My partner and I always, always use the Ogden U-haul location on Wall Avenue. We really have never had anything to complain about. The employees there are always really helpful and I have actually never had a bad interaction there; which is pretty hard to say these days. Two associates in particular, Erik and Jeffrey were really great and their customer service was above expectations. I would also like to comment on their climate controlled storage units. Theyre freaking awesome. Ive had three separate units over the last couple of years and they are always well maintained and pretty dang secure. My partner and I are super grateful to this U-haul location and will continue to use their services. You should consider them too!

If negative stars were possible Id give negative 5. The employees are rude, unprofessional and useless. The worse of them all is the GM. We rented a unit to store our newborns clothes and some appliances until we could move into our new apartment. They tell you that you can access your unit till 10 but really its till 5. We went around 8 PM after finally getting moved into our new apartment to get my daughters clothes and our TV and microwave and what not and could not get in no matter what we tried. The sign by the doors says for after hour use a QR code. That doesnt work. Than it says call the GM Sierra Kennedy I believe. Called multiple times off of two different phones only for her to start rejecting our calls and finally block our numbers. When I left a voicemail to express I would be filing a complaint they took it upon themselves to put a past due lock on our unit the following day. We never got in the night before so the next day when I got there and saw the lock I went to the front office where they then served me an eviction notice. I paid my rent 10 days early to stay on top of it and this all happened only 5 days after my rent was even due. So I received no refund, a head ache, my fiance was late to work and we had an even more stressful time moving than we would of had other wise. Worse experience with any company ever in my entire life. Do not rent here the prices are bad but the employees (mainly management) is the absolute worse.

This was my chosen drop off location. My truck had some mechanical issues with it, and both employees at the front desk were courteous and helped me sort everything out in a matter of minutes. This is an excellent location! Awesome customer service.

I had a great experience while i had my things in storage with UHaul for the most part only negative was how my storage unit was upstairs and the fact of my dad not being able to see or access it with me as he is in a wheelchair and there wasnt a way for him to get to it.

I made an appointment about 10 days ahead of time to have a hitch put on my car. I was told in would take 30 minutes. When I arrived they told me it would be ready at the end of the day. I told them I had an appointment and was I was told it took 30 minutes. I checked back an hour and a half later. They told me it had been processed as a “drop off”. I had to wait another hour. It seemed making an appointment was uselessJulie

I had a reservation guaranteed with a credit card. After driving cross country the manager cancelled my reservation the morning of the day I was scheduled to arrive and I got a notification saying that I cancelled it and rented it to someone else. I tried to call but they didnt answer. I got there and the lady was rude. She completely ignored the fact that I had a reservation and told me that there were no more units like the one I rented available so I had to either go down to 5 x 5 at about the same price I reserved a 8 x 10 for, or go up to a 10 x 10 for $35 more per month ($100). I tried to explain that I had a reservation and wanted them to honor the price but she didnt care. I tried to call U-Hauls customer service number but after being on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone I gave up and rented the $100 unit because I had no choice by that time. Oh, and they wont let you put your own lock on the unit, you have to buy one of their locks. Do a google search and youll find there are plenty of higher rated places that are less expensive around here.

The prices are horrible. All sorts of hidden fees. They tried to charge me 68 after I had already paid for the truck and mileage up front. I called and asked what the new charge was for and they said they couldnt find anything. Then said I owed them another 46. The truck broke down on me twice and was dirty inside. I went a total of 32 miles round trip with the truck and paid over 100 dollars total for it. I never want to deal with uhaul again but especially not this location!

