Not good of a selection of lights in Olympia as the Lowes location, but more diverse. Staff is super friendly, Kathy at the register is super friendly and has a great sense of humor. Pretty solid location, and their tool selection is also just a bit better than Lowes.

Home Depot at 12:00 on Sunday had no check stands open only self-checkout and the lady that was doing the self checkout when I asked about it with rude as could be and there were employees of Home Depot all over the place. People working in the corner pickup return area. Tired of how these companies think its all right do not have check out stands open if I wanted a job checking out and Home Depot at apply for a job. Home Depot is my favorite store but I will not be going to that one obviously poorly ran. I was just going to the Home Depot in Tumwater or the one in Hawks prairie both of them are pretty good.

We bought a washer and dryer, the young Lady that assisted us was Very Helpful and Knowledgeable about the different brands, that made us confident about our choices. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Dont ever make a tiny mistake on an order. If you call to fix it they will flat out refuse. I ordered a grill but didnt check the free assembly box so I called right away to let them know I wanted it put together and they wouldnt do it. I had to cancel my order and now wait 3-5 days to get my money back so I can order it again. Worst customer service ever.

It makes absolutely zero sense that they keep their flat carts out in the rain. Went to go get drywall, and all of the carts were unusable because they were soaking wet. Had to go to another Home Depot where they keep their carts inside.

The store had what I wanted. With the $$$ they have, they could have configured every store to have the exact same layout. So, if you know one store well, when you go to the store across town, you still feel like youve never been in a Home Depot.

We just needed some red mulch this is the nearest place 45 miles away from our place. The prices are better then our in town hardware store.

Always a familiar, standard reconnaissance- in quick, find easily, buzz attendant if iffy, out swiftly with whats needed to geter done, quasi-distant walk back to the car, truck, van or Mini is just about right for a re-up in motivation. Mission shall be accomplished!

It took me way too long to get someone to unlock a weed whacker today. The floor staff i asked didnt have a way to contact someone to open it.I went to customer service but i couldnt get anyone that wasnt with a customers attention.I went and looked around for a bit and when i came back one of the customer service people was able to help me.I appreciate people being busy but at least acknowledge people when they are standing there.

Ordered a wedding gift to be delivered to my brother. Home Depot sent an email stating it would be delivered on 9/16. It never showed up. I had to call them.Totally disorganized. Will not use them again.

Really good selection in bathrooms tile at a nice price. Rent a tile cutter too if you want to cut the tile down if everything isn’t plum. It can be difficult to work with these large 12x24 tile on older home that have settled. I’m giving only 4 stars because the help they give these days are not top notch, but they can ship anything there and they have a lot in stock to choose (some stores more than others depending on size). We got the 12x12 rock and cut in 1/3 to make the border. Can’t take credit for the end job. I just designed it! The tile guys were amazing! We went Home Depot in Olympia to pick up some storm doors for our son and used their curb side pickup service. It was really nice. We pulled into a numbered spot and told them we were there by clicking on the icon in their email. It asked what spot we were in, the color of our car and our cell number. In a few minutes a young man came out with a cart with our doors. He loaded them into our van, and we were ready to go. This was a great service that I recommend.

Well, its The Home Depot, everyone knows about this establishment. Its been open for business for many decades now and, theres just no end in sight, they are by far the #1 Home Improvement Store that theres ever been. Yesterday Deanna was a SUPERSTAR & helped us out with what we needed. She was so sweet & took care of what we had going on & was even interested in the project I am working on. This is my 5th trip to this location as I’m building a fence in $300 sections per paycheck. On the other hand Silvia was EXTREMELY disrespectful, rolled her eyes at me when I asked if she could page for me to have some wood cut & she was even rude to her fellow coworkers. I ended up having to call the stores phone number to get someone to assist me in cutting wood as Silvia serves as no help. I told her thank you anyway & to have a good rest of her night & she blatantly ignored me & walked away. Kind of ironic for all the pins she has on her apron, I thought she would be able to help me out. She left a bad taste in my mouth, I think Home Depot needs more Deanna’s & NO more Silvia’s in terms of customer service!!

