Dr. Gregor always takes her time and I never feeled rushed. She explains things very well. Besides being a great Dr. she is personable as well. I am glad to have her as my Optomatrist.

I have had very poor eye sight all of my life. I started wearing glasses when I was 22 months old. Now I am in my 60tys, so I have been to several optometrists and opthalmologists over the years. Dr. Gregor is by far the best of all the doctors I have seen for eye care. She is extremely knowledgeable and always stays up to date with the latest in eye care. I never feel rushed during my appointments. During an appointment Dr. Gregor makes you feel like you are the only patient there. She has genuine interest and concern for each of her patients. Very disappointed. After years with Dr. Gregor I will be going elsewhere. I concur with the comment made by someone else that I was treated brusquely and like an errant child. My recent eye exam produced 4 Rx for glasses, which I take to Visionworks for glasses. The computer glasses Rx was bifocal and in previous years I always get single vision. I called and asked about the computer glass Rx and a person told me to just take off the bottom numbers. So I had $600 glasses made. Now Gregor tells me the Rx is wrong because of my failure to ask for single vision glass Rx in exam and while their person was wrong in telling me to just take off the bottom numbers, this is my bad. I must come in for another eye exam to get a correct Rx. I will go elsewhere.

After 15 years with this practice, I was treated like a child who needed discipline when I didnt arrive 15 minutes early for my appointment.After being checked in by one staff member who said they were having trouble with insurance, another came out of the office into the lobby and started slapping the back of the hand in her palm and reprimanding me for not taking care of the issue before I arrived for my appointment. I was blindsided. I had no idea there was anything I needed to take care of. After giving my credit card and signing the financial policy stating that I would pay whatever insurance wouldnt, I was informed that my insurance was showing as inactive. This is the beginning of the year and not an uncommon thing to happen based my discussions with other medical professionals. I told them I would have my husband work on it and it would likely be taken care of before the end of the appointment (our insurance is good). They went back into the office, leaving me standing in the lobby. I thought I was waiting my turn for the doctor as they had said twice they were late. The next thing I know Im being told that it is now 10 minutes into my appointment time and Ill have to reschedule. They said texts had been sent about the issue and I should have taken care of it before I arrived.. I showed them the text string from their office and that I had never received anything about my insurance. They said they left voice mail messages, I checked three different phone numbers and found no messages or calls. There was obviously a technology problem with the communication which we have encountered before with this office. (They later sent a screen shot of the message and the name at the top was not even mine, it was an adult child who lives in another state. They claim they didnt send it to that persons number. Im not sure if thats a HIPPA violation or just utter confusion on their part.)I thought I was simply waiting my turn to see the doctor. They were apparently waiting for insurance to clear (even though they had already taken and scanned my card and had my signature of agreement to pay anything insurance didnt), but didnt convey to me that I would not be allowed to see the doctor until they verified the insurance. With new COVID protocols, apparently they send you away after 10 minutes into your appointment time which no one bothered to say in their reprimands. I was on time (my phone shows I texted my arrival prior to my appointment time). I was standing around in the lobby for several minutes after they texted to come in and before anyone came out to help me. If those 10 minutes are so critical, why was I standing in the 3-4 of the important 10 minutes waiting for them? I understand were operating under unusual circumstances. I entered with a pleasant attitude, with my mask, stepped back to maintain social distance out of respect for the staff and had someone working on a solution on my end. They had the ability to collect payment if the insurance issue wasnt resolved immediately. There was no communication that I wouldnt be seen if I wasnt seen in the first 10 minutes. They said I could reschedule if I didnt want to pay, but they already had my payment information so everything should have been fine. I didnt think anything of waiting 10 minutes as Ive waited 10 minutes in their waiting room many times over the years.Unless you want to be attacked and held responsible for things you didnt know about and waste your time, stay away! This is the way they treat patients with 15 years of loyalty to their practice who have given grace for multiple errors on their part over the years. (Such as recording a contact prescription incorrectly so the refills werent right, changing a family members appointment day and time without letting her know of the change--again they claimed a communication problem and that they had left messages--after checking all possible avenues for messages, including email, phones and texts, the family member received nothing.)

Dr. Gregor and her staff are professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. My children and I have been patients for a decade and have always received prompt and appropriate treatment for various concerns. At a recent visit, i was screened for Covid and did not meet any other patients in the office. I highly recommend !!