Plan to wait all day. I had made appointment to have a hitch installed on my vehicle, weeks in advance. Was told to expect less than an hour to install. I showed up 20 minutes early, to allow for check in an have spare time. After 2.5 hours I still didn’t hear from them. So I went to shop an was told “oh we haven’t even got to your vehicle yet, it will be 45 minutes max”, I sat in wait area for over 1.5 hours waiting. What should have been an hour took over 4 hours. I get being 15-20minutes behind but 4 hours. The commutation was non existent unless I initiated it. Just not a good experience

I was helping some friends move some stuff from here to Las Vegas. They had booked the Uhaul and unfortunately put it under their name and not mine. The two girls that were there when I went to pick up the truck were so incredibly rude. I’m an understanding person; it was early in the morning and a confusing/frustrating situation and I completely understand that. However, that does not give them the right to be as rude as they were. They very clearly did not want to help me. If I can help it, I will not be using this Uhaul again.

The manager of this location Sierra is rude and condescending. She actually said And I quote I dont have to rent you a truck as she said I was being rude and dismissive. The question is one persons idea of rude and or dismissive is not necessarily anothers. She is wound too tight and needs to relax so the rest of their customers might actually rent here more often. Last time my company rents from this location or from U-haul at all. They are not the only game in town. I would advise anyone reading this find another place to rent a vehicle

We bought insurance, our car got damaged because it was too low for the ramp (they told us our unmodified car make and model was approved for the ramp etc), and they said they wouldnt pay because we should have realized that by moving our car, it would get damaged... super not happy.

I made a reservation 3 weeks ago for a hitch installation and to reserve a trailer. I show up the day before (today) to check in and see if I can move my reservation time up. The woman helping me was very nice but she proceeded to tell me that the hitch I had ordered has been on back order, and wouldn’t be here by the time I leave on Wednesday. That would have been nice to know before 2 days before my departure. If I would have showed up tomorrow, I would’ve been out of luck.Again, very nice person helping me out but the overall communication with customers is poor.

To rent a truck you have to have a credit or debit card. Makes it difficult for those who pay cash. The girl at the desknon Saturday morning was totally rude. I would live to haul her somewhere. The only employee that morning that was Any kind of nice was the Hispanic girl cleaning.

We recently used the U-haul storage pods (U-box) service to ship items cross-country. My husband, at pick up in Ogden, was greeted by Gabe. He connected the trailer and made a real investment of time and energy to make sure our car could take it on the road safely (it wasnt a U-haul issue). His attitude was positive the whole time, and eased what could have otherwise been a stressful experience. Thank you for going above and beyond!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with customer service in my life. I went in several days ago to have a car transport hooked up to a truck that I had taken two days prior to pack, and this is when I encountered SIERRA KENNEDY. For anyone who has had a bad experience with a blonde woman who would not give her name or says any variation of “my name is on the door” or “it’s my store”, this is her. I told her I was there to hook up a transport, first it seemed like she couldn’t even find my information at all, then she proceeded to tell me that I still owed about $100, that I hadn’t paid the full amount or they credited back that amount to my account for no reason, which makes no sense at all. (I had paid the full price of $842 a couple of days prior with another employee, who was very kind and helpful. I was there for almost 2 hours because the system would not let my transaction go through due to the trailer size I selected, because it would not support my car type. Long story short, I was upgraded at no extra charge because of this error that the website did not specify, and the full amount would have originally been $950). I told her this was incorrect, as I had already paid the full amount of $842 (she said I only paid $600 give or take. How you only get $100 from $842-$600 is beyond me, which tells me this woman manipulates the system to extort people). I even provided a receipt of the previous transaction and showed her my bank statement to prove that the full amount was paid for, and nothing was credited back. Then she proceeded to tell me that she would not hook up the trailer/transport until I paid. I told her I wasn’t paying and that I wasn’t leaving until I was set to go. She then said she’d call the police and have me escorted out. I took out my card and tossed it on the table out of frustration, she then threw it back at me told me she would call another location and have them call me because she would not do business with someone who “threw something at her”. Mind you, this is all on the morning of when I’m supposed to be moving from Utah to California. I bit my tongue and apologized to her through tears of frustration, and she agreed to finally hook it up but would still be charging my card. She did all of this through a nasty, spit full, slithering tone and then proceeded to snarl at me “HAVE A NICE DAY”.DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION.I won’t even go on to say a lot of things I want to....instead I just feel sorry for this woman. Judging by how she treated me (and a lot of other customers/employees from the comments in here), she must have a very sad life. And I feel sorry for her. I really hope she gets the help that she needs.

