It is sad this place is closed. It had good electronics. It has now turned into a clothing store.
I have been shoping with them for a while and have never had a problem with the customer service or delivery. The see if you need help but leave you be and let you look around and take your time and you can go get them when your ready. As for online shipping I have never had a problem, got a busted graphic card once but they took it back and sent another one. Their prices are good and im allowed to shop in peace.
This place is still open....CompUSA just changed their name to TigerDirect. I guess CompUSA / TigerDirect still transitioning. still find some great buys.
Was told 3-5 days to work on my computer. Went in on the evening of the 5th day to find my case sitting on the floor with all my purchased items stacked on top of it. I asked the service rep Michael why it hadnt been worked on and he said you just brought it in yesterday, according to this paperwork. The paperwork wasnt even for my computer but to another computer, which i will assume was sitting somewhere else. Asked for a manager, Justin arrived, found my paperwork under the stack of boxes i had purchased and claimed that they were just about to get to it. When I asked why I hadnt recieved any communication from them regarding the fact that they would be well behind schedule he would only say most of our reps do make calls if they are behind. Very unhappy with the customer service provided by the two above-named individuals and the experience as a whole. I have used CompUSA services in the past with little trouble other than slow service and pushy sales reps.
