In this post-pandemic economic recession, Meijer does a really good job keeping the store clean and organized. The shelves are near empty but that is the same at most grocery stores so I cant fault them too much. The employees are decent, though I very rarely need help in a store so that doesnt really matter to me much.

I took over shipping for my family 20 years ago. Most grocery stores follow pretty much the same layout system - they are not exact but they are easy to identify quickly, finding frozen lemonade or peanut butter is usually just a glance at the aisle way marquees. Im not sure whats going on here but I wont be going back. They made a Schnucks shopper out of me.

I absolutely love this store! Everything is so well kept, easy to find and at great prices!I do have one issue Everytime I visit, however. Anytime I go to self scan there is an attendant, Carol B., who will stand there and watch every single movement I make. Shes walked up behind me and stood over my shoulder, moved things inside my cart and bags and continually stood over me and watched me while other customers needed her assistance. I always feel extremely uncomfortable in her presence

Just used UPS Store Q-Code drop off. Very busy. It would behoove you too designate and clearly marked with signage near entry for a place to put DROP OFFS 🤨

Nice store. Set up well. Just down the street from Walmart (Normal, on Greenbrier), but not as busy. Still plenty of parking available. Some things are kinda pricey. Produce is good. Shoes and clothing is seasonal. Not a lot of variety to choose from. Good store, has pharmacy.

They are competitive price wise in the area. They usually have great fruits and vegetables. Beef is high here, chicken and pork good deals. Except bacon. They offer value priced clothes and a range of health care items.

I got the best service. The meat prices was a good lord to high. I do love the scale with the produce and it print a tag. I enjoyed shopping there.

Be aware of strong prejudicm in this store. They will racially profile you for your skin color. I will never go back there

Took over an hour to checkout because meijer refuses to properly staff its store. Its not that people dont want to work anymore, they just dont want to work for pennies anymore. At least open all the self checkouts for christ sake. What a sad, sad sad joke. Pay your employees. The ones working dont deserve to be treated like this for how little you pay them. Do better. Get a grip. Read the room.

The past few times I’ve been there I have witnessed some very sick betta fish which I have taken home. The staff and managers are very kind about giving them for free. 2 passed away within 12 hours. The reason that I still give them 5 stars is that they care, but they do not have the time or resources to properly care for the fish. I would suggest they hire someone to work specifically in the fish department. An hour a day to do feedings, water changes, and medicate sick fish would be very beneficial. They also put a few females in an open tank which was awesome to see them out of the cups and swim around. I would also suggest putting plants or decor in there with them as females do like to chase and nip and if they’re out of direct vision it reduces aggression and chasing. I would also suggest putting 1 glo male in each of the glo fish tanks, so people can see them in a better habitat and those particular fish can have a better life while at meijer.

Spacious and well organized place. Great quality.

Poor customer service. Check outs are very lengthy. Price code errors on almost every trip. Nothing like the stores in Michigan. I found what looked like a feminine hygiene product in my “sanitized” cart. Very disappointing. I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes

They have a little bit of everything from tools to, well you name it, theyve got it. Fair prices, good service.

Meijer is always better than Wal-Mart in every metric I can consider. This location holds up the Meijer experience consistently. Its very clean and well stocked.

The Covid restrictions are unclear and inconsistently communicated depending on who you talk to. Masking is pretty much nonexistent for guests and employees alike, but cashiers will still not touch your reusable bags.

Love Meijers compared to walmart. They have better selection and service than walmart

Few actual lines open and self check most of the time doesnt take cash.Added a star for only reasons I stop here any more; they carry Faygo and my cats food.

Great prices for great quality produce

We are out of state and shopped for the first time in the Normal store. The store has quite a variety of food items as well as clothing and household items. Unfortunately, we were check out by Priscilla who was a non-smiling, person. In fact, she didnt even acknowledge us as customers not did she reply when I asked her how she is dong today. Total absence of communication, unfriendly, and rude. Wont go back

Love this store!! They have a great selection of garden flowers and the Lady was very friendly and helpful infact ll the employees I talked to were very helpful. Tons of products!! Oh and A nice variety of freash veggies and meat cant belieeve they sell bison !! And their carrots reminded me of my garden carrots but bigger.

