Great job painting a sun bleached 2001 Camry with some light rust issues on the hood. Gerardo was honest, didn’t create false expectations, worked with us to find the right paint for the car, and got the work done sooner than promised. We’re quite impressed with the job done by Maaco.

Gerado, Maaco manager did a phenomenal job providing us with detailed information on the process in repainting our 1972 AMC Javelin. We wanted a specific color and they were able to accommodate. We wanted the darkest non metallic grey they could make. They showed us a swatch that looked dark, we approved it. The truck is done now and looks like a very light silver. The job took them 1 month. They didn’t use the right color but it’s done now. Also, they forgot to put the truck badges back on so we had to go back and they ended up putting them on with what they quoted as “cheap tape you can get at Walmart”, which sounded odd but they were trying to insinuate that it’s easy to do and we could have put the emblems back on ourselves. Well, they already fell off the truck and are lost, it didn’t last 2 weeks. So, we’re ordering new emblems and going to have them professionally done so they stay on. I would say you get what you pay for but we paid $3,600 for the paint and some rubber window trim replacements. We didn’t even paint the inside door jams because that was another $600 more ($150 per door jam). So, we wanted a dark charcoal non metallic color but have a light grey/silver truck now with emblems that fell off. The paint quality looks okay so far, so that’s a positive but it’s only been a couple weeks.

Geraldo from the minute I walked in the door to get an estimate for needed body work on my RAV4. I received an estimate quickly and the price beat other bids by a long shot for the same work. The outcome was fantastic!!! I highly recommend Maaco for all you vehicles needs. 5 star service😊

The work done on my car is decent although it took 2 months to get my car back and I had to keep calling them. They couldn’t really tell me when they would have my car ready when initially they had told me it would take about 2-3 weeks.

They did a great job repairing my dented door, they took all the scratches out, and repainted my whole car in a very professional manner. They are very quick with getting the work done but are very detailed oriented to make sure you get the car back in the condition that you expect it. Very friendly and huge shout out to Sam Vallejo. Very kind and easy to talk too. Highly recommend you go talk to him for anything.

Maaco Oceanside custom painted my car a little over a year ago and did a great job! I recently contacted Gerardo at Maaco Oceanside to have some rust spots repaired and painted in the tops of my windows, window rubber replaced and roof rack painted on my 2003 Lexus RX 300. Once again they did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. I have already referred a couple of friends to Gerardo and know they will be very satisfied!

Paint on my Mercedez Benz bumper was ok but after the work my fog light doesn’t work. They said they will send to the shop to trouble and will call me once they got the schedule. They never call me back. I called them and left a voice mail multiple times and never hear back from them.

Service was professional, price was fair, and Phillip was great to deal with. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I was very pleased with the service, Manager Gerardo Villa treated me like one of the family. He explained to me the cost I was looking at. He gave me all the information on labor, parts, and taxes. He kept me informed on the status of part delivery. The repair was done right, I’m very pleased with the time it took to fix my issue. I wrote an excellent review on Yelp because they deserve it. One of the reasons I decide to go to this particular MAACO was because of the great yelp reviews.

There is a reason why this shop is highly rated. It has been more than 6 months since Ron and his team redid the entire roof panel on my 2004 Ford Expedition. The price was competitive, the work was very good and Ron is easy to work with. The only issue I can think of was that my roof rack was reinstalled backwards. Not a big deal, I took it off and put it back on correctly. The paint is high quality and has worn well over the course of the past few months. Hopefully you all find this helpful since I am posting after a decent amount of time has passed. Sometimes that means more than the immediate post right after the work is done. Im going back for a quote to do a full repaint on my other vehicle.3/8/2017 - Update. The paint is still in really good shape and looks like it will outlast the vehicle itself. Great job.

This is the kind of craftsmanship and work ethic that you want every place to exhibit nowadays. I was very pleased with the work they had done to my vehicle when I brought it in. It took a while to get fixed but when I asked them to finish a day early because I was going to be too busy the next day to pick my jeep up, they went above and beyond to get my vehicle ready in time. Take your business here if you want the job done right the first time.

