause its going to be horrible no matter what. I would not use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. These 4 and 5 star reviews are fake as hell. I wish I could post pictures.....its horrible. Dont waste your time. And I paid them to work the panels tga t still have scratches under the new paint. Dont be fooled by these reviews like I was. Youd be better of paying a crackhead to paint it in your yard. And it took almost 3 weeks for it to look like it was painted in 3 days....Reply... after 2 tries, I have zero confidence that yall could ever make it right. I will just be without my truck for weeks if not months. I would rather take it as a loss and not give your guys the opportunity to cause more problems. Do yall pay for tgose 4 and 5 star reviews??

My 14 yr old red Mustang convertible was in very sad shape. The clear coat was peeling and the red pigment had oxydized.It also needed a little body work.I was told up front that they may not be able to clear up the headlight covers. They did a much better job than we did with those DIY kits we purchased.I feel they did an excellent job and I am excited to have my beautiful red car back.

Part of the bumper they fixed started falling off. When I took it back in they said they would call us back when the parts were in and never did. They are terrible. Just save yourself the trouble

Ive got a 2001 FORD RANGER and it had some serious fading to the roof and hood with clear coat pealing. It looked really bad and then there was the typical scratches associated with a 17 year old vehicle. Wanted to get it taken care of before any rust began to show...thats when serious problems could start.Did some research with YOUTUBE videos on different paint shops and testimonials on how people felt about the after of getting their cars painted. Some were positive and some were not so much and some disappointing. Even went to a shop to see what could be done and was told 2000 for the roof and hood alone and 4000 for the entire truck. A bit steep I thought, but needed at reference point.Finally decided to go with MAACO. But not just any MACCO. Some reviews were and half and half and some location(s) were a bit far to travel. Then I came across MAACO of NEW BRAUNFELS. All positive reviews, so I made an appointment for an estimate.Randy was informative and got the estimate under what was quoted to me from another shop...and thats what I ended up paying. No additional fees, etc. Took about 2 weeks. Was a little nervous about what to find when all was said and done. But when I picked up my truck, I was WOWED by the transformation. I am very pleased with the outcome. Shines like new money. A good crew there at MAACO - NEW BRAUNFELS.The research paid off. Believe the reviews on their website.
