Visited this Walgreens on Monday to drop off a FedEx package. Upon arrival the cashier advised me I couldnt drop it off there without a label to scan. I also showed her how their location is on FedExs website for a QR scan label. She proceeded to have a manager come up to the front and asked her for assistance. This manager immediately wrote me off, didnt allow me to finish my sentence and just kept telling me no I need an actual shipping label (I dont have a printer). I then walked outside to make sure I wasnt reading things incorrectly on the scanner website and walked back in and wanted answers. This same manager again, didnt allow me to finish my sentence and grabbed the store manager. The store manager (a womans name who Ive forgotten) is the one who helped me. She listened and heard my requests and concerns and proceeded to deliver me the service that is advertised. I give this store an overall bad rating due to the fact that the previous manager was unnecessarily rude to me. It wasnt my fault that she didnt know how to do her job to the fullest and proceeded to embarrass me in front of other civilians. Ive been in the service industry for over 12 years and this is not how you treat customers. Businesses need to do better and set their staff up for success. Your business is here to serve the public and it shouldnt take 4 different attempts to be helped.
I’m in line behind 10 other customers at the pharmacy. The drive thru is closed due to staffing problems. The pharmacy now has reduced hours of operation because of staffing.After standing in line for 15 minutes I find out my Rx was not ready. They did not pull the Rx off the recorded line. It was called in 3 hours prior! They said it would take 30 minutes?
Do not print here. Every time I have printed something at this location they send me an email to come pick up my order and every time have either not attempted to print my order or “lost” it. Several occasions I have had to wait at the store for 30ish minutes waiting for them to figure out what they’ve done with my order. I always go back thinking that was a one time mistake. It’s not. Do not recommend trusting them with your photo needs.
A waste of time. should not be considered a western union location cause it does not work. when you explain that the kiosk does not work no help and absolutely pointless to act like you have a service when you dont.
Have been a loyal walgreens customer for 15 years... Not after dealing with the pharmacist at this location. I travel for work and recently had a couple prescriptions stolen. Was all but flat out accused of abusing my medication. ITS NOT EVEN AN OPIATE! refused my medication even though an early refill was noted on my refill. He said I would have to have my doctor call to approve the early refill even it already was.. GOODBYE FOREVER WALGREENS!!
On time for a vaccination at 10:45am and I’ve been waiting for an hour, then allowed someone with a later appointment to jump in front of queue. Staff is polite but careless about making you wait.
This pharmacy is the WORST. Takes over an hour to get your script.
I had a Covid test at this location, and after 5 days of not being contacted about results, I logged into the Aegis Lab website using the requisition number the pharmacist gave me. A pop up told me that my results were ready, but could not be viewed because of an error. After calling the pharmacy and getting past the robotic answering system that does not work, the pharmacist cut me off mid sentence saying we havent even sent your sample yet. I called the next day, and was greeted to stop calling us, we dont know where your Covid test is, call Aegis Lab.Once I got through to Aegis, they told me that the requisition number the pharmacist gave me did not match my name and birthdate. After giving me the correct number, they told me they could not confirm that my test results would match with the correct sample. Essentially, there was a possibility the pharmacist mixed up my sample with someone elses. Wanting the situation to be over, and suffering from symptoms--with nothing to show to my professors or my boss-- I received a test elsewhere. 20 days later and I was never contacted further by Aegis or Walgreens.I never leave google reviews, but it is important for Walgreens and their customers to know that there is a pharmacist working at this location who has flagrant disregard for public health and spoke down to me like a child. I would be happy to provide customer service with more information if contacted.
Got in and out just what I needed..Keep in mind it in fact gets busy but fir the most part its a good place to shop.
Out of my prescription for second time in 2 months. Very inconvenient for something that’s not a rare drug, and also not the first time this has happened for this location. Will finally move my RX needs elsewhere.
Seriously, rude and slow service. Several times I have ordered photos and recieved confirmation that it was at the store. However, when I went to pick up the order I was told they didnt have my photo order even after giving them the confirmation number, name, and confirmation of a ready order.... beyond frustrated... I finally gave up and left after 2 trips to the store. This has happened twice out of convince I kept trying. Lol. The pharmacy employees are nice but definitely understaffed.
Newly remodeled place with nice staff but dont expect the convenience of using Google pay. Even though its advertised as available it does not work so take your credit card with you.
This is the first time Ive heard of the Walgreens / Kroger Express concept, and I really like it!I was able to find everything I needed from a convenience store and get fresh fruit!I will definitely be back!!!