Went in for a quote. Everything was going good. Gerardo, I think that’s his name. He was the manager. He greeting me nicely and begin to do an estimate. One customer arrived, he went out to help him. Kept me waiting for 10 minutes. Another customer arrived, helped that customer while he kept me waiting with my two kids inside the office. I was keeping my cool. He came back inside after 30 minutes and said that he couldn’t help me. That my estimate will be more than what Fix Auto estimated me for. Fix auto estimated 1,500. He estimated over 2,000 just for the bumper. You can tell he didn’t want to help me. You can tell he didn’t want my business. Never again. I don’t recommend this place at all. They WASTED my time.

I went to the Maaco in Oceanside and had talk to a gentleman named Dave. Dave was so knowledgeable I know exactly what I needed. The price was excellent. He said my car would be done in four days. Call me to let me know they had some problems with one of the machinery . Dave hook me up with the Rent-A-Car and call me when it was done. Good service- car ready in time announced by service agent, Geraldo. Only complaint is that the “Civic” decal put back on car was a little crooked as I noticed it right away. Perhaps it won’t be noticeable to others. Otherwise, the repair and paint job were good.

I had a collision in FL that the Maaco there didn’t take care of. I counted about 12 instances where my truck wasn’t taken care of from paint imperfection to paint incompletion to not replacing damaged parts.I call this one one in Oceanside for my warranty and they can’t even provide me with warranty information. I had to call corporate to have them tell Oceanside to tell me the info. So I return the phone call to Oceanside and ask they rather discuss it now or discuss it in 48 hours when they’re required to call me. The Oceanside Maaco Representative on the phone says he rather wait 48 hours. His rude attitude didn’t help the situation given I was utmost respectful until he couldn’t do his job.So 1 star customer service. Would not recommend. Compared to Tony’s Auto Body X-perts in Oceanside; Tony is one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Kind, knowledgeable, personable, professional, and fair.Let’s see if they manage to do their jobs and fix my truck so I can return here for more reviews on the work and 2nd customer service encounter. You’d think that if one Maaco sucked at doing their job, at least a different Maaco 2,500 miles away would be different, but so far I see no difference.

We bought our son a used car and took it to a few different auto shops to get quotes.It was a gold color and had a few missing paint spots .I called Maaco and decided to stop by after our phone conversation. We dropped the car off on Friday after agreeing on the price and color.And on Wednesday evening we picked up a silver car, that didn’t even look like the car we dropped off. Aside from a rain delay the car was finished in a timely manner. Car was clean when returned. They had my car for three full days. The very light body work took one day, but to replace a cracked windshield took until the last half hour of the third day. Also, it was not done well...theres a gap in the edging around the glass that may or may not leak when it rains. When I pointed this out, I got Oh, it was like that before. (It was not.) Living in Oceanside, I may not drive in a hard rain for two or more years, so it may take that long to see if itll leak. Also, they left my car under a tree and returned it to me covered in bird feces that took me almost two full hours of hard scrubbing to get it off my car, and some of that feces got inside my car when the windshield was off, permanently staining a part of my dashboard. When they called and told me my car was ready, I had 25 minutes, on a Friday in rush hour, to get there before they closed. When I said I was leaving immediately, I was not so nicely reminded, We close at six. Meaning, Youd better hurry. And to top it off, they left a lot of greasy, dirty finger and hand prints that they couldnt be bothered to wipe off. More scrubbing with chemicals. Overall, I doubt Id willingly return there.

Great shop amazing staff we had help from phillip morace and he was fantastic he kept us updated with everything got us the best deal possible. They did fantastic work and got everything done in a timely manner I will definitely go back for other projects.

One of the worst auto shop experiences Ive ever had (and Ive had a few). Took my car in for door and fender repair and was told I would receive an email quote the next day that I never received. When I finally received the quote I dropped the car off and they quoted me for a completely different price much higher than the emailed quote. I was kept completely uniformed about the vehicle the entire time it was there. I called multiple times and was told each time it would be done that same day and they would call me for pickup and it was not. Ended up taking them 9 days for repair. Wont be coming back.

A girl with Geico caused an accident with me and I wasnt satisfied with the shops Geico sent me to, so I went to 3 or 4 shops on my own and ended up deciding to go with Maaco and Im so glad I did. Theyre not the biggest or fanciest place around but there is a reason they have such good ratings both here and yelp! Very trustworthy, fair, and competent. Every staff member I spoke to was great as well.

