Im from Albuquerque and I was in the Pomona area on business for work and I thought I wonder if I can find some ultra sheen here. Sure enough i googled this shop and liked the reviews so i drove over to investigate. I was delighted to find a huge jar of ultra sheen which keeps my hair soft. The benefits of ultra sheen are many and varied. Everyone might want to keep a little jar in their bathroom. Never know when you might need.

Love this place. They have everything. Its not many beauty supplies in the IE that cater to African Americans but this place hit it right on. I come here for everything. Huge variety on braiding hair. They even have a loyalty program and give you a small discount if you pay with cash.

Sad that I have to give a 1 star but due to the circumstances it is well deserved! I went to this beauty supply store because they have the Adore hair color stains that I love! I wanted a white and I didnt really see one but they have a color called clear, so since I didnt know I asked the girl behind the counter what color it was cause it was a little confusing based on the example hair sample they had up for it. The associate asked, well what are you trying to do, what color are you looking for and I told her White, which she told me that is what the clear was... It was going to make my blonde white!! WRONG, WRONG, WRONG... It is literally translucent! I only used a pea size amount cause it didnt look like it was going to magically turn since it is a stain not a permanent color that needs a developer... Well upon asking about being able to return due to the misinformation from the associate the girl asked, so it didnt turn white with the developer? And thats when I realized she didnt know what she was talking about and didnt even bother looking at the bottle before asking that question so she either thought she did OR didnt really care cause they will not return anything even if THEY FALSELY STATED and CONFIRMED asked if she was sure, as long as a sale was made because it would result in a customer coming back to buy another product! POOR customer service

It is good but they have no returns for the hair pieces. I bought one for a gift to my mom and the color didnt match, so I couldnt returned. I think that if it has all tags and it is the same day we should be able to return... But no.

This place has all the products I need

The young black girl was nice. The Asian man at the counter didn’t look up, make eye contact or greet me. But the cameras on every aisle were on. Very uncomfortable shopping experience. There are Cheaper wigs online. I’d rather spend my money where I’m appreciated.

Good shop. Watch it grow to twice the size. Good staff. Large selection. Good prices for the area. They even sale low price jewelry and hair cutting supplies. I think they even have a hair stylist to refer you if needed. Good options. A good way to buy hot hair tools if you want to check them out in person before you buy them at a reasonable price. They have stuff for guys, girls and women.

The girls working there were so helpful and very nice. Lots of product... If u cant find what you need there, something is definitely wrong.

Ive gone there from the day they open. The selections get better and better. The girls that work there are great. They also have a great beautician on site. Her name is Shaun and she hook my baby girl short do for her promotion.

Great store, wide selection of hair and products. The staff are very helpful and courteous.Reason for 4 stars, is the return policy. 3 days is unrealistic especially if you are purchasing hair. Please rethink this.

Angel was absolutely the BEST! She spent all the time we needed to make sure the wig(s) we purchased were exactly what we wanted and needed. She explained all the differences between the wigs, showed us the care required and made sure we were completely satisfied. She was extremely patient and cheerfully walked thru each aisle multiple times with us as we tried to make a decision. The owner was wonderful as well. I cant recommend this place enough. The exterior (shopping center) was a little less than we expected and we almost didnt stop in. Dont let this fool you. You get first class service!!! 10 stars for Angel!!!

This review is more of a reflection of the so-called braider they have working in the back of their store. Dont go there to get your hair braided. She is unprofessional in both her braiding and her customer service skills. My daughter went there to get her hair braided. The lady tried to do some feed-in braids. She left braid hair sticking out and didnt feed the braids in well. The braiding was a mess. She didnt even bother to trim the hair that she left sticking out from her POOR braiding skills. When my daughter called her back to ask her to correct the problem, she was extremely rude and refused to own up to her POOR work or offer any kind of correction service for her short comings. While Mountain Beauty Supply is a separate entity from her, they allow her to operate out of their store with these poor skills; therefore, she is a reflection of the store. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING TO THIS WOMAN TO BRAID YOUR HAIR! SHE IS TERRIBLE!

Only 5 stars? They deserve more. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable -- everything you want in a beauty store. Really patient with my chatter; thanks for listening, guys! 💋

First off u cant really see the wigs they are way too high. My neck hurt cause I kept looking up at all the time. Second when I finally found a wig that I liked (on eye level in a back room) they didnt have anymore but they was willing to sell me the one that they had on display. The lady said she would give me a discount. The wig was $34 the total was $37 she added the discount $36 what a rip off

The ladies are rude and one tells you one thing while another tells you the opposite so when you make a purchase that they pushed you to make you cant return it. You can be super nice to them and theyret just not nice. Terrible Service (BAD WORKERS), dont go here or else youll be treated like trash.

Poor customer service. The management team has no sense of moral and will cheat you out of your hard earned money if given the opportunity. Its baffling that they would misguide a client for some extra cash.

Customer service is horrible. I just moved to the area and I love to bulk up for different styles and I just cant. They always are in conversation with other employees or just not at all concerned about me being a potential buying customer. Their loss!
