My transmission went out on my car, not only did they fix it quickly but also cheaper than any other place I looked. Amazin, polite owner who works with you on everything and best of all is honest. Will always go there for my repairs.

Craig and Ryan are phenomenal. My family and I have brought our cars here since we’ve lived in Oak Forest and have always had good experiences here. The pricing is beyond fair.I see some of these reviews mention the price changing etc. That’s part of owning a car people. Sometimes issues are not immediately visible and only show up after work has already started on your vehicle. Sometimes this work is necessary to safely give your vehicle back. So stop faulting the business for these things!CARS is beyond reasonable in their pricing and their communication with customers is well beyond industry standard. I don’t go anywhere else for vehicle work anymore.

The owner, Craig has got to be the best guy in the business. I take most of my auto repairs to him, but being a bit of a shade tree mechanic I do some things (like brake pads) myself. More than once Craig has let me bring him a repair job I started but could not finish because of lack of access (not having a car hoist). He prefers to sell parts as well as repairs (of course) but is extremely fair on labor charges if you get stuck on a self-repair. And of course any parts+ jobs are priced at the best around.Just go there, you wont be sorry.

I like how respectful they were. Did talk down to me because i was a woman. Also they saved me more then 200 dollars. Midas wanted to charge me over 400 for senors. Craig the owner is awesome!!!! These gentleman are the real honest machanics. They just gained a customer for life.

Good People.Great spot to get in for a cheap oil change and rotation. I have used alot for many of my familys jobs big to small. They are local family owned and operated shop. I like to shop small i feel they handle my car as if it was their own.

An honest and competent auto repair facility. Clean, thorough and reasonably priced. What makes them better is the little things - rotate my tires when I get oil changes and dont charge extra for it. Fixed my mirror and didnt even charge me. I send my wife there and would send my Mom if she drove. The owner, Craig, has been there for years and at another place down the street. Modern technology with old-fashioned customer care.

The owner Craig Esposito placed an advertisement with my company, and gave me a bad credit card number for payment and has since completely blew off the bill. Four years later Im still trying to be paid. Be a man and pay your debts.

You always here those stories of because I was a female they talked down to me or haggled me for more than what I needed. Not with this place. I’ve been going here for some time now and they always just fix what I need and that’s it. I’ve never had any issues with them. Last year my car died on me and after having it towed to Firestone they said my battery was fine it could have just been my keyfob and to look into getting it replaced. They also told me some of my tires would need to be replaced and tried getting a sale out of me to which I declined. A couple months after that my car wouldn’t start again so while I went to work, my dad had it towed to here and they quickly found out it was indeed my battery. They also said my tires were still fine and the ones that would eventually need to be replaced were not the ones firestone said, just the opposite. This is the only place I’ll ever go to again. CARS definitely has gained a lifetime customer out of me.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.Questionable Business Practices – Poor Communication.Last Friday morning, I gave my car to Cars Auto for a computer/reset issue, with a quoted price. I was told they would call when done. After not hearing from them all day, I called them 45 minutes before they were due to close for the weekend. I was shocked when they told me of additional work they had done, and the current cost was 5 times what I had expected. They also suggested more work be done that would be over 3 times more the current price.I asked them if the car was running (they knew it was my only vehicle), what the price was and when it would be available for pick-up.When I ransomed my car, I asked them what they had done. Frankly, I don’t believe them.My Suggestion: Don’t use the services of Cars Automotive in Oak Forest – and tell all your friends NOT to use them either.A Longtime Oak Forest Resident

CARS has excellent service and professional, courteous mechanics. They are my go to place for all my auto service needs.

Craig has been servicing my car for 20 years. The service is always good and very often comes in lower than the original quote. He stands behind his work and there is never any add-ons or shenanigans. I run an Acura RL and the Acura dealers can be exorbitantly expensive, so I go to CARS for better workmanship and a lower rate. Simple.
