Tried the croissant with ham and cheese. Despite being a little expensive, it was actually very delicious. Worth checking out!

I think the blueberry danish just not bad, and the outside isn’t flaky~ inside not too sweet. I’m afraid that I will not come to try it again.

I don’t like this place at all. Their cakes taste so so. Service is lousy. And I want to say to the owner, “when your customers are buying a few pieces of bakeries and hot drinks, plz provide them a f’cking tray for Christ’s sake”.

This place is tucked in one of the internal corners within the Stanford shopping centreI rate this highly just because of the energy and efficiency of their staff . The line in a Sunday however long moved with a wonderful efficiency . The place has a small collection of baguettes, sandwiches, soups, salads & pastries. Interestingly their pastry choice beats the other choices twice over. Reasonably priced and tastes good. See the menu and store photos

This place has a lot of people, but they need to get the product fresh, no like old product I get baguettes and almond croissant is like I bite a rock. I told if the have a fresh and gime worse very hard. just next time sell good product fresh For the price.

Busy bakery and confectionary store at the Stanford shopping mall. I got a baguette, and it was wonderful: crunchy without being too hard, with a great buttery taste. I would highly recommend. Theres a ton of sweets that look good too. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had the margarita sandwich and the strawberry shortcake and they were amazingly fresh.

Coffee is ok. The deserts are much better.

Fresh bread loaves are good but pricey

Nice place, the line gets very long on weekends and one must wait for 10-20 minutes. The food is good.

The worst customer service I have ever seen however the food is good. They gave me a wrong order I couldn’t even go back to let them know that they gave wrong order b/c I am scared of their bad attitude.

Staff is friendly. Would say their choices are kind of average with standard taste (nothing really stands out) that meets general expectations of a bakery. Overall the shopping center lacks a good place for dessert.

Line moves very quickly. And the sandwiches and pastries are the best!

Although quite pricey, have to say, their mini cakes and tarts are just phenomenal. Be sure to go early so you get them fresh. And of course there are chronic long lines but its totally worth it.

Stick to Neiman Marcus or your local Susie Cakes. Even in France I doubt you would be unscrupulously charged an extra 55 cents tip for subpar service by a smiling karen. Pastry was decent, however.

The sweets werent great, and the bread was pretty average. Nothing that compelled me to return.

Over price and lousy sandwich. Employee charge $1 tip without asking customer. Make our sandwiches wrong. So much dressings on the sandwich and it was so soggy. Not coming back again. Very disappointed. Mendocino Farms sandwiches are the best and good service.

Only if you dont care about coffee. Macaroons are nothing like they should be.

Ten years later and still the BEST!

Terrible customer service. Ordered a sandwich during their lunch rush. Was offered a receipt, when I declined was told my order number. I waited 20+ minutes inside the small store waiting for the number to be called. When I checked on my order I was told they gave it to someone else and reprimanded me for not taking the receipt. No apology for not calling out the order number they gave me. Ill take my business elsewhere, you should too.

The food here is okay, they have a nice selection of pastries and cakes here. The folks who work here are nice and they also sell bread here too. One note i can give you is, to save your cup and receipt so you can get one free refill on coffee. Overall its a nice place but nothing knocks my socks off here.

Nice coffee and pastry shop in a convenient location pretty much in the center of Stanford Mall. It gets cramped inside easily as its a tiny shop. The food and coffee are pretty good. There is outside seating which is very pleasant. Worth stopping by if you are already in the area.

Try baguette sandwitch

A bit pricey but good selection of pastries and sandwiches. There was a long line during the Christmas holiday break each time I visited. I’m not sure if it’s less busy during other times.

Came here to grab a cheese bread. Now I grab this same bread at the competitor at Hillsdale and the price difference is double here. The bread was OK but not on pat with competition but I guess the price is so much more due to location. Ill pass next time because for $23 I can actually get a real meal.

Had the Black Forrest cake. Pretty good! It was the combination of mousse and cherry cake Id expect. Coffee was better than youd hope for! Definitely skip dessert at the restaurants in the area and come here instead.

