I was in the store yesterday to buy a nest, but they only had it in the two shades of gray. They didnt have very much detail about the product in the store and the QR code wasnt working, so for someone whos never purchased one it was difficult to get the information I needed. I asked the clerk if they came in any other colors as I would be willing to wait for a blue one. He said he checked and they only come in the two shades of gray so I purchased one. After I get home, I found out my $5 reward was not even applied to the sale. Looking at Best Buy website now, clearly I could have had a blue one shipped to my home for free, instead of driving three cities over to purchase one in a color I didnt want. I dont appreciate being lied to just to get a sales commission, and now I feel I have to decide whether or not Im willing to drive all the way back and wait in line for another half hour just to return it so I can order the one I want. If brick and mortar stores want to survive, they should stop making the shopping experience so disappointing.
Took brand new iPhone 12 in for repair of damage from charger shattered back. Apple care covered paid fee to geek squad but didn’t have in stock said it’d take about a week to come in. 3 weeks later no repair/replace received. A dozen different Best Buy call reps as store number goes directly to call center. No one can figure out where it is or what’s happening. Only transfer to different departments. The call center unable to reach store itself either. DO NOT buy Apple if you don’t live within driving distance of a direct Apple Store. Best Buy and Apple have completely different systems and zero communication or understanding of each other. I’m appalled at the incompetence of this entire situation. Best Buy has lost my respect and patronage for good.

I have purchased what seems like a lot of electronics lately, and Jessica gave my mother-in-law and me the best customer service! Her patience in answering our questions, helped my mom set up her phone just the way she wanted. I will search out Jessica next time I am in town.
Stopped in to buy an internal power supply for my computer, I received excellent service from a store tech, he or I wasnt sure if it would fit in my case, sure enough it woulded .I returned it a couple of days later,the easiest return I think ive ever done .I love the store layout & they are loaded with inventory .
I was able to find Transformers the Animated Movie on 4K and blu -ray here - which was awesome!!! Plus, this Best Buy has some great earphones. I got a pair two years ago - and they still work wonderfully on my PS4, Xbox 1, laptop, and my cellphone. Though theres not as many movies as before, theres still a lot of good movies here, not to mention video games
They installed my new car stereo here and Ryann was fantastic. Professional, friendly and a hard worker. Highly recommend geek squad here!
I spent over $2000 on a good audio install and in return my door panel started falling off. I went to and from Best Buy SEVEN times to get my car screwed up.First I was informed after selecting my install options I had to return to the store to place the order even though I was just there.Secondly I was informed I would need to have parts shipped to my home but I would need to bring them in for the install (????)Thirdly I was informed I did not pick up my shipped items in time and they were being cancelled and refunded the day before my studio install. I panicked, could not call the local store (only corporate), and had to go back in.Fourth my audio install is finally done, and my driver door starts falling off. First difficult to open, then completely stuck, then dangling my wires. Im now climbing in and out of my passenger door and have been for weeks.Fast forward multiple visits later, I am being told my car door was already destroyed before getting my audio install system. Nita, the manager I spoke to at the Olympia Best Buy location, told me they had videos of their techs working on the cars. I informed them they could see their techs opening my driver door with no problem before their install. I now have to get my driver door fixed elsewhere and hope they pay for it. This has been an incredibly ridiculous and emotional drain, I wish I had never bought from this company. I want to stand at their audio install stations and tell people not to do it.
Wanted to get my son a car stereo. They had nothing of interest in stock and we were even told that some of them couldnt even be ordered. But at least they werent trying to rip us off. Service was somewhat acceptable.
Calling to try to speak with customer service and it automatically routes you to the national hotline instead of the direct Best Buy. Why is it so hard to speak to someone who works in the store you need to fix the system you guys are trash. Why even have your phone number listed as 360 or a local number when it’s just going to take you straight to a hotline and this is during business hours.

I received really great customer service with the Geek Squad. They were able to to pull files off a damaged C drive. I purchased a new Surface Pro computer. They helped me find the best computer for my price and memory needs. I highly recommend Agent Rubinato.
The employees are pretty good at working with you. I feel like they are sold out of a lot of random things at times but still a good visit if you need electronics

Avoid at all costs. Did not respect their promised return policy. Also, two of the other products I bought from them broke within the return window so I am now stuck with three unusable products.
My fiance and I went to return a pair of sunglasses and the security team approached us and asked us to leave the store. They thought we stole the sunglasses, even though I had a receipt for the sunglasses. Made a huge scene, then realized we were telling the truth. Never an apology, I was absolutely mortified. I will never do business with them again. 250.00 sunglasses Ill be giving away to someone for free. I have never in my entire life been so embarrassed and ashamed to be a customer of a tacky business.