Ups store being their is so handy

They had some really interesting products here. I was pleasantly surprised. The collection of different gingerbread houses and candy decorations were great. Looks like you could very easily put together a super cute gingerbread house (or even a whole Gingerbread neighborhood)

They offer products not offered in other stores!

We love the Meijer brand generics on several products. Prices are great and we can get everything we need and want stop. Our only complaint is the produce has really slipped in the last year too. I dont feel like enough attention is being paid to that area and it shows

I come here for my shoes, they have a wide variety and they are usually on sale every time I go. I got 2 pairs of runners for the price of 1 so I cant complain.

Clean grocery store with myriad other departments (clothes, home goods, toys, pharmacy, sports, video games, pet). Meijer has most everything. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly friendly helpful!

Less crowded and open later than Walmart during corona times. Slightly higher prices but if you hunt a little they have tons of clearance items that can be great deals!

Pharmacy is wonderful. I was able to get meds that CVS told me they couldnt get.

This location is equivalent to a Walmart Supercenter, and has groceries, pharmacy, clothes, sporting goods, basic hardware, or anything youd expect at a supermarket.Go here for a higher quality shopping experience compared to the Walmart nextdoor.

Never any cashiers .... long long lines. No consideration for the shoppers. Not like this at hyvee.

Overall good experience. Shelves were stocked and there was no clutter in walkways

Nicolas who worked tonight, 12/6/2020 let me know that because a store promotion didn’t come off on the receipt that “it’s not my problem, customer service opens up at 8am” and not all the employees are like that either! this is my first negative experience & i am not a happy camper. 🥴

Great produce, reliably well stocked, and an impressive array of world foods. Been shopping here ~10 years, never disappointed. Good customer service and pleasant staff. The pharmacy though leaves a lot to be desired, including prescription filling time and customer service. Switched pharmacies a long time ago. Other than that, very good experience shopping here for a long time.

Meijer is hands down the best general store. Clean, bright, has just about anything you need. Price wise, think more than Walmart and less than Target.

Such a wide variety in one store

Never enough employees working, its super busy with long lines yet theres always only a handful of registers openAlso several employees (cashiers and service desk) who dont wear their masks properly. We are a year into the pandemic theres no reason the employees shouldnt be told to actually cover their noses by now. Managers need to be on top of that.

Of all the big grocery/department stores, Meijer is the most well-lit, cleanly, and spacious of the ones Ive been to. I dont feel crowded or pressured and am able to find everything I need without much panic or stress. I like it.

First time ever goin to Meijer store, never heard of it. Im from Waterloo Iowa. I really liked shopping there, a little bit pricey.

The college Meijer has gone downhill since covid. The shelves are often not stocked and they are missing many items often. The lines at any time on a Sunday or Saturday are insanely long often with only 1 or 2 lines open. I have been working hard to not shop there now.

Clean and easy to social distance. Much better experience than other big box store.

Its clean. Its organized. And the staff are always super friendly.

Scan and Go is great, it not only makes checkout super fast, but it allows you a chance to price check everything. Meijer has good prices and great selection on virtually everything.

Clothing is awesome but rates are higher

3 cashiers are working. There are at least 10 people in each line waiting to check out. Self service is open. However I dont like using self-service. Maybe if they gave me a discount for doing a job they pay employees to do that would be different. Very disappointed.

Great prices and selection on liquor. There was a gal, Sheila, straightening the liquor shelves. She was surprisingly patient with my questions and rather friendly. Ill be back often.

Their graphic tees are cute and affordable. I love their bra and underwear section because they have lots of different sizes and not just the simple small, medium, large, and extra large. Their clearance sections are affordable with good quality clothes as well as good quality shoes

It was very crowded, which was fine, except people were not social distancing, which was not fine. I felt unsafe.

Very slow at pickup. Texted where I was park ed, had to call them after 15 mins to see if there were coming. Waited another 10 before they finally came out. Only me and one other car waiting, we were there 1st. Dont know how long they had to wait.

Too many people with no masks or wearing them in correctly. Nose exposed or wearing mask as a chin diaper. Avoid Saturdays and Sundays.

Clean and the isles are wide and easily accessible! Staff was also helpful when searching for a specific item!

Nice grocery with decent prices. The pharmacy is handy too.
