I haven’t had the opportunity to get a service done yet because they told me that what the dealership told me I needed, I didn’t need. It’s safe to say that when I do need service, I will return to Greenspring Valley Automotive for their help and will refer them to others!

Rick was so kind. I had made an appointment ahead of time. He welcomed me - did a maintenance check (as that was what I needed) - confirmed that my car was in good working order + recommended to stay on top of the tire wear + tear. I will 100% be going back to him when future service is needed. I appreciated his time + his honesty + his decency.

Great service.. I just took BMW 740li there last week after I took it the BMW dealer for a oil change..they said I needed $8000 of work done. Rick and his team at Greenspring explained everything that needed to get fixed and saved me thousands $$$$. Thanks Rick, Love Brother.

Approximately six months ago I had a repair done by this business that was not completed correctly. I gave them an opportunity to fix it. The seal that surrounds the engine on my BMW X5 had been removed by them for repair and not put back. Later upon picking up my vehicle, I heard rattling and notice the seal was missing. I promptly (same day ) contacted them . I first was told I didnt need the seal, then I was told they broke the seal, either way I had not been informed that it was damaged/missing. The owner seemed agitated that I asked for the seal to be put back or replaced. He took over a week to replace the seal. The seal was replaced and I concluded that the issue was resolved. I subsequently returned for a new repair. I left my vehicle and received a rude phone call.. informing me that because of what happened last time they refuse to work on my vehicle. It was their business that caused the damaged to my vehicle and I allowed them to resolved it. I also was inconvenienced waiting for my seal to be replaced. I find this to be totally unacceptable and un business like. He tried to make me feel as if the issue, he created, was my fault. I would not recommend this business.

I had the displeasure of bringing my Mercedes to this shop after seeing their advertisement of service for foreign cars. I originally thought it was going to be a good alternative to the dealer until I brought my car in for a suspension issue, got an estimate after 2 days paid 1000 all to receive a call 6 days later informing me THEY COULD NOT FIX MY CAR‼️ After arranging the return of my money I WAS CHARGED 250 for NOT FIXING MY CAR‼️Horrible

Called BMW dealership to price an oil change, was told a price in the $90s decided to no longer work with the dealer and find a BMW independent business. This business was not listed under the website Beemers, the BMW dealer referred them to me. I called got a $70 quote and made an appointment. I said to the owner, you should be less than the dealer, right? He said, should be. Well, I got my car back and to my surprise the bill was over $100. I told him that was more than the dealer quoted. He re-worked the bill and came up with $90. I paid and left. I have lived in a country where English was not the primary language and received excellent and courteous service. I have never been cheated so much as a consumer as I have been in my own country. As a BMW owner I knew maintenance would be inflated and was prepared for that, but that doesnt mean I cant look for price comparisons for service.

Great auto shop! Rick was honest with giving his assessment of my BMW! The auto shop was immaculate! Very clean! So clean that you could eat off the floor! My car was fixed right on schedule! I will be returning!

I have been a customer for 2 years and no complains at all! Honest, and very very experienced mechanic/owner who could out score any dealership mechanic on knowledge, quality and fair prices! If you own a BMW or a german car do go out of your way and bring it to Rick. I live in Pa and bring my car here every time i need anything done or just an oil change or any service, alignment, you name it.

I was referred to this shop by a friend. Came with a nail in my tire. Prepared myself for an hour wait or more of the same, as I was told at the Toyota that a tire should be replaced. Rick and his team patched my tire within 10 minutes. The cost was half of what other shops charge. I could not believe how quickly the job was done. The shop itself is very clean, I was very pleased. I plan to return again if I have car problems. Thank you!

Words cant describe the AMAZING customer service that I was given when taking my 2008 BMW 328xi to get service done. The crooks at Northwest BMW gave me an incorrect diagnosis after I precisely told them the symptoms that I was having (long cranking) and told them to test the Fuel Pump, they came back with a diagnostic of the MAF sensor being the problem. Then went to GSVA and spoke with Ricky about my concerns, dropped my car for a diagnostic and what do you know the Fuel Pump was failing. Luckily I still had a warranty on my vehicle which was covered the replacement costs. Ricky and his crew are amazing, and their customer service is something that is truly a rarity in todays society. So i can promise you that your car is in the most utmost honest hands here at Greenspring Valley. After these recent events this is going to be my new home for all my car needs. Thanks again Ricky!!

GVA is a great shop. Ricky was great to deal and very honest. I was referred here after having many terrible experiences at BMW of Towson. Theyre awful crooks. I wont go into detail on the dealership vs. what GVA did and quoted me but it was night and day in both knowledge/skill and price. If you want an honest, knowledgeable service center to take your European auto and get away from crooked dealership service centers this is your place and Ricky is your guy.

Just got a new fuel pump for a 750 IL BMW. The car gave me symptoms of a bad starter, alternator, or battery. Rick was able to diagnose the problem and fix it promptly. Ive always gone to the BMW dealership. Ive found a new home for my 750 IL.

Ive used Northwest and Towson dealerships as well as a number of BMW specialized independent shops. I put the service at Greenspring above them all. Rick is an honest guy who is trying to deliver value. He and Tom have been working on BMWs for a long time and they bring a wealth of experience to your car. I feel that they take care of the car like its their own. they are not just churning the work out for a buck. Very reasonable and very honest. If youve got a german car, you owe it to yourself to give them a try.
