I came in for a full synthetic oil change today, and as soon as I walked in I had a warm welcoming. During my oil change the representative also gave me a free diagnostic on issues he saw. He was very honest on recommendations to help save me some money also explained every issue in detail. While explaining he also mentioned there two financing programs one with Midas and another 3rd party vendor. After my oil change I brought my wife’s car because there customer service is definitely worth my business. I would recommend anyone to come here.

Got an oil change and they charged me $50! The last time I paid $43 and the time before that I paid $35. Every time I go I get charged more money! I was told my car took 6.2 quarts witch is false, my car always take 5 quarts. I definitely won’t be going back, oh yea and the didn’t honor my coupon witch I got from there website when I requested an appointment.

Today was my third time coming to Midas Owings Mills. Every time has been a great experience. Cheryl is always extremely nice and helpful. Junior was also great, in telling me exactly what I needed, and not trying to push a sale. Overall, the staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. You feel like you are just dropping your car off at your uncles, and know everything will be fixed for a fair price.

Not honest and will try to waist your time. Called and told them exactly what needs to be replaced as I have a list from the dealer. They will lowball you on the phone and will try to tell you that they don’t know as they have to see it. I offered to pull the information using my VIN and they wouldn’t do it. I have spend 2 hours to get driving there, waiting then to look at it and give me the same price as at the dealer? No way! Honest ones will tell you what it will cost based on the VIN. They know what needs to be done and how much time it takes. Crooks will always avoid giving concrete numbers!

I have been going there for over for years and I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else. The entire staff is friendly. The techs are knowledgeable, and they explain everything so anyone will understand. Their prices are great and you wont feel like they are taking advantage of you. Definitely recommend this place to anyone with car issues.

JR was honest and kind. I went to Midas for a replacement exhaust on my vehicle and did not want to pay the original quote for OEM parts, so JR worked with me to have an aftermarket exhaust installed for less. Work was done that day within 2 hours or less!

Went there for a problem with my headlights and an oil change and Junior at the Owings Mills location was a big help and got me out of there in no time. Nice service and affordable prices.

I gave them my car and I had to pay for two things that they broke while it was in their care.I brought my car in for a check up because it was not starting properly. They diagnosed the problem and had a good plan of action (over $800). No issues there.Once they had the car, the mechanic broke a coil on the engine when he was doing a tune up and said it was because it was glued on improperly. Add another $150 to the bill. Unpleasant surprise.I drove my car home and the next day it wouldnt run properly and a bunch of dash lights went on because the serpentine belt that they installed came off and the car started to overheat. They towed my car to the repair shop and said the the tension spring broke. Another $150.Two parts broke while they fixed my car. They gave me a discount on labor and I did not get charged for the tow (rightfully so), but I still find this unacceptable practice for a business that needs to be trustworthy.

On Saturday morning March 4, 2017, I took my car to the Midas shop for a scheduled oil change. The front counter employee was very helpful with my requested service and was friendly and professional. As for the overall customer service, it was efficient and impressive. The technician who performed an oil change on my car was fantastic. He did the service very quickly. It was virtually in and out for me. I am satisfied with the service. I would recommend friends and family to get their vehicles serviced at this location.

I had been putting off some routine maintenance/servicing for months and so when I went into this location for an oil change, fuel injection replacement, and coolant flush I was expecting the worst. It would have been so easy for this team at Midas to take advantage of me but they were nothing but professional and helpful! The cost turned out to be much less than I anticipated and Junior was extremely thorough in explaining the work being done to my car. There were some recommendations but he and the technician were up front about what matters were more pressing and what could wait until future servicing. I wont go anywhere else for future work needed on my vehicle!

I have been coming here for years now and I will not take my car anywhere else. The customer service is A1, I’ve never had a problem with any of my repairs and the woman at the front desk is always pleasant any helpful. I highly recommend this Midas if you are looking to be treated right and get high quality work.

