I love Orland Park Visionworks and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I don’t have enough words to express my appreciation for Keisha. She is an outstanding employee. She is kind, informative and patient! She has developed a relationship with all four of my kids over the last couple years, paying extra attention to my special needs guy. With Keisha, you come in as a customer and leave as a friend. Truly grateful for her!
Jamie (not sure I spelled her name correctly) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful to say the least! Her customer service was 10/10, especially for being over the phone. Got back to me fast and genuinely cared to help.
White lady at the front desk this evening was rude and conceited when I was late to my appointment. I had no issue and complied with the rescheduling.She wrote me a note for my next appointment and sarcastically ridiculed/treated me like a baby so that I wouldnt be late to the next one.She assured me that they tried to call me multiple times to confirm my appointment and didnt believe me when I said I hadnt received any messages.
I made an appointment at this location after going to the Tinley Park location last year and had a great experience. Dr. Kate did my exam last year and she now worked at a more convenient location. I filled out the insurance coverage forms and returned them the day before my exam. When I showed up and told them my name the woman acted as if I didnt have an appointment. She then reached in a drawer and pulled out forms with my info on them then told me they do not take my insurance! I told her I used the same insurance last year at the other location without a problem. I understand things change but the least they could have done was informed me my insurance wasnt accepted PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL. Waiting until I show up is unacceptable especially when they had my information in advance. Sorry Visionworks, I wont be back!
I’ll start off by saying this location is horrible at answering their phones. I first tried to call in (multiple times) to schedule an appointment for a frame repair, I got no answer. I then decided to make an appointment on their website. I come in for my appointment, the young lady at the front gave off a vibe as if she didn’t want to be bothered. I gave her my information and she gave me a hard time because my frames weren’t one of their brands. (I was under the impression any eyewear place could repair frames.) she took my glasses, then proceeded to hand them off to someone else, who was a thousand times more pleasant, I may add. The other lady who ended up tightening my glasses was sweet.My point being, the face of a business should be welcoming, not off putting. Shout out to the lady who actually repaired my glasses for me, thank you.
This place is a joke. It was absolutely empty. My mother needed a little rubber piece replaced on her glasses that goes on the nose. And they told her she needed an appointment. REALLY. They were just standing around. And she bought her glasses at that location. You lost a customer. THATS OK CAUSE IN FOCUS 19607 S LAGRANGE. FIXED THEM NO QUESTIONS ASKED. NO CHARGE. THANK YOU IN FOCUS.
Came here after having problems with another eye doctor. Great service. Very friendly staff and doctor. AMAZING options for frames. And very impressive techniques to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
I went there with my prescription for my new glasses. I had the impression they didnt want my business.I also had my husband with me for an adjustment to his glasses. She didnt know what she was doing when it came to adjusting his glasses.She was sitting up front and asked me if I found a frame that I liked. I said to her we are taking our business elsewhere. I dont feel like you are interested in doing business with us.
Absolutely amazing. With all that’s going on, they made me feel safe. They ensured temperature checks and hand sanitizer was easily accessible. I had the pleasure of working with Samantha and she was a real treat. I had my 3 year old daughter with me and she was patient, and accommodating. I also had Dr. Welch who was great too. Quick and knowledgeable. Lastly I worked with Keisha who helped me finish. Everyone was friendly and knew exactly what to do and how to help. Thank you and will recommend to anyone.
Great store they were one of the few places where I could still get my prescription filled during the lock down. Even if it was an older prescription. All the doctors seems to have disappeared during the pandemic. It’s pathetic. People rely on doctors and they just disappear when their needed the most.Vision works has definitely shot to the top of my list when it comes to eye care in the LaGrange area.They had gloves masks and everything. As soon as I walked in the door. They were very polite.The brand of contacts they use are also very good quality.

I hope the company actually provides her with some proper PPE. Its sad that she has to wear a garbage bag. You could do better than that Visionworks.

