This was my first time here. I came in for a brazilian, and Sam made me aware that it would be a bit of a difficult process because of how long it had been since my last wax. However, she made it as painless as possible, made sure I was okay very often, and was so kind and understanding. She also made me feel so comfortable and was really funny. She was incredible and did a great job!

I got my first Brazilian wax done here a couple weeks ago. Riley was at the door and she was very kind and hospitable. She even looked up an acne medication Im on to make sure there wouldnt be any adverse reactions to the wax. Jade did the wax and she made me feel so comfortable. Obviously, the wax hurt, but Im sure she made it the least painful it couldve been. And for an awkward situation, she made it fun and easy. Definitely recommend this location.

The employees themselves are very kind and helpful, I received a wax and was pleased with my experience. I returned, got the wax pass (knowing (well…. thinking) I could cancel within the 30 days without a fee. After my second wax (on 5/25) I realized it wasn’t for me and decided to call to cancel my pass on 6/16. I spoke with a woman on the phone who said that it was no problem and I’d receive a refund for the remainder of the payment of my most recent wax and future payments would be cancelled. On 6/26 I was charged again for another payment. I called to let them know this was a mistake, they said there was nothing they could do but give me “93.00 of store credit”. Of which, I had no use for at this point. After having to explain myself multiple times, they finally sent me on to talk with someone higher up who charged me a fee for “late cancellation”… although I cancelled within the 30 days. She did give me the remaining money back. Long story short, kind of seems like a scam to me and they care more about getting money out of their customers than a quality experience. 0/10, do not recommend. Also! If you do decide to cancel, MAKE SURE you get a physical copy of the cancellation, don’t trust their word over the phone.

Sammie/Sammy (sorry don’t know spelling) did a fantastic Brazilian wax. Super comfortable and professional. Probably the least painful one I’ve had and it’s been over a year since I’ve been in!

I scheduled an appointment for 1pm. I wanted the lady I usually went to but she was on maternity leave so I got booked with someone else and she was great she talked and made me feel comfortable. she did a great job I told her that I had been growing my brows out a lil to make them look fuller and she took that into consideration🥰 they also talked me into getting a pass 🤣 but now I can keep up with my brows again. I love this location have been going for about 2 years and will continue to go.

I happened to speak with my co worker about my bad experience at this location(Newport) and not surprisingly she too also had a story about a bad experience at this location. In her story it was her(my co workers)mistake but she explained how they made it right. In my situation(receptionist mistake) they didn’t do a single thing. Yes my co worker is a white and I am black. Thankfully through my efforts they actually DO have people higher up who did make it right. Women of color think twice before visiting this location. I’ll continue my services elsewhere because the wax specialist are actually kind. 0 stars

I’ve been coming here for a few months and I consistently have a lovely experience. They run on time, are very efficient start to finish, and I’m so impressed with the waxers. Ashley in particular is a gem. She is so friendly, SO quick, and is very professional. The front desk staff are very kind and pleasant to work with as well! I’m very happy I decided to try this EWC and will keep coming back.

I went for a Brazilian wax and had Ashley, she was great. Talked me thru the process(I was a newbie) made the experience great. We laughed and talked made me feel super comfortable. Definitely recommend her! Will be back for sure!

Was my first time ever getting a Brazilian wax and a full leg wax. I had a girl named Megan do my wax. She made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. We talked the entire time, almost forgot I was getting waxed lol. I am happy with the results and will most likely be back. Did I mention Im almost 38 weeks pregnant? Amazing job, very professional and clean place!

I had such a wonderful experience at the Newport location! I had Siarra to wax my eyebrows! She made sure I knew what products she was using and made sure the wax was the perfect temperature for me. She made my eyebrows look amazing and the customer service was so inviting. I highly recommend ❤️❤️❤️ I have found my new place to go get my eyebrows done right!!

Please do not waste your time here! I have never had such a bad experience at a waxing place before. The wax was so hot it burned over an inch of my face. She couldnt get the wax to harden so it just got slung everywhere. My lip looks like I touched it with a curling iron. Ive gone many times to the crest view office with no problem but Newport is a complete disaster.

Ashley B is the best! Been going to her for around 6 months now cant imagine seeing anyone else :)

I had a receipt for a product that didnt work and I was within the 30 day window to return it. They said the policy had changed the day before I tried to return this product. I bought it under the old policy and it should be honoured under the terms I bought it. They didnt care and no one has reached out to me to make it better, even though Ive called and asked for my money back. Dont buy their products and dont do business with people who dont care about customer service or honoring the policies they set.

Was super nervous because Im a guy and I never wax. Amber, the District Manager, was working and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. You could tell how good of a manger she is by how well this center is ran. Would recommend to any guy.

First time at this location and the service was great. Marcia does a fantastic job for all your waxing needs. She is fast, friendly, efficient, and it was nearly painless.

The waxers are friendly and make you feel comfortable but sometimes they do some sketchy things trying to make you buy their products. The last time I was there, the waxer just handed me a bottle of their serum while she walked me out after my waxing session, before getting billed. She was like “this is the serum I used on you” and just kept it on the billing desk. Didn’t ask me or anything. I was confused and was like is she giving me that product as a compliment or are they gonna bill me? I then told the billing person about it and she asked me “you are not gonna buy that?” A lot of other women probably bought it out of hesitation. I wish the staff didn’t do that.

Had to deal with the District Manager of the region, Amber, and she was AMAZING! She was super attentive to my needs and made sure I had the best experience possible. Would recommend this location to anyone!

This was my first bikini wax ever! Sierra is definitely a professional. I felt comfortable, she got every nook and crany! And im definitely coming back!

I am still waiting for a refund as well have reached out 3 times to this location and 2 times with corporate and nothing has been done. This is awful customer service, if they want to keep happy customers they need to stay in contact.

