I visited here for the first time and had a great experience! The staff, especially John, was very knowledgeable and was able to help me with my needs in a no pressure environment. This will definitely be my go to Verizon store whenever I need assistance.
Not a great experience this time, usually they are outstanding but not so much on this trip.I went in to ask a question that would have taken about two minutes to answer.When I walked in the door I was immediately asked what I was there for and for my number.I gave them my number and was told there was a 45 minute wait and to try back later.I then called Verizon and was told that there was a 4 minute wait to speak with a representative, I hung up after 15 minutes on hold.Maybe its time to go see Lilly at AT&T.
The minute no the second you walk in the door someone greets you and ask you what can they help you with today.they assign a salesperson to you.5 min later as we seat in a comfortable waiting area our tech is there and problem solving my phone .thankful it was only a minor issue.they up date you on new products with no pressure . We organized establishment.

Im a Verizon customer through my mother account. I wanted my fiance to leave T-Mobile and join Verizon so that I could transfer my line into her account. Clinton was the person that helped us. He pretty much told me that what Verizon told us online was false. He also seemed bother with the questions I was asking. My fiance was looking into getting the note 10+ and I wanted to transfer my note 9. Clinton told us that we will have to pay the remaining balance on the note 9 before transferring the line. I still owed $500 on the Note 9. We left frustrated from this store and went to Verizon in West Hartford where I bought the Note 10 plus and they were able to release my note 9 for my mother account and transfer it into my fiance new account. They also took their time and answered every question we had and helped us swapped numbers so that I end up with the Note 10 plus. I guess this was very puzzling for Clinton. Im happy to say that we are now Verizon customer but no thanks to Clinton. If you guys are looking to buy a phone dont waste your time here head over to 740 N Main St, West Hartford, CT 06117. Note 10 plus is a great!!!! Phone.... probably the best phone out!
No waiting. We were greeted and assisted by KAYLA our sales associate. She was a true professional. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about her products, but she was also able to help my friends resolve several issues with both the phone that was going to be replaced, and also with his wifes phone. KAYLA was warm, friendly, and very, very patient. Her knowledge of product and problem solving, is very unique in todays no-customer service attitude.My friends, and I, left as extremely satisfied customers.I strongly recommend this Verizon store.

They sold my parents a mobile hotspot and added $10 a month to their plan. My parents have zero need and didnt even know what it was until I explained it to them. They were convinced that they needed it and they were taken advantage of.
What a great experience, the staff is great from the manager to all the employees. Remelo was absoloutly the best sales associate I have ever dealt with. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable . They made sure that all of our needs were met and we understood everything before we left the store. My wife and I had our young daughter with us and they made sure she was happy and entertained. Remelo and Staff when you see us pull up with the grey Explorer saying hi to people standing outside lol remmeber to run out and say hi. Great Job guys!
The worse experience ever, the sales person was terrible was not able to set up my phone properly, claimed that the phone could be charged wireless with current charger. Management was supposed to contact me, never did.

My wife and I visited yesterday to upgrade both phones. We were not looking forward to this due to the bad experience we had 4 years ago at another store. We were pleasantly surprised at the great experience we had. Kayla treated us very well. She was very poised, professional and experienced.......and AWESOME!I would highly recommend visiting her for your wireless needs.
Went to get a new phone and they didn’t have any in stock, but that’s okay because we decided to ship it as it is “two-day shipping.” Theoretically, it should’ve been here today as we ordered it two days ago but what they actually meant is that whenever it “ships” it will arrive two days form that date. When I has asked the verizon worker who was helping us they said I would have it in two days which of course was not correct. It is extremely frustrating and absurd how they purposefully mislead you and are not truthful with you.
I have bought two phone from them as a promotion on 08/24/2019, the part of the deal was a gift card / credit $600.00 for switching two lines from AT&T . Beside talking to them several times, that include two managers from the store, the business specialist from Wallingfort Ct, Pamela and calling the main number talking to representative all I got was empty promises . At first they said I have to wait 30 days, then 60 days because the system is slow, then that there was mistake and wait another month and half ! Nothing has been done as of today 02/09/2020, I have received no penny!!!! This is very unprofessional, it is as low as it gets!!!! I am not asking you to stay away from Verizon but run away as fast as you can . They simply do not deserve our hard money !!!!! Period!!!
The place is clean and they have lots of devices and accessories that you can chose from For my experience they have a sign outside that says to wait there for assistance but they were not paying attention I ended up going inside and thats when I got notice They dont take your payment you have to do it throught a computer (kiosk) mind as well if you can pay it through the phone its better also if you buy a device in one store the other store dont know anything about it I ended up paying for a device twice and the guy that noticed me told me they couldnt help me with that but to go to the other store and ask for a refund I which who ever goes there a better yet experience

