We were With Verizon for many years. But over time there customer service and cell signal Began to suck big time. Last January we went into the Olympia Store to upgrade our phones. They would not help us transfer data and would not install protective face covers on the phones. That was the last straw so we went across the mall and went with AT&T. We cancelled all of our Verizon service at that time. However they continued to do withdrawals from our bank account. When you call these clowns on the phone you can expect to wait over an hour to get to talk to a live person. Then when you get them on the phone they tell you how sorry they are and do nothing for you. As it turns out they continued to withdraw funds from our bank account because he continued to Bill us even though we had cancelled our service. Finally we contacted our bank and instructed the bank not to allow Verizon to withdraw funds from our account. We contacted Verizon one more time and ask them to stop withdrawing money and refund what they Otis from the cancellation date back in January. They refunded us $80 and then send us another bill for $80. We refused to pay it so they sent us to collection. Finally we went to the Olympia store and demanded help. The manager on duty did provide some assistance and got us $170 refund. The bad part is that Verizon Owed over $400. When we said that was unacceptable the managers and said she was done with us and instructed us to leave. These people are nothing but no good thieves and they’re not going to help you out.

The first person that helped my wife and myself was very helpful. Listened to us both, and paid attention to both my wife and my self. She helped us pretty quickly.My reason for 3/5 stars is my iPhone 13 pro did not ship on time. And also the customer service phone line sucks at communicating with the store representatives. It was supposed to ship around the same time my wife’s did. But there was a payment issue which got resolved quickly then I had to re-sign the terms and agreements. Well I did that. But I also called customer service and they weren’t tracking what was going on with why my IPhone on why it was not shipping yet. I then went to the Verizon store and one of the associates there helped me, but he didn’t seem very motivated to help me cause I think it was they were closing soon, but that’s not a reason or excuse to have poor customer service. He showed very little interest in helping me out on getting the terms and agreements signed again. The phone customer service, and the customer service at the store both need to be on the same page. They both were unaware of what was going on, and they weren’t tracking the same issue. Both gave me different information.

It had been at least 2 years since Id been into this Verizon store, located inside the Capital Mall, across from the food court. So I was surprised to learn that they do NOT have any technical support any more. The staff member pointed to another store in the mall (not a chain) that works on phones after we asked where can we get our phone looked at. All they do is sell phones. So, since you cant get any help here, this wouldnt be my first place to shop, when other stores have sales. A phone had totally gone out, so we didnt have much time to do our own research, so we had to rely on the staff in the store. One of these 3 stars is for the sales people. They do know their products. Another star is for the Verizon-specific info that only these people can give you (costs, monthly payments, credits, trade-ins, etc).

Be prepared to wait an hour. Employees nice enough but verizon honestly doesnt seem to care enough about customer service. Trying to call and talk to someone at store and it goes to main customer service line and u will be on hold for EVER.....and ever! And if u need a real verizon store its the only one around so busy busy...Trying to get things accomplished with verizon is a big headache and is getting worse.

IF I COULD DO ZERO STARS I WOULD. DO NOT COME HERE! Terrible service. We checked in and the first thing the guy said is we ONLY prioritize people with CURRENT accounts. I said I wanted to open and account and the guy STILL SAID they have a max of 8 people and they still will take current customers before new/potential customers. THE DISRESPECT is outlandish. I was barred from entering the store because I wasnt an existing customer. Not okay Verizon

The volume on phone calls kept getting Lower and lower…?I could hardly hear!Victor cleaned the speaker… who would have known to do that?? Not me. My phone became unable to sign in to my account... first visit the manager supposedly fixed the after talking me into spending nearly $400 on a new phone. Got home and discovered that I was locked out of my account on my new phone. Returned today and was met with hostile reaction when I told them that I was going to file a complaint with the State AG. I am not sure I will my money back. Dont do business with this Company! I am now a T-Mobile customer and will be asking for help from the AG and the FCC. Rip Off!

Went in to upgrade one of my lines. Was greeted by employees all congregating around the entrance like gate keepers. I was asked what kind of phone I wanted and I said something Android, but Id like to explore. I received a quick response that there were no Android phones and that an iphone was my only option. I was a bit bewildered and question what I was being told. The guy respond eh, covid or something and left me no other option other than leave.I called Verizon and ordered an Android no issue at all and they gave me options.This store used to be good, but this was a terrible experience.