Rude cashiers, and lazy ...You can literally stand there for 10 minutes while theyre doing nothing but standing down at the other end, talking badly about other customers .Then theyre rude when they actually do finally decide to help..I was hoping this would change after kroger bought them, but they kept the same, rude cashiers .I will not be back ..
Do not use the Walgreens in Newport Ky they have no clue what they are doing. They have made mistakes before in billing telling me they dont cover a prescription one month then the next they do. Over a week ago I called to tell them my insurance had changed and gave them all the new information. The guy never said a word about them not taking the new insurance. Then I go to pick up my prescription and they tell me they dont take it so now I have no medication until I can speak with Kroger tomorrow. Worst pharmacy ever!!!!!

Walgreens is pretty much what you would expect it to be and more. Not only can you gets any medical prescriptions filled but you can look around a safe, clean, well maintained shop for any number of other items ranging from phone chargers to basic meal needs. They also have a nice refigeratored section.

Waited 2 hours for my pictures because the guy couldn’t figure out how to print them, he calls for help and they were printed all along. Someone came in and asked the manager where the fans were and the manager said they didn’t have any, but they did have some. I evened up showing the customer myself. Also the pictures were 10 cents each and I got 107 of them. That would be $10.70 and they tried to charge me $40 then they said they could knock it down to $14. Worst customer service ever.
The laziest creatures I’ve ever met my life. Literally have to beg to get help at the store. Just do your job.
Horrible service at the Newport location on Monmouth since Kroger was added. Long checkout lines, clueless cashiers, and I was even asked to place my shopping basket back after paying. The staff is all new and not as knowledgeable or friendly as the staff pre-Kroger. A few weeks ago on a busy Saturday night there was a long line, only one cashier, and he couldn’t find the photo order for the lady ahead of us even though she had a confirmation on her phone that her order was ready. After several minutes another cash register was finally opened and we paid and left. As we were leaving I saw that the first cashier found the lady’s photos. Not a fan of the long lines or the clueless and unfriendly staff.
This pharmacy often autocalls you with notifications of prescriptions that are ready to pick up, and when you arrive they act as if you are wrong and never could have received the call.This pharmacy will lie to your face and insist you picked up prescriptions already that you did not, when asked for proof they will mumble, blame your doctor and tell you to call them.This pharmacy will leave you without needed medications on the weekend without concern for your health due to incompetence in record keeping and in general.This pharmacy has caused my wife and I to move our business elsewhere and to never use another Walgreens.
Horrible customer service and the Pharmacy is a joke. They are never ready nor on time and they never have your insurance in their system (after you gave it to them every month). If you need anything from here just go to CVS.DONT COME HERE.
I’ve gone to this Walgreens for two years to buy items and to get my pictures developed. The last two times I’ve picked up photos, they’ve given me the wrong ones. (Someone else’s). This last time their “printer was down” and they were sent to Cincinnati unbenosted to me. My friend picks them up assuming he was given the correct ones and it’s someone else’s. $36 down the drain and I still have to go back to Cincinnati and pick them up. Ever been downtown on the weekend to find on street parking?? Not easy and not cheap! Not sure what’s going on the last month but you’ve lost a customer.
I just left there as I needed to print from my phone, we asked for help but no one came. They were not busy at that time. Thanks alot

Leela at the front register is RUDE. She raised her voice at me because I was about to put my basket on the counter she cleaned. She snatched it from my hand and then tossed my items on the counter. She clearly dislikes her job. She had an attitude the entire transaction. Then when the bags became stuck and I was trying not to rip the handles she informed all you have to do is pull Thanks Leela. I ended up leaving very upset and my bags had no handles. I pulled the bags off as quickly as possible and left before saying some very unpleasant things to Leela.
A pharmacist name karen treated me terrible.she even stated she worked third shift because she does not like dealing with customers.
Good store fast workers and a fast drug

The pharmacist there during the day with the glasses is very rude and unprofessional, he treats people very bad and has this holier than thou attitude. If you can help it go to Kroger pharmacy. Ive heard bad things from different people but never experienced it myself until today. He is giving this pharmacy a really bad rep.
Unfortunately the employees running the front desk arent the friendliest to customers. Every time I come here its the same experience.
Not everyone is an addict start treating people with respect. Ill be switching pharmacy.
The Pharmacy Tech I dealt with was very unprofessional and when asked why prescription had changed she shrugged her shoulders and acted as if my question was a bother and never suggested me to speak with pharmacist but will not allow one bad experience to mess up the other great experiences I have at Walgreens!