I mostly use this Best Buy as an entrance to the mall, so the people who stand at the front are my mall greeters. :D But I have purchased many items from the Best Buy as well, and Ive asked staff questions a few times. They seem to be somewhat knowledgeable about equipment even though a lot of big box store employees arent (which is completely understandable, its just a job!) Ive done returns there too and there is no hassle. You can do contactless pickup and they have dedicated parking spots for this right in front of the store. Very convenient if you order things online.
Lots of employees, no help offered. Was inquiring about a massage chair. Had to wait while employee at desk was done talking to himself. Asked question, he responded a massage would be nice, seemed high, cracked himself up with his answer of you can pay $1 for massage in mall chairs. I said No, does BestBuy sell, he responded Absolutely not. Just Appalling.....
Nick at Geek Squad was incredibly helpful when we came in today with a water damaged harddrive. Somehow he managed to get it up and running again and then he suggested what we should do to best protect our information from this point on. Thanks again for that having that technicians touch!
This best buy is you all around good store. Helpful associates and good layout. The only reason I have not given it a 5 star is I had a stereo and new speakers installed into our van once and they forgot to remove some of the plastic liner and that started to vibrate against the cone. I just fixed it myself at home. Otherwise I have never had an issue there before.

Terrible customer service. Here I am calling at 3:30pm on a Thursday looking to see if they have Nanoleaf Panels in stock. Literally a 5min task to walk over to see if lights are available and the lady Im talking to is like ok imma put you on hold to get the sales people. And I pressed 6 on the phone for the department that helps you find products in stock. Im currently waiting on so far at this very moment, 24min. Like I get how a business can be busy at 3:30pm thats like busy time I get it, but this is an extensive wait time for an easy check. I couldve literally drove to Best Buy and got home (30min total) and been much more satisfied.
Lorenzo was awesome, great personality helped us out with the upgrading of 4 phones and our plan. Glad we came here after so many issues at other places. Would definitely come back as well as recommending anyone go to him for assistance.

This is the best store to walk through to get to the mall. Good stuff to look at on your way through. Be careful though, dont let any employees try to chat with you.
They charge $30 to dispose of computer screens! Midway recycling in tumwater does it for free! And They accept all appliances. Why would Best Buy not promote recycling?
Prices are aligned with online retailers. Selection of PC accessories is somewhat lacking. Difficult to get assistance in store like all Bestbuys.
I love this place, The employees are always nice to me and willing to help. There have been times when they wouldnt have products I am looking for but they can always order it online for you while you are there. I bought an Air Conditioner a while back that did not work the way it was supposed to and returned it. Literally no questions asked. Some places interrogate you like you are a criminal for returning an item. Not these guys..

I’m that guy who walks into a store expecting bad service wherever I go, not that I’m so negative, but due to past experiences. So I approach this clerk Austin, asking him something snarky like “Am I invisible?” But he is calm and diffuses my sharpness by listening to my reason for coming into the store. And I did mean LISTENING, not looking away as I expressed my concern over my 6-year old MAC, expecting him to grimace at the word MAC, and very intelligently asked all the right questions. Professional, intelligent, and attentive. This tone carried over with all the other employees I dealt with, taking care of everything very efficiently with no hard sell. And I do believe this entire staff genuinely likes each other. I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

Well where to start.Clean Well lit place.Fairly decent selection, but, a bit overpriced for my tastes.AndI inquired about several products. The salesperson had to pull out their phone to look up the answer to my question, do you carry transistor radios? Hell, I am quite capable of doing that myself.So if you are going to shop there, look up what you need first, save time.
Pulled up to the curbside pickup and 5 minutes later a store employee asked what I was picking up and then 5 minutes after that it was loaded up in my truck. They were n top of it for sure. Great job best buy.
Great customer service! Had an issue with a car stereo I had installed in my daughters car at Tacoma best buy the night before and got it home and it blew a fuse. I went to the Olympia best buy because we live in Olympia and the install dept was closed but they had a nice guy named Jesse who used to work in that dept fix it for me! I was so happy because my daughter was waiting two weeks since Christmas and was very disappointed but they saved the day! Thanks again to Jesse for helping me!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience at best buy. A lot of people asked if they could help us find anything. When we walked up to customer service Julia was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and understanding. Very communicative! She deserves a raise! Pleased with our visit. :)

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because every time I go in they never have what im looking for and the shelves or always empty. Also why did they stop selling cds not everyone is all digital. Old school folks we like our collection just like the 8 tracks or tapes or vinal man. You know??? Just saying!!!

Usually I shop online for electronic goods, however every once and awhile Ill go in-store if I need something quick, I went to get a monitor for my computer, the representative whom helped me, Davo, was extremely personable, its nice to not feel like someone is forcing you to buy something, Ive always purchased my phones from this store as well where Ive been given the same great customer service over the years. Id go out of my way to go here for equipment.
My daughter made an appointment through the Tech Dept. Which all in all is worthless. Hire people who know the tech theyre supposed to receive and be more informed on the process to get equipment fixed.
The sales people there were very friendly and accommodating to my issue with a printer purchase. I didnt walk out with a printer, but one is on order and I was a happy customer.😊
Avoid this location. Stock is waaaay low, i.e. they only have 12-15 titles for any game system. Seems like this place is dying and theyre not interested in reviving/restocking certain areas.