I agree if I could give zero stars I would. Anthony the manager was very rude, lied non stop to my face about the issue I was having, wasn’t willing to help me any further than to push me on to someone else. He multiple times interrupted me mid sentence saying, “ Is there anything else I can help you with if not I have other customers to see to!” I clearly needed assistance which he wasn’t willing to give me! I honestly don’t understand how someone like that can have a job this long in customer service. If you ever EVER consider swapping to Verizon or need help I would think twice and definitely not go to this store! I’m still in disbelief as to how he treated me and so were the employees! They totally disagreed with how he was treating me and so did other customers in the store! I watched someone waiting in line to be helped listen into our conversation and turn around and leave due to how he was treating me. The reactions the other customers had in the store that overheard our conversation were disgusted just as I was. Completely unprofessional and out right rude. Before this encounter I had with Anthony I would’ve recommended Verizon to anyone and everyone else. Now I wouldn’t recommend Verizon if it was the last cell service out there. This not only happened once we had another issue a few months back and Anthony treated my family the same exact way. Basically told us to kick rocks and that there was nothing he could do have a nice day! What could’ve been a quick 30 minute fix took weeks and weeks! We ended up having to go to better business Bureau and then finally they did something! That’s unbelievable that we had to basically threaten them before they were willing to do anything. At this point I think we’re going to move to t-mobile when we get this problem fixed. This is Just one tenth of the issue I had there! I can’t be more upset with Verizon and the way Anthony treated me. This isn’t even the first bad review about him! WHY IS HE STILL WORKING FOR YOU IF HES CAUSING MORE PROBLEMS THAN NOT!!!

For starters, I have been a Verizon customer for eight years and generally don’t mind the service, which I sometimes hear is an unpopular opinion. However, like a lot of other people I’m seeing I would also give this store 0 stars if I could. This place is a joke now.I was very upfront with the guy that was tasked to help me about how I am looking to purchase a new phone but haven’t had much of a chance to get a feel for which version of the iPhone I wanted next (which I feel is reasonable if I’m going to spend $1200 plus tax).I asked him if I could play around with it for a minute and he tells me “well it doesn’t go very far” like I was going to steal it or something? He was fidgeting around standing no where near six feet from me and making me feel very uncomfortable as I was trying to demo a phone on the wall. So uncomfortable I told him I would go to another store that was a little less pressuring and awkward. Save yourself a trip and go to somewhere with better reviews and customer service. If you’re going to be in sales you should learn how to build rapport, not take it away. Will never go back.

This store really cares about customer satisfaction! The store manager, Taryn, was a HUGE help when my online Verizon order got all wonky. Taryn took a lot of time, probably the equivalent of an entire working day, over three days to help me upgrade all 5 cell phones and 4 iPads as well as transfer the data/info from phones or iPads that were giving me grief at home! Taryn is also a ninja master at putting this water or gel based protective screen on iPads and cell phones that replace the stick on glass screen protectors. I might also add that over the three days Taryn was helping me unscrew my account, my two younger kids were acting like a bunch of banshees high on Mountain Dew (they were terrible). Verizon in River Road is the only place I will go for my cell phone/iPad needs from here on out. THANKS GUYS!!!

Went in thinking I was going to need to buy a new phone, as the phone I have had for almost 4 years was acting wonky. The staff member was so helpful, and rather than make a sale, he went through my phone, did a few things, and fixed it and is working good as new. It felt really nice to go into a business and be actually taken care of not taken advantage of.

Quentin was so helpful. I usually dread going into Verizon stores, cause it takes forever, it’s frustrating and I often leave with no solution to the problem. But Quentin had a handful of us he was helping, and seamlessly and efficiently bounced between us. If he couldn’t fix the problem himself, he gave the resources we would need. Seriously, so awesome. If you drive by and see a handsome black man through the window, stop! He’ll get you in and out and all with a smile and great customer service skills.