I have had glasses since kindergarten and my mom took me to Dr. Gregors to get my first pair of glasses. I have had Dr. Gregor as my optometrist ever since, going on almost 20 years. My entire family has gone to her for our optical exams for so many years, I cant even imagine using anyone else. Their staff is always professional and courteous with us, and always try to help us get the best deals we could get, especially when I had to get updated prescriptions so often as a child! Definitely give this place a chance if you are looking for a new eye doctor!

The care by Dr. Gregor and her employees is exemplary. All are kind and helpful and Dr. Gregor goes out of er way to explain all procedures, their results and what they mean to me. The online logins, passwords, and form completions can be an issue but I am sure that will improve with time.

I have known Dr. Gregor for many years and never been to her office. I went in today for my first eye exam in about 25 years to retain glasses as well which I need for driving to see far away. I was a patient of GEC for over 10 years. My husband, 2 kids, and father went to her also. My father wouldn’t go back because he had difficulties with her office, and then my husband had issues with them too. Well now I’ll never go back. I called to ask for additional sample contacts because the ones I ordered through their office were taking a long time to arrive. At first they told me they had a sample pack and then said they were mistaken. I was skeptical and asked them to double check and call me back. Dr. Gregor called me back and WENT OFF on me. She talked AT me, lectured, and berated me while I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. She was extremely rude, condescending, and unprofessional.Also, watch for hidden charges. I have a $10 copay, but they added tests without telling me there would be uncovered charges. I was also charged $45 for a 2 minute follow-up tele-doc call for me to tell Dr. Gregor that I like my contacts. I take responsibility for not asking more questions about the charges, but they never once mentioned that they were adding things that would not be covered.

Theyre staff is great and the doctor is exceptional. They were all so patient with my 7 year old who didnt understand the concept of one of the tests. What should have taken her two minutes to do took so much longer. Their soft spoken words helped calm her fears and made her excited about wearing her new purple leopard print glasses. They are AWESOME!

Just came back from my annual checkup and another terrific experience! Receptionist was friendly and efficient, pre-doctor exam tech was professional and efficient, Dr. Gregor professional and friendly explaining changes in my eye sight as necessary and answering my questions. I am a medical doctor, and choose to see Dr. Gregor when I fly home to visit my parents from Minneapolis, MN. She is so thorough, I know that she keeps up with the latest technology and ways to screen for eye disease. I would give them no stars but that’s not an option. This is a horrible institution and I do not recommend. Luckily I am transferring to Discover Eye Care and hopefully they are better, which shouldn’t be hard. They have sent my contacts to the wrong place multiple times and then made me go to a mailing facility to get them. The workers are rude and incompetent. I have been going to this place for years which is way too long. I’m 90% sure that they made my eyes worse and don’t know how to prescribe the right prescription. Do not go to this company unless you want to be disappointed.

Dr. Gregor was absolutely amazing. I saw her for the first time yesterday after being referred to her by both my parents and the leading Retina specialist in KC. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. I had been having some eye issues and she explained what was going on and gave me several things to help correct the issues. I had also been struggling getting used to wearing progressive lenses, and she determined what the problem was so we can correct that too. Her staff was nice, polite, & experienced. I highly recommend Dr. Gregor!

Recently had my odd-year opthalmic exam at Gregor Eye Care. This is the only medical establishment I visit regularly where the reception staff knows who I am before I check in. That personal attention carries through all parts of my exams.Dr. Gregor is always attentive to not just my exam but also to the myriad of ways she can help maintain my sight. She always reviews my family history, always checks what kind of work I am doing, and provides advice on supplements - all contributors to continued sight.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Dr. Gregor is RUDE!!! I waited 30 minutes until the assistant took me back and right at that time I got a call from my childs daycare and I excused myself and said I had to answer it and that it was my childs daycare. I was on the phone for less than a minute and Dr. Gregor asked me if I was ready to get my exam (while I was one the phone) and she rudely said she had to keep things moving. It was so RUDE!!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Gregor’s for almost 15 years now. She is friendly and so so nice, thorough, efficient, and caring. She does a great job informing me of the best way to care for my eyes and eyewear, and always provides samples, rebates and coupons to help keep costs as low as possible. Her exams are also very thorough, asking great questions to uncover each aspect of my life that can (and does) impact my eyes. And of course Dr Gregor makes sure my eyes stay healthy as I age - using state of art technology. I have an awesome pair of glasses from her office that I get tons of compliments on, and my contacts are the perfect brand/type for my dry eyes. I also have awesome prescription and nonprescription sunglasses from there as well. The office staff is also great, and their text notification system is perfect for my busy lifestyle - communicating with me in the most convenient way. I highly recommend Gregor Eye Care!
