Every single time I come to this store theyve moved something unnecessarily for reasons no sane individual could comprehend. One day the condiment aisle is near the salad dressing. Next day the condiment aisle is over in the liquor department. 90% of the time you come to this store they have a decent majority of it blocked off and under construction. Came in today and half of the deli, the bread aisles, etc were all blocked off by big walls and under some sort of construction that never improves the store. Yo top it off everything that I came for was sitting on the shelf 6 days expired. I will never be stepping foot in this store again. Im just over it.

Been shopping here around 40 years, closing staff are extremely rude, and will be reluctantly switching to meijers and sams. The produce quality has been declining over the years, and for some reason they enjoy wasting customers time by constantly rearranging item locations. Unless you like traveling the entire floor plan 3-4 times a visit hunting down items like its a treasure hunt. Dont bother asking employees, I got I have no idea, they keep rearranging things from two the last visit. If an item is on clearance or discounted its because its got a day left before its bad or in the case of meat its flavor is off or extra tough. Which is unfortunate, the meat department are the most professional of all the staff.

Have shopped here for many years but lately noticing some decline. They re-did gift cards and there is never any chick fillet in stock - they use to have a lot more rows. Using the fuel rewards is one of the main benefits at this Kroger but recently they have gone to being the most expensive gas in town and the first to jump and not come down much. Literally 30 cents cheaper everywhere else the last time I filled up. Just gave up on using remaining points for month and filled up at another gas station (Meijer) where it was cheaper than my 30 cents off and Sams is always the best price.

My review of this store used to be 5 stars. They simply refuse to clean up their act relative to their deli. Mind you, I have spoken to their staff and management.So perhaps this will work. Every single grocery store that serves hot food has their act together better than these people repeatedly for over a year. Rude workers. Excuses. People refusing to do their assigned tasks because they dont feel like it. Chicken out on display they refuse to sell because apparently they leave it out all day. Give it another week and do this on Yelp!

Ive been coming to this kroger for a long time and I can definitely see a very steep decline in quality of the quality of customer service and overall care of the store. Most of the time its absolutely filthy and the employees are extremely rude especially at the pharmacy and deli counter. I was just there yesterday and there were 4 employees standing behind the counter talking and standing around while there were multiple signs saying the deli counter was closed due to being short staffed. Pretty bad when you get better customer service at Walmart.

Im from California and wanted to send a friend some flowers who lived near this Kroger. Its difficult trying to send something like flowers when you dont see exactly whats being sent, or the condition theyll be in once theyre delivered. Lisa at the flower department was so helpful and the flowers arrived quickly and were beautiful. Thank you.

We were in the store at 10:30 pm on 4/19/2021. At 10:50 a woman got on the intercom and started to say the store closes in 10 minutes but instead said abruptly the store is closed which was 10 minutes early. She proceeded to come to the bread aisle and asked if we were done at 10:52 because the store was closed. We came to the front at 10:55 and I said the store closes at 11:00 she told us that she was trying to catch a bus. What really ticked us off was she just stood there and stared us down as we checked out. I’ve been going to Kroger for 36 years and I may stop shopping here. Unbelievable

In general, I like Kroger but this 5 star review is because of the marked down produce section. I haven’t been to Kroger in a while but when I went tonight there was a ton of marked down imperfect produce for $0.99! There were limes, halo oranges, onion, apples, potatoes, bananas, all sorts of things! I wish they would donate it to food pantries but this is so helpful to make sure everyone can afford fresh produce and limit food waste. I hope more stores follow this soon.

I get off work to go pick up a few quick groceries and as soon as I walk inside the building I’m greeted rudely with, “just so you know the store closes in 10 minutes.” This location’s hours say this store closes at 11 and it was 10:30 when I walked in. I was glared at and pressured to check out the entire time I was inside. Very unprofessional. If hours change it should be marked for customers to see before coming in.

Meds called in at 730 am still not filled at 145 I know they are busy

Update your card readers so I can pay with my phone! This is ridiculous you take out a bunch of registers for a new self check out area but not get your card readers up-to-date! Now that I forgot my wallet and didnt know till I got to the register I cant pay even though I could on my phone if I was anywhere else!

Employees are always friendly, and generally know the answers to any questions I may have. Ive never found an outdated product in this particular store, and that says a lot about the management. Great place to shop.

Went to buy plants for Mothers Day and the florist Lisa if course spoke to a lady not of color and didnt speak at all to me a woman of color told Jaime a supervisor abt it, of course he ignored the complaint if you cant greet every paying customer the same than why shop there 2021 and Krogers on college is not very culture friendly!

Erica D in the bakery did an outstanding job with a birthday cake I ordered. She came in on her time to discuss order and listened to my request. She went above and beyond. Not only was the cake and cupcakes delicious but they were decorated beautifully..Highly Recommend GREAT JOB ERICA

Great selection of quality grocery items. Only drawback is that the parking lot is too small, and the store, especially the checkout area is too congested at times.

Very clean. I found the store well organized that if you just wanted basics you could get them without having to run all over the store. Vegetables were fresh and nicely presented.

