I highly DO NOT recommend prestige auto . I purchased a car from them 2 years ago, received a phone call today from them letting me know MY LEASE on the car was up. Shady shady business they have going on. The day I purchased, the word lease was not even mentioned during the deal . DO NOT RECOMMEND. Christian business with horrible business practices. Okay buckle up for this story because it’s a long one! Spoiler alert: I’m sitting in an auto mechanic shop while my car is getting worked on AGAIN as we speak. So my old Honda broke down in April with numerous issues. I found an Acura RDX at Prestige that seemed like a good fit. I took it for a test drive and there was a rotational squealing noise when just driving the car. We told them that if they fixed this issue we would purchase the car. The next business day they said the problem was a “hotspot on the rotor” and the issue had been resolved. So we purchased the car. We were told while we were discussing numbers that the extended warranty would be given to us for free, so I signed the papers not thinking anything of it. Granted, I should have read the papers more carefully but this was my first time buying a car. Within 2 days of purchasing the car, every single warning light lit up on the dash. I had to drive all the way back to Ocala (over an hour and a half drive for me) and get a brand new alternator. I paid the deductible ($100) for my warranty and went on my way. During this whole time (and to this day) however I was also having issues with my stereo system. I went to look over my paperwork to see if the stereo was covered in my warranty. While I was reading it I discovered I was charged nearly $3,000 for the warranty when I was told it was free. Here is where everything spirals. We contacted Prestige and talked to Chase (who helped sell the car, along with Shawn) and after telling him that I was charged for the warranty he said “that’s not right you should have gotten that for free”. We then spoke to Dan who told us “we would never give you a warranty for free”, clearly there needs to be some more communication here because that is what we agreed upon. We told Dan we wanted to cancel the warranty (as it had been within the 60 day cancellation period). He sent over the cancellation form and I signed it THAT DAY. I was informed it would take 6-8 weeks to process. I waited 10 weeks and called the warranty company. They told me they never received any cancellation forms from Prestige. I immediately called Prestige and spoke with Dan who apologetically informed me that my form was never sent in. He promised that it wouldn’t be more than another 2 weeks because he would get it sent in that day. After emailing with Sharon (she was lovely) my warranty was finally cancelled 14 WEEKS AFTER I turned in my cancellation form originally. Thinking this nightmare was over, I’m currently in a mechanic shop because of an awful squealing/metal on metal noise. Who woulda thought! Anyways not sure if this helps anyone or not and I’m not telling you to NOT go there however this was just my experience. Although I do know that they have so many good reviews because they have customers fill them out while they’re waiting for their new car to be cleaned and brought to them. Take that with what you will….sorry for the lengthy story!

I sold a warranty that I didnt want or know about. As far as I know it was never removed. I asked to have it removed and was told 6 to 8 weeks. The warranty company said theres nothing they can do about it so I guess I have to call the better business bureau and take them to court.

If I could give no stars I would. I cannot believe how deplorable this dealership is. Drove from Orlando to look at a truck. Loved the truck and agree to buy it. Drive back the next day after securing the financing and insurance. On the way there we get a call to pull over and get lunch we are selling it to someone else. How could you possibly buy a vehicle from any place that does business like that. No integrity no Honor no accountability.

I don’t know if they are faking the reviews on this dealership or my husband and I was judged by the color of his skin. We jumped through hoops to give them all they needed for a vehicle and then to be approved and not even told the truck we wanted was already sold and someone else was looking at it when we where. Then when we called Knowing the truck was sold Heather asked for more paperwork, we go there to talk to her and she walked up to us said it is sold and literally just stared at us for 30 seconds til we walked away. That is not how a company should be and I wonder if everyone gets treated this way or only the ones of color! I wouldn’t give any stars if I could. Then to talk to the manager and all we said to her she did not tell him so we lost out on a truck my husband truly wanted because of her lack of being professional

Amazing customer service from Tom, but failed to mention my lease required a buyout. Also the insurance spelled my name incorrectly and they said it was ok, seems odd. Car has a on and off check engine light. Hope they can help me service it.Edit: Check engine is gone. Probably an electrical issue.

My grandmother, 77 came in a week ago, shaun insisted on a 04 Kia my grandmother liked the car initially signed the paperwork and cut you people a check. For $800 of the $1200 (ridiculously high) down payment, she was assured by your salesman the car was nothing wrong with the car and it had passed a rigorous inspection.
