So after visiting some of the more “high end” jewelry stores in the Kansas City area I decided to give Helzberg diamonds a try. Ordering a piece that cost more than some of the vehicles I have owned was a little nerve-racking. 3+ carat diamond in a very custom, hand made setting! The sales person Susanna made me feel comfortable making the purchase, and the store manager Seth went above and beyond to make sure the custom setting was done in a timely manner. There were a couple of hiccups but Seth personally took care of these things, and even drove over two hours round-trip to take care of one of my deadlines. I can be a whiny customer, so I wanted to personally thank him with a stellar customer review! If you’re looking for high-end jewelry in the Kansas City. Never count these guys out. My wife and I couldn’t be more happy.

Spectacular customer service.!!!!! Quickly got in and out to buy a gift. No hassle when I said I wanted to look at another jewelry store. They still held the item I liked until I got back and said I wanted to buy it!

Very personalized experience, good selection. You can get a credit card with no interest and if you spend enough you get money back. Spend a little extra on the lifetime warranty, they can resize and cover you if it gets damaged

Dream ring accomplished with the help of Sharon, Julie & Song. They helped me bring my Pinterest ring to life! A custom ring is no easy task, however the combined product knowledge and long time experience in the jewelry industry these 3 were able to make this ring💍 thing happen!After a tough experience with another jeweler I was hesitant. Sharon helped to calm my anxiety & assure me with her we got this positivity that everything would turn out great. Julie gathered photos & Song assisted with the best size diamond for the custom design. The manager (a nice guy) was hands on during the process and knew the specific details of how the ring was being crafted. He ensured the appropriate tools were being used for the best possible outcome & and of course not to ruin the diamond 😉.

Workers are rude & act/think they are better than you. They laugh at you & make rude comments towards you. They also whisper about other customers while assisting you. Will NOT be visiting this store again.

Ugh. When I came into the store to have my wifes and my rings maintained and cleaned the lady who greeted me asked how she could help - nice, we are off to a great start! When I told her what I needed (as I had my child with me, her expression changed and she summoned another team member to clean the rings. While they were being cleaned I was asked if I wanted to purchase items for Mothers Day. I politely declined and thanked her. Thats when she began to push and tell me I had to buy something today to get the best deals. I told her again I just want the rings cleaned. She then just left and moved on to the next customer and the other lady cleaning the rings didnt talk to me or the other people waiting in line for cleaning. It was as bad as going car shopping. Im going to a different location next time, Ill throw convenience out the window if it means I wont be treated with a hoity-toity and fake-smile attitude.

Love the Oak Park location. Sales people are wonderful. I used to work at a high end Jewelers years ago and they do it right here. Exude customer service, dont talk down to customers. If you are buying jewelry, do your homework beforehand...they add to your knowledge here.

Had to take the same ring back 4 times from losing Small diamonds. Given a $100.00 in store gift card for instore use only on the third time returning. Made an upgrade to a ring with less diamonds but cost almost $300.00 more. Tried to use the gift card to help out but whom ever gave it to us only put 1 cent on it instead of $100.00. Yes one penny. The staff who were friendly apologized and were very nice but we still got shafted again. Do not buy from them. Go to Zales instead. At least thwy wronged their mistake in the past. Feeling frustrated and cheated at Helzbergs.

Friendly people, and if you do business there multiple times, they will recognize you by either your first names or your last name when you walk in! A very nice selection of diamond settings and I believe they also have loose Stones as well.

Had a purchase that didnt pan out as planned. When first buying it, they had treated me (a young 23 years old) like they would if I was going to purchase a $10,000 diamond, with great customer service. Later on down the line, when the purchase didnt make itself useful anymore they modified their return policy (it was non-returnable at that point) and went above and beyond to let me exhange the purchase at-value for 3 watches (above the original price of the first item, and only ended up paying 5 extra dollars ontop of the exchange). Despite my circumstances, they went above and beyond for me with great customer service. Thats how you earn a lifelong customer. That long life customer is me.

I absolutely love my jewelry from Helzberg! However the sales people are very pushy so just be prepared for that. It is their job, so it is understandable, but just be ready...and if you do change your mind, they will do a return without being too difficult, which is great!

Jewelry is typical poor-quality over-priced junk found at shopping malls. If you want excellent quality, then go to Tivol. I took my tennis bracelet to Tivol (which my husband had purchased at Helzberg) to have a few diamonds replaced, which had fallen out. Tivol tried to repair, and did replace the diamonds, but I was told that the metal prongs on that Helzberg bracelet were so brittle, that it was unlikely the diamonds would stay. This was not a cheap bracelet, which is pure junk. Did notify Helzberg, but they dont back up their merchandise.