I had gabby. Atleast thats what I think her name was. She was very professional. Very personable and very talented. I got my whole back waxed in like 15 minutes. Super quick. It was my first time and she made it super comfortable. I got to see the stuff the came out so that was cool too. Was told it was half off for first time but something happened at the front desk that didnt make that happen but Im not too shook up about it. Highly recommend getting done by gabby. We talked the whole time and she made me seem like a tough guy since I didnt cry. Lol.

I am a firm believer in waxing over shaving. Ever tried your underarms or nose..? Don’t knock it ‘til you try it! You will smell things you never knew smelled and never worry about razor burn again!EWC has gentle, hard wax. No more strips leaving string in your hair. It hardens and it removed in one piece - not painful. I recommend if you have any sensitivity to hair removal.They offer packages that are available for purchase; per visit (never expire) or unlimited for the year. Depending on what you are looking for, they can accommodate. I’ve lived in different cities & travel often for work, I am able to visit other locations and use my passes as they are transferable within the company not the salon itself.Emilee is my waxer here in Newport. She is kind, gentle and we always have great conversation. I never feel rushed with her which can be a common experience elsewhere. Highly recommend!Your first wax is free! Give it a try!

Awesome customer service. I have received services from European Wax Centers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The only problem that I have experienced has been difficulty scheduling appointments exapecially hold times. I applaud the new management of this location for raising the expectations for professionals customer service.

The wax technician claimed she had been doing this for 7 years. She took you in and asked you to undresss right away with out here leaving the room. She was right and was rushing. She did not take the time properly apply the wax. She was not concerned about telling her story. When I told her the wax was too hot she said it will cool soon enough. WORST experience ever. I was bruised for about a week after that session.only reason I have 2 stars was the receptionist was very helpful.

Last time I came, I waited for an hour just for an eyebrow wax. The staff was excellent & gave me a coupon for a free eyebrow wax on my next visit. I came today & the receptionist told me that my coupon wasnt a real coupon & declined it. I wont be coming back.

I used to frequent the Crestview location but this location has much better hours and a friendlier staff. I drive from Erlanger after work to be seen here. I have been serviced by multiple people here and am always happy.

I have been coming here for 14 months, and during this time frame have had 8 different waxers. Almost every time when they call to remind me of my appointment, they tell me the waxer I was with was no longer with the company. Ive been pleased with the services about half the time. My most recent waxer was Amy, and I was pleased with her service; she said she has been there over a year, so hopefully Ill have her again from now on.

(I knew it couldn’t be this bad, a lot of women get it done and I have a high tolerance for pain...) so I decided to go to the place that only waxes!!! Yes Yas Yaasssss!!!! They had Megan see me.. it was soooo not that bad!!!She walked me thru everything, joked with me to make it more relaxed and like that I was done with no more pain then an eyebrow wax!!! I have been going to European Wax for a long time, usually Crestview Hills location, they have always been very good with exceptional customer service. Today I went to the Newport location and it was the worse experience I have ever had at a business. The girl who did my wax acted like she hated her job and was miserable even being there. She barely talked to me, didnt ask me how I would like my eyebrows shaped, she pulled the wax off so slow my eyes were watering. I know waxing doesnt feel great, but it is usually pretty painless. But this, this was the most pain I have ever felt from being waxed, it felt like she took a layer of my skin off with it. When she was done she handed me the mirror and said we were all done. Didnt even offer to fill them in, the Crestview Hills location would have never let you walk out without at least offering. I dont know if this is an isolated incident or just poor managment, but I will never come back to this location and I certaintly wouldnt reccomend anyone else to come here. Drive a little further down 275!!!!!

So I really dont ever leave reviews but this is absolutely necessary. The story is so embarrassing that Im not even using my real name. Sorry google. I went in some months back (December 2016, late review but Im still scarred for life) for a Brazilian and the aesthetician I was scheduled to see decided to see her mom before myself, so I was given another girl, not sure of her name but it had to have been her first day there. I want to mention that Ive had a wax almost every month for the last 5 years, so I know the process and very obviously what it feels like. This was the most awkwardly uncomfortable and painful experience EVER. She took me back into the room and didnt even leave me alone for a moment to change, so I had to drop my pants in front of a stranger. 🙈She was very obviously uncomfortable touching my area (Which, hello. Im not too fond of the idea of a stranger seeing my bits and certainly not touching them, its weird for me too.) because she was very odly spreading the wax around and covering more area than I was ever used to at once. When it came time for her to pull the wax off, she started lifting the edge and I realized she didnt intend to pull my skin taut, so I actually had to tell her to do it. And her idea of taut was putting light pressure on my adjacent skin with 2 fingers. (Again, its awkward for me too, but do it right, because you can seriously injure someone. And if you cant get over it, this clearly isnt the right job for you.) Point is she started ripping wax off and it was pulling insanely on my skin of course, it was breaking 70% of the time, and she kept having to apply wax to the areas that she had already attempted because the hair was not coming up. At one point, she had to actually go in with scissors and CUT the wax off of my area. Terrifying. After 45 minutes of pain and pulling I actually asked for it to be over. She at least left me alone in the room to put my pants back on. At checkout they asked if I wanted to buy one of their monthly plans... not a chance in hell. Once I got home to assess the damage, I was red and bruised and yep- still covered in hair- $75 with tip wasted, and yea I tipped the girl, only because I was too busy pretending I wasnt ready to run out screaming. And the girl had to be mortified too, bc something tells me they just threw her in there. Had to go to Ulta the next day to buy wax and DO the job myself. Never going back. I would highly suggest trying another location, maybe the dont have much experience giving Brazilians in KY bc theres not much around to get into a bathing suit for. Maybe Cincinnati locations are better.
