Dude at this location turned around and walked away with an attitude after I decided I didn’t want to pay $676 for a set of tires I could have gotten cheaper somewhere else. I went to a different tire shop and got better tires for $200 cheaper. I’ll never go back to this store. I will say, Tiffany at the interstate drive location is a really nice person and great at multitasking. If there were more Tiffany’s Hibdons would be great.
I will definitely go back! This location was able to diagnose and fix issues that 2 different collision centers and one other shop failed to find and/or fix after an accident. Great customer service, great pricing, quick repairs, and my car runs amazing now.
I spent 4 hours in June getting a new set of tires, which I didnt mind because it was an emergency situation. I felt pretty lucky because they were turning away customers around 10 AM. The first question they asked every customer in the door was, did you make a reservation? They made it clear that it was necessary to make a reservation. Fast forward two months--I made an online reservations to fix a flat tire. I showed up at the time of the reservation, only to be told that they cannot honor reservations for flats, even though you can sign up for them online. I wasted my day waiting for my reservation, only to be turned away and still stuck with a flat tire. Ive purchase tires from Hibdon for 20 years, and will never do business with them again.
I made an appointment for simple oil change for 11 am.At 11:30 am my trk was still sitting out side.Bit NO ONE HAD THE CURIOSITY TO COME SEE ME and tell me .Im 67 yrs old and every minute is valuable.Dont have time to get screwed over .I asked for my keys and left.

Only place my dad trusted for tires etc. The hubbs feels the same. Had to replace the ball joints and shocks and they hooked me up for a fair price and a 2 day turnaround
Terrible customer service at your Norman, Ok store on 24th.I had a bulge in my front tire that was a year old. I called and spoke with Kyle on 8/21who in this entire process that was helpful. He had to order the tire and set a 9:00 on 8/28. I arrived at 8:50 and was told by Robert it would be a hour before ready. I advised ok wife was waiting on me. I waited until 12 to call and was told by Robert still haven’t got to my vehicle. He indicated been very busy and some vehicles took longer. I asked what good is having an appointment if not going to honor it. His response was doing the best they can. He put me on hold and said a bay was opening up and I was next. He indicted probably take 30-45 minutes. I waited until 1:30 and drove over and vehicle was parked outside. No phone call. I went inside and asked why no call and again said they were busy.The reason I made an appointment was I wouldn’t have waste my Saturday waiting. Instead I dropped it off at 8:50 and drove off at 1:45 for 1 tire that was under warranty. I received not one apology from your staff. This is the 3rd set of tires and will be the last.
Was not happy with waiting for more than 4 hours to have a tire changed. After 3 1/2 hours, was told that as soon as one vehicle left the bay, my vehicle was next. 4 to 5 other vehicles went instead. I am disabled and the waiting caused a lot of pain. Will not come here again

I picked up a nail or screw on a Sunday afternoon and went in to Hibdon and wanted to get that taken care of . I was told they close in an hour and no one was willing to stay and fix it.
Worse place I’ve ever taken a vehicle. They damaged a hose underneath my vehicle while changing the spark plugs and now it leaks out all the fluids. Never attempted to fix the issue and charged full price for the service. They had very poor customer service and it’s a hassle to speak with the dudes in their because they are not friendly whatsoever. Avoid this place at all costs!! They discriminate against the poor and middle class and are more likely to damage your vehicle then they are capable of fixing it. Seriously take your vehicles anywhere but here my fellow Norman folk.

If I could give 0 I would. I dropped my truck of the night before, my appt was at 10 today and another at 2 for a different vehicle. Got there at 1:50 to pick up my truck and drop off my other vehicle both only needed an oil change. My truck had not even moved. The girl told me who did I talk to I told her I made both appointments on sat and put my keys in the drop box last night. She says to me that she checked the drop box in the morning when she came in as she is pulling out my envelope with keys. I told her I guess you didn’t check the drop box or my truck would have been done on time. She then preceded to ask me how would I like her to make it right? Um I don’t work here, how are you going to make it right me? I told her to cancel my 2 o’clock appointment get my truck done and I would be back for a 2nd time to drop off my other vehicle. After today I will not be returning this store. This is the 2 time I have had issues getting something so small done at this location.