Nothing is for free. Everything they offer you to buy for something in return is not true. You most likely qualify for a better plan, but they use that to leverage you in getting a tablet or a connected device. And anything you get comes with huge activation fees. Be careful on what you do and how you do business
A little over a month ago I was going to cancel my contract with Verizon after over 20 years with them. I was disgusted with the 800 customer service reps, they did not care about us and showed it over and over again. We originally upgraded to a business account and were sold on certain device sales and software to improve our business. Where I went wrong was not going into our local store and speaking with someone directly. I was at my wits end with being wrongfully overcharged along with getting nowhere everytime I called 800 customer service. Once I found Pam (and Cliff), she turned everything around for us. She researched everything, found the errors, corrected them and had made it possible to change my mind. Its makes a huge difference from just calling the 800 number and going to speak with someone in a local branch. They care and are willing to listen and work with me. After arguing with supervisors and management over the last 8 months, Pam has changed my mind and we have invested more in Verizon. Which I honestly did not think Id ever do. I couldnt wait till we had the chance to cancel when these issues all started. We are so happy we found Pam to help us sort this all out and build our trust in Verizon again. Thanks Pam!
Received a refurbished phone to replace broken one... determined that they couldnt fix after 4 days of trying everything. Then it takes 3 days to get a refurbished phone that was worse than the one that it was replacing. Upper management was supposed to call me.... They didnt. Looking elsewhere to do business after a number of years. Service at Verizon has deteriorated over the years. What happened to being accountable?

The folks here really know their stuff. Extremely friendly and courteous. They will even hold the door open for you when you enter. I have experienced some of the best customer service at this location. Highly recommend this Verizon store.

One month ago Im buy note10 5g they say one buy get one free and then 15-17 I pick up the phone .one is 5g one is just note 10 ..so I talk to him .he said i dont remember and we dont have this plan...but the problem is he open the order line..and then more changed. He never talk me u need what number .u need more line ..I complaint. He sad not the conmiucation..something something...crazy place here and liars people. this place...dont forget if u come there u need recordings voice on...u need recordings voice on..

I had the worst experience. I was sold a post paid contract that isnt compatible with my phone. 1.5 hours it took for them to realize why it wouldnt work. Then they informed me that there is a promotion where if I trade in the phone I have I it will take $200 off a iPhone 6. I said I would do that as long as I can pay cash for it, they informed me that was fine. After spending 2 hours there I didnt have time to buy a new phone so I said I would come back tomorrow. Went back the next day to be informed that the promotion is only applicable if paid monthly. Annoying but I agreed to that. Sat down with the advisor and then he realizes that my phone (iPhone 5) was not in the promotion for trade in. At that point I was furious. I asked them to cancel the contract and I would never go with Verizon again. I was lied to, miss sold a contract and had my time completely wasted. And after all that I get a bill for $89 a few days later for a contract I couldnt even use!!! Rang Verizon to get this reversed. Another 30 minutes of my time. Went to T-Mobile, they provided me with a compatible sim in a quarter of the time!!! Absolutely furious with this experience and will not be recommending to anyone.

