I was vacationing in the area and accidently dropped my phone in the intercostal waterway. What could have been a disaster was a blessing because of Deshawn and Christians excellent customer service. The reps are nice but we had a 1:00 pm appointment and we were wanted on after 2:00 pm. And when it is finally your turn they want to hustle you through as fast as possible. If what we needed had not been for my grandson I would have left and changed cell companies.

Okay so its been a year-and-a-half since I bought my phone. the screen went black. I decided to try an iPhone. I declined the warranty and the face cover, another story for another time. I was told by the girl that there was no way to transfer any information from one phone to the other. 2 days later my son comes to visit me. He also has an iPhone and was able to quickly transfer all my information. This review is in hopes that the owner will hire people with enough knowledge to program the phones. Im 65 years old and just dont need the aggravation.

Waited an hour to speak to a customer service rep, she was extremely rude. I didn’t catch her name, I asked her questions and she just assume we wanted to upgrade our phone service. I must say she was extremely annoyed when she had to see a manager to correct it back. Maybe if she was listening to the customer conversation she would not have to have gone threw all the trouble.

I cannot recommend this establishment. I made an appointment and when I gave my name, they didnt even recognize that I had an appointment and told me to wait inline as of I were a walk-in. Then the employees were unable to help with my issue of setting up an individual account, off if an existing account. Not very helpful.

Jenn was very helpful and actually helped us out for the company. She got us in touch with the commercial side when I went in about a current phone issue with a brand new phone. My voicemail would not work and she changed out the Sim card and now it works like new again. The guy who handles the business accounts is a liar. I had mobile hot spots and well now I lost all my hot spots moving over, when I had unlimited hot spot on my personal account. So now I cant do business on the road with my computer like I was before.

My phone has not worked right for the last 3 months they sent a new one out witch did not work yet. Got told it was my Sims card wrong again. They will not give me phone that wodks.I tried to turn it in and closes the line still would not do that. So my Boss put me on her plan but still stuck paying for a phone and another phone bill. That dont work. What happen to this company

I needed to get my phone replaced.. I have a MEDICAL condition where I CANT wear a mask. They wouldnt allow me to enter the store, and they wanted me to call Verizon instead of helping me there.And now they claim they were following CDC rules, BUT if you read the guidelines carefully, you understand there are exceptions to those rules, under which my medical condition is... No reason to not allow a customer service. There has not been one other place that hasnt allowed me service and entrance into their business. This is DISCRIMINATION of my disability.And please dont say youre sorry, Ive seen that in all of the responses to the negative comments about your store. Do something to help, dont just say youre sorry.

After being treated poorly and posting a negative review about my experience at Verizons North Myrtle Beach store, I heard from its owner with his sincere regret & apology; so I went back. This time a different manager assisted me (Ive had 5 strokes & am mentally challenged). She was Wonderful! Cant say enough good things about her kindness & pacience with me. I was all set to switch service providers because of the poor, initial treatment. Due to the owner reaching out to me, and especially because of that kind, young lady who helped me the second time (she had no knowledge about my previous, bad experience there), Im sticking with Verizon. The age-old lesson here is: Dont let one bad apple ruin the whole bunch!

My wife and I got new phones from Verizon. Went to store in North Myrtle Beach to get data transferred and activated. We were helped quickly by Pam and could not have had a better experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very patient with two technically challenged seniors. Overall a terrific visit.

Verizon service is so poor in North Myrtle Beach weve been able to listen to 4 songs in about 3 hours. I not sure if they throttle the service or its just the lack of coverage, but I wouldnt recommend getting their service if you live in this area!

We were assisted quickly, but also very quickly shuttled out of the store once the sales associate realized we were only purchasing a phone, and not all of the extras like car chargers, a case, etc. We asked if it could be set up in store as it was my daughters first iphone, and he insisted it was super easy to do at home. He seemed anxious to get to his next appointment. Well, it was not easy to do at home, took several hours of frustration, a call to tech support, who indicated that a crucial piece of setup was not done in store. The tech support person worked on it on her end, and got the phone working in minutes. Wish we had her in the beginning!

I have been to this location twice in the last month, Its extremely busy given the iPhone launch so wait times are understandable. I was recently there for 3 hours between waiting to get phone and waiting for everything to back up. I noticed one guy name Larry V. who makes an incredible impression if you pay attention to everything he does. This guy greets everyone coming in, checks them in to iPad, sets expectation of time frame to wait, took bill payments, saw him sell several car chargers and cases but kept informing those people that he had to keep checking people in while helping them. Was letting people know who was next. He was answering the phone and placing people on hold, checking people in, then going back to phone to answer questions. Sells reps were constantly going to the back of store, you could hear them laughing sounds like have a good time and Larry would go to back several times trying to keep people moving. Ive never seen a person manage a busy floor as well as this kid, then a customer came in that didnt want to wait said they had a quick question, which I dont think it was and Larry explained that he needed to check her in. She threw the F-Bomb at him and Larry kept his cool and informed her very nicely that profanity was not going to resolve the issue and he would try looking at it but he had to check people in. She wanted a manager and he told her that they were dealing with other situations and it would still require a wait time, but informed her to explain the issue and he would look at it. Apparently, customer was taken care of while Larry continued to manager everything else going on. I laughed when she left and ask him if he was a manager. Larry said no with a smile but Im getting good practice Hats off to Larry V. for a great attitude and doing what nobody else in that store does. He should be a manager.