I understand COVID has put restrictions on things, but to turn away an existing customer with a potential flat who bought their tires at Hibdon’s because it is 17 minutes before you close rediculous! No offer for air, put spare on, or anything. Customer service has completely gone out the window here.

I had an excellent experience at Hibdon Tires Plus, off 24th in Norman, today. I needed a new tire AND a new rim. I had never needed to get a new tire rim before, so I didnt think about the fact that most tire shops dont carry them. The first place I went (a different tire store) kind of just made me feel like a dope when I asked. They said they could look but probably not. I left feeling very frustrated. Then I called Hibdon on 24th and Darcy answered and very kindly explained to me the process they would usually go through to get a rim. She also gave me 3 different numbers of auto parts places she usually tries. This was SO HELPFUL. I would have had no idea where to start, and probably would have ended up ordering a rim online and waiting a week to get it. Thanks to her recommendations, I found the tire rim that I needed, at a decent price.When I came back, Josh helped me and kindly explained the pros and cons of getting a new sensor for my tire. I ended up not needing one, because luckily the tire rim I got secondhand already had one that would work. But I still really appreciated him letting me know my options, including prices. He also showed me multiple options for my new tire and let me know the prices, pros, and cons. Then he said they could take rhe tire rim to mount the new tire and I could come back instead of leaving my car there the whole time. This also really helped mw out, because it was a very busy day.Finally, when I came back the second time, Josh put the new tire on for me and Kyle answered all of my questions about signing up for a Hibdon credit card. I NEVER woulf have asked about the credit card or conidered it if the service throughout the experience had not been like it was. This was also my first time applying for a credit card like this. Kyle also called the customer service like when an issue came up instead of me having to home and do it myself, and it saved me money on my purchase today.All of this was done while they were very busy. There were at least 4 calls both times I was there, and multiple customers in the store. But the team was still so patient and helpful which takes a lot of work and energy. After two very stressful car days, my experience at Hibdon Tires Plus on 24th was a big relief.
Brought in my vehicle to get the drum brakes replaced which was gonna cost my 167$, then they called and said the backing plate was damaged and that would cost me 600$ Not very happy but was willing to pay. They then call me AGAIN to tell me that once they fixed my brakes, they took it for a test drive and found my brakes to not be working correctly, then diagnosed it with a broken Master Cylinder. Which would cost me an additional 400$. They admitted to test driving my car BEFORE checking the brake fluid and lines, which in turn cause more harm to my vehicle, and this additional damage that I am now having to pay for. They said they could assemble it all and I could pick it up not fixed or pay for them to fix it. THEY BROKE IT!! They will not admit that they failed to take the proper steps in diagnosing an issue, and then properly testing it. Completely baffled by Hibdon and their lack of professionalism. Had been going here since I was a teenager and have recommended many people. My business and hopefully theirs will be withdrawn. They should stick to tires in my opinion if they cant be proper mechanics!
I love this place! Anytime I have an issue with my truck I can always trust that they will find out whats wrong. The staff there is always kind and respectful. I just love it. Ive been going here for a little over a year.
Best tire shop in Norman or anywhere for that matter. They rotate your tires for free I dont try to upsell you too first one thing and then another. Ive been using Hibdon for 20 or 30 years and I wouldnt go anywhere else

