Its not a pleasure to have a repair needed but Doug is fair, reasonable and tells you the truth if you need something or not. Doesnt try to upsale you like dealerships and other car places. My husband will only take his ram here for repairs now!

I have been using Doug as my mechanic for over a decade. Haven’t needed him for the last 5 years but recently had some major engine failure and had to give him a call. Per usual he was very busy but I’d rather wait on him than get the run around somewhere else. I have had my truck repaired and serviced here several times. I am very pleased with the work and the cost. I have worked on my own vehicles for over 30 years and as I have gotten older I no longer want to do it. It has been hard to find an honest repair shop but I feel I have found one here. He doesnt try to add unnecessary work. I took my truck in for servicing and told him my “check engine soon “ light was on. While doing the servicing he said he found a vacuum hose off and fixed it. He didnt charge me for it and it solved the problem. Thats just one example to show his honesty. He has my 2002 Ford F150 running great and I have the confidence to drive it anywhere.

So I was in a real pickle and Doug helped me out. I do a lot of my own maintenance and apparently forgot to plug in a key sensor when I was finishing up a small task.I thought I blew my car up, it wouldn’t run right and I limped it down to Dougs shop. Doug has jokes and immediately made me feel like it was a human to human experience. Not business to customer style.Long story short, they took one look at my engine and noticed my mass airflow sensor was unplugged. Hooked it up and sent me out the door free of charge.This shop will have my business in the future for sure. Thank you Doug and company.

Needed a new tag light. Turns out i needed a whole new housing unit. Went back to shop after part came, took Doug about 15 mins to pop it in and be done!! Also addressed my other concerns that dont even need to be concerns lol. Has my continued business for my truck needs!!

My evaporator core was leaking into the floor board due to a clog in the system on a 2010 Tahoe. Estimate for one repair shop was about the same as Schutter Automotive and the other shop was almost $800 higher. The repair required the removal of the dashboard, which was already cracked, so I wanted to replace it with a new one along with correcting the evaporator core issue. Schutter Automotive allowed me to provide the part from GMC Parts direct which they installed during the repair. During the repair they determined the service recommended from the other shop was not required saving me over $300 on the repair. I would definitely recommend Schutter Automotive due to honestly, punctuality, and quality of work.

I first went to Tire Kingdom for a cracked radiator in which they wanted to charge me 650 dollars. I decided to try Schutter Automotive out and it was the best decision I ever made. Great Prices, Great People, and they got me in out. Do not waste your money on tire kingdom, tires plus and all of those other large Auto shops. This place is amazing plain and simple.

Doug the owner is an outstanding and honest mechanic. I was in Jacksonville on business and my vehicle broke down. Once the tow truck dropped of my vehicle Doug diagnosed my issue within minutes. Very friendly staff.
