I needed a break from everything today so I went to one of my favorite places which is Half Price Books! Such a lovely atmosphere here. The place is well-stocked, the staff is friendly, and its always relaxing to me in there. They have moved some stuff around and created a new manga section, which is great! Love this place!

The employees here are great. I called up and asked about selling my books and the proximity to closing before I went up there one night and from the initial phone call, all the way to selling my books and getting my cash, everyone was helpful and friendly. I understand wanting to get out of there at the end of the night, so I did my best to help expedite the process from my end, but every single body in that building seemed content to be there.

They have a great selection of books at really good prices. Its well organized and the staff are always really knowledgeable and helpful. Almost every time i ask for a book, they know it! How can you know that many books?! Im impressed.

Great store with tons of great books! There have been several times where Ive gone in there looking for a specific book and did not find what I was looking for, however there is always other books that you can find that are still amazing and in great condition. Also you really cant beat their prices.

Found a signed copy of a newer book for only $9! The store has a good selection and nice layout. I appreciate that they have tables to sit at also.

Great experience yet again at Half Price Books another smooth transaction with a great deal including but not limited to the staff are among my favorite features of the store Tammy who was also training Alexi was an amazing help as well as very kind and informative. Urging to put down the four star rating as I walked up to the counter and check out I was forced to put five stars and this amazing review because all of the staff was very informative helpful and they had kind faces. Would definitely come here again and again to do business and would recommend for everybody plus they have coffee and tea who can beat it

Out of all of the HPBs locally I think I might like this one the most. Huge selection, and books I dont often see at the others. Unfortunately I think the sorting isnt as granular as the other two which is slightly disappointing. Overall an amazing choice if youre looking for cheap books, way better than Barnes and Noble or even Amazon.

I cant help but go in to this place every chance I get. First thing i do is hit the clearance section in search of Clive Cussler. They are always nice and very helpful. And you definitely cant beat the prices.

This is a great place to find books, DVDs, and CDs that not just unwanted and discarded. They have hidden treasures of very interesting and hard to find items....depending on your interests.

I have been coming to this half price books for the past 4 years or so and everytime I go in I am greeted kindly. I always seem to find something to add to my collections! I collect blu rays, video games, comics, books, and action figures. Half Price Books always has a nice variety of collectibles even though they are primarily a book store. I will admit I buy most of my books on my kindle now but if I enjoy the book enough I tend to buy a physical copy to throw on the book shelf. If you are looking for a specific books odds are they have it and at reasonable prices as well. The video games are a tad over priced and the selection is small but to be fair they arent a video game store and its nice that they even have a small selection. Same with the Action Figures but sometimes you can find some cooler figures that get traded in. The comics and graphic novel section is always stocked and they even have collectible and more expensive books! The board game and puzzle sections are nice to see considering no other place in the metro seems to have used board games for sale. I have over 100 games and always like to add a unique game to the closet. The Blu Ray and DVD sections are always stocked and are decently price. They even have a $3 clearance section which is great to pick up something new or interesting for cheap. They also have Vinyl, CDs, and Cassettes. Overall Half Price Books is a great place to go to find a little bit up everything at pretty good prices!

Half Price Books is definitely an over looked hidden treasures💰 Great place for anyone who loves books, magazines, records, even maps, posters & much more. Friendly staff never rude or pushy. I called searching for a particular set of books. The store closest to my house didnt have them. They sent for them from another store and called me the next day saying they had them. 90% of the books I own are from Half Price Books, I am not the type of person who needs a brand new copy of a book to be happy, and they are, for the most part, half priced. I am excited to start this new series and soon I’ll be going back to get the rest of it.But I will say, they do not offer much money for used books. They are a bit of a rip off when it comes to that. I’ve seen someone sell books to them for $5 and then the store sold the books for $15 a piece.

Selling prices are somewhat reasonable but what they give on buy back is very low, I took 2 full grocery sacks full of books some of them unread because I had bought extra copies by mistake, they only offered $4.00 for them all

Incredible prices on used books. They also sell new stuff as well. I bought Tithe and a faery Wicca book there as well. They have posters, records, history, religion, young teen, fiction, non fiction, kids section, toys, kits, clothes, bags, journals, DVDs used and new, CDs new and used and much much more. I will be visiting this place often.

Half Priced Books is a great place to buy discounted used books in good to great condition. The store is laid out in a comprehensive manner that makes it easy to find what youre looking for. If you dont know exactly what you want you can lose yourself for several hours browsing the stacks. The selection is absolutely fantastic. Youll find hard and soft back books. If you have books you no longer need they will buy them for cash or give you store credit if youd rather exchange books instead. They also have a pretty decent music and movie selection to choose from.

Seek the glass case for old school video games, the old classic books section, and the concert musicians dvd section.😊very sweet.

I love half-price books but i am sure this location has a lousy management. The best way to tell that just by the disposition of its employees. It’s just the overall attitude of most of them. I hate the way I am treated here so most the time I try to avoid them as much as I can while I’m looking at books. I don’t go there to make friends besides I don’t think they want me there anyway. Ha

I was able to find what I was looking for, but I dont like feeling like Im being stocked by employees.

I love the store. I dont enjoy the people that are checking every book on the shelf with some barcode app while you are trying to browse the shelves. Creeps me out everytime

I took in several totes full of books! They took all of them, gave me what I felt was a fair price, and had me on my way very quickly! In the short time I waited I browsed through the store and was impressed by their selection and prices! The staff was friendly both in person and on the phone! Will return!

I.love books, always have, always will. This temporary glitch that is electronic reading is neither effective nor enjoyable. But all the bookstores are gone. Barnes & Noble is having an incestuous relationship with itself, having been a publisher, and now a retailer. Limited selection.Okay. Now why Half Price Books totally rocks: their books are both new and used, so you may find something out of print, or that you know your friend is never returning the book you loaned her. Pick up anotherAnd check out their paper products that arent books. And they have vinyl! My friends, this is an oasis in a sea of idiocy. Almost everyone prefers reading on paper, and h as s realized that no sound beats vinyl. Check them out!

My favorite place to buy books at great prices, as you would expect by the name of the store. Everythings organized in such a way that its easy to find what it is youre looking for, even if they happen to make some major rearrangements. Books are almost always in good/great condition, and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Clean, neat store with increased space since Covid. Hand sanitizer available on a table where you enter and exit.

Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Store was fairly well stocked with a huge variety. Went looking for specific authors and found at least some by them. Found 6 books we wanted for the family and only spent around 45 compared to the same books new which would have cost at least twice that.
