Very happy with my experience here, they have helped me troubleshoot some issues with my vehicle even when I didnt have any service work done and also reccomended me a great location to shop at when I was looking to buy a new vehicle. This is my go to local car service shop. Friendly and personable staff, they break down info about service and issues in a way that works for non-gearheads. If they cant do something, they will tell you flat out. Theyve always had my car out in the estimated time and their rates are better than the other local places Ive used. Highly recommended, and I dont plan on using any other shops while this place continues to operate.

I have gone to Rick and Steve for years. I was lucky enough to find them when I moved to MD 15 years ago and have always been impressed by their work. First, they are highly qualified. Not only have I always brought our familys cars to them, but I have referred all friends as well. I have also had to bring a faulty repair from another facility to them to fix the problem. They are also the definition of professional. They are honest, fair, and always looking to secure a long-term relationship with clients. I have seen them turn down business in the best interest of the customer, tell customers to delay service at the customers financial benefit, and they even offered to drive me home when I brought my car in during a snow storm. These guys are the best.

Looking for a new repair shop is a nightmare. I wouldnt consider myself car savvy. I know how to turn a car off, on and refill the windshield washer fluid. I was grateful a shop referred me to Pleasant Hill for my state inspection. I had a great experience, so I decided to take my car there again when my wheel started to make A LOT of noise. They completed the job quickly and I never felt like they were trying to upsell additional services. Stop looking for a car shop, this is the best place!!

Rick and Steve and their team at Pleasant Hill are that rare bird in the auto repair business: people you can trust. When I bought my last used vehicle, I brought it to Pleasant Hill to have an initial oil change and have it looked over. They could have told me I needed new brakes and I would have accepted that without question. Instead, they let me know the brakes were fine for now, and that they would keep an eye on them and let me know when they needed to be replaced. How many other shops would do that? Very few IMHO. Working with these people gives a feeling of competence and honesty. I highly recommend Pleasant Hill.

Outstanding service by Steve and Rick. They are thorough when inspecting a vehicle and perform great service at a fair price. Unlike many of the chain shops they do not upsell unnecessary services. I have recommended them to family and friends and hear the same comments that I just made.

It’s been a while since I’ve had to come in for repair, but I have nothing but positive things to say about Rick and Steve! I have had bad experiences with other mechanics in the past but I’m so glad I found them. The last time I had work done, Rick even checked up on me about a week or so afterwards just to make sure everything was ok. I appreciate that and will be using them for any future issues.

During the COVID-19 shutdown, I was not using my car. I had forgotten to turn the ignition over for about a 3 week period. When I remembered to do so, the battery was dead. AAA came out and got it started, but I wanted Pleasant Hill to determine if I needed a new battery. They got me in at 7:15 a.m. and I was out the door with a pro-rated new battery (my old one was only 2 years old) not even a half hour later. Tremendous service! And they also wiped down the steering wheel with disinfectant. I have been taking my cars there for several years and I trust them and would recommend them without hesitation!

I was very satisfied with my experience with Pleasant Hill Service Center. I took my car there for the first time to get a second opinion about some work that another shop told me I needed. I spoke with Steve on the phone, who quickly set up an appointment for me. Upon arriving at the shop, Steve was very professional and helpful and reassured fast service. He called back shortly and explained to me that I did not need all of the work that the other shop recommended, which I appreciated very much. He was very honest about what was going on with my car and did a free courtesy check on my vehicle. He did the work that I did need very promptly. I was very satisfied with Pleasant Hill and I would them recommend to anyone who needs any sort of repairs/maintenance on their car.

I don’t normally leave reviews but my experience coming to Pleasant Hill was seriously great. I called an hour before coming over (not a lot of notice especially close to 5pm) asking if they could do a pre purchase inspection for a used car I was checking out that day. You could tell they had a lot on their hands already but Steve was super nice and said come on down, we’ll make time for you and check it out, no problem. He was thorough and communicative about any potential issues with the car and gave his honest opinion of it. Having his seal of approval gave me a lot of peace of mind buying the car. Thanks Steve!

This shop goes above and beyond when it comes to the care and safety of your vehicle. They not only provide quality work but throughly review your vehicle as a standard operating procedure. My vehicle which was in for routine service and they actually were able to notice a problem in advance of it being an issue.Serious issue. Also, noticed a nail in my tire! Great ears and eyes ...now that is the definition of a great mechanic.

I went in Based off the positive reviews. I dont know if it was the way I was dressed or not bit the guy at the desk seriously acted like he dis want my business. I had price quotes that were given to me by another service center and the guy at pleasant said there was no way he could give me a quote. It was something simple. It was like he was trying to say Dont want to do it so thanks wont do business here. I just stop by because of all the positive reviews.

I have to agree with most of what has been written here. I have been dealing with Rick and Steve for almost 15 years and the one major point about their service is their honesty. You simply dont get that with dealership service centers. Got a car problem, take it to these guys and they will get you in and out with an honest price. These guys are top notch!

Rick and Steve have been maintaining my cars since I met Rick in the late 90s and it is a great place for repairs. They both are incredibly helpful, very fair and most importantly honest. Their prices are reasonable and they are very open about what repairs are needed and if they can perform them. They DO NOT make repairs that arent necessary. My vehicles only see the dealer when it is a warranty issue. I highly recommend Pleasant Hill Service Center to keep your vehicles safe and on the road.

I have a 1989 Oldsmobile in fantastic condition, thanks to Steve and Rick at Pleasant Hill Service Center.They are the only ones who have ever serviced this auto. We have been customers of theirs for 30+ years and I can honestly say that I never had to take my car back a second time because the repair wasnt done correctly the first time. They both keep up with the latest bulletins, recalls, etc., which is quite a feat, knowing how many different makes and models there are. Im not one to stick with one place very often (dentist, doctor, stylist, etc) because its not often I come by incredible all around service, but this place is it. They are nice guys. However they are very expensive. Shop around. The sunoco and nick of time automotive are much cheaper. We found d the last few times they didnt do the little things. These guys are great for grandma and grandpop who have money and dont care. However if youre like me where money is an issue. I say shop around.

My car was overheating and Mr. Steve Britton came right out and helped me diagnose the problem, put fluid in the radiator, and get me on my way home on a very rainy day. All as a drop-in, unscheduled visit. Class act and highly recommended. If their quality is half as good as their service and willingness to go out of their way, theyre worth every penny.

HORRIBLE! Made an appointment to get an hour and a half job done. I made the appointment a week in advance. 7am Im up and on time and the guy says he cant look at it this morning. No call in advance so I pretty much wasted my time dealing with these guys. They have been backed up since thanksgiving dont waste your time!