I have been with Verizon for over 20 years and am switching. I am currently on a prepaid plan and it is impossible to talk to a live person via their number. I had to call the regular line and someone transferred me. I then spoke to a rep for 1.5 hours explaining my current phone had died and I needed to purchase a new one. Due to my frustration, she assured me a sale rep would call me because customer service was not allowed to take payments. Needless to say no one called. I spent another hour today trying to speak to someone (called the regular sales line 4 times and was disconnected). I then went on a live chat wit a supervisor for over 30 minutes that stated she could not give me a managers number or a live person to talk to. She said there were no detailed notes regarding my purchase so she could not give me the same rate. I have been a loyal customer for a long time. Thanks Verizon for showing appreciation with such lousy customer service. It doesn’t matter how great your coverage is if it is impossible to get a phone that works or actually speak to a live person when you have a problem.

Be careful dealing with this store. Be sure you ask all the right questions and get their responses in writing. I was promised a deal on 2 phones but when the bill came in, I was charged full price. I co fronted management and asked why....their response was, he promised you the deal cause he is a nice guy but we do not honor the offer....sorryOnce my contract ends I will leave Verizon, after 18 years of service with them.

Find another Verizon store. The staff in this store have no customer service skill.Stopped in yesterday afternoon to find a new case for my Galaxy S10. Walked past a cluster of employees who were chatting - I was the only customer in the store. One followed me over to the case display. Once I saw the cases were in the 80 to $100 range, and they didn’t have a color I liked, I said I needed to think about it. Mr Sales Guy turned and started to walk away from me. At that point I asked if he could answer a question I had about my phone. He kept walking away from me and said “maybe”, never turning to to face me.At that point I said never mind and left the store. Won’t go back. Customers clearly are a nuisance to employees here. And if customers don’t make a purchase on the spot, they are quickly abandoned.Reading prior reviews, I see that the management is aware of the problem, but apparently doesn’t bother changing the culture in this store.

I upgraded from a iPhone 7+ to an 8+. Was told by Jenn R. that I would need a new case because my old one wouldn’t fit my new phone. As I was browsing for cases I noticed that all of the 8+ cases also fit the 7+. I pointed this out to Jenn R. and she said well sometimes they don’t work. I also upgraded from the Apple Watch series 1 to the series 3. Well the band was almost too big for my wrist so she tried to sell me a new band. After leaving the store I realized that the watch came with a s/m band that could easily be changed. She was just out to sell something that I didn’t need.

I was in the market for an iPhone X. On a previous visit to the store, a female rep was kind enough and helpful to show me the phone. Not being exactly ready to purchase, and because there was a deal online, I opted to return. Fast forward a few days, I arrange online to place the order in the store so I can get the phone that evening. One hour prior to closing, I enter the store to do business. Four fellows are socializing and hanging out at the counter. One figures out who I am, we discuss the deal, but I get a bad vibe with the patronizing attitude, and the eagerness to be sold all sorts of needless overpriced accessories ( such as a $30 glass screen protector ) ..... the used car lot salesman vibe.There is no clear mention of the Loyalty Discount, neither is it explained to me properly ( unlike the reps on the CS line at Verizon ), and Im being pushed to sign ..... which I do not. I ended up walking out and ordered the phone from CS whos overnighting it to me. At least they record conversations at the call centre. Whatever is promised in the store stays in the store.....

My current phone is on a suicide mission & they cant offer me ANY KIND OF DEAL on the purchase of a new one except convenient financing for 2 yrs....who in their right mind goes in debt for a phone. Ordered a phone online on Sunday and arranged for pickup in store on Monday. 1.5 hours later, I finally looked at the young man and said “W—,problem solve and get me my phone!” He finally got on the phone with customer service and resolved my “pending” order. In the meantime another customer arrived in emotional distress. After being told by several staff to “wait her turn”, an associate approached her and and started to listen to her. 30 minutes later I watched this same associate (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name), still patiently listening to this distraught woman. Overall, horribly unimpressed with the laughable attempts to resolve my problem, but very impressed by the young blond woman who listened to that distressed woman.

Terrible customer service. We walked in someone took our name to put on a list then we were completely ignored for the next 20 minutes. There was even someone that came in after us that got helped before us. Bummer because we are in the market for 3 iphone 11s and 3 lines of service. We wanted to switch from Sprint to Verizon. Went in to purchase a new iPhone and “Larry” told me I had to remove my screen protector first before doing any checking or talking price. I told him I’d remove it after we were finished because if something didn’t workout I didn’t want to have my old phone unprotected. He totally refused and lost the sale. When I called Verizon the lady was shocked at his ignorance. Whatever you do do not go to this location!!!

UPDATE: My experience was AMAZING!!! Buddy went out of HIS WAY to help me! Verizon made me jump through a bunch of hoops, but Buddy hung in there every step of the way! AWESOME GUY, AWESOME SERVICE! Made me wait over 3 hours to purchase a iPhone 7 & charged me $850. I had to wait so long that I had to have an employee go sit w/ my phone b/c I had to get back o work. After waiting 3 hours I got a ton of paperwork to sign. Somehow I got suckered into signing for a HUM that I thought was free. What a useless money making scheme. I tried twice to cancel it & they charge $160 cancellation fee. The monthly charge is $10 a month. I allegedly signed a 2 year contract for the HUM. 2 years or 24 months at $10 = $240 but they want $160 to cancel??? CROOKS!!!!! Also, I bought more storage yet my phone cant take anymore pics or download anything. Service there is horrendous. They are just like hungry sharks waiting to screw over people. Verizon is like this everywhere but this office really took poor service to the next level. I am cancelling my account & switching to the competitor. The juice is worth the squeeze!!!