The whole team here was extremely friendly and helpful. Uhaul as a company, not so much. Long story short, I limped into the parking lot with the transmission in my rented truck on the way out. Jeff diagnosed the problem immediately, and Sierra reserved a replacement truck. Erik was also extremely kind and sympathetic. Unfortunately, at that point it was out of their hands and I was at the mercy of Uhaul roadside assistance, which is unfortunately fundamentally broken. I had to wait four hours for a mechanic to arrive and verify what the employees onsite already knew, and he in turn waited on hold for 45 minutes to get authorization from corporate to give me a new truck. If Uhaul trusted the judgement of their employees on the ground, I could have been on my way the same day, rather than waiting until the next day to get a replacement truck, and movers to transfer my property into it.

I had a great experience here. The staff was very helpful and professional. The equipment I rented was in excellent condition and ready to go. Sierra was very knowledgeable and helpful . She hooked up the tow dolly and guided me on so my car was positioned properly. She crawled underneath the car to secure the safety chains. She positioned and secured the tie down straps over the tires. She made sure I knew what to check on each stop to keep everything secured. We had a safe and enjoyable move. Thank you Sierra and your crew.

I saw mixed reviews and was wary. But I received exception service both with Corey when picking it up (very friendly and informative) and with Jeffrey when dropping it off (very friendly, helpful, sense of humor). Overall great experience and truck worked great, was clean, etc.

Worst customer service Ive ever recieved. Nothing like going through a stressful move and have the service girl treat us like a complete waste of her time and day. Eyes rolling, loud sighs and all while Im paying for the truck. Basically being called a liar about the miles we would be traveling, she put us down for 25 and only did 7, after we told her no more than 10 in the first place. Never again will I go there for business... and to think we were about to rent a storage unit from them... NOPE!

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Best customer service I have gotten in years! Really very happy with them. I needed a tow package installed on my Honda Pilot. The price was great, and Gabe even called me and saved me a lot of money be recommending an adaptor instead of a new electrical line. They had great prices on the ball and shiv for the tow package (way better than Home Depot or Autozone) and helped me put it together and install it correctly for free after purchase. Great great great experience! I recommend them for anyone looking for a good price and excellent customer service!

BE CAREFUL!!This uhaul location is not helping to prevent the spread of covid-19. They are part of the problem. Not a single staff member that we saw while entering the store was wearing a face mask. Nor were they requiring customers to have one on. We decided to not rent from them and left.

Cathi Clark was rude and seemed annoyed to help us. She did end up giving us a bigger trailer even though we didnt want a larger trailer but we where a little late to our reservation. I guess it was the only one one that was available. She asked if she asked us if we wanted insurance and we declined.We ended up taking the storage and she told us to be back by 6:45 p.m. because they close at 7.We return the trailer at 6:50 p.m. and found out that somehow we are now paying for insurance when we had declined it.Also we called because we were going to be there at 6:50 rather than 6:45 and the guy on the phone said, We kind of cutting it kind of close and thats it, no pleasantries no nothing.Guy that was checking us in was new so I will cut him some slack but there is also no pleasantries with him . He just said you cant drop it here you need to go over to the behind the other trailer .Thats when we found out that we were charged for insurance when we had already declined it and Erik simply said sorry we cant take it off. He was nice but not helpful.My suggestion would be not to go here.