The staff is friendly and helpful, however, this store is way too small for the amount of customers they have. Same goes for the parking lot. I dread coming here because it seems to attract a lot of people with no manners who block the narrow aisles by just standing in the middle with their carts, or they barge past you without saying excuse me or sorry, and cut in line for the self-checkouts because they dont know how to form a line. I had heard that at one time they were planning on building a new Kroger in Normal, but that the plans got cancelled. Big mistake. They should have never wasted money renovating this store and spent their money on building a larger store in a better location.

Always friendly, helpful staff. generally competitive pricing. weekly very good specials throughout the store. produce is fresh and of nice variety. meat department very helpful and will cut or process meats as requested.

They used to have shopping cart shaped like cars that my nephews loved, but after an intense game of car crashing (where they run into all the shelves and each other as fast as they can) one of the cars broke i havent seen them around since. They also ran over a loaf of bread but i put it back where it came from. The claw machine took $5 from me and my nephew dint even get the toy dog. There mobility scooters are good enough. No limit on free samples:)

Great store, clean and easy to navigate. Rebecca in the deli department is the bomb dot com. She helped me pick the right size slices for several meats and cheeses, and even let me try some! Hey customer service was second to none and she had a great smile!

Unfortunately, they no longer price match. They are losing a 15 year customer over $1 off blueberries. Jewel and Schnucks still match.

A good grocery store. Kroger had planned to put a superstore in town, but that didnt happen, so we are left with its two old stores. The one down by Veterans Parkway is nice and has a good selection of items. The parking is not very good at all. Like that parking lot, the store is rather cramped in some of the main aisles. The people who work there are pretty nice. I dont go there too often anymore, mostly because of the difficult parking, but its still a place that serves the community adequately.

Love their health food section. All veggie or vegan products in one area. Makes my shopping simple.

Like the store, it has a nice, cozy feel. However, the ceiling is a little low and lighting a bit subdued. Realize it is an older property, though. Would like to see Kroger go ahead with plans to build a new store a bit farther east.

Good prices, great employees. However, this store has gone downhill FAST! Some associates are rude and unwilling to give honest information when you inquire. Been weighing options about a complete switch to HyVee, which will be happening starting today. Sorry Kroger.

Just shopped at the Normal,Kroger on College....Love this particular Kroger! Even my Pitbull would rather ride shotgun to that one!🐶Not only is it much bigger & cleaner, it is also has SO much more than the Bloomington Main St store. I can find EVERYTHING there! They also have the best prices/sales....They are displayed in a very visible way so that you dont miss out! BEST selection of organics,veggies & fruit for vegetarians/vegans at affordable prices....There meat LOOKS like it is good quality but Im a vegetarian, so cant comment on that department! Overall, this by far the best Kroger that Normal has to offer! Lots of coupons regularly in your mailbox & the cant get by without them fuel points. Be sure to catch the bonus double & triple fuel points items!

Stopped in to get some gift cards on the four times fuel points the cards I got was four different restaurants where Im going to eat at anyway the fuel points is a bonus my vehicle seems to always need fuel also picked up some lunch meat and apple pie checked out in the self-checkouts happy to see Scott was working the self checkouts one very helpful and knowledgeable Kroger employee Kroger is blessed to have such an employee like Scott

All grocery stores are busy on weekends, but I dashed in, retrieved less than five items from every corner of this store and checked out with a very nice cashier (Kadia), all accomplished in 12 minutes! It was around noon on a Sunday. Makes it seem like a neighborhood grocery store.

I love Kroger but the one on College since the renovation has cut back on brands of products. So often I cannot find a key item and must go to another store. They used to carry the items but needed the space to put home and garden items. Frustrating.

It took half an hour to check out. It was horrible - I will never shop at this stupid store ever again. The checkout computer locked up and the manager never apologized for my inconvenience. I understand that stuff happens, but at least pretend you care. Kroger just lost a long time customer. Shame on you.

Poor management, shelves are not stocked. Many of the items I stop to get are not available. Long lines at check out, many times have bag my own items.Will now go to Hy-Vee to do my shopping, has better service and store is cleaner and well stocked.

Just was here and bought $200 plus of groceries and package of watch batteries. Got home and no batteries. I called and received no apology. Drove all the way back, picked them up, again with no apology (two different employees) and got all the way home to find out they gave me the wrong ones!!!!! I called again, still no apology. I expressed my frustration with the poor customer service, the employee said, ”well I will let someone know”. Still no apology! I won’t be shopping at Kroger any longer. I’ve been a many year customer but there are a lot of other grocery stores in Bloomington/Normal!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees at this location are extremely rude and unprofessional. There is always an issue at this location. The other krogers in town are awesome and give you a great experience. Something is wrong with the kroger on college avenue, all the employees act like they hate their jobs and treat customers poorly. The products at this location are poorly maintained as well. Rotten produce, meat that looks like its been bad for some time. I definitely do not recommend this location.

Poor management and communication. Kroger is one of my favorite stores, I have been a shopper in more than one place that I have lived. However the management for Kroger on college leaves something to be desired. They regularly run out of stock of an item I buy regularly, so I have to call for a special order every week, otherwise there is nothing on the shelf. Week after week they seem to fail though, and its only getting worse. I will be told my order is available for pick up, will even call to confirm, but I show up no one has any idea what I am talking about. There is very little effort to right the wrong either. I have given them the benefit of the doubt, but they just keep failing to deliver. Very poor customer service on the part of the management.
