The staff here is amazing! I recently came in for an item and was told they didn’t have it in stock. However, later that day the associate called me and said they had the item come in that day and that they would hold it for me.Also, there was another item I wanted that wasn’t in stock, and the associate happily requested the item from another store without me even asking.By far one of the best Gamestops I’ve ever been to!

Ok, so first things first for you people who wish to run a negative review. Please keep in mind, this is a Corporation. The employees are bound by Corp rules, if someone tries to make employees go against Corp rules, it is grounds for Termination.Next;- GameStop does not do any repairs whatsoever for anything. Google your own repairs (or if bought at GameStop and you bought an extended protection then you can swap it out, as long as its within the timeframe of the protection, keep a hold of the receipt for the proof of purchase for the protection. This is a big key factor.)- If you buy New, once you open it you CANNOT return it, it is YOUR property. At most the employees can do, as per Corp rules, is take it in for trade price (WHICH IS SET BY CORPORATE, NOT the employees)- If you buy PRE-OWNED, you have maximum 7 days to get full purchase value back.- Any codes printed on Receipts are NON-REFUNDABLE, the employees tell you that- If a (New) game or system is acting up it is not GameStops fault, they dont make the stuff- If you buy something NEW if you didnt buy the Protection and your purchase acts up then by Corporate Rules the employees CANNOT do anything about it. They already asked you if you wanted the additional protection. Call the system/game creators- If you buy PRE-OWNED and did not accept the protection. You have ONLY MAXIMUM 30 days to swap/exchange it out for the SAME PRODUCT that is malfunctioning- If you bought something +1 year(s) ago and refused the additional protection (max 2 years for systems and headsets) there is absolutely NOTHING the employees can do about your product.- Something isnt working for you, its not the employees fault.- If you receive a receipt then you have to be aware of the REFUND POLICY printed, for our conveniences, at the bottom of our receipts. WE have NO RIGHT to complain about not being informed of something when its printed and given right in to our faces in the form of a receipt- We are given all the knowledge and information the employees can give to us right at checkout. Just actually pay attention, they give warnings and counter measures if you actually pay attention.- The employees are human too, just bound and restricted to more rules and regulations than you due to Corporate Rules, dont get on them, they are making minimum wage to put up with us Customers. Just show attention and competence when they are trying to inform you about something and you will literally be in and out with what you need (if they have it. As of Covid-19 any and all stores [not specifically or limited to GameStops] are having hard time getting things in to help us all out, and even risking THEIR own HEALTH to run a store with people who have Covid coming in and out of their business and corporations, just to pacify us in our cooped up discomfort)- If its busy and you still have questions, while in store, then literally stick around and wait till its not as busy, these people will actually do what they can to help you out with any questions or concerns- GameStop is not a rental store, dont expect much if you cant get your way if you dislike a game. The employees, like stated above, are BOUND by CORPORATE RULES. If they cant do something, then they cant do it. They will tell it to you honestly- If the GameStop location youre at does not have the product you want then they dont have it. The only the the employees can do is either see what is the closest GameStop location that might have the product OR (something we all have access to) Web-In-Store where you go to the GameStop website and look for the item, if its in stock ONLINE then you can purchase it from the comfort of literally wherever you are. SOME items (and sometimes even, sales) are ONLY online purchases.I personally asked the employees some of these questions, thats how I know what they do, the other information came from actually doing research before going in to complain about something.

I walked in very friendly and just asked where I could find the rechargeable batteries. The employee said they were all out. Okay. I asked for gaming headphones. Employee said they were all out. Hard to believe a gaming store has no headphones of any kind and no rechargeable batteries. I’ll be taking my business to Amazon. Thank you.

Would be less than 1 star if possible. Planned on buying 5 preowned games and they didnt have two of them. The young kid charged us for a brand new game without telling us they did not have that one preowned. No offer to call another location or apologize for not having them when boxes are on display. More of the principal but would have spent $36 for 5 preowned games like the sale sign said but with what they had and the way the employee rung it all up the bill was almost $60. Will not go back to this location ever.

No matter who’s working or how many people are in the store, it takes forever to get help or checkout. Literally took an hour to get a pickup order with three people in store because they’re so slow and trying to sell you things. It’s literally painful how slow and unhelpful this store is.