As good as any other store. They got all weird and dystopia by putting little cameras on every price tag. Sounds weird but I think it is all in the effort of loss prevention. Its just not the future I prefer and I think my business will be going online.
Ive used this store a few times during covid-19 to pick up online purchases. The store is adequate for that purpose.I recently walked through to actually browse the store for a birthday gift for my son and the brick-and-mortar experience was just so odd. There were empty shelves in many spots. There were headphones in 3 different spots in the store. There was inventory just stacked in the middle of the floor in various spots even though the shelves (where extra inventory should go) looked empty.It kind of reminded me of what Kmarts used to look like for years (before they finally went away for good).After all that, the one item I picked was $60 in store, but it was $45 at a different retailer online (with shipping).I left and ordered it online.

We went into the Olympia store looking to buy a gaming computer, Elena was the one that helped us. She took the time and figure out what we needed and explained why we needed it. I left feeling good about our purchase. I had a great experience at the store, I would recommend her for all of your computer needs.

Didnt have the one thing I went for so I decided to look at a gaming computer, I found one without a price and ended up standing there for maybe 10 minutes trying to find a worker. Maybe half dozen employees walked past me before I finally got somebody to acknowledge us then another 5 minutes before I got the price. Walked out empty handed, will probably buy online.
Very helpful we had a lot of questions about gaming headphones and associates were super knowledgeable.
Havent had any problems with product or service in many years of shopping here.

Location has gone through ups and downs ranging from employees to products. This location has DRASTICALLY improved in terms of employees who are knowledgeable and friendly (especially in Geek Squad which has encouraged me to go here first than Amazon). The store itself is rather sad (dirty displays, LOTS of empty shelves, lack of identity, unpriced merch) it kind of reminds of a form a KMart in a way. However, the employees care about their location and is clear in their service.FYI... Anyone ordering on BestBuys website on the west coast... beware as they use OnTrac to ship to home. Recommend using ship to store instead (dont let the shipping date fool you, it will be faster to ship to store than OnTrac as they love their delays). Wish they offered an option to choose USPS, UPS, or even FedEX for more rather than OnTrac.

Decent selection on some products, and very limited on others. Associates were as expected. Willing to tell you where something was if asked and friendly about it. If you need electronics right away and getting a specific product isnt a concern its a good place to go, but if youre not in a rush Id get it elsewhere. A lot of overpriced items as well. The best buy exclusive cables are a prime example of this

Ordered a pc through these people. Waited 2 weeks longer than they told me it would be. The woman working at the front sales desk was very rude. Learn how to treat your customers. I avoid this Bestbuy.

Dont know if they had them in-stock because we stood there for 33 minutes watching everyone else getting excellent customer service, walked out and went to AT&T to pre-order the new model coming out in May.Yes, I could have waved an associate down for help, but should any customer have to?

The store was clean with a sanitation station at the entrance near the greater. I went to customer service for a return. Lisi was very nice and helpful, she got my return done with ease. I wondered around looking for new items to purchase. The staff was very friendly and helped me find what I needed. The store was very busy and at times I was waiting a long time to find an employee to help me but overall good experience.

I expect nothing but the bare minimum and Im still left disappointed. They no showed us on our delivery today. The store is not accepting phone calls. The customer service hotline was useless. The item had to be ordered I was told. The item was in store where we purchased it. I was told the manager may call me back within 48 hours. This was a large purchase. Im sure my business wont matter enough but eventually this will catch up with them. One day they will realize theyre all alone because they porked over one tooamy people.
Usually a good experience at Best Buy however my last visit was terrible. Was told by one of the stereo install guys it would cost $326 for installation on a particularraduo. When I came back to purchase the radio, was told $326 for install by the lady who rang me up. When I came back two weeks later to pick up the stereo after it was shipped, was told $450, I said that cannot be right. He looked again and came up with another higher price for install. He then asked one of the leads, he came up with $500+. They did some more looking and price remained high. Finally called one of the install guys(who was the same dude that quoted me $326 initially) to come sort it out. I figured my troubles were over! He went in back to figure it out on one of the PCs in the shop. The initial guy came back and started ringing me up based on the parts the install guy listed. It totalled over $600 to install my new radio. In addition, $100 of that was tax, and with $500 in subtotal, I knew there was something not right. Tax on $500 should have been around $50. I was ready scrap the whole idea of a new radio. One of the managers came over to figure out the issue and FINALLY, the total came to $335 for install. This took me over an hour standing at the customer service desk. Stereo is not scheduled for install until mid Jan. Im hoping there will be no more surprises or confusion.

Normally dont shop big biz business if I can help it. However now that Sprint is t-mobile.. I had to come here for a phone because T-mobile doesnt put there phones on sale. I got great service and got an unlocked s20+ for $300.00 cheaper than T-mobile.
Poor selection, worse stock on hand. This is February 2021. I understand things have been hard on retail, but Im not having this problem at other retailers.
