Keith allowed me to wander the showroom without pressure. He was able to narrow down my options when I was ready to discuss what I wanted. The process of picking chair, fabric, options and placing the order was painless. Very pleased with the process.Chair is to arrive next year, which is no reflection on my store experience. It seems to be the new normal for furniture orders everywhere.

Awful experience, after waiting five months for my sofa it came not only defective but also it came with a different style. They folded the fabric on every corner which is not what they have on display or I ordered. After a month they finally fix the loose fabric defect but now Im stock with a design I didnt order. They told me lets take care of the loose fabric first but now they wont fix the rest or exchange it. I dont recommend this store in newington ct to anyone.

Sales associate, Chelsea Panek, was extremely helpful. Made suggestions once I explained what I was looking for in comfort and style. Helped with fabric and rug selections that were on spot with the color scheme of my living room. When I called back the next day with concerns about the length of the sofa fitting through my front door, she made arrangements for Keith to come out to my house and confirm the sofa would fit. Keith brought all the fabric swatches so I could see them in my living room. It was a great experience. Cant wait to get my new sofa, chair and rug.

We had a wonderful experience with our visit to the showroom. The staff was very helpful and extremely pleasant. We enjoyed wandering through the showroom viewing new styles and classic furniture. Lazy Boy just doesn’t disappoint .....our experience was as good as my first time experience...Chelsea is an exceptional sales person who is so well informed & passes her knowledge on to her customers! We were deciding between two sofas ...reclining...Chelsea was able to not only explain the difference in the cushions & how they were made but also advised on which would suit us best with our health & skeletal needs! My husband has a bad shoulder & my back is not good! We needed something firm yet comfortable ! Our present sofa was not old but extremely unsuited to our declining age! Chelsea did her best to get the sofa out to us just as soon as she could! Chelsea made our experience not only pleasant but also a learning experience ...as she shared her knowledge with her product with us!

I do not recommend buying any furniture at this location or with La-Z-Boy in general. I ordered a couch, rugs, and FOUR ottomans. The order was delayed due to covid, so it took 6-months for delivery. That was explained at the start of the order, and we were ok with that delay. What we were not ok with was everything that happened afterwards:- We were never kept updated on our order. Not a single communication about potential delivery date until one week before they wanted to schedule delivery. Thats 6 months after a $12,000 order with no communication at all except a daily email blast with sales going on.-When scheduling delivery, we were told one of the ottomans was defective, and would not be delivered so they could address the issue.- Delivery of the other 3 ottomans showed that they were not assembled correctly, and every one had bent legs. Luckily, it was something I could fix on my own, but all three ottomans still do not have perfectly straight legs.- We are now 6-weeks post-delivery and there has been absolutely no communication at all about the 4th ottoman. I have now paid for something that was never delivered, and is just completely missing.The sad part is that the people in the store were very nice, but Ive now paid for 3 defective products and one that was never delivered. La-Z-Boy corporate has said there is nothing they can do, because it is a store issue. The store has done nothing. Avoid going through this headache.

Went into La-Z-Boy last weekend when it was super packed and Sarah was able to help us between 5 other customers. Her service was great and we plan on coming back this weekend to purchase. The showroom was laid out very nicely and easy to find everything we were looking for. It is well appointed and obviously has a decorators touch.Our sales professional Chelsea was extremely helpful and courteous.She was also very knowledgeable of all the furniture we were interested in and very efficient in finding additional information for us including those itemswith a short leas time.We definitely recommend visiting there and working with Chelsea.

We ordered our Lazyboy recliner in Dec 2020. They told us we would get in in April. Well, when they delivered it on March 15th we were thrilled. The delivery process was smooth, we knew in the day if delivery exactly where iur truck was until it arrived at our door . They brought it and we were able to enjoy it ever since. I would recommend lazyboy anytime. This is our third recliner in 15 years.

I live in Floridaand needed a sofa for my condo in Connecticut. Could not order from a Florida store. Called the Newington Ct store and completed the transaction in 10 minutes. Sarah was knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Love the sofa, love the fabric. A four to six month wait because of COVID, but well worth the wait. Would go back for any other furniture needs!

The La-Z-Boy product has been a mainstay in my life - my parents and grandparents had them as far back as the late’50s. My parents had theirs reupholstered at least twice before they passed in the 80’s.My husband ( we) has had at least 5 recliners in our 45 years of marriage, but never purchased a La-Z-Boy. Finally, 5 years ago I purchased a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner- my gift to myself for my 60th birthday. I don’t need to tell you what a difference it has made for me. Now, five years later my husband’s health has declined, and his no-name ( large furniture chain) recliner is falling apart.Yesterday, fueled by a urgent need to replace the aging recliner to accommodate new medical needs my husband we walked into the L-B store. ( thanks for the print ad in our newspaper) We were met immediately by Sarah, we told her the features he wanted. The first chair he sat in (to catch his breath) was a perfect match, but seemingly way out of our price point at $1899.00 . He tried a few others, but he kept going back to the first one. We explained the urgency to take delivery ASAP for my husband’s medical needs and our strained finances due to Covid ( job loss). Which It turns out was on clearance but still a big stretch. Sarah was so helpful. We paid cash in the amount we had budgeted, and Sarah helped us to finance the remainder for an amount we could afford. I was able to take the chair home the same day. My husband had a comfortable night and was able to breath well in that wonderful chair .La-Z-Boy products’ physical quality speaks for itself. Customer service, product warranty, extended care plans and financing options are the unsung features that so many consumers are unaware of and or don’t take into consideration when making purchases.Sign me : laZBoy Lifer!