There computer were not working at the first transaction but they charged me for the hitch on the first transaction then wrote down my credit card information on paper and said they were going to charge me once the computers were up and running this was in a six hour span when they charged me again the 2nd time. Im not safe with my credit card information being written down cause their computers were down and have 2 charges pending really unhappy with this service

Wish I could give no stars. This place is a mess! The employees are clueless as to how to use their computer system. They have terrible attitude and no customer service training. It seems like there is always 1 person working and several others standing around doing nothing but bitching to each other. Multiple times I have gone in and there would be several people in line and only one person helping at the desk. One time I could visibly see one employee sitting at a desk on his phone playing a game and two others sitting down eating pizza and there were more than 5 people waiting to be helped. I get that we all need a lunch break, but come on! This is the fourth year in a row I have used this location for an annual work event. Every year seems to get worse! They have never managed to keep my reservations correct. I go in months in advance, book everything out, get the reservation papers, everything seems to be good, NOPE! I reserved the U-hauls for 5 days, two days in they were calling asking where the trucks were. They demanded we bring them back. That was not possible. I had confirmed reservations to pick up a couple more U-hauls the following day. They did not have have the trucks. We had to go to Sunset to pick one of them up and they would not let us return it to Ogden! They offered ZERO apologies. They only expressed frustration. When I went back and looked at the reservation papers I was given at the time of booking, I realized the 5 confirmations had all of the return dates as the days we reserved it. I was scheduled to return all 5 of the trucks 3 months before I even picked them up! Yes, I should have caught this, but I was so frazzled after spending nearly two hours at the location to book 5 trucks. Another year I tried booking online, all was good until pick up at this location. Their systems are completely out of date. I am going to go out of my way to a different U-Haul location from now on, even though this one is less than a mile from my work. We have spent thousands of dollars at this location, NO MORE! I am done dealing with their incompetencies and lack of customer service!

Pick up was fine. However we needed to modify our reservation to be a different driver and the 2 employees had no idea how to do it. In fact they couldnt even locate our reservation. Waited 10 mins before just calling 1800GOUHAUL and sorting it out ourselves. (Just call this # first and see if they can answer your questions.) Bathrooms are GROSS GROSS GROSS.

I needed to rent an appliance dolly and they were having issues getting the card to go through. I tried another card and the issues were still happening. The staff let us take the dolly even though they couldnt get the card to go through. They were so helpful and made sure I was able to get what I needed even though their system was having issues.

If you had a trailer hitch put on your vehicle, get the wiring checked! I had a trailer hitch put on my 2015 forester at this location. I began to experience electrical... anomalies... well call them. If I pushed my breaks, the right turn signal would also light up, if I put my right turn signal on, the break lights would light up and cancel my cruise control. I took it into the Subaru dealership where they discovered that the wiring had been cut into and the wires for the hitch had been simply wrapped around the exposed wiring. Long story short... its going to be $2200 to repair... Do not go here...

I love that the units are in doors, monitored 24 hours a day and temperature controlled. The unit leading was pretty simple and fast as well. A certain kind of lock is required which they do sell for $10. In my opinion, the prices are pretty dang fair compared to many other places who offer far less for the price.

Im just going to paste a message that I sent to there office.From the beginning - I made an online reservation for one of your trucks for 02/03/2016 for 4pm. Your employee couldnt find my order anywhere in your system even after I showed him the confirmation email. He said that it wasnt a problem and that he did have a truck that I could take. Just like online The total price would be around $50 plus whatever I spend on gas. That was fine. Ive used Uhaul before and never had any issues. I told your Rep. That I wouldnt be returning the truck until the next morning, and he ASSURED me (and I called in the day before) that I would only be charged those fees + a $100 deposit that would be returned to me, Unless I exceeded 24 hours of use. Again that was fine and understandable. So what happens when I return the truck? I find out that because I went off by 11 miles from your reps 65 mile estimated use. That I would charged $110 and some change!?! I knew about the gas fee, I didnt care. But being charged an additional $50 just for going 11 miles over YOUR ESTIMATION IS COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT!!!

