Randy and Matt are terrific. They co-own the shop and are great mechanics, great at explaining anything you don’t understand, and also great at not BSing you into anything you don’t actually need. Prices are more than fair but their customer service is top notch.

Harles will still charge approx a $100 diagnostic fee even after they get the work. If they care about a poor review, they may say its more in depth than Autozone. LIES. They never fixed my problem & when I confronted them, they said your vehicle had multiple codes. It was the same TWO CODES every time my car misfired. I ALSO found out that these THIEVES overcharged for parts and labor. I STILL have the proof. Hope shop reads this tomorrow bc youll be working on my vehicle for a graduation gift for a long time customer of yours.

We live in the area, but took a chance with them. We had a failing water pump that needed replacement.While I forgot to ask them to save the parts to inspect them, they did so anyway and showed me the condition. That was honest of them, and they further explained the problem of the water pump.They also stayed in contact with us to ensure we were informed of any thing that occurred with the repairs.The only problem I had was that it took me around a week to get in, but that is simply an inconvenience on my part.I would certainly continue bringing vehicles here from my positive experience.EDIT: Furthermore, the price was acceptable considering what I had as a price in mind. They also replaced an item that was around the price I had expected it to be with little added on in terms of price. Again, honest and no attempt to gouge, as it appears.Also, posted from my mobile.EDIT 2: About diagnostic fees, I dont remember exactly the price, but if the diagnostic was computer checking, it was above 50 dollars, and if no computer, it was closer to 30. I called them ahead of time to ask. This was a week ago.

I would definitely recommend. Prices are reasonable and they dont try fixing things unless its necessary, unlike Conrads. I made the mistake of taking my last car to a place closer to my Work, and. Learned the hard way. I will be going back to Harles next time for sure.

Its Just my luck to find a great shop close to home. Its difficult these days to get honest & reliable service. These people tell it like it is. If its broken theyll quote to fix it. If its still got life left in it, they suggest to keep on using it...Fair Practices & Great Mechanical Work.I always check out a shop at the end of the day...if its messy...I go elsewhere, If its clean - thats who I let work on my vehicles. Top notch work and service

Called to get a quote on 2011 hyuandai accent. They told me they would have to look at it....??? I smell a diagnostic fee already. Plus you guys have to know a general idea of what you charge for tune-ups....cmon now. I called harbs auto on snow and pearl and he gave me a quote off the bat. I think I found a winner! Plus Harles phone rep kept telling me he dont know nothing.....well put somebody on the phone that can help me then jeesh....good day sir!

Took my vehicle in to find my evap leak so i could get my tags so they smoked my system said the purge valve was bad and there was a small leak above the tank.they said they would replace the valve and the cost for the job would be $312 this included the part .then i would be able to get my tags.well i cant afford that at the moment so i decided to do it myself.they charged me 82 for smoking the system.so that means they were going to charge $220 to replace the valve.I purchased the valve for $50 at the dealership.now they were no tools needed to change this part.it took me a whole 5 mins to change.didnt have to lay on the ground either.it was under the hood.So they were going to charge me $170 FOR a 5 min job.HARLES YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!!!

Im not the type to speak such high praises, but I think they deserve it. But back up a little. I get my oil changed at Monros at Ridge and Brookpark, they say I have brake problems; the invoice says itll cost about 800 to fix. Seems sketchy. So I go to Harles, yes theres a problem, but its caused by rust. They grind the rust off of my brake calipers and lube some pins (not a car guy), but if they tried grinding the rotors, they wouldnt be to spec. Knowledgeable. My final price was about $260. In and out same day because they had the parts on hand, and they do go over exactly what they did - in nice detail - so you understand what they did. Would I recommend? Im going onto Facebook to harass my friends about the place right after this review.I suspect the clown comment might have been about Harlys or Harbs, two nearby auto places.

First off... Quotes only after taking a look... then $600 for rear breaks only on a honda accord. What a joke
