Shipman gets the job done right. As a female, I drive all over the southeast. Ruth and her husband know what needs done to keep me and my little construction work truck going. Although I always try to be careful, this little truck can haul some concrete through swamps of Florida or climb some serious Tennessee mountains with ease while pulling a mortar mixer, and I couldnt be prouder. My big goals are in sight, my truck is my tool, Shipment makes it happen, and keeps it going strong. Words can not express my gratitude.

Have taken my Jeep here several times and they are super people. In my dealings with Ruth, Michael, and Keith all have been very professional and the work has been good. They always explain what is going on and why and in the case of my last repair gave me several options to either replace one part or that part plus some surrounding parts that may have been impacted. Honestly, I know when I take my Jeep there I may have to wait a little longer to get it back than some other places because their quality work and fair prices have made them busy and because they take their time to do it right, but I wouldnt take it anywhere else. The way they stand behind their work is great. They fixed my emergency brake almost 2 years ago and it began slipping again and they fixed it for free since they had done prior work on it.

I was having a problem with my car shutting off and sometimes while I was driving it. My uncle recommended this shop and I am so glad he did. After going to several Nissan dealerships to find the problem they could never tell me why the car continue to shut off. I went to another shop and they could not find a problem. I finally took it to this shop and they not only fix the problem they also address other concerns as well. It has been over a year now and my car no longer shuts off. They do an amazing job and all of the staff are very professional and courtesy. I cannot thank them enough for the job they did on my car. I will be a repeat customer.

Do not take your car here not sure who is giving all these high ratings but it cant be customers must be from inside.. I had my car go in for a tune up nothing more nothing less car was fine i get my car back next morning my radiator blows and in addition to the overpriced tuneup they took no responsibility for them doing faulty work causing radiator to blow next day cost me an extra 700 dollars because of faulty work they did not admit to. STAY AWAY STAY FAR FAR AWAY

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!Awful customer service, drove so far to come to this shop only to tell me that my appointment wasnt made, I had waited all week for this appointment after talking to a gentleman on the phone. But the lady at the desk was so rude and refused to even try to help me.She shooed me off and embarrassed me in-front of other customers because “ I don’t see the appointment in our system !”

My tire blew out and GEICO had my car towed here. Turns out it isnt a tire place but they handled it with the greatest poise and level of service, despite the fact that they knew they werent getting any of my money. Both the scheduler and the owner personally apologized for not being able to help me, and guided me in getting me where I needed to go. Next time I need ANYTHING I will ask them first.

Awful service, dropped my car off around 4 on a thursday to have my windshield wiper motor replaced, was assured that the repairs wouldnt take more than an hour and I would be able to come get it the next day, I called around noon that Friday and they said they were behind and that my car would be serviced next and they would call me back with an estimate, I waited over 3 hours and called them again and they told me they still hadnt taken a look at it because of complications encountered by their staff I attempted to call them a 3rd time at around 5 to let them know if i couldnt get an estimate in the next hour I would need to come get my car before they closed for the weekend and they wouldnt even pick up the phone. I drove up there and asked in person if they had a time frame for it to be finished and they said they had no idea, when I asked why there was such a gratuitous delay in the repairs the best response they could give was our guys got tied up so I asked for my keys back and left.In short, the staff was polite enough, but Ive gotten better service from a taco Bell drive through at 2AM

Here is a place in Jacksonville where you can walk in and get an honest answer at what it is going to cost to get your car fixed. They do not pressure you for things that need to be fixed but are fine. The did a detailed inspection on our vehicle and gave us an updated estimate for parts and labor. The work quality and time it took to fix was good and not excessive as I have seen in the past.We had some family come into town from Ohio, about 5 miles from our house their vans front right caliper locked up and were stranded on the side of the road. Called Shipman and got it over to their shop where they were able to fix it right up with a few other little things like an oil change and brake line flush getting it ready to go back 1000 miles up north.Their shop is clean and workers are respectful. I really appreciate the work and effort that Mike and his crew puts in to every job! Thanks guys.

The printout of projected future repairs with the prices was comforting,also. I know if I have a problem,they are a call away and will be glad to answer my questions. This place is AWESOME. I had a broken cv axle, which took less than 2 days to repair, and was about 200$ less expensive than the other shops I had inquired at. They are a family owned business, and the ladies in the front are kind ladies, absolute sweethearts. Its clean and they explain everything in detail and dont talk down to you (my grandfather owns a car shop, but still people act like you think blinker fluid is real). They even have handwritten thank youenvelopes for your receipt. Fantastic service. Highly recommened.

Just AWESOME: I drive a 2006 CTS cadilac and it put me down September 21. I had my car towed to shipman auto on that day. My car was shaking, skipping, smoking and cutting off. My car was not drive-able. Shipman auto had my car ready for pick-up the next day. I needed my electrical coils replaced, break work, and points replaced along with some other tibits the mechanic did to help my car run better.. My car is driving like a BRAND NEW car. I am very pleased. Mike worked on my car.The last part of my experience was a courtesy call from from one of the owners (Ruth) asking how was my car driving. LOVE IT!!! AWESOME customer service.

I was super impressed with this repair facility and with the napa auto care warranty. We are a military family and had the compressor replaced at a napa certified facility in Virginia before moving to Texas. We were in florida visiting family and right before leaving the ac went out again less than a year later. I took it to Shipman auto repair, another napa certified shop and they replaced the compressor quickly and under warranty with no additional cost to me. The new compressor even has a new year warranty starting today. I was skeptical if the warranty would ever benefit us with us moving so much but now Im a believer. Very please. Shipman is also a woman owned and operated business and it shows with their hospitality and cleanliness. If we lived here we would take it here for all our auto repair problems. Thanks, yall.