Yesterday I went to Hibdons for a brake inspection/service. I arrived @ 8:30 for a 9:00 appointment. Truck was finally pulled in at 10:00. I asked at 10:30, 2 hours after arriving, when I could expect to know what they found when they told me I needed rear brakes and a bearing. Original phone quote after I asked for worse case scenario was $175-$180. Now they say $595 for brakes only plus the bearing of almost $300. I ran a garage for years in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and was in complete shock. Long story short...I questioned why it took so long for just an inspection and then the cost skyrocketing. They became defensive and rude. They had several excuses. Finally I asked for my truck and keys back. Took it to another shop. Brakes are $427 and it doesnt need a bearing. So, I just saved $468 by switching shops. Hibdons was trying to take advantage of me as an out of state traveler. Never use Hibdons.
Changed my own brakes and couldn’t get the lines bled. Brought it in and they could not bleed them as well. They didn’t charge me though which is nice. Before leaving, the employee advised that the caliper I installed had its bleeder valve on the bottom which was odd. I later discovered OReilleys part number was incorrect and they had given me the wrong caliper. If the Hibdon associate had not commented about the bleeder valve, I would probably still be trying to bleed the brakes over and over which would prove futile since the bleeder valve wasn’t on top. Instead, I got the right caliper and has no problems bleeding it.
You cant go wrong here. The people know their stuff, and they move mountains to get you in and out, even a few hours before closing.
I came in for a brake analysis for the 3rd time in 2 years at different Hibdon Tires, and not only did they fix the problem, they changed the rotors on the front and back for no charge. I like it when a business goes above and beyond. I will definitely return for future work as needed.
Went to two separate locations. Was hours from home and got a flat. They were 4-6 hours to even get me in. Had to change my own tire in a different parking lot due to them having no space.
They are good people. We set up our appt online. Car was taken in promptly. They have addressed all of our concerns. Fixed what needs fixed. Oil change, tires rotated, and even replaced the brake pads that they had replaced before and failed early.
Nit too personable of people. Nice enough. Very long waits for services. Prices a little high comparative to most big chains. Upsell and unnecessary work tactics like everyone else. Just the usual car shop stuff
Great tires. Nice wait area. Very long wait. I showed up to get two tires at 11:15 on a Wednesday. There were three people in front of me. At about 11:45 they took my truck in for new tires and I was the only one there. At 1:30 they pulled my truck around and parked it with new tires. At 1:50 (still the only customer) they checked me or and I left. The tires however were great.
Unnecessary work tactics. Added brake fluid to my bill and didn’t even tell me how it cost. Only showed me the original price that I was told. Ended up paying x3 as much as I was told because I let them do a “courtesy check” and they took it upon themselves to do more maintenance without asking me then billing me for it.
Went in for a flat tire, imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a simple patch job because of a nail. No charge! Professional and friendly employees and a comfy waiting area with coffee, water, hot chocolate, and popcorn. I literally could not have had a better experience, and will be loyal to Hibdon when I need new tires in the future.
Great place but not all their techs are as experienced as they say...I fought with them over my trucks battery size and cold crank amps. They assured me it was fine...I bought a bigger battery after already buying from them and it fixed my trucks problems. Validated by Toyota service techs as well. So...oil and tire rotation only here as they are great. Otherwise, do your homework for a proper experienced mechanic.
Maybe due to operating changes for the virus but they seem to be more delayed than I remember. No appointments sometimes for days into the future. Left a vehicle for oil change and check a leaking tire. In past that would often be done within a couple of hours now will take half day or more. Still high level of care just slower
I was in quickly and out quickly, and everything was done very well and very efficiently!
Corby convinced me to buy the warranty on my tires. Seemed frivolous at the time. Today it paid off. Nail in an un-patchable area. Free replacement. Done in 15 minutes. Top notch customer service. Nobody can match their service. Highly recommend.

I came in because I was going on a trip and had a nail in my tire. Not only did they fix my tire ( no charge!!) But they even filled up my windshield wiper fluid because it was low. I felt very taken care of and I will definitely be back!!
Great place to check up your vehicle.I went there to fix squeaking noise from front end. We couldn’t fix that up as we cant find where the noise comes from. But Brandon checked up my vehicle very carefully and lubed them. (As you know, fixing noise is very hard and time consuming process)I definitely revisit here if I need any maintenance or repair services!