My wife and I recently had her belongings stored in this facility, while we were moving. When we came to retrieve our belongings, we found that roofing tar had been spilled all over our stuff we brought it to the attention of staff and they gave no concern asking if we had renters insurance. To no fault of ours, and no notifications they decided to do some work on the roof of they’re building. They sent us to the rigorous path of talking to their customer service representative’s to try to get it remedied and did nothing to help. I do not suggest anybody store their stuff here. We didn’t even get a we’re sorry for the inconvenience or problem. We paid for our stuff to be stored in a safe climate controlled facility and did not get what we paid for. And I can’t figure out why I’m am responsible for damages that they do, my insurance should not be liable they should.

On 10-15-2018 I rented a U-Haul truck in Provo, UT. to move to Ogden, UT.The rental truck deal went off with out a hitch. The Provo U-Haul people were great. They told me I even get a free months storage at the Ogden U-Haul Storage facility because I used a U-Haul truck.A month goes by and I went to the Ogden U-Haul office to pay for the next months rent. The Manager asked me for my address so I gave her the address.She advised me that I would have to give her a residential address. I told her the address she had was my residential address.She stated that I needed to give her a different address because she had sent two letters to my address and the letters were returned.I told her that was my current address and I do receive mail there. I had also received a letter from the Ogden U-Haul there. She told me I would have to give her a different address or she could not accept my payment for my storage unit.I advised her my payment was due the next day, and I gave her the only address I had. She would not accept my payment.She put me in a very bad situation she would not take my payment and if I didnt make a payment my rental would expire the next day.I told her it didnt make any sense, but she would not budge. I became frustrated and upset. I told her that it was F..in B.S.I moved my things to a different storage and they accepted my address and even let me use their truck for free to move.The Ogden U- Haul Manager Sucks, but I thank her because my new storage company is so much better, and reasonable.Ill never deal with Ogden U-Haul again.

I own a local moving company. Over the course of my company’s existence, I’ve rented hundreds of Uhauls from all over the state. Unfortunately, I have always run into unwanted problems with Ogden U-Haul. From unpleasant staff to outrageous charges, this U-Haul has been nothing but a headache. After this most recent experience (being charged for a three day rental when the truck was dropped off only after a few hours), I’ve decided it’s not worth doing business at this location. Better off renting elsewhere.

Bad business. I rented a trailer of of state headed one way. When I went to drop off the staff refused to check in and provide a receipt, they ensured me it would be checked in by end of day. Surely enough it didnt and a week later I got several harassing calls to immediately return the equipment.

We are having an interesting time with U-Haul right now we were in there parking lot with the U-haul when it had a flat tire. And wouldnt you know they made us call roadside assistance instead of dealing with it themselves. We will see if theres any compensation for the time that we have lost.

There is a woman working at this location who has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Her name is Lisa. She went into my profile and changed my pickup time without my authority. This woman called me at 9 in the morning, woke me up and asked me if I wanted to cancel my order because they didnt have the truck and trailer that I reserved a week ago. I said thats a stupid question, of course I need the truck thats why I made the reservation. She got mad, hung up on me and then went into my account on her own and changed my whole reservation. Its a good thing that I have notices sent to my phone and could see exactly what she did. This woman deserves a good smack, too bad thats illegal, she would benefit from it.

Daniel McGinnis helped me and he was so kind and accommodating. He actually made my whole day, and when I dropped off the van I was hoping Id be able to thank him but it was so busy I didnt have a chance, so I figured this was the next best thing!They made a daunting task seem manageable. Im so relieved I was able to move what I needed to and the process was so simple!(Also, anyone that complains of slow service has probably never worked in the service industry. They had very few people working for the volume of customers, which is not their fault, but upper managements. I swear people just look for something to complain about. The employees themselves were all super nice and helpful.)

