Nice staff. Convenient rental process. Biggest problem with this specific company is that two months after doing a month by month lease, I was notified that my monthly rent would increase by almost $200 a month. I understand it is within their rights to change the monthly rent due to no lease being signed. New renters may take into consideration that the monthly rent can rise at any moment due to the month by month agreement.

We have used Extra Space for several years on and off and have always had a good experience. Their new online rental is quick and simple and very convenient!

I have been renting with Extra Space Storage since late 2018. The office staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful any time I have questions or concerns, especially Alex. The only issue Ive ever had is with spiders/mice in the storage unit itself, but that isnt something easily controlled with outdoor units.

This place is amazing. It is very clean and looks new. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a friendly face. It didn’t take but a couple of minutes and then I was shown where my storage unit was. They also took the time to walk me through how to use their gate. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Made a reservation last night for a storage unit. Had all of my items packed and ready to move, and called to pay for my unit. I am about to make a move to Italy, so this was a big deal for me. When I called, they had rented out my storage unit to someone else. The business hadn’t even been open for an hour. Was not told over the phone it was first come first serve, I was told I had a reservation, and I even had a confirmation number. Absolutely ridiculous. I will be renting elsewhere.

We had a family member who rented a unit that declined and passed due to advancing Alzheimer’s. Rent was fair, employees were extra nice, but beware they really stick it to you with the lock. You have to have a specific kind of lock that I couldn’t find anywhere else so I had no choice but to buy their WAY OVERPRICED locks ($18 each). You’ll see regular locks The n a lot of other units but they’ll tell you they’re grandfathered in before they decided to gauge everyone with this particular lock.

Alex was very helpful and the online reservation process was easy and quick!

Literally almost doubled my payment from $34 to $66 for a 5 x 8 storage unit.

This is absolutely the cheapest place in Norman! Their prices were nearly half of what uhaul wanted. We worked with Alex to set up a storage unit for our IBC company. Extra space was extremely helpful and friendly. I 100% would use extra space again!

Super friendly staff. Gives courtesy calls if payments dont go through or towards the end of the lease. Very transparent. I wish I remembered his name, but I think he was the manager in 2019. Its because of him that this place is awesome. Youll hear it in his tone when you speak with him!

They locked my things up went into my storage unit without me saying they seen a luggage on another isle that they said it came from my storage unit (but was on a totally different isle )when he discovered it they opened it and said it was covered in bugs so thats y they cut my lock and went into my storage unit they said the bugs came from us but they later said the luggage didnt come from us so I ask them did they find bugs in my storage unit he said yes and then continued on to say they took pics so I ask of what and he said of my storage unit so Im like u didnt take pics of the bugs that u said we had the whole reason y u say u went into my unit he said no he didnt tk pics of any bugs well I say cause they lied and violated me and they wont give me my things corporate wont contact me back guess its time for legal action

Rented a unit from Extra Space for a few months, they only charged like $40 for a 5x8, the unit was clean when I moved my things in. There wasnt any sign of rat poop or even bugs in my things which was very pleasing when I finally moved out. Alex up front is super helpful! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family for being affordable and cleanly.

We needed a storage space while we moved to a smaller location and while we havent actually moved our things in, so far we have had nothing but friendly and efficient customer service! I first called the 1-800 customer service line to ask questions and had fast, friendly service and a unit reserved at no cost up front. Once I actually went in to sign paper work and check that the size of the unit was going to be appropriate, I was again greeted with extremely friendly, and fast service. Lindy is amazing, understanding and very knowledgeable. She made going in to sign paper word with four kids quick and easy! The grounds themselves look like they are very safe and extremely well kept. We look very forward to storing our things here! I have had a storage unit for almost a year. Management, specifically, Lindy, has been excellent. I have no complaints about her or the facility. My only complaint is the ever increasing insurance costs which have raised my rate from $50 a month to over $100 a month in less than a year.

Ive maintained storage at this location for more than 20 years under different ownership. The current management is by far and away the very best. The facility has been upgraded, the services have been broadened, and the office staff is ALWAYS courteous, professional, and accessible. Special attention should be given to Lindy in the main office, who is the consummate professional: friendly, efficient, unusually accommodating, and unflappable on every occasion.

Went in today and got my storage unit and it was a great experience. When you walk in they have large monitors showing their cameras around the lot (which put my mind at rest wondering if my stuff would be safe here.) They commented how they check all units locks everyday and the surrounding area is gated. Seems very secure and that was my main concern. Glad I chose Extra Space Storage!

Lindy was an exceptional saleswoman, very hospitable and well-informed of her business. Did a good job of explaining to me what my options were, and how I can most benefit from the companys services. I plan to stay here for a long time, and will refer all of my friends to the Extra Space Storage in Norman, OK.

My family and I took advantage of the first months free storage. We needed a place to store our things as we were moving from one place to another and there was going to be about a 2 week gap between the two. Well, we rented a unit and were told that if we were in and out in less than 1 month, we would only be billed a admin fee of roughly 12 dollars. I was in and out in less than 2 weeks and even called the property manager upon move out to come inspect my unit. I was told as long as it was clean and nothing was left behind we would be good to go. The unit was spotless and nothing was left behind. So after the first month goes by, BOOM a charge hits my credit card for $101.20. Keeping in mind we have been out of the storage unit for 3 weeks at this point. Called and was told that the refund was approved by management and all they had to do was push a button but still no refund. Called again today and was not able to get a hold of the manager and reached an answering machine instead. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE OR YOU WILL KEEP GETTING CHARGED EVEN WEEKS AFTER YOU MOVE OUT OF THE UNIT!!!