Got there around 9 am on a Saturday to get my alignment fixed, my tires rotated and balanced. Not only was there no wait, but my car got in the shop before I had left and they were done in an hour. Very polite, knowledgeable and some of the best prices in town.
Made an appointment for my free alignment check (I had paid for the lifetime alignment for my vehicle) and they did a great job! David was professional, but not the most friendly. We love Hibdon Tires and they truly stand behind their work. We usually go to another location and this was the first time I had been to this one. They have a comfortable waiting room and as stated I had a 2 pm appointment and wanted them to also rotate my tires and check the tire pressure, but it took 2 hours to do the alignment and he said that it would be ANOTHER 2 hours to do the rotation of tires! That seems a bit extreme to me, so I said that I would have to do that at another time. So that is the reason for the four stars and not five. I think the wait is a bit excessive especially when you have an appointment. We recommend them, but just be prepared to wait.

I have been to this location 3 times. One was for an oil change the other two times for mechanical work. I have found them to be very helpful and their work to be good. I went for an oil change today and Robert went out of his way to do some extra service for me. As a businessman, Im aware of how important service is. Robert did that today. I am new to Norman but Im liking what I find here and will be using them again.
This is the BEST tire etc. shop in Norman. Sunday morning 9am they helped me out with extensive experience at no charge. Super nice, clean, big service area store I would recommend to anyone !

Have been here for four hours waiting for new tires to be placed on my car. I am still waiting for them to finish my car. Not sure what the average time to change tires, but this is absurd and a huge waste of my time. I would recommend any other place but here. Can not imagine any other place taking as long.

So really happy with this place and the staff. After a HORRIBLE exp at another well known tire shop that charged me but did not explain properly that they did nothing.... ended up damaging my car because I thought it was good to go. These guys at Hibdons listened to what I was saying and did exactly as asked. My only issue was I went on a busy day so made an appt for oil change and alignment check. They did the oil change right on time and quick. My car then set there along with me for another hour to get alignment check. When i asked they told me there was a 1pm appt ahead of me. My appt was at 12 and done with oil change well before 1. Not to mention shouldnt my noon appt go before 1?I can get over that though as they did exactly what i asked and didnt charge me and send me on my way with incomplete service. Trust is so important when you are taking your car in and there a lot of shady shops but I feel pretty good about the honesty of the guys here. I love the recorded printouts as well. Thank you for your integrity.
Tiffany Housley (Store Manager) and crew were great! My brakes were singing pretty good and went to have them looked at. They replaced my front pads and resurfaced the rotors and cleaned/adjusted the rear drums. Still had a minor issue with brake sound, so I went back and they brought my vehicle back in for an adjustment, no questions asked! Tiffany was great with the customers during my wait. This place lies to me a lot. They will tell me theyll perform a service for free when I buy or swap tires to get me to agree to it, then theyll call me later and tell me I need the service, but they said they would only provide a check to see if I need the service. When I bought all season tires they were going to throw away my expensive summer tires. I had to have them dig them out of the trash. Then they told me they would swap the tires back in summer time. They told me that again when I called them before going in. But when I got there they said they were going to charge me for the work. I had to almost walk out to get them to deliver the tire swap they promised. They also said they would perform a free alignment. But later they called me and told me it would cost $79. In addition to all that, I took my car in at 11:00am, it is now 3:25PM and they still havent finished a simple mount and balance job. Its the same every time I go in. Getting anything done never takes less than five hours. There are some people who just sit in the lobby all day waiting because they dont realize Uber exists.

