These folks do superb work, and yesterday they did something exceptionally generous for me--the sort of thing that builds trust and earns long-term loyalty. Terrific, high-output shop. They really know their stuff.

I was visiting Oxford for a doctor’s appointment staying at a local hotel and noticed I had a huge screw in my tire. Gateway Tire was next door so I went next door to get some help to patch the tire. They didn’t hesitate to tell me that don’t have time for me today come back tomorrow. I need to be on the way home tomorrow. What if I wasn’t staying in town and passing through and in real distress. My recommendation, go on down the road to Oxford Tire. The only had three bays and all filled up and two cars waiting but made it a point to get my tire repaired right away and get me back on the road.

These guys are awesome. The quintessential customer experience; they helped me out while traveling and allowed me to make it home that night.

Called gateway yesterday for a quote on Four Trailor tires told the sales man what size he said he had Five instock I ask how much they cost he quoted me $630 I told him I would be there in about an hour. Got to the store walked up to the counter told a sales there who I was and someone had quoted me 4 Trailor tires 630 dallied he looked at me kind of funny an said we don’t have any tires for that price he asked all the sales men there if they had every body said no then I said some one in this Office quoted me 4 tires then one of the sale that previously said he had not quoted the tires spoke up and said he thought I said I was B and B and my price was 800 and something but it didn’t matter they sold the tires to someone else that came in after me I guess that’s there way of treating

Super friendly and super fast! I had to get two tires changed within less than a week of each other, the second time I brought my car in I forgot to bring the rim off the original tire (it had been a long week) I told them I was going to run grab it and they were totally understanding, told me no rush and had the tire changed within 10 minutes of me returning with the rim!

Didn’t have time for my son’s tire to be fixed, so we left it with them. Took them until late the next day to tell us that he needed a new tire. When he came back to pay for it he asked if they could put it back on his car. They said get in line, it will be awhile. Poor customer service!

New to the area, had a coworker to follow me to drop my car off for an oil change @ 9:30am was told it would be ready round lunch time, so I call at at 12:50pm was told it would be ready in a few minutes, so have coworker to take me to get something to eat, get here at 1:50pm and its 2:30pm still oil not changed. Doctor appt at 2:45pmW...still no caril will not ever come back!!!

I went in to inquire about tires for my truck. I walked around looking at the tires on the racks for 15-20 minutes.. No less than 4 employees in the lobby area saw me looking around and exactly 0 made any attempt at all to help me or ask if I needed help but 2 of them could make some popcorn though. Is customer service a thing of the past in 2021 or does it still exist somewhere other than this shop? No need for me to go back.

This the best place for tire service in Oxford. Service is fabulous and prices are reasonable. I recently went for 2 new tires on my van. Was told I still had good tires and would not need to replace them yet. Nice to come across honest people!

My college daughter visited Gateway today because her low tire pressure light was on. They were so nice to her and took care of checking her tires. Makes a mom feel good that there are good honest people out there that will truly help and take care of your child when she is 5 hours from home.

I did a oil change today and on the website they told free tire rotation but they charged $16 from me. And my husband did a oil change couple of months ago and he got a free rotation. I asked from the guy who was on the counter about this but he said it’s only if we get tires from them. They haven’t mentioned anything about that on the coupon. Disappointed. This is my first time here. Second thoughts if I want to go there again 🤨

I was missing a part to get the spare tire off and gateway brought a new tire to me and had me back on the road in no time. Customer service at its finest. Phenominal experience. Living in Austin and having your oldest go to school out of state is a constant level of anxiety. And car trouble only makes that go through the roof. Daughters starter went out on her Jeep, was referred to Elliott at Gateway and anxiety was simmered. V transparent, upfront, responsive, you name it. Cannot recommend enough.

Took my wife’s car in this morning and got 4 new tires and an alignment. The staff there were very professional and had me out of there very quickly.Let me tell you the thing I like the most about this place. They offer a military discount and you get free Tire rotations for the life of the tires(prior or current military status not required). That is a great deal!The vehicle drives so much better now. They have a new customer for life here for sure and I will be buying all my tires from them in the future.

Glad to deal with them for the first time and they were so kind for not charging me fixing the tire!

Plan on spending the whole day there no matter what your getting done. Its good but they are always backed up.

I originally encountered a problem that caused me to loose an hour of my time and question gateway’s customer service. They very quickly remedied the problem and more than made up for their mistake. Next time I would ask that someone physically check their stock before waiting or leaving my vehicle. Otherwise, they do good work and are very pleasant people.

Very nice staff. I needed to 26 inch tires even tho they didnt have them, they was able to order them within the next business day. For a very affordable price I might add.

They do a good job but youre going to be waiting forever because theyre always super busy, even if you get there before they open. Theyre also not very cheap (probably average pricing) and dont do much of a deal if youre getting all four tires replaced (some places do buy 3 get one free or something, not them. I had to ask about it and then they only gave me like $25 off my fourth $100 tire. Customer service could be better.) I started going to a place on North Lamar thats way faster (Brannon Auto-they dont do tires though).

Amazing service and I felt very comfortable even being a young woman by myself. The technician actually turned down some services I asked him to do because he knew it wouldnt fix my problems and instead gave me advice about a recall that I hadnt heard about! Much better than the technicians who try to talk you into massive bills.