If I had a time machine, Id do three things: stop Hitler, see Pink Floyd when they were just starting out, and NEVER have a tow hitch installation performed here. Everything about the service I received at this location was a nightmare -- from the call center genius who scheduled my appointment before allowing enough time for the special order parts to arrive, to the talentless guy who took 4 hours to install a tow hitch and managed to screw up my vehicles electrical. I was warned about bringing my vehicle to U-Haul for a hitch installation, and Im still kicking myself for not listening. I wound up taking my vehicle to State Trailer to undo the mess U-Haul created, and Ill never go anywhere else. Youve been warned.

I have made 3 appointments to have a hitch installed and I keep getting called to bump me two weeks out. I make these appointments in the store not just over the phone. I have been hung up on by managers. Apparently they dont care about customer service.After contacting the guy over Uhaul for all of Idaho and Utah. I was able to get my issue resolved. He was extremely helpful and Sabrina the manager was nice and helped me resolve my issues and got me into the store very quickly. They restored most ofmy faith in the company.

The facility is decent but the customer service is poor at best mostly because management is just downright rude. The agents are ok but have had issues with contact information not getting updated correctly which causes problems when you have a storage unit and are no longer local. If you ever have a situation like I did where my card had to be replaced because of fraud and youve always been on auto-pay expect management to treat you like YOURE the criminal instead of the long-time autopay customer that youve always been. Now I see why the reviews about the manager in Ogden are what they are. She was very condescending. Customer service really is dead...at least in Ogden.

This place sucks. The manager we returned the truck to was a total b word. She was rude and very unhelpful. She wanted to charge me cleaning and a gas bill despite never telling us that we needed to do that before we returned the truck. She also kept screaming we needed to refer to our contract when asked how much gas there was to put on there. Way to be professional! I will never be going back or recommending you guys to anyone. Id rather take 100 trips to my old and new house in my small car then deal with these guys again.

This place is a rip off! I rented a 6-12 trailer last week for a few hours. I picked it up Saturday at 2 and I dropped it off Saturday at 5:30. The agreed upon price was $32. I just got a receipt emailed to me for $96. Don’t do business with this U-Haul. They are dishonest and will rip you off!

I went to U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ogden this past Wednesday to get a receiving hitch installed. I made the appointment ahead of time through their website. When I arrived, a list of the charges was provided to me, and I signed that I agreed with them. The charges matched what was provided to me on the website. I was shown to the waiting area which had chairs and vending machines (no wi-fi). I also browsed their selection of moving boxes and supplies. The installation was completed within the quoted time of one hour. The technician explained the 2-year wiring warranty and lifetime hitch warranty before ringing up my boxes. After driving around for a few days, the hitch seems fine. Overall, I was pleased.

The Ogden, Utah Uhaul on Wall Ave is grossly understaffed. They are also not great at prioritizing the people who are working there. A 5 minute visit to pay on a storage unit turns into a 30 minute visit almost every time. The people are very nice though.

The phone app needs work. It wouldnt allow me to pick up the truck because the GPS location didnt work so I couldnt progress through the app to complete the paperwork. I called customer service twice and they couldnt help. They finally told me to go inside and start the paperwork over. Big waste of time especially since we had a ton of work to do. The people at the location were great to work with however. I would recommend them just dont count on the app to work.

After almost 10 years of being a loyal customer. I was denied to transfer credit on my closed to my other account. I have been paying for the extra insurance as well. Since 2012 All the managers and staff have always been friendly and professional, respectful towards me. This morning that changed. I am heart broken and stressed out over something easily that could have been corrected. What happened is my loss of my money and their gain of greed, instead of having the integrity of Excellent customer service that Uhaul built their reputation on. I was told that not only will I not get credit transfered I would be charged late fees and be locked out my unit. I have no choice but to be humble and pray. God will take care of the rest. Unlike the policy that they said they have with no transferable credit, Karma doesnt have that policy. As soon as I can I plan to move completely out of Uhaul for good. Hopefully I will find a better company that will treat their loyal customers with respect rather than with greed. Its too bad that the Ogden Uhaul is going down like this. Loyalty is best from both the Company and the Customer.