Staff is friendly and nice but I feel like it’s pastries used to be better and has gone down hill over the years. Sad but it’s still a good place to hangout after 🛍 maybe coz it’s the only place around that’s convenient.

Perfect buttery croissant with a perfectly dense and chewy core while the surface is delicately browned with optimal crispness.

I have eaten many a cheese croissant here and they were always very tasty. If you are in the mall and need a loaf of bread Id recommend stopping here. I also really enjoyed the many hot chocolates Ive had here.

Expensive but good

Three stars is generous. The staff is fine, but he pastries really aren’t very good, especially for the price. They croissant was distinctly bready instead of flaky and I only took two bites. Not trying to be mean, these are just the same as grocery store pastries though, nothing special at all. For a good croissant, make the trip to Tartine.

I like this place but is really small, hot and un comfortable to whait for your order.Customer service is good as well the food and sweet things.

Great bakery! I live for the months when the fresh strawberry cake is in season. Talk about the most moist cake in town!!

I love their fresh squeezed OJ and selection of Parisian sandwiches and desserts. The sandwiches have just the right ratio of bread, meat, and cheese. Their apple tarts are to die for!!There are ample tables outside where you can enjoy some sweet treats and rest your feet from shopping.

Had their orange juice, croissant and panini. It was absolutely delicious! specially the croissant

We like their dessert and cakes. They look nice and taste great. There are many outdoor seats available right outside of the store.

Great little place. Sandwiches(good size) soup salad quiche(small). Seating in the mall. Desserts are amazing.

This bakery is cute! The food was quite delicious. The baguette is super crispy! Food is a little on the pricey side, but after walking around, you get hungry and dont mind paying the price... I got a lunch combo of corn chowder with a salami baguette for about $13.I had to take off points for the terrible customer service here. I was here with my friend and we were treated quite differently than people who were a different race. As we were waiting for our food, we noticed that the other Asians werent treated very nicely either. The two women that worked there seemed like they hated our job towards us. They were specifically nicer to white people though.In addition, their system of calling out orders is terrible. They just call out what you order (no names, no numbers). While I was there, another person ordered the same thing I did, so I apparently took her order. One of the women who worked there told the other one that it was mine inititally. 2 minutes later (my friend was still waiting for her food) one of them asks me can I see that? Then grabs the bag from me (without saying anything) and gives me another one (again, without saying anything).Because of these two women, I dont know if Ill come back to this location. They pretty much ruined the experience for me.

Cute little bakery at Stanford mall, their hazelnut croissant was amazing, just the right amount of sweet. Would definitely come back to try different items in their menu.

Pastries are awesome though you may be on social security before you get to the front of the line.

Just finished wasting $35 on pathetic excuses for snacks. Everything has been sitting in the fridge for at least 48 hours that all you can taste is fridge stench. Macaroons and pastries are doughy and dense and horrendous tasting instead of being fluffy and light. Too bad a 0 star rating isn’t available.

Cute French Bakery in Stanford Shopping Center. I love all the little cakes and fancy cakes on display in the window. There is always a long line but the food and breads are worth the wait!

Nothing like a toasted baguette to tie you over while wandering Stanfords retail arm. Lounge outside the cafe, weather permitting. Situated at the center of the mall, its a comfortable spot for people watching.

I like their bread and usually buy their sourdoughs and french baguettes. I also sometimes get their olive battard, which I think that it is a little too salty for me, but it has a very strong and pleasant olives taste.

Best baked goods in town. Try chocoloate bread and macarons. Simple sandwich bread is also my favorite. Sandwiches are also very good.

One of the only not-dead places in the centre prior to 10am. Serves early lunch.

Desert and breads are so good but coffee needs improved. It’s not hot and very light with not much of coffee flavor.

This review is for the coffee only. I ordered a cappuccino here (they have a pretty heavy duty espresso machine) and was so shocked with what I got. There was a very small amount of coffee and the small cup was filled to the brim with milk..there wasnt even a hint of coffee flavor in the cup!!

Terrible service! The lady who has green hair works there was soooo rude to me. First of all, she made my order wrong, then she gave me attitude saying:”well, You said ‘yeah’ when i gave you the latte!” I will never go back there again because of her!