This was the first Home Depot to come to the Olympia area. Still seems to be the go-to place for many contractors and homeowners alike. Not great visibility from the freeway, but easy on and off. These days I prefer to go to Lowes simply because the atmosphere is much cleaner and the brighter. I suppose thats the consumer in me.

Horrible customer service. When you have someone ready to buy your product and you can’t even help them do so efficiently, there’s a problem.

I went there with my son in law to get ice maker tubing kit to connect a new under sink water filter I was installing for my daughter and son in law. I asked one of the associates there and they took me right to it. I was very pleased I didnt have to wander the store wasting time to get it.

Home Depot just aint what it used to be. Asked 4 different employees (out of necessity each time the previous one was wrong) for one item (fuel can for the mower) and literally got sent to 4 different places in the store. What happened to the days when you could walk in and ask just about anyone that worked in the store how to _________ (fill in the blank) and 9 times out of 10, they would tell you and take you to the items you need. Now its walk to the other side of the store for the wrong thing because I dont care enough to invest in my job, Mr. customer. Bring back the baby boomers that helped builD this country and then retired working at the Depot!

Older store. Doesnt keep a sufficient stock of handheld yard and garden equipment. Not crowded which makes a quick checkout.

Outstanding employees and a great manager unfortunately I forgot her name I was thinking Jane but I could be full of it. Definitely have been lacking in materials lately but thats due to covid-19 believe its their fault. They are always willing to help. We just went to your store in Tumwater. Got our plants for Mothers Day and proceed to go to the self checkout counter.The lady at the counter was on her phone another employee came and they started to talk about her family who laughed all night and was so tired and she came to work to early .While all this chatter was going on we wanted help as my husband is a disabled veteran so we called the lady for help to put in the discount,She turns around and tell us WE SHOULD ASK HER .RIGHT AND DISTURB YOU FROM STAR GAZING.I am done with this place.Rude and inconsiderate .She is tired and does not care .

Overall satisfied with the cleanliness, organization and availability of items in this store. The customer service was excellent too, friendly cashier and department leads were knowledgeable and readily available to answer questions. The restrooms were clean and in good working order. Social distancing markers were practical and highly visible as well as some signage to instruct and remind of pertininant measures.

Been going to this store for over 20 years and watched the customer service decline over time. Most of the knowledgable customer orientated employees are sadly gone. The remaining ones apparently have little training. Per staff and some managers their inventory management systems are constantly inaccurate. Employee convenience is more important than customer service.Social distancing is maintained until employees get to break room.Lowes adds another 10 min to my journey but its worth it and 9 times out of 10 actually saves time. Very disappointed

As usual, no one ever around to help you when you need it.

I used curbside pickup due to the current conditions of shopping, but I wasnt able to get what I needed delivered out to my car since I had to go in to have it cut. That also meant waiting for the saw to be available to cut the wood for me, as well as waiting in line to get my order released. granted they were doing everything in their capability to keep customers socially distance, but many of the staff were not wearing masks, and were very often and close quarters. So they lost a star, otherwise I was very happy with the experience.

Need a better selection of soil. Not everyone uses miracle grow and that was 95 percent of your selection.

I was very disappointed at how long it took to check out. If you wanted to check out with a live person there was only one check-out line for the whole store. I had to wait for over 5 minutes during a slow time with only a few customers in the store.

Kate in customer service at the olympia store helped us for 30 min workout a problem that seemed to be on loop and even ended up having to stay after closing. She was really patient and extra friendly. Not the first time shes helped us and definitely worth writing a review for how awesome she always is!

I needed some wood. The national website sold me the wood out of this store. I called ahead to verify they had it because its a 90 minute round trip from my home. They confirmed they had my order but had not picked it yet. So I take the drive, and after a confusing half hour about the proper process of retrieving an online purchase I was assigned a young person to help me retrieve the product. About an hour later we concluded that the store didnt have the product they had sold me. They issued a refund and left me to scrounge the product up elsewhere on my own - which I did in their West Seattle store. The two stars are because this trip was entirely wasted and nearly prevented me from getting the wood I sorely needed, but the young man who helped me not find the product was very nice. I am a big fan of the chain and spend a lot of money in my local store but they need to get their inventory act together and the customer service lead in this particular store could use some empathy and urgency.