Staff very helpful, patient at Newington location. To be honest, I have always wanted a La-Z-Boy chair, and am finally waiting to receive it. Wife wanted a sofa to match. Disappointed that you cannot get the same color of leather on different furniture models. Thats to say, on one model, you can get colors X, Y, and Z, but on a different model, Q, R, and S. Seems like for the price you should be able to get everything to match (regardless of model). Wife was happy with her (free) gift. Also, swatches, while plentiful, may or may not be available. If not, they shouldnt be on display. Just my opinion.

Awful experience. We visited this store a few times, dealing with a couple sale reps. When we decided to go ahead with the purchase as the sale price was decent, shaun gave us one total price. Less then 15 minutes later the price went up several hundred dollars. When questioned about this, Chelsea said the sale price listed on the specific couch is not for that same specific couch and that Shaun misspoke and they wont honor his price?? So, misleading advertising, bait and switch and lying. Not worth the hassle. If you shop here, dont trust the prices listed on the couch, they wont honor those - be sure to get the prices for furniture in writing or recording so they dont waste your time as well.

I am so upset! We ordered a sofa and recliner in September and we’re told it would be in by the end of October or the beginning of November. I believed them.I just got off the phone with Chelsea who told me that nobody is guaranteed their furniture before, at least 16 weeks. She then said that she can email something to prove it.I can tell you I wouldn’t have bought it if I thought it was going to take 16 weeks for delivery.I was basically called a liar and then she told me we were in a world wide pandemic. 😡When I lost my temper...she hung up on me.This is “customer service”. I will never purchase there again.Apparently we will be sitting on the floor this Christmas. Yay.

On October 24th 2020 I ordered a Recliner from Lazy Boy because I wanted a good quality chair. I was told it would take 4-6nweeks to be delivered, as of today January 9th 2021 I have not received my recliner or heard from Lazy Boy as to when I would be receiving it. NOT GOOD Business..Timothy Wood

Within the past week, we purchased a sectional for our family room at La-Z-Boy Furniture on the Berlin Turnpike. It has already been delivered and has the same excellent quality as the queen sleeper sofa we purchased earlier. Our salesperson greeted us warmly, led us to where sectionals could be found, gave us a brief overview, and left us so that we could explore on our own ( something we have really appreciated during both our visits). She kept us in view at all times and was immediately ready to answer any questions we had once we decided on our purchase. As with our first purchase, a delivery time was made and confirmed. This time around, though, the delivery was moved up because of inclement weather. The sectional arrived in durable protective bags and was placed where we wanted it with exceptional care. The delivery men waited while we checked each section and took the time to answer any questions we had. One of the best parts of this delivery may have been the price match that occurred within 24 hours of delivery. We called the store and told them that we had received an e-mail that a special free delivery promotion was mentioned and asked if we would qualify retroactively. Within a very short time we received an e-mail from Kelly saying that a price match would be made. So far, we are batting 1.000 in our relationship with La-Z-Boy on the Berlin Turnpike and it will continue to be our first choice when shopping for our next piece of furniture.

Sarah was the reason we made our purchase. She went above and beyond to make us happy and satisfied customers! I was looking for a small sized power lift wall hugger recliner for my 96 year old Mother. I had gone to numerous furniture and medical supply stores and looked online for days. Small recliners are hard to find in stock. A big factor in my decision to purchase a couch from here was the staff was willing to work with what I was looking for (I get that my shopping style is probably a bit different than most). I found similar options at similar prices at other stores but just found your staff much more enjoyable to deal with. They also took the time to figure out why I had the opinions I had which help them find me something that was exactly what I was looking for.

We are a family of 5 in need of a new couch and love seat. We brought our 13 and 10 year old daughters along with our 2 1/2 year old son. The process was easy, the options were explained quickly. We havent gotten the couch and love seat yet but we are excited .Was a positive experience so far, a big draw on pulling is into the store was that we would be buying furniture made in the USA.

I stopped in to see if they had a recliner with wooden arms. Was helped by a very nice associate named Chelsea. I took info & picture to show my husband. A couple days later I received a hand written note from Chelsea thanking me for coming in and offering any assistance in the future. I went back and was welcomed once again by Chelsea and we completed our transaction. Now Im just waiting for delivery.

Choosing a new sofa or sectional was a joy and easy at La-Z Boy in Newington Ct. The staff was helpful but not overwhelming. We haven’t purchased a new sofa in 25+ years so it was kind of a big deal to go shopping for it. Kelly, the designer, was available and made time to come that evening to be sure what we had selected would fit. It was a good thing she did as she encouraged us to purchase one more section to make the whole unit look better in our space. Kelly was fabulous, made son good suggestions and measured everything for future design questions and options. We are excited to see how it all looks! Oh and the Columbus Day sale sealed the deal!

Great that the employees dont make commission so dont attack you when shopping. Thats not to say they werent attentive, they were. A plus for this company is the customization offered. We have been shopping for a living room set for months with no luck because of our specific needs. The customization is what really set them apart.

Everything was great. They have the most comfortable man chairs ever. It is literally like placing you butt on a cloud made of the breath of angels. I tend to fall asleep in my chair and I dream of going to lazyboy and buying more chairs
