Had a wonderful experience with Deanna’s assistance. She gave this military veteran excellent customer service which unfortunately isn’t the case in many businesses. She was pleasant, warm and professional throughout our visit. My husband had some concerns and she addressed them quickly. I’ve been a customer here for years and I’m glad she’s a part of the team!

I have had my storage here for a few months due to an unexpected family move & was astounded by the low rate I got for my space. I had the pleasure of working with Rodney, who has extremely great customer service. He has been nothing but respectable, patient, and understanding of my situation and, at times, my impatience with storage lock. Rodney not only had to break into my storage with a drill because of my negligence (I lost the key within a month! Can you believe it?) But Rodney also found me a completely new space soon after on the lower level because I was having issues on the upper level which he also had to adjust the lock for because I couldnt get the lock to function with my key because it was a tad bit older unit. Its a private location, safe, and very well maintained. I definitely recommend it for the service and the safety.

My experience was very relaxed and pleasant, informative. I was very impressed with Angie she’s been taking care of me for the few times that I called about my storage rental, made me feel very comfortable that I’m storing my belongings with Extra Space!!!I will surely recommend extra storage space to all my friends and family!!!

To get a unit was quick and easy. Called on the phone and then went in to have the managers both welcome me and send me on my way pretty quickly. Nice and clean area too.

I’ve been with Extra Space Storage 4567 Oceanside Boulevard for about a year now and there’s been nothing but excellent service I feel safe being there at all different times of the day. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I had stopped by earlier to look for a unit that would fit my easement of accessibility. At that moment nothing was available there and they recommended another Extra Space Storage not far from them I should check out, because they had the type of unit I was looking for. They even offered to put me on their waiting list. Remembering me they gave me a call about 2 hours later asking if I was still interested because someone checked out of a unit type I was interested in. When I went there the staff was very friendly and helpful assisting me the process and paperwork. Highly recommend this facility.

I was in a rush and dealing with a lot when I arrived not long before office was closing. They were extremely kind and more than willing to help. Angie made everything very quick and easy. Very friendly and very convenient! Im willing to pay a little extra to have the later gate hours. Lots of places there Gates close at like 7pm and if you work that makes things difficult

Extra Space Storage made storing my belongings a easy and fast process. The property was clean and kept up. No reason for me to think that there might be a problem. When I moved out I was notified via email that the account was closed and they thanked me for my patronage. Definitely would use their service again.

I definitely had a smooth transition experience moving into a smaller space. The employees are very friendly they directed me to my storage unit and told me all of the policies with no issue accessing the unit. The price is worth the distance if you are traveling further to rent space!

I loved the ease of moving in online and access fully online with no contact move in. I had a situation where time was of essence and was able to move in after hours. This is, by far, the cleanest, most well-run and up-to-date (technology-wise) storage facility I’ve ever used. Any questions I had were answered immediately and they went above and beyond for my move-out. If I ever need storage in the future this is definitely where I’ll be going for a solution.

Oh, no! Please disregard this! I meant to post for the Melrose Ave location. Apologies to this location, which I actually left for my current location before it was purchased by Extra Space Storage. No getting away from them, lol. Five stars for cleanliness and running a good operation but minus two for the outrageous annual rent hikes! Mine just went up $38.00 -- a full ten percent -- this week. I understand incremental rent increases but this is plain greed, especially in a time full of economic challenges.

This is the first time renting on line and paying for a storage, without talking to anyone. Picked my code, then went to the storage and walked around till I found it, then broke off this tab off the door and start moving in. Oh the coolest thing of all there was a brand new lock in the storage, and they cut the side so you could get the lock out without needing something to cut it open!If you want contactless this is the storage to rent! First off, I hate storage units. However, as they are a necessity in life from time to time Extra Space Storage is one of the best to deal with. The staff here are very friendly and very helpful. A few years ago I had another storage unit with another company, not mentioning any names (P.S.) but they were awful. The business model at the other place (P.S.) seems to be built around hammering you with you fees left and right. I also had things stolen from my unit, which had to be done by employees of the place, but never got any resolution for that. Extra Space storage was very easy to work with and through the tough times of COVID have been very good to me and helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.

This storage facility is one of the best I have ever used!!!! Employees are exceptional customer service and support . My unit for storage I described over the phone to the site manager. Hes awesome. He know his stuff. The facility is gated, very well maintained. Security is high end outside of storage units and on the outside grounds. Prices for storage units are THE BEST!!! I checked around. I would RECOMMEND this storage facility for anyone NEEDING extra space

I’ve used this facility on two separate occasions now and it has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and you can reserve units online (and usually at a cheaper rate!). Units are clean and affordable, and payment is easy. I will continue to use this location again if needed in the future!

Within 15 minutes of submitting an online reservation I received a phone call from Sergio. He was honest with the available space they had within size we were looking for. We later stopped by the office and Rodney helped us out in the office and it was a swift set up. We appreciate the cleanliness and professionalism at this location.

This is my first time doing business with this storage company. Was able to lock in at an amazing online rate. They were quick to contact me when I placed the reservation. Rodney was awesome in getting me setup with the all ins and outs of my unit and the facility. Overall, I had a great service experience with this location and would highly recommend it.

Great location for me, signing upwas easy and the personnel was friendly. The only thing I don’t like is that there are no lights so be prepared with a flashlight when you need to look for your items.

The guy that was there was rude. Come running out of the office yelling at me. An everytime i go there he has something to say to me

All in all, our storage experience with this store has been positive. We experienced increased friction and inability to receive military discount by a former employee, requiring us to make 2 additional (otherwise unplanned) trips to the location to have the issue resolved. After that, Amanda took good care of us and we are grateful for her kindness and attention to our issue.

The personnel at this facility are without question some of the best. When we first moved here the first group was okay, but now its outstanding.A Lot of improvements have taken place and the facility has improved a great deal and as I understand more is to come.Cost always is an issue for everyone and its no different here. However the folks here make the corporate side palatable.

Relatively clean facility. Friendly office personnel. However the Management is not willing to do anything for their customers. Corporate chain with ever increasing expensive prices. Ive looked around and found much better pricing elsewhere. I am planning on changing to another storage place soon. Extremely disappointed with Extra Space Storage. I would not recommend them to anyone.

ExtraSpace storage in Oceanside is a great resource everyone should use. My experience with Rodney and Sergio at this facility was wonderful. I had to move my stuff out on very short notice and they waived the 30 day notice for me. What generosity!