Buying a new phone for $1000 plus an accessories bundle for extra $100 plus additional charging cords. Salesman was great but informed me his GM would not waive the $35 activation fee.Been with Verizon 15yrs and this would have been the 2nd new phone in 2 weeks I was buying for my family and to add insult to injury, the GM told the salesman to tell me go to another store if I want to get it waived.Horrible service and business. I should have expected it as I when I arrived another customer came out furious. Now I Cant wait to move my whole family off Verizon.

I had a good experience at this store getting an new phone, that came with a “free” projector. However, the aftermath was about a month long annoyance. The free projector was in the form of a visa gift card for $100 and an accessory credit for $200. I had to go to the store at least 4 times and call at least 5, leaving messages that were never returned, in order to make the projector actually free. Nightmare, horrible follow up service... recently moved to the area and thought this was my new store. I hope to never have to deal with this store again.

I like Verizon. I dont like the customer service at their Newington, CT store on the Berlin Turnpike. I bought a new phone there and I asked the girl to help me activate it. She said it was easy and that I could do it at home. So I go home and run into problems. I call the Verizon customer service number and the gentleman on the other end was able to help me activate my phone. I explained to him my experience at the Newington store and he explained that the girl should have helped me instead of sending me on my way.

Great customer service, BUT...Mika, the representative that helped me started texting me on his personal phone after I had to give him my number for him to service my account in the store. Him and his coworker Zach have been sending me pictures of themselves and trying to get me to talk to Zach since last night when i was there. Mika is even married! First time meeting these people. As far as I know, its not Verizons policy to let representatives steal customers numbers to flirt with them. Its not like i gave him my number for any other reason! Quite the job for a guy desperate for girls phone numbers!!!

My family had five star experience with Yamil at Verizon of Newington today. Yamil was completely transparent and accurate with the information he provided us and he was very respectful of our time. We were able to add a line and device to our plan in only 20 minutes, and Yamil also helped us save over $240.00 per year! Big thanks to Yamil and the staff at Verizon of Newington.

My wife and I met Mika on a weekday. Mika knew we had a tight schedule so he went right to work explaining all the new features for our new phones. Outstanding Customer Service! We upgraded our phones but he explained the benefits of certain phones. Really enjoyed working with him. Then, in the afternoon I had to meet with Estefania. She was basically a female version of Mika. Very knowledgeable and great customer service skills. About a year ago, I went to the same store and did not have a good experience, but this time, Mika and Estefania more than made up for that experience. Congrats, job well done!

Some of the staff is friendly, and some of them come off as if helping you is the last thing they want to do. If I had to mention one thing, it’s to be wary if you are either ESL person or not familiar with tech. I overheard one worker with an older woman who had an iPhone and either damaged or lost it and wanted her information from it and it was obvious this lady had no idea about iCloud or how to retrieve that stuff and the way the worker was speaking to her was so poor and overly complex and confusing, I could’ve explained in simpler terms to the woman in 2 minutes. But why I say be wary is because from personal visits from my ESL father or mother, the workers are so sneaky about throwing in additional features and charges without an English speaker even being aware. One time I waited 3 hours for an exchange during a promo bogo event because the workers messed up the exchange which made me ineligible for the promo and then they didn’t know what to do to get it back, and while I waited no one even apologized for the wait time, which made me late to a wake.... While I waited they ignored my presence. From personal experiences on multiple occasions the workers also failed to mention the fine line specifics of certain promos and purchases, even when they had the opportunity to make the consumer aware that by doing something such as paying in full for a device it would make them ineligible for a promo, while still telling them that they would be eligible. I don’t know, anytime I’m there or a family member goes there it just feels extremely dishonest between the failure to mention information and the brushed over add ons that no one asks for.
Scott was very helpful with a few questions I had on my phone that was very slow he took care of the problem will come see him again if I have any issues very knowledgeable!
