Best community college around hands down.

Been off and on at this place since 2001. Technology is GREAT for those with disabilities.

The bookstore staff were helpful and efficient. A staff member retrieved the book I needed and I was in and out within ten minutes. They had glass barriers in place to help protect their employees and customers during check out. The cashier was helpful and friendly. I wish the books were less expensive, but unfortunately I dont think theres much the college can do about that. I appreciate them trying their best to keep students safe.

Clean location, experienced staff. If you hit a speed bump and you get a staff member that isnt a problem-solver, ask another staff member for help. Some are great and help a ton. And some are less than thrilled to be there.

The Book Store and C Store were great upstairs in the student center but now that they have moved downstairs you cant find anything, there is barely even space to walk, no organization whatsoever just total randomness. Whoever made the decision to move the stores downstairs definitely blew it. Would much rather get my books and supplies online through Amazon than attempt to navigate the corn maze makeshift bookstore that they have set up downstairs. I wish I could give zero stars.

I graduated from here. The new renovations they have done make the college have that almost university feel. The resources there for students is second to none.

My favorite community college in KS.Great location. Good Staff. Lots to learn, right prices, unique entertainment. Book store, coffee shop. Highly accredited for career goals. Your more marketable to get a great job when you graduate from here. I Love this school!!!!

Some things are nose cost-effective at the bookstore. Some things arent. Best to check online ahead of time. The school bookstore website tells you their price and compares it to the process of several major online shopping sites. The school merchandise and are supplies here are also good quality.

Is one of the best places that i got the pleasure to visit supper friendly staff. They dont hesitate on helping you. One day i was having problem finding a book as soon as one of the members saw me struggling he arrived to my rescue to help me find the book that i was looking for. I wish i could give more than five stars this place deserves more.

I go to school here but I might be biased but this place always feel like home. I enjoy the gym and the Library is super big and easy to access.

As the owner of Little River Heat And Air, I have to take continuing education classes. I need a specific duct work calculator for a class I was taking. I tried several HVAC Supply stores, before finding out I could get it at Johnson County community college bookstore.

Do not rent any books from here (if at all possible). $25 late fee per book if returned one day (or beyond) after rental period return date. For a summer rental, their return is within just days of semester end, which Id guess they make $ on the backs of students (like they did on us). Use online book rentals if possible for a much longer return period and better pricing. Staff was rude when we asked for an exception to their policy.

Always someone there to help. Always clean and organized. The only con is they change their hours and dont update the information everywhere it is listed. I called this morning and the automated system says they close at 6. I got here at 5 and they are closed. School is about to start why are you closed!!?

Love this community college. I wish JCCC have 4 years degrees to offer. Convenience location, Safe Campus, excellent instructors, too bad why aren’t they come with the total package.

This place is very fun to be at! It doesnt seem like a library, though, because there are so many games here.

If you need to see administration best to go early in the day or this place can drive you crazy..bookstore is not too bad unless its book buy back time or the day before classes start..which is typical of any school. Financial aid will sometimes tell you different things over the phone..so I suggest face to face convos only unless its a basic question

Ive been a student here for a year and a half and have been pleased with the service and teaching. Great college. Love that I am saving money but getting good teachers.

Even while still in their basement temporary space due to campus renovations the staff were able to get the texts and answer questions about costs well. They said the new bookstore will be open in just over a month from now... Just when things slow down. 📑

This place is a wonderful school! Cant say enough good things about it. Beautiful campus, the teachers have all been awesome and the classes fit for my work schedule. Im glad i chose to be a cavalier

I am an older student. Great staff. Clean organized campus, excellent parking, caring educators. I really enjoy my college experience this time around.

Book I was sold had an invalid access code. I first called and asked for a replacement and was told to come in and they would take care of it for me. I walked into the store, hoping to have my book replaced so I can use the access code to my class, which Im now two weeks into. Instead they scanned the code, and got my information, and assured me they would know something the next day. Here I am, four days later, calling in to ask whats going on, to be told today that the people who handle the access codes wont be in for a week. So warning to others, if you have an access code for your class, you are at the whim of others convenience and work ethics if it doesnt work.First time buying from JCCC, not impressed.

I love going here. It’s big when you compare it to MCC and their online classes are way more enjoyable!

The store has friendly and helpful employees who make navigating around a breeze. Great place to pick up school supplies if youre in a hurry, the items can be a bit pricey however.

Very busy and a bit under staffed for the beginning of the school year. The text book I needed was sold out. The clerk was efficient but a little short. I had to go online to order the text from the bookstore which could have been handled in the store. Still waiting on the text book to arrive. Disappointing experience for an otherwise outstanding school.

Its a College bookstore... I think you know what its for. Unless youre looking like at the school, go to Johnson County Community College. Its affordable, with fairly easy classes, great programs (train, graphic design, Theatre, floral, EMT, nursing, ASK, etc.) Its an all-around amazing school for Community College

Decent, fair prices and options for renting and purchasing textbooks. Prompt delivery before the semester starts if books are ordered by the deadline.

Would highly recommend considering JCCC. I live in Missouri and drive 35 minutes just to go because its so great!

So recently had occurance in the bookstore of my rental book. I called prior and was told rental books had the grace period until Aug 2nd, after theres a late fee. Regardless of HOW I COULDVE GOTTEN IT THERE, whats upsetting is I was told indifferently by someone about the grace period.

With current location thru have while renovations are being done a bit tricky to navigate to however thru l their bookstore has almost any course material you could need & then singe l some. After you find it I would say its very convenient & employed staff are very helpful & friendly.

They didnt have my book, Amazon has cheaper deals on books than them. Overall though they have all you need for school.

They have an old return system or something, went to return a book and since I used my debt card they said it could take up to a week to receive that money back. Which for most college students who need all the money they can get their hands on makes it tough. Would suggest buying with cash because of this until they update their outdated system.

Books are super expensive and they never seem to have the used book you need. Get the book you need from Amazon or convince your professor to use the free libre text online.