I normally do not do reviews but today I will make an exception in this case. I recently moved to Orland Park, IL and went to Visionworks for contacts and glasses exam. First, the customer service was outstanding from ALL the workers upon arrival. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Christina Welsh. She was so professional and knowledgeable. She was able to recommend a contract prescription that corrected my vision.
All the girls there are so amazing and attentive! They really care and want you to love your glasses. They’re so friendly and patient. Keisha helped my mom purchase her first ever pair of glasses and she made it so easy for my mom and she was so patient. It was a great experience!
Absolutely painful impossible to reach someone on the phone I’ve called more than once and have been routed to a corporate line every time, one employee while 6 people wait in line not being helped at all. I feel bad for this young lady she has no support. I will never be coming back here again once my prescription finally corrected.
I had a great experience at the Visionworks in Orland Park location. Dr.welsh did my exam for glasses and contacts. She was very thorough. I have always been in a monthly contact and I told her that they would bother my eyes after awhile so she recommended a daily contact and I have not gone back to my old brand since then. All of the girls that work here are so sweet and very friendly. They helped me pick out my glasses and they made it a fun experience. It is safe to say that i will go back every year.
These poor employees are understaffed
My mother and I went to VisionWorks on 04/27 and we had a wonderful experience. The two ladies working there were extremely nice! They helped us choose the best glasses for us (they have so many options!) and made sure that we got the best deal for our glasses too. I definitely recommend people to come here because they have the best people working there and they really care about their customers.
This place was wonderful. So any time a place goes above and beyond with their customer service I want to let them know. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Tamara that day. Tamara was absolutely wonderful, professional,patient and took care of everything I needed with ease. I definitely recommend seeing Tamara at the Orland park location, you wont be disappointed.

Dr.Welsh is always patient and thorough and the staff is excellent! I have been going to this location for a few years now and the girls are always super helpful. I’ve never felt so at ease when purchasing glasses until I went here. I took my daughter here for the 1st time to get some glasses. They were having a big sale and it was extremely busy, however, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Jamie was helping someone and told me she would be with me as soon as she was done. This gave my daughter and I the time we needed to find a couple frames that she liked. As soon as Jamie was finished with the lady next to me, she came right over and helped us. She was extremely friendly and willing to explain in detail all of my questions. She was very knowledgeable. We were out of the store with our ordered placed in no time. Very Good experience.
My family and I have been going here for years. Tamara has been around since I can remember and she recently helped me pick out glasses during their BOGO deal a few weeks ago. She has a great eye to find a well fitting frame for your face, she’s very honest and she helped me break down prices between insurance VS non insurance purchasing. I actually have eye insurance and tried to go to other businesses that cover but I still found my best deal and most comfort to be at VisionWorks in Orland. I typically only go to visionworks for the eye exams because their frames are too high. But this experience was different. My sales person, Keisha, was excellent! As well as Dr. Welsh. I couldn’t ask for a better team. Extremely patient with me and my indecisiveness when it came to picking my frames as well as when my son needed to get his first pairs of glasses. She waited to take her lunch just to help me...i mean come on, who does that anymore?! Super excited to pick up our new frames and I’ll definitely be back for more😊
Was recently into this store and the Dr was very kind and professional and the staff was warm and direct with me about which frames best suited me. From start to finish of my visit I never had a better exam - to- eye wear purchase experience. It’s be at least 10 yrs since my vision has been this good. new bi focals that look and feel great. My daughter was in need of a eye exam and had a horrible experience previously at another eye place. The staff accomidated her to make sure her experience was more enjoyable. Service was 0/10 by assistant manager. I have been going this place for many years and never been disappointed like this with assistant manager service. She was racist and was not giving appropriate customer service. When I was trying to ask about prescription size and frame she was not willing to explain at all. She was making it sound like I should know everything before coming in. However for doctor I would say 10/10

I loved this store and employees so much!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was greeted and treated with the upmost respect and kindness. The staff was great, very attentive and willing to listen and helped me find the perfect glasses!! I usually replace my glasses and lenses through visionworks. I got help by Eidth. She was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about what she is doing. Very recommend to go there and work with here. She advised me to get the right supplies and the best option
They open at 11 and I was there at 11:05. All the girls I see them talking and pointing at the door no one came to unlock the door. This shows how much they care about their customers. I will make sure no one goes to this place. I spent 638 dollars for my glasse. They didnt even include the microfiber cleaning cloth, and when I called to tell them it not in my glass case she said stop by and we will see if we have one laying around the store and will give it you for free. Really is that how you guys treat your customers.

