Super nice staff good location barely warm coffee yuck. Other than that I guess coffee is good ask for extra hot?
Coffee got better. Service is sparse at best. No pastries.
Atmosphere is awesome, great location to work. plenty of space outside & inside like others said.coffee however always so meh at this location. ordered cappuccino today and it was barely warm. asked for 3 shots of espresso - barista said it was impossible ( what? ). not a lot of plant milk options. honestly, for that quality of drink this location serves it is overpriced. staff are not welcoming, dont see how you are not able to customize and add one extra espresso shot for a sleepy customer and why is it even a problem to add one extra shot.
I gotta say, the best coffee in area! Well brewed, well roasted, the right notes and the perfect after taste. Both single origins and also blend coffees. The atmosphere is just about right! Both indoor and outdoor. Although you might find a little difficulty finding a power plug, but tables in the middle have plugs underneath on the ground.Lovely staff, good vibe. A good place to work and network.
25 minutes wait time for cappuccino. Ridiculous. At least you should say that before order. Coffee is good.
I loved their affogato back when they served the brown butter ice cream but I think theyve switched to vanilla recently which is not my favorite. Love the venue and coffee still.
My favorite in Palo Alto. No one needs to say twice about how good Blue Bottle is, but this location has it all, the ambiance (the old Varsity Theater building), the friendly and well trained staff, and of course the coffee drinks.
AMAZING LOCATION ! We walked in here trying to figure out what business was inside. After we made it through an open courtyard we came upon Blue Bottle Coffee. A female manager of a workspace rental area adjoining Blue Bottle told us the building used to be a movie theater. We thought it looked beautiful !
Amazing coffee. Place can get loud. You can pay for place to work
My absolute favorite cafe. Ambiance and drinks are immaculate. Perfect for an afternoon getting some work done or just hanging out with a nice cup of coffee.
This blue bottle location is magical and I used to work here almost every day. First for the ambiance, then for the lattes. The baked goods from the Midwife and the Baker are incredible, too.
The personality of the place is unreal! It will feel like you took a trip into another part of the world and the coffee just confirmed what the eyes assume...their genuine expertise in coffee. Maria, the barista who is outside at the mini station close to the sidewalk, is a gem of a person. I thought she was the manager with just how well she owned the space and made everyone feel welcome. Especially right before Christmas, her warmth and personality really put a highlight in my holiday memories moving 3k miles away from family. There are a few angels here ‘n there along our path and she is definitely one of those!
Ive been looking for some more famous bottle coffee than Starbucks.I do not have any bottle coffee in Korea yet, so I was very curious about the taste of latte. Before going to Stanford University, I went to drink a bottle of coffee latte.I could not find the blue bottle sign, I was wandering for a long time and found it.I had difficulty finding a latte and I thought it was just a soft latte.
Food was excellent. Wine choices were very enjoyable.
Waaaaaaaaaaay too slow with just one barista on duty.
I have never loved a specialty Geisha $10 cup of coffee more! This location is in what looks like an old theatre. It has a small espresso bar up front and a larger bar on the inside. You get to walk through a lovely courtyard to get to the bar. The employees were kind and brought my coffee to me. Cheers Blue Bottle! Keep doing what you’re doing!
I mean best coffee in the bay hands down. There are other small shops that are good here and there but on a lager scale you wont find anything better than Blue Bottle. The only thing I would ask them to change is to build more locations so I had one closer lol.
Had a great dinner for my birthday.
Entering from the University Ave side, there’s just a small kiosk set up outside by the street where you can get a quick iced coffee or cold brew, a few pastries. There’s a full store setup inside as well— plenty of shaded seating and great vibe on a sunny afternoon :)Blue bottle doesn’t have free WiFi but you can connect to the nearby Hanahaus Guest
I tried the new orleans style iced coffee with oat milk as the barista recommended and really liked it! social distanced/covid cautious and super cute patio area for chatting or studying/working. highly recommend!
I loveeee their coffee but their baristas kinda suck. The coffee is always delivered tepid even when asked for extra hot. I think they get busy and half @$$ their drinks 🤷🏻♀️. The location at stanford mall does a better job.
Great coffee, great ambience, but why the F does everyone here have a mac book? literally. Its like going to some elitist Apple club for rich millenials. Made me feel a bit weird, being a millennial myself. Also, their coffee is F*ing expensive, hence - 1 star. Great coffee, but Philz coffee is still the best bang for buck and best service
The shakerato from here is really good
I’ve gone here like a billion times. The lattes are consistently good, and the staff at this location rock.
Nice venue for hanging out although a little noisy in the courtyard.
Gorgeous space.
Amazing coffee. Amazingly consistent (like 9.5 out of 10 times). Baristas are so sweet and friendly! It used to be great ambience to hang out pre-corona. Still awesome for takeout now.
Delicious coffee, the cookies and avocado toast are delicious
Very tasty brownies and coffee
Great coffee.. could have been hotter as requested, but still great tasting!👌
Great to havs breakfast
Their affogato is superb
Favorite place for a working brunch. And the coffee is amazing!
I like their coffee/beans... But your drink quality will vary, many barista dont know how to make drinks, IE dont know the difference between a late and cappuccino for example. For the price you pay, youd expect the proper drink.
The place is great and the food is delicious.
Good espresso. Pricey.
I had the cappuccino and liege waffle with seasonal compote and both were excellent. The seating outside has a nice community patio vibe to it. Finding seating inside is hard and is mostly occupied by people on their laptops. More than half of the seating inside is within hanahaus, the paid co-working space. Great coffee and food, just have a lot of patience when trying to find a place to sit and enjoy your coffee.
Delicious as it is expensive. To the dismay of my wallet it is now my goto spot for coffees in the area. Thankfully Blue Bottle has been kind enough to share their recipes online, but I doubt I can make a shakerato as good as the ones here!
My favorite coffee place in downtown Palo Alto, with rare finds like macha and hojicha latte
Great coffee
Really good coffee!