I use to work here and let me tell you the whole thing went to hell once Sierra become manager there. She treats all of her employees like trash. Literally everyone that I worked with there has quit since. If you can, just avoid this place all together. Its awful for the employees and for customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Ill tell you about my nightmare here. I go and rent a storage shed. No problem. However, somehow my payment got put on autopay through my checking account with absolutely no notice at all. So, when I call no one can explain how it happened. HHMMM So, they dont do the reputable thing and say well we will give you a credit for the overdraft fee you paid. Oh no. I get told nothing at all. So, okay time goes on. I need a bigger unit. I go in. Rent a bigger unit. Pay for it. I grab a UHAUL BRAND LOCK. Pay for it. No one says a word. My family goes and loads some stuff up and take it to Uhaul. There is a different lock on my unit I PAID FOR! I call. Sit on hold for 15 minutes while my family is sitting there in 100 degree weather. I get told that I cant use my UHAUL BRAND LOCK on the unit. WTF? Why didnt someone tell me? Because that would have been the courteous reputable thing to do. No sign. No nothing. Spent money I didnt have for a worthless lock. So, if anyone is looking for a nice UHAUL BRAND LOCK that you CAN;T USE AT UHAUL. Hit me up. Anyway, So I cant get the round worthless lock off. I go ask for help. I am on my lunch need to hurry. I get left sitting there for 15 minutes in 100 degree heat and late for work. Kid comes. Takes it off and drops it in my hand and walks away. I dont know. I taught my sons respect and to say have a nice day or maybe can I help you with something else? Not here! You will be treated with disrespect and the owner acts holier than thou and will call you a liar when you tell her anything. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more distance, time, or money somewhere where your time, money, and you matter.

Layton location was great; Cheerful, helpful and very quick.Location 3421 Wall Ave, Ogden, UT 84401 was terrible. It it the 3rd time Ive been to that location, and they are rude, inattentive and unprofessional. Furthermore, they cancelled my confirmed and checked-in reservation less than an hour after making it, with no phone call, and no offer to substitute a similar trailer. I have rented from Uhaul over 50 times, and will never use this location again.

Do not have a trailer hitch installed here. They do not know how to install on newer vehicles and will run a wire from your battery to the trailer hitch attached with zip ties. It wont matter if your car is pre-wired and you might end up with other issues.

Extremely slow service, I waited over an hour for a simple hitch installment which I ordered a week in advance and was charged immediately for labor. The guy installing the hitch who looked like he just rolled out of bed was rude, after an hour of waiting while he stopped the install to help other customers he finally tells me that they ordered the wrong hitch. On a Saturday at 3421 Wall Ave, Ogden, UT 84401 they had steady business with only three employees working. A lot of people standing around waiting for service. I will get a full refund either through them or my credit card provider and will never return to that location.

This place is a joke. It took a half an hour for anyone to help us and they didnt even know what they were doing. They cant find my reservation even with having used express check in. They tell me there is a rental deposit of $70 if I pay cash even though they said with a card on file they would waive it. I remind them I have a card on file so I shouldnt have to pay the deposit, that I just wanted to pay cash for the trailer. They inform me they cant take cash at this time anyway. Once I pay on my card they tell me they dont even have the trailer I reserved. We got it all worked out finally but yhe experience was enough of a mess that I will not be using U-Haul again, Ill stick to Budget.

They made me wait an hour to fill my propane tank and then told me they weren’t allowed to fill it because it was expired. I get that isn’t their fault but it would have taken ten seconds to tell me it wasn’t fillable when I got there. Add another terrible experience to an already loooong list of bad experiences at the Ogden Uhaul.