Received a call from the front desk stating they could not find my coverage information. Called my insurance to confirm I do have coverage. Called Visionworks back and it seemed that they got the right ID #. My name was spelled wrong thanks to the front desk I dealt with last week. However, I was told the spelling does not better, the ID # does. A different front desk checked my information and stated I do have coverage. The answer to my other questions was I dont know. She never said I am sorry or I apologize for wasting my time. This place hired a bunch of very smart and competent people apparently.

UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESSPros:- Attractive office with nice design layout for the products- The frames are stylish and nicely displayed for both Men & Women- Convenient location: They moved from the mall to there new location on the corner of LaGrange Rd. & 143st.Cons:- Rude staff aside from Dr. Welsh & Jamie Ledesma-Incorrect Rx: lenses. The lenses gave me MIGRANE HEADACHES. They refused to resolve the issue. Instead, they terminated my relationship with their office and instructed me to take my business elsewhere.- Unknowledgeable staff: Dr. Welsh claimed that the refractor was not high quality so instead she did not take responsibility for the incorrect Rx.- Exceedingly poor customer service skills: staff complained about their office equipment i.e. computer issues running slow or inoperable.-Climate in the office was uncomfortable: 75 degrees setting during the hot summer months with temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.-Waiting area was uncomfortable: the seats faced the entrance doors where the bright sun would blind you while your eyes were dilated.-Refund policy: Horrible Corporate refund policy. Horrible examination process where they consistently prescribed me the incorrect lenses. They refused to refund the insurance for the examination which is fraudulent, however, they did provide a refund for the frames and lenses. They also denied me with the cash refund due to corporate policies. You must wait 2-4 weeks for a check to be mailed to your home address.-They would not honor the buy one get one free due to my insurance and would not provide me any other offers.- Scheduling was a hassle. Lakeshia Smith (Retail Supervisor) was unprofessional over the phone. She consistently made rude gestures over the phone regarding the scheduling of patients and would regard you as a customer rather than a patient. She expressed a very condescending tone over the phone.- Invalid Rx: I sent my prescription to another office but the prescription was not signed by Dr. Welsh therefore it was invalid. The new office called their location to send a valid Rx.- I went to another office and they provided me new glasses in 1 visit whereas it was a hassle at Visionworks of Orland Park.
Anfernee was the absolute best I came in with my kids he helped us right threw finding our glasses my kids are really picky but he was able to help them pick out what they needed I really appreciate his dedication. They need more employees like him.

If I could give it a lower score I would. The manager is talking way too much about nothing to everyone. Everyone is on their cell phones. Employees worried about leaving for the day over actually helping customers. The Dr. was kind and she could get no help whatsoever. Its unfortunate. I took my prescription and will go elsewhere to fill it. Never coming here again.

5 stars for the doctor. She is helpful when trying to figure out the problem with my vision. The employees on the other hand are rude and disrespectful. I’ve had to go back a few times to try out different prescriptions and brands and the girl scheduling made it seem like I’m trying to get contacts without paying. Why would you make your customers feel like this.. she said in a condescending way that I have to pay next time. And she told me she can only order them for me and I can’t try out any others. They need new employees without the attitude. Sorry not sorry.

I decided to contact Visionworks customer service to express my frustration and disappointment with this location. I visited this store a few times in the next 2 years. I have no problem with the optometrist, but the supporting staff are rude, poorly trained and unprofessional. I am sure if my staff behave like the employees at this location, they would have been fired a long time ago.

From the first time I walked into their location. They were very rude. I bought a pair of glasses with my insurance and still had to pay almost 200.00. In total they were almost 500.00. They wouldnt honor the by one get one because I had insurance. I dont understand that when they are still getting that much for the glasses. So I broke the arm and go back in and they say they dont insure them for that much and wanted me to run to another store in bolingbrook to pay an additional 89.00 for a whole new frame at a discounted price. I can go to AMERICAS best and pay that at full price and still get a second one free. Also they insure theirs. What a RIP off and to listen how they spoke to other customers while I was there just made my blood pressure rise.

It took 2 times to get my glasses right,the lenses had a defect/blurry spot on them, they sent them off for new lenses and they came back the same way,finally the 3rd trip 45 minutes away each trip they finally got it right,didnt discount anything for their mistake,top it off with poor customer service,bottom line go elsewhere!