I bought a new Xbox controller the other day and out of the box it had an issue with the right joystick where it would keep putting input even though I let go. I didnt get a warranty but they replaced the controller no questions asked. The employees name was Krista and she was amazing and nice! Thanks Krista for the help!

My husband bought 2 games yesterday, played them and didnt like them so went to return them and the persons response was Brought back Slime Rancher within a 1 day period & you just got these yesterday, you understand this isnt a blockbuster? We dont rent games here, Ill do the return for you without the tax this time... are you sure you dont want something of equal price because this is all store credit you wont receive any money back... its his choice if he wants to return a game he didnt like and he should not have gotten a response like this. We will be going into westminster or Hanover from now on.

This GameStop is super! All the employees I have worked with really love working there and what they do. They are all willing to give advice on game purchases, console recommendations and personal experiences with accessories. I had to exchange out a controller once and the associate I was working with couldnt have made the experience any easier. Honestly every time I go in I have a truly outstanding experience. Poor customer service and use of employee resources. There were 2 employees working. One was on the phone albeit helping a customer and the other spent 15-20 answering questions to someone making a purchase. All while a line grew of people needing to make a simple purchase.

I have to say, after I decided to buy a PS4, going to game stop was easy. The associate helped me pick out games that I would like. And he went out of his way to make sure that I got the best pre-owned set up. I love how knowedgable he was. Awesome job!

I went in there with my gf’s little brother and they recommended a horrible game. First it was single player. The following day I tried to return it they would only credit 13 dollars back. But if I had boughten a used game they would of refunded/credit for 42 dollars. A new game played is a used game. Second, when my gf tried to return it earlier that day they said they would of traded it in for the full price but she did not want to do it at that time because she did not know what game I would want. for some reason when I went in later that day they only would trade the game in for the 13 dollars. This is slimy and gross. When I tried to talk to the manager he ignored me for 15 minutes and then only answered me back with one or two words. Horrible customer service. I tried calling GameStop from a number on their website and have not heard back since. That was a month ago. This will be my last time shopping at GameStop.

Terrible experience visited the Owings Mills store on Reisterstown Rd with my grandson who has his 9th birthday coming soon. As we enter the there were loud shouts coming from the three employees working there take off ur helmet or leave the storeThe helmets were open and our faces could seen we were out motorcycling earlier my grandson panic and was startledWe were looking for his birthday gift that. He wanted to show me such an embarrassing moment and I happen be a veteran I plan to share and possibly boycott this store letting the motorcycle community veterans and my friends to shop elsewhereRev. This is a nice little place to grab some games, although I will say that the prices, if you ask me, are way too much for their selection. I was trying to find some good games for my switch, and everything was well above the prices found online, even used and preowned items. I purchased The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild PREOWNED, and it was $55. If you ask me, thats a bit much considering the owner most likely got $25 for the game and the store pockets the other $30. The original game is $60 anyways, meaning I didnt save much by buying preowned, especially when you add taxes. Next time, Ill probably buy online.

I bought my husband a used PS4 2 years ago the very first day he had a problem so we try to exchange no they wouldnt allow us told us nothing wrong with it it just needs to update so here we are in 2019 with a broke PS4 that never reads games we contacted PlayStation its self who told us the previous owner s had a problem and game stop should of never sold the PS4 unless they ran a diagnostic test first so basically we were screwed smfh

The manager there acts like hes on drugs. The employees act as if customers are a inconvenience and when I try to use a coupon its a hassle every time. There is an employee named Dan who is always helpful. He should be the one running the store.

Ive been a long time shopper at this location for years. What saddens me is I love this store and the associates always help. But..... they never answer their phone. I pre order pop figures that have come out at other local locations and I paid out right for them, they still havent gotten them nor have called me like promised, twice now. When I call they never pick up,no way to leave a voice mail. Im highly disappointed especially when I just dropped almost a grand at your store recently and you cant even call your customers back or find out what is going on. And its sad when the manager who I was promised would call me never did. And it been almost a week.

OK so usually this place finds most the games i ask for, yet I am a 13 year old girl and they act like i am a 2 year old! Talk about disrespect, also I went there this morning to see if they had a couple of expansion packs I wanted for the Sims 3, I walked inside and the guy was on the phone he said one second, so i waited, and waited, and waited and after like seven minutes of him on a personal phone call.
