Just bought the truck I was looking for at a Kia dealership. Got it for the price I wanted but what impressed me the most was the service AFTER the sale. There was an issue that I hadnt noticed when I bought it and I brought it to their attention and they fixed it without hesitation. Anyone can sell a vehicle but the service after shows integrity. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from this dealer. The 90 day 3k mile warranty they give with their used vehicles also gives peace of mind. Maranda was unusually helpful before and after the sale. Some of the crew not even involved with the sale helped out, great team work. Thanks to Joe and Ryan for taking care of issues after the sale.

The wait was long because of a computer outage, but the staff was very courteous & apologized over and over for the inconvenience. The day after I received phone calls from two different people, once again apologizing.I always receive good treatment at this dealership.

Made an 8:30 appointment for a recall which was told it’s not a recall after receiving a letter in the mail that my lights were on for recall purposes. Get to Kia wait 2 hours for them to run just a diagnostic test get charged 90 for that and then they try asking me if I want to pay 500 for a wheel sensor. Could have run diagnostics at an auto parts store for free and it would have took 10 mins. No one even walked out to talk over the two hour period. Will not be coming back to this place.

I went in today to purchase a used 2020 Kia Rio and I spoke with a sales rep named Taylor. Taylor was very thorough and made sure to explain everything that was going on very clearly. This was my first car purchase and he made sure that I knew what I was getting in to and listened to any questions/concerns that I had.Pete (finance/building manager) was also extremely helpful when explaining the financial side of buying the car. 26 years only with an 8% interest rate on a 2020 Kia. Had down payment money all they did was run credit and I was approved. Took my 2012 Nissan out my hands, wasn’t worth much but they game me a pretty good value for it. Process did not take all day & I will forever love my car. They did great at giving me what I was looking for. Employees could be more friendly I was 25 at the time and going in for oil changes and things has been a little unwelcoming. In the end they have great personalities not sure why..

Had a bad experience. Spoke with a manager and confirmed a price. Then when I got down there they gave a price nearly 2K above what was confirmed on the phone. After insisting they honor the price confirmed, they finally came down within 400 but refused the last bit. At the end I walked out with a bad taste in my mouth. To add insult to injury, the sales rep never gave my license back so now I have to wait for shipping or drive back for it. Id avoid if I were you.Edit: after their customer service/satisfaction branch reached out (evidenced below) they repeated all the same lines I was given at the dealership why they couldnt honor the confirmed price. The next day the customer service manger called back again and finally agreed to honor it, but it was a little too late for me at that point. I purchased elsewhere. Im tempted to give them a second star since they eventually offered to honor the agreed price, but I shouldnt have had to waste that much time, effort, and talk to so many people for them to just do what they said they would.

Attitude reflects LeadershipMy wife and I were traveling across country and back in our 2020 Kia Sorento. We had a Service Collision Warning system light on and it was disabling the side mirror warning and sensors on vehicle my wife and I Use Often as features on this vehicle. We total drove 2,600 miles in less than a week.I dropped my wifes Sorento off and spoke to the check in advisor who was thorough and very helpful. Then got signed in with Service Advisor Gage Ball. It needed a software update. We had to get back on the road and with little notice I had our vehicle back within maybe 2 hours.Thank you to the Owner, the General Manager, The Service Manager, thank you Especially Gage and whomever the Automotive Technician was that serviced the vehicle.

Let me start off by saying the people working there in general were very nice and professional. BUT...I was looking into trading in my 2020 Dodge Journey for something bigger. We found out real quick after a trip up north with the current one it was too small for a family of 5. So we spoke to someone over the phone with Jenkins Kia and he got all my information over the phone, spoke to a manager and told us that he could get us into what we were looking at. My husband asked him 3x that he was sure he could get us into what we wanted and the man on the phone stated yes. I even asked, I told him Im not coming all the way out there if I cannot get into anything. He stated that it was a done deal and I was good! So we traveled all the way to Ocala (almost an hour) thinking we were just going to finish all the paperwork and get our vehicle! Well lets just say it never happened. After speaking and working with someone else they stated that they could do a trade for the one I have to the one I want and wanted $10,0000 down! Yes, that is correct $10,000 DOWN! Are you kidding me! Like I would have that kind of cash! Mind you I was trading for a USED 2020 Armada! It had more miles than the one I have and was AS IS with a limited warranty! I will not be stepping foot back into that dealership again! I do not like being lied to! They can keep their vehicles and I will just keep the one I have and make accommodations to the one I have to make traveling more comfortable.

Jenkins Kia of Ocala is always great to me even when Im just waiting for an oil change. If they see me wandering around they will always come over and strike up a conversation and make sure all my needs and concerns are taken care of. Would love to meet Mr. Jenkins someday when Im in there getting my car cared for.