She does her best to make her customers happy and earns the loyal customers who always come to see her. Plus Im always amazed when they say Lowest tire price in the state! Friendly, courteous and clean staff. Learned how easily I can make an appt in the future. Repair was accomplished quickly, once they got to it. A lot of folks were ahead of me.
We had a leak.in one of our tires. They fixed it at no charge. One of their service personnel told us that our tires were bad and the following week, we went in, got two new tires, and rotated them. We plan on going back and not only get new tires for the two that werent replaced but also get a brake job. WTG, Guys!
I had an appointment at 3 done by 4:15. One replacement tire and a balance rotation.
Only thing the did right is speed of service. They lost my keys and tried to give me someone elses key. They offered a free alignment check didnt do it. And They didnt even get the air preasure close to the same. There was like a 6 pound diffences between tires. Then the dudes there tried to blame the woman for the not doing the alignment check. Told them she didnt even work on my ticket it was all the dudes fault.
This is a great place to take your vehicle. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent workmanship. We have been following the manager, Tiffany Housley, from locations in Norman to Moore and back to Norman because she is amazing at what she does!
I arrived to this store with a nail in my tire and it was slowly leaking air. Corby and D Arcy were fantastic. 5 stars+ for both of them. The waiting area (with complementary drinks and a phone charger) was nice. Waiting an hour and a half to hear they couldnt fix my tire was not nice. Having to buy a tire AFTER all that time was not nice. I learned a long ago to never shoot the messenger, so I want to make it abundantly clear that Corby and D Arcy did the best they could do for me. The service model is horrible though. It took an hour and a half to tell me could not fix my tire because the nail caused too much damage. This frustration could have been fixed with better communication. Dont send someone out to look at it and tell me it looks fixable, make me wait an hour and a half, and THEN tell me it cant be fixed THEN start the tire buying and installation process. Everyone in the waiting area knows we are at your mercy to get our cars back. Your guys can take their sweet time and there is nothing we can do about it-especially on a Sunday when youre the only option to have our tire fixed to get to work on Monday.

I had a blowout, and needed a new tire quick. I made it to this Hibdon location about a half hour before they closed. They were already full and busy, but they got me set up with a new tire in a little over 20 minutes.

Took car back 21 days after having tires put on front for rough feel in front. Called me with needs 2 back tires, struts, motor mounts..etc. to the tune of over $3000.00 dollars. Told me one thing and then said different when my husband called to talk to them. All manager said when ask how the issues werent seen before and what the tech did about different info was..I dont know . Been using Hibdons for over 20 years,never been treated like this. Very bad service.

If you have a puncture in your tire don’t waste your time coming here getting it fixed. Unless it’s the perfect puncture all they want to do is sell you a new tire. I’ve had this happen 3 occasions now and each time another shop fixed the tire no questions asked.Also on 2 occasions now they couldn’t do a job because they “didn’t have the tool”. Think I’ve wasted enough time coming here with out ever getting anything repaired.Once they claimed they couldn’t find a lug nut lock tool. Took it to the dealer thinking I needed to buy a new one and they found it within 30 seconds. Another wasted hour at Hibdon with no results.It’s a shame cause the staff is friendly and facilities are nice.
Went to have my new tires mounted, and I requested that no impact wrench be used on my wheels, and was flatly told by an employee that there was no way he would use hand tools on my wheels. I chose to leave seeing how my request was a big joke to the employees there!!
They had us set an appointment and said it would only take an hour to swap out the tires. When we showed up for the appointment they said it would take them at least 2 hours maybe a little longer.

Spent alil over 2 hours here just for them to replace tires i felt were fine and tell me my car was practically in its best shape. No more than 2 weeks later it wouldnt start! I feel like they didnt pay attention to my car at all and it was just sitting there for 2 hours! I also came to find out about my brake problem and didnt get anywhere with that
I only go here for maintenance up keep and have for years. If I dont get great customer service and jobs done on my vehicle to mechanical quality I can always go elsewhere! I personally wanted to stay with my crew from West main. So when this branch opened I followed.
I recently needed to replace an entire set of tires due to tread wear. The tires were originally purchased from Hibdons & since they wore out before the warranted miles, Hibdons pro-rated the replacement. 2 months later, I put a hole in the side of 1 of the new tires — entirely my fault. Because Hibdons includes a free 6-month road hazard warranty, they replaced it free, including the state tire disposal fee.The staff is always friendly, eager to help, organized, & professional, especially the manager — she runs a tight ship.This is emblematic of the service Ive received from Hibdons since I started driving in the 1970s. The location may be new & they may be part of Tires Plus now, but the service hasnt changed. They have, in me, a customer for life.