Dan (manager and owner, I believe) was accommodating and friendly both on the phone and in person. Went to get my oil changed, and a few minutes in, he gave me the heres what we need to fix report, but he tactfully suggested I think about it and schedule something in the future when possible. He offered quotes for each of his suggestions and talked me through prioritizing the list. A+ service for a thirty-minute visit. Will definitely be going back for future servicing.

Set a 10am apointment to do an oil change on my Audi, for $49 with coupon (full synthetic). I have done many oil changes for the Audi and also checked with Audi and full synthetic is all that I need. Got to this Midas location, wanted to make sure they will honor the coupon. The lady in the front said it will cost $99 before taxes and fees. I asked why, her response was Audi needs special oil, that is BS, and to my opinion she was trying to make another $$.If I were you I would go somewhere else. There are many shops in the area to do an oil change that are honest.Edit after response from store.Stay away from this location, they are extremely unprofessional. They claim my car take 7 plus quarts of oil which is totally bogus. I think I know my car a little bit better than them and all oil changes that Ive been doing are five quarts or little bit less.Very very unprofessional

These are the best guys in town. They will work with you on pricing and try and get you any discounts as well as search online for parts if they can get it cheaper. Great honest mechanics here and Ive been to most mechanics on Reisterstown road.

I have used this Midas location for over 20 years. The owner, Dan, front receptionist, Cheryl, and the techician team are the best. I never worry that Ill be overcharged or told I need unnecessary work or that the work wont be done correctly. Theyre friendly and reassuring. You cant go wrong with their service.

Jr. Doug, Ilya and the shop (in general) went out of their way to take care of me. I came asking for a tire plug, and was pleasantly surprised (actually flabbergasted) by the AMAZING coffee that was brewed, and a customer bathroom cleaner than my own (eep).After talking with Jr., it was clear the best and safest option was to replace my tires. I thought I needed 4, but Jr. told me I only needed 2..saving me quite the pretty penny.Not only that, but Ilya drove me to a nearby bank so I could get out a few extra dollars to pay for my 2 new affordable tires—-and Jr. was willing to knock off a few dollars to make sure the customers needs were taken care of.I will be back (terminator voice)-Very Happy Customer

The service time was around an hour which was awesome. The front desk clerk was helpful in explaining the service provided and the services needed in the future there was no attempt to upsell or Force additional services that were recommended which I appreciate it Im certain that I may go back

Twice now I have taken my car to another place and been severely over-quoted before I chose Midas for their competitive prices, availability, and customer service. I had my rear brakes and front axles replaced just today in a shorter comparable period of time to other places, and at a staggeringly competitive price to Firestone (I mean, over 50% less).I was helped out at the desk by Steve, who was cordial and transparent. He made sure I knew everything about what I was paying for in terms of parts and labor. And, of course, my mechanic was Dane, who is easily one of the most hardworking and honest auto mechanics Ive dealt with. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, they surely deserve 10.

The staff here is incredibly helpful, honest, and, thankfully, knowledgeable about foreign-made cars. I know little to nothing about cars and the like, but the manager who helped me (Dan? Dave?) walked me through the problem and gave me a very fair price point. I will always come here for repairs in the future

My experience at Midas Owings Mills was excellent. The brake service needed for my car was explained in terms that I clearly understood and appreciated. The customer service provided was exceptional.

I was told by a well known oil lube chain that I needed my brake pads replaced. This recommendation was given while pricing me out for my oil change. With one quick glance they could see I needed my brake pads replaced, quoting an outrageous price. Glad I decided to get a second opinion and brought my car to THIS Midas. After the Owner did a thorough inspection, it was determined my brake situation was more severe than worn brake pads. The rotors were completely rusted and the brake pads were down to nothing. It was explained that even if the pads were replaced, problems would have remained, because the rotors were no good. I got my rotors and brake pads replaced for far less than I would have paid through the local oil lube chain. I am so appreciative the Owner is an HONEST mechanic, running a reputable business to help and protect his customers ahead of his profit.