Be warned, this particular location does NOT negotiate prices and are very unreasonable. They were selling the car for $12,900. It was not worth that based on the condition and the car report. The value on KBB and Edmunds True Value put it at a little over $9,000, and that wasnt factoring the condition because I had not yet seen the car and the car report before searching the value. I offered $13,000 out the door, they said no, even after I pointed out it had rust and had been in an accident. Im serious. The salesman clearly didnt want to persuade me why I should buy it at their price with the added $2,500 in fees, so $15,400 was what they wanted, or even offer a counter offer. Decided to go to Wesley Chapel Kia. Got the same car, year, make, and model, almost the same mileage, with no rust, no sun damage, and had not been in an accident as the one at Jenkins Kia had, for the price I was asking for. They happily negotiated with me, and sold me a car. I will not be going to Jenkins Kia again. I would highly recommend the longer drive and go to Wesley Chapel Kia instead.

The car salesman insulted me. I was paying cash and he asked me if I borrowed the money. Then when I said that I dont do credit, I prefer to pay cash. He then insults me again by saying dont you want to be a homeowner someday. One, I am a homeowner of multiple properties and also capable of working and saving my own money. I feel this salesman made the assumptions based on the color of my skin. These insults were made in less than ten minutes of being there. So, I left. I bought a car cash from AutoMax. They were excellent. The car salesmans name was Pete. Avoid him!!!! I did call and talked to Petes manager Juan who was very professional and understanding.

Thanks.old visit belowShort story: I was charged $100 diagnosis fee after waiting an hour to get my car out of limp mode. The receipt says fixed but it was not. I immediately went back and they said it would require $1100 to get it out of limp mode.I immediately went to a small family owned shop who was able to clear the code in 10 minutes for free. They also offered the same repairs for cheaper when i get the money.I went to Kia because I saw over 300 good reviews but my first experience there was not at all pleasant and i felt like they were trying to get as much money from me as possible. One of them even offered to buy my car so I could but a new one while I was sitting in the waiting room.On the up side, they were all friendly otherwise and took my car in to look at fairly quickly. Have food and beverages in waiting room. Clean friendly atmosphere.

Ive waited a few weeks after my purchase to express my opinions. I was pretty certain which vehicle I wanted when I got there. I had already worked with their finance dept. for preapproval, and my salesman, Dustin, showed me a few alternative vehicles. I did end up purchasing my original choice, and on the test drive Dustin described everything about the vehicle, especially how safe the Sorrento is which is a big concern for me. We discussed warranties and service. While paperwork was being prepared, Dustin introduced my to the service department, cashiers..and finally finance. I know Ill feel comfortable and confident returning for my maintenance appointments. Financing was explained thoroughly..and as I mentioned...after a few weeks I am very happy I chose to buy from Jenkins Kia of Ocala and will definitely promote them to friends.

Until now I would have gladly given this place a 5 star rating.They lied to me about things in order to get me to take the car they wanted to sell me,They lied about my ability to bring parts i had brought for my previous car to them to return.They wouldnt let me cancel a contract after less then 24 hrs. I was the one who signed it and I understand its their job to sell cars but i was in a bad place when i signed that contract and they knew it. Good customer service is not a law but it will get you more return customers. 😔

Came in and was greeted immediately and service manager even introduced himself before we even got to negotiating. After the first five minutes of feeling tense Jae assured me I would have a good buying experience and he would take care of me as he noticed I was a bit nervous. I recently bought a vehicle from Jenkins Mazda and my initial experience with the Jenkins enterprise was phenomenal. HOWEVER, the experience with Jenkins Kia was the worst. The salesman I worked with was just doing his job (which I totally understand) but Mr. manager Joe....rude and condescending. Very disgraceful and disrespectful for the Jenkins family to have someone that interacts with their patrons the was that he interacted with us. Long-story short, Jenkins Kia tried to force my family into purchasing products and services that weren’t needed for the sale of the vehicle. Beware of the sales pitch: “...the small fine print on our website says that we can charge you for tax, tag & title, and “fees”...” Use your best judgement and leave Jenkins Kia.Go see the amazing team at Jenkins Mazda for family-quality service and respect.

I had an excellent experience as I was there for regular maintenance and thought I needed a brake job also. As it turned out I was told that I did not need one and it saved me a couple of hundred dollars. They could have easily not told me and put in the brakes and I would never have known that I didnt need them. The honesty and the courteous service keeps me coming. Thank you

Please update your account website to be customer friendly . Being secure is very important, but to not allow a customer who is paying always on time with excellent credit rating to not be able to enter their account because of not remembering username or password when they have the date of birth, VIN Number of the car even the account number and the Social Security number of the buyer is getting to be ridiculous. Ive been waiting for 30 minutes several times but still cannot get through to my account nor can I even chat with anyone! I promise to NEVER BUY another car at this dealership AGAIN!