Tonight I went in with my partner to get his phone replaced. He’d arranged for this to happen with customer service online earlier in the day in an attempt to alleviate any confusion, and to come prepared to expedite the process. When we first arrived, the salesman who checked us in had to ask for his phone number three separate times before he got it entered correctly. The store was not busy, the salesman just wasn’t paying attention. This was a foreshadow of the experience to come.We were told someone would be with us shortly, so we sat down. There were at least four people on staff and for whatever reason we were on the very bottom of the priority list. After sitting and waiting for about ten minutes, the salesman from before came back to ask if he could show his manager the reference number we’d come in with since it was something he was unfamiliar with - great, we were finally getting somewhere! That is, until his manager came over with the most dismissive and least helpful attitude I have ever experienced in any Verizon store. Rather than trying to get more information about the situation or reach out to a peer for help, we were immediately told that we were wrong and that what we were asking was impossible. She also felt the need to inform me, in a way that was incredibly condescending, “we haven’t done anything like that in three years. I don’t know what to tell you.”Both my partner and I work in the service/hospitality industry. While I understand that the holiday season can be incredibly trying, this visit left a terrible impression.If you want to feel like your time is of no value, and that your needs as a contract holding customer are not important, this is the location for you. Do not recommend.

The salesperson we dealt with at this location misled us on the details of their so called buy one get one free promo and placed one of our down payments on the free phone and failed to inform us of a critical stipulation of the contract resulting our loss of the promo and inability to recover the $375.This could have all been avoided with an honest salesperson from this location informing us properly. My loyalty with the business as a whole is soured greatly and I will be looking for a new provider as a result of this once the contract ends.

Really good customer service people, went on a Saturday. Dont go on Saturday this has nothing to do with them or the store itself and its just that the wait is long what with everybody being off and needing help with their phones on the weekend. When I finally got to get my turn they took care of me lickety-split got the information I needed and very attentive, listen to everything I had to say and helped me understand the details of my mothers contract. Little bit of sticker shock but if my moms happy its all good.

Sara helped me with my new phone today and she was wonderful! She also helped me pick out a very cute Coach brand case for my phone as well. She was patient and attentive. I sat in the store for a minute to finish setting up my phone in case I ran into any issues, and funny enough I did run into an activation issue. A gentleman, I wish I could remember his name (he was a stocky and quite tall man, kind of reminded me of the comedian Brian Posehn) was immediately eager to help me figure that out and helped me resolve it in just a few minutes. Overall I had a wonderful experience and the 2 staff members that helped me were professional, kind, and efficient. I highly recommend this location if you’re into above and beyond customer service experiences.

Just got the pixel 3 xl. Its the best phone ever. Google call screening is the greatest. That shouldve been available long ago. The service was great too. Im guessing thats cause I was at the door waiting for them to open. Also Verizon makes so much off us already, they need to include the glass screen cover with phone purchase. I went in yesterday to buy my daughter her first phone. I worked with Samantha Graves and she was absolutely wonderful. She talked to me about all the offers available to me and I ended up getting a great deal and upgrading my phone as well. Samantha answered all of my questions, helped me with a few things and sent us on our way. When I had a few issues with setting up my phone at home, I called the store and talked to her again. She helped walk me through the issues and got me all taken care of. I truly appreciate great customer service. She is an asset to Verizon.

Not sure about all the negative reviews. They were great with me. Cant remember the guys name who helped me but he was fast and got my new phone ordered and sent to my house overnight. In and out within 20 minutes. I was polite and was treated very nicely, probably because I didnt have a crappy attitude. Absolutely abhorrent service the last time I visited.My dad passed away recently and I went in with my mom to get things sorted out with the family cell plan. I was told by a former Verizon employee and also read on Verizon forums that we could come in and do it at the store.When we arrived and told them the situation, they pooh poohed us and gave us a phone number to call instead. I think this employee was lazy and didnt want to help us. They didnt seem to care or even offer us condolences.Its already difficult enough with my dads death and I am afraid calling Verizon on the phone will be a worse experience.Super mad about this and how it made my mom feel.What is worse is I have always had decent service at this store in the past so I dont understand why they couldnt even bother.