I honestly had my apprehensions about this location before going in. But after speaking with the manager he assured me I would be taken care of and I was. The prices are not too high AND there are coupons online.I am an ACTUAL customer who had a good experience. Got my starter replaced at a VERY GOOD price. Ask for Stan or the manager.

Phenomenal, fantastic, great communication, patience, kindness and detailed explanation regarding my situation. This couldve easily been a horrible experience for me. First, my car broke down on 95. I was towed 40 miles away to the shop. I live in Loudoun County, Virginia and these guys made it so easy for me to deal with the stress and scariness, of being far from home, and a single female. They gave me every discount possible, they went to the dealership to pick up a special part, they had uber take me to work, and even some tips on how to get reimbursed from the dealer. We were driving our Jeep Grand Cherokee on 695 when our engine started jerking and then finally died as we pulled into Midas. We are out of town, so Stan and Steve were kind enough to get the car fixed by the end of the day. The repair included replacement of 2 coils. However, as we were driving home in the evening, the engine started coughing again, so we got off at the next 695 exit and left the Jeep there. Our son came up from NoVA and took us back home. Next day, Stan agreed to tow the Jeep back to the shop (at their cost) and take another look at the vehicle. Eventually we had to replace all the coils, spark plugs and cam sensor...and they gave us a discount because of the trouble we had the night before. Now the Jeep runs great. The staff at Midas took good care of traveling strangers. Thank you!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Came here for the first time for a simple oil change then 3 days later Engine check light, VSA light, and Hazardous light comes on all at once. Considering my car NEVER had a single issue before I am sure the incompetence of this place was the reason. Just contacted the corporate cause of this issue. Lets see how they handle this situation.

I went to midas to get some work done to my car. A billing problem came up and it took a lot of playing phone tag to get the billing done correctly. Cheryl working with me was absolutley phenominal!! I have not had such excellent customer service in a long time. She was very patient and knew what she was doing. I will definately be back.

Dont go here unless you want to be ripped off! They dont stand behind their work nor does their corporate office, and they overcharge. Youll go back and forth until your 90 day agreement is up and youre out of luck. You likely have to go to small claims court for your money back from DLB, INC Steve Bahk the Owner of this MIDAS.

I went to this Midas recently because my mother goes there and she said that the service has always been good. My check engine light had come on so I took it in to get it fixed because I thought it was a fuel filter, which is a bigger job than I can handle myself with my limited car knowledge. They charged me $42.50 for a car diagnostic which is free almost anywhere else. The code came back 1 bad ignition coil. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $250!!!!! Thank goodness for smartphones, I quickly looked up the part($82) and how to install it(2 bolts, less than 3 minutes) and got the heck out of there before they could rip me off any more. Im in my early 20s and look particularly young, so they probably thought I was easy bait. NEVER EVER, EVER GOING BACK THERE!!!! Id advise anyone to stay far away from here.

I visited Midas at Owings MIlls for Engine check indicator on and I was informed that knock sensor needs to be replaced and it was estimated and fixed for $650 ($300 for knock sensor and $350 for labor) . After fixing the issue, I drove for about 8 miles and car stopped on the road. I had to tow it back to Midas to check and they informed that my car engine was gone and it needs to be replaced. They mentioned that it was just a coincidence and there was no issue with their fix. It was toyota avalon with 137K miles on it. I still, suspect that it was an issue with their fix, as they informed that they had to open engine to install knock sensor and close the engine to fix the original check engine indicator. I am still suspecitng that they had done something wrong when they opened and closed the engine. No need to say. I will never visit this again.

DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFFI came in for an oil change and they talked me into getting a $200 transmission flush I didnt need. I asked them ahead of time if they were going to charge me for labor and they said no. On my bill there was an $80 labor cost.