We had just sent our freshman daughter off to Ole Miss. Always stressful for the student and parents.She got a flat tire on Friday night. Not knowing the area that well I looked at google reviews. Gateway was recommended. They were able to get her in today(Saturday). They patched the tire and didnt charge her. Thank you very much for the great service. I have been using Gateway for years because their customer service is the best I have ever encountered in any business.Example: I came outside after work one evening and discovered that I had a flat tire. It was 15 minutes until Gateways closing time, but I called anyway. A customer rep came to my office, blew up the tire, and followed me back to Gateway and repaired my tire. The cost was $10. I will never buy tires any place else and recommend them every chance I get!In fact, I will be seeing my Gateway peeps today or tomorrow to get new tires!

Changed for the better.Went to them a few years ago to put on new wheels + tires and they ended up charging more then what they quoted. And the guy tried to keep my old wheels, I had to ask where they were oh, didnt think you wanted them and the pulls them out of his truck bed. Why wouldnt I want the stock wheels on my new truck, they are probably worth $1500.Had a slow leak in my tire last week and was quoted $22 over the phone. Which is fine, seems like what everyone charges in town here, even though where Im from (Nashville) they have places like discounttire that fix those for free. Ended up waiting about 2 hours (didnt mind, I had work to do on my laptop) and they didnt charge me anything.Even overheard some conversations, like the counter worker first telling a lady the budget tires in her size were sold out and they only had premier tires instead of just trying to sell her the premier tires.Not sure what happened with this place. Seems like they flipped the script 180 for the better. You dont see too many upfront people in auto repairs.Then again judging by how busy they are, I think they can be upfront and still make money haha. Well, good for them.Would definitely recommend the place, and would recommend dropping off, they are quite busy.

4 star service. 1 star competitive pricing. Wall-mart saved me over $100 for the tires and I still have free balance and rotation. Will not give quote over phone. Get your local mechanic to install your brakes.

Great work at reasonable prices. Right on Jackson Avenue. Once many years ago I had grass etc stuck between the wheel and tire on my 4x4. They remounted the tire for free. Yes free. Didnt even buy my tires there. I have ever since. Great service.

It was a very long way just to change one tire from a ram to another. But with all due respect and taking all into consideration is a awesome awesome place!! Theres no one in Oxford in the tire business that has customer service quite like gateway. Whether your tires are low of air or have a tax screw or nail in them gateway tire will fix it no problem as long as the tire came from them or they sell and carry that brand! I feel like that is top-notch!!

Super friendly and accommodating. They were very honest with their assessment and even came to pick me up when my car was ready! Would definitely recommend.

I needed new brakes and rotors on my ten year old car. Called Gateway Tire and they gave me the prices for them doing the labor and supplying the parts and just the labor with me supplying the parts. I found the parts on Amazon and two weeks later had them put on (and an oil change) in 4 hours (there were a lot of people ahead of me) for less than they had originally quoted. The price for all the labor and the oil change was half what another repair shop quoted just for the labor. The staff were also very helpful in answering my questions and gave me a call when my car was done - instead of me just showing up at the end of the day like at some other repair shops.

Because they will some time have compassion on me with a flat tire.

I came in only after my regular oil change team noticed I had a nail in my tire. They were somewhat busy, but friendly, told me what the wait was going to be, then took care of us. They even fixed our tire for free, definitely didnt expect that. Well be back for any future needs for sure.

The one in Oxford MS has amazing managers and shop people.

I always get my car serviced here because the staff went out of their way to make things right with me on two separate occasions. They also let you drop off your car and you will receive a text whenever they are finished.

The guy working the counter didnt seem to know much if anything about working on cars/tires. They werent able to service my vehicle, said there was no charge, so I asked if they could leave the vehicle outside and leave the keys in a certain location as I wouldnt be able to get by to pick it up before closing. The person on the phone said theyd take care of it boss. When I went by later to pick it up my vehicle was locked in the shop. This is very frustrating afterarranging a ride to the shop. If you cant leave the keys in a vehicle then just say so.

I needed to catch a flight and my tires were bad enough that I was worried about driving to the airport. I called and Lance got me set up with new tires immediately. I am extremely grateful. I also use them regularly for oil changes and have always been happy with the service.

Absolute worst experience ever. I had a lug nut that had broken off while changing wheels on my truck. So, I did the logical thing and went to a tire repair shop, right? Wrong. Not only could they not fix it, but while they were balancing my front two wheels THEY BROKE THE STUD OFF OF MY WHEEL. Which they were able to fix. So they could fix their screw-up, but not mine? Bogus. They charged me a ridiculous ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTY DOLLARS to fix the problem they created. They said it was cross-threaded and would have broken anyway. Regardless of technicalities, if they could fix one, they could have fixed both. Never working with them again. Ever.

Great customer service.We were in Oxford and the tire light came on our Honda CRV. I took it to Walmart and they referred us to Gateway because the tires required nitrogen. We had no idea who worked on tires in Oxford since we were from Alabama.The counter guy got us to park in front of a bay and told us someone would take a look at it.In just a minute he was there and checked each tire and and decided the light did not indicate a low tire. He reset the trouble light for us. He and everyone there was very courteous to us. I appreciate the great customer service. If my daughter ends up going to the University of Mississippi, I know where I will tell her to go for service.

Tire prices and selection are competitive with places like Discount Tire. The personal service is above and beyond... Only drawback is the location, due to the traffic.

Managed to make a spot for me on a Saturday morning while I was stuck in Oxford in need of a new tire. Price was in line with any other tire place, and they didnt try to upsell me or find some new problem with my vehicle.

Have had this location go out of their way to help me more than once in the past. My fiance went by herself earlier today because a piece of the undercladding was hanging and dragging on the road and the guys fixed it free of charge. Cant say enough good things about them.