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars.Terrible store, very rude UNFRIENDLY staff. They may seem nice up front because they want you to buy things and spend ridiculous amounts of money. I went in today because my phone broke and wanted to see what my options are for obtaining a replacement. First of all, the salesman accused me of being....fraudulent, an imposter of someone with a real account. Very rude.I spoke to a nice Verizon person on the phone a few months ago who spent time with me looking at possible changes for my account and they assured me Id be able to switch my two-year contract and enter their new Edge program assuming I got a new phone - which I now need.The man in the store rudely told me Id have to pay like $300 for my current phone (which I purchased about 20 months ago and paid about $200 for). I would share that employees name, but I threw out his business card on the way out.Ended up leaving them and walked straight into AT&T, which didnt have much better deals, but they had very HELPFUL and KIND and POLITE employs, UNLIKE Verizon.Verizon is the worst; if you are someone considering switching to their service, please stop. RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS FAST AS YOU CAN! DONT LOOK BACK!

Verizon claims to be the best in the industry, but the customer service I received at this storefront was exactly what Ive come to expect from Verizon they just dont care about their customers anymore I was a loyal customer for almost 10 years the last five years I was spending over $300 a month with them, final year I was with them their service became increasingly unreliable, the main issue I had with them was data after only use 5 GB in a month they would start to throttle me I was on an unlimited plan I should have at least had 22 GB before throttled me,Over the course of that year I had called customer service several times, the response I got was we are a premium carrier therefore we have a lot of customers basically they were telling me they have more customers than they can handle.Why should I pay for a premium cell phone network that cant support their customers anymore? So much for being a loyal customerSwitch to AT&T now I have the service I used to have with Verizon not to mention AT&T speeds are 10 times what Verizon is. Far as voice calling in remote areas AT&T is pretty damn close to Verizon and getting better.

I got a pocket Jack and it worked for about a week and I used up all the data available, tried to return it but I was 2 days late from my memory of my return date by and they just now want to charge me cancellation fees instead of working with me to get me a satisfied product they wanted that detrimental slave.....

I have been in several times recently after for a new iphone 11 and a pair of Samsung A10E phones for my brother and sister and an ipad for my son.Brandin, David, Samantha, Andrew and the crew were excellent in helping me with picking up my orders and getting the equipment put in cases and screen protectors so we could put then in use without any worry of scuffs or scratches on the new equipment.They had an amazing assortment of cases so I got a super cute Kate Spade one for the iphone 11 and was able to set up 2 identical phones with different color cases so my brother and sister can tell them apart at home. The bundles saved us so we ended up with a case, screen protector, and power pack for $99 which was almost 30% off.Before I got the new stuff I stopped in a couple of times for teoubleshooting and they helped me find out how to contact tmobile to unlock an old iphone 6 a family member had given me for my prepaid line and they did activate it with a sim on another trip but then I tried to do a software update on it later from which it never recovered so that is how I ended up with the new one instead. The staff was super helpful with each step of things when I needed assistance.They helped me be sure I had purchased the right pencil for the ipad and even took a few minutes to show me how it works. I saw them help someone figure out how to use thier bluetooth while I was there so that was pretty cool.Andrew helped get the iphone active on my prepaid account which was a little technical but he made it look easy.Brandin always made us feel welcome whether I was there with my son or with the relatives or on my own.... whether the store was super busy or not.This is my favorite Verizon store in the area cause they really focus on the customer and help you get your electronics purchase just the way you need it and will point you in the right direction if needed.

There is just an automated system that comes up and says to call between 7 AM and 9 PM when the time is 6 PM. It is sadly ironic that you cannot reach a phone provider by phone. That would make a great advertisement for all other providers.

I visited the Capital Mall Verizon store and they figured out my problem and even replaced my phone. I will always feel that they went far beyond the norm for me even when we were late for our appointment. So I give them a 5, only because there is no 10!!!

The service I received here was terrible. I waited for 30 min or so day after Christmas, not too bad really. But the gal who helped me with a replacement phone, paid and bought in full, simply tapped away on her tablet handed me the box and said phones ready to go youre all set. Got home the battery was not even out of the wrapper so how could the phone be ready. Put the battery in and first screen after hitting next to set up phone says there is a problem please contact customer support to continue. SO i had to contact Verizon directly and after waiting another who knows how long(remember this is day after Xmas) I was helped lovely lady on the other end. Very pleasant and very apologetic for the service I received.Wish there in-person help was good as the service you get on the phone. I will NEVER go back to this store. Terrible.