This Uhaul has always been good to us. Uhaul as a whole has always made my familys travels feel reliable and safe with all of their equipment and safe checks, as well as the insurance provided on it all. Uhaul has everything you need at the time you need it! This was one of our first stops on our way to Utah from California. The drop off was easy and effortless. Our second stop will be us going back to California! Special thanks to Wayne for being such a cool guy and giving my husband and I such great customer service! That guy needs a raise! I made this reservation online with the exact details of my load. While driving to the location, 100 miles away, I received a text the trailer was at another location an additional 10 miles away. When I arrived at the location, I was advised the trailer would not accommodate my load. I was told I would need to drive 30 miles back in the other direction to pick up the right trailer. I called the regional office to find out what was going on and Patrick, the reg mgr, never, ever, returned my call. I wasted the entire day waiting for him. This is unacceptable.

Reservation was quick and simple when I called for a tow dolly trailer. When we got to the Ogden location we told the guy we would be returning the trailer within 2 hours, which the employee and us knew the store would be closed The trailer was returned a little past closing, the employees were still there, same guy who helped us, even waved to each other. We left the trailer attached to another trailer so it wouldnt get stolen, hence the bad reviews of people living in their storage units, and NO ONE ever around except one guy at the desk. Left our name and alternate number just in case. Received an unprofessional voicemail saying that was unacceptable and they had to cut the lock. The key was there! They only called once! They knew we were bringing it back that night, even saw us! I called back SEVERAL times and kept getting rolled over to customer service dept. They told me to keep calling back. So I did. Then was told they couldnt even find me! Lol! If they cant figure out how to find a key and at least give ample time for someone to return a call AAAAND all the horrible reviews on here.... This place needs an overhaul!!! Apparently this manager doesnt know how to manage and is jipping people out of money, to make their store money. We better not get charged for a lock. If we do, I will raise hell and take it to corporate and the Better Business Bureau. After all these bad reviews about this Sara or Siarra, whatever her name was, she clearly is making this location look bad. I hope she sees this review. Lets not forget the rental was for 24 hours. She should have at least given us till the end of the day. When you make a reservation over the phone, they email you and text you several times with dates and location and confirmation Nmbr and phone number. Why cant they call me several times when there is an issue before resorting to drastic measures?

Costumer service is a joke, I was transferred around MULTIPLE times (I was speaking and was transferred mid sentence without my knowledge and ALSO in mid sentence placed on hold without my knowledge) I never even got to a competent enough person to resolve my issue. My issue? BEING TRIPLE CHARGED FOR MY RENTAL! I have called 4 different times, spoke with countless reps. (locally AND at corporate) with NO ONE being able to VOID THESE CHARGES. They wiped my account and caused me negative with ZERO resolution to give my money back to me that they OVERCHARGED BY TRIPLE! No one was apologetic no one offered compensation for the overcharge and causing me the distress of having to to call SO MANY TIMES and speak with SO many incompetent reps who are being paid for NOTHING. I still have ZERO resolution for being EXTREMELY overcharged. The LOCAL charged me THREE times, Im sure with all the homeless living there they probably dont have the most qualified associates let alone a decent security system. This place is GARBAGE.

Please look at the photos attached to this search I posted two of them. I could not get ahold of anybody after I left the store it sent me to a national person. Her name was Jody. She said they must be busy so the phone was rolled over to her. I said no, I left my cc there and needed to make sure they had it. I said they are not that busy I was just there about 30 minutes ago unless all 4 of them got swamped she wouldnt push me through to the store she told me I need a call back during normal business hours I said it is normal business hours there open and it there doing nothing she said yes they are theyre busy so I turned around from the Canyon came back to the store to ensure that my credit card was safe and they were not in the store I walked around the store and in-and-out of rooms no one was there I walked outside and they were all smoking together and laughing and I said they were losers this place is a joke. My credit card was still in the machine, they did not ID me for it. I could have walked orut of the store with whatever I wanted. After the embarrassment, they stayed together outside. U haul should clean house, a joke.