Maaco of Oceanside on Production Ave. is the best! The service is excellent and they definitely know their business. I had bodywork and two-tone painting done to a 1976 Ford truck and the bright medium blue metallic paint and cream white exactly match the original factory colors. They use Dupont paint and the truck now has the finish of a new vehicle. The paint job is brilliant! They did a fantastic job on my two cars. I have two Volvos (S70 and S80) that had sun damage and door dings. They took care of everything for a reasonable cost. The 2 step paint process resulted in a factory finish. My cars are 10 and 11 years old and look like new!!

Very pleased. I brought them an older Nissan Xterra. Budget was a concern considering the age of the vehicle. My paint had peeled in many places. The truck came back looking factory painted. I had removed all the glass,door handles, bumpers, plastic, and rubber molding. The finish looks amazing. Minimal overspray and straight as an arrow. While putting the truck back together at my shop. Many neighbors came by to take a look. The compliments were numerous. All were impressed with the work and shocked at the price. I am restoring a 71 Datsun 240Z. After seeing their performance on the X. I would not hesitate to let them handle the paint when the time comes. Prep is the key. The more you do? The happier you will be. My truck went to them as essentially a shell. And came back looking factory new. Highly recommend this shop

Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Paint Of Oceanside charged me for 4.5 hours of maintenance time when the job took only 90 minutes! Their rate is $50 an hour... I was waiting in their lobby for the process from start to finish and upon completion 90 minutes later, I questioned the time they charged me for and they told me thats just the standard time it usually takes. If its before or after itll still be the same price?? Whats the point of having an hourly rate if you dont charge by how many hours a job takes. Great work on the car, but amature management/customer service. Ill be going to Caliber and Collision if I ever have another issue.

Ok, Ive waited awhile to post, but am giving 5 stars though there were plenty of issues and the first paint job was the ugliest green youve ever seen.Every day I love my fun blue paint job. I really truly do and it was worth every penny. I found that blue, but they did it and did it well. Good coverage and AWESOME AWESOME color.At the end of the day, these guys did a great job. Im endlessly happy with it. So 5 stars.

I went to Maaco. Thats all I can say. The manager cant manage multiple tasks. Made promises but failed to deliver on most. They did remove and replace the damaged parts. Worked with 4 different service writers to agree on terms. They had my car for days after repair and failed to call me. Found my car in the public parking lot unlocked. I hope the over spray comes off. It looks like dust but cant be sure until i wash it. I gave it to them freshly washed and they gave it back like that.

Richard Eshbach delivers on his word and takes care of his customers with the highest level of integrity. Over the course of several interactions re: my car, Richards professionalism and thoughtful explanations/insight helped turn a rocky patch (in life) into a bearable one by expertly taking on the car issues; I didnt have to hover or check in/worry at all. He listened and let me fully explain my concerns when I came for an estimate, reflected on the larger picture and broke down the top couple of options so I could choose how I wanted to solve the car issue. His expert project management made for the easiest experience Ive had as a car-owning consumer, anywhere. As a bonus, the final cost of the parts came out slightly under his original estimate; thanks to the extra effort and creativity he put in to keeping the parts costs low. If car trouble looms large at the moment you were overwhelmed to begin with, Richard Eschbach is the pro you need. I hear he likes pecan pie best, so if you work with him, youll know what to bring to say thanks when you pick up your car. I am so pleased to find a business that is true to their word... my 2001car is mechanically sound less than 90k on it - yet the clear coat had failed miserably - looked like it had sunburn. MACCO provided the most competitive quote and their Staff was helpful and friendly. just got the car back today... the paint looks great - took longer to do than i wanted - i am impatient LOL... BUT discovered it was worth the wait... there was a bit of over spray - to be expected and this was mentioned as a possibility... i would highly recommend them. if any problems develop i will update the results.

Awful Place. Extremely unproffesional. I called because they hadnt called me after several days and they didnt even know which vehicle was mine even though i specifically told them and they still couldnt figure out the status of my vehicle. Been 4 days and nothing has been done even though it said it would take 2 days. Dont go here