Drive for an hour and a half to get to this verizon. Was waiting for about 30minutes or so, while they worked with other guests, maybe just maybe Im wrong but all the staff was Caucasian and as I waited there when it was my turn a Caucasian individual came in after and they helped him even though I stood there waiting, and they saw me there the whole time. I felt like it was rude and inconsiderate to not even look up and greet, but also felt a racist demeanor simply because they assisted the Caucasian before me when I was clearly next after all that wait. I am disappointed in this store and its staff and I will drive further if I must to avoid having to step into this store again.

I hate going into Verizon stores because I feel like theyre a bunch of used car salesman and they just jump on you and try to upsell you with every breath. Very annoying regardless of the products. I dont have a problem with the product I have a problem with the sales people.

I would give negative stars if I could. These guys are thieves. I was sold a phone that quit working less than 24 hours after purchasing it. Instead of a full refund, they kept $50 of the refund. I called Verizon while sitting in front of the sales representative, who was acting rude at this point, and the lady I talked to on the phone couldnt understand why they were keeping it. Im done with Verizon. They are scam artists.

I had a terrible experience and will never go back..It started with the wait time. I was told that there were two individuals ahead of me, so I decided to wait. I saw two customers finish and thought that my spot in line was coming up. I asked for an update and was told that I was still the same spot in line, half an hour after originally arriving. I saw another two customers received services and leave. I was still waiting. Then an individual came in and was put in line ahead of me. I waited almost 70 minutes to receive any help.When I received help, the problems continued. I attempted to sign up for a business plan. I received a great number for my business that I really wanted. Near the end, I was asked for a $400 deposit even though I was bringing my own phone to the plan. The employee thought that the fee could be waived. It wasnt waivable so we had to start completely over.This added another 20 minutes to the process. Once we ready to sign, I was told that the original cell phone number was no longer available. I was disappointed. The employee said that I could change the number through my account online. She promised to waive the $20 activation fee as a courtesy for the trouble. By this time I had over two hours at the store.When I got home, I tried to change my number using the Verizon website. I was told that my account was too new to do this. I was instructed to call Verizon. I did so and was able to change my phone through the automated system. But then the change did not take place. I had to call a live agent to finalize the change, at the cost of $15. And the employee at the store did not waive the $20 activation fee as promised.This company does not respect your time or money. They cant keep a promise and wont rectify their own mistakes.

No one likes going to the Verizon store, but if you must go, this one had very helpful staff (thank you Pete).If you are going to the Verizon store you pretty much fall into one of two categories. You either want to buy something really expensive, or you have a problem with your electronic that might end up costing you something really expensive. We had the latter.We are currently road tripping for a few months and our phone, our source of Internet, broke. We needed it fixed ASAP and couldnt wait to have it mailed, nor would we have an address they could mail a new one to. Pete was able to work with us and the insurance company to get everything resolved and us back on the road.

After being a Verizon customer for 10 years, and spending nearly $22,000 on cell phones and phone service, I finally had enough. My phone broke, it was completely my fault. I stopped in with the hopes that Verizon would have some sort of interest in assisting with a long time customers situation. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I had no problem with purchasing a new phone. I had no problem accepting that it was my fault that the phone broke. But I did have a problem with a company, whom I had been so loyal to, that they were unwilling, in any capacity, to work out some sort of compromise to fix my problem. I am pleased to report though, that I had an excellent experience with Cory at the AT&T store across the isle from this store.

I would give zero stars if I could-- terrible customer service, sketchy employees, and they do not let you call without going through five layers of automated representatives. Went in this morning to get a new phone and I was given the smaller capacity version of the iPhone I selected for the price of the larger capacity phone. The sales rep was only concerned with selling me an overpriced case, and intentionally charged me a great deal more for the cheaper phone hoping I wouldnt notice. On top of that, I was given a BROKEN phone that they had restocked into a new box, and going back in to get a replacement for the phone they gave me would cost me another $40 for a restocking fee (like its that hard to go in the back room and get another.) Terrible service, very inconsiderate strategy to make money. Go anywhere else and you wont be scammed the way I was today. Read other reviews for this location and you will see that this sketchy behavior is a trend for this store.
