Had a wonderful experience. I had dropped my phone and could not get it to do anything. The salesman took his time to show me all of my upgrade options, clearly explaining the benefits of each. I had my old phone so securely locked down that it was very challenging to get my new phone up and running. The salesman was very patient and did everything he could to get me set up with my new phone.

If you need ANYTHING handled at the pell city location ask for Anthony. You will not be disappointed with his customer service and knowledge of products. This man went above and beyond to take care of my needs. Excellent conversationalist as well. I’m telling you, ask for Anthony. The man does not disappoint.

After dealing with Oxford store, we came to see Anthony at Pell City and the stories are all true. He goes above and beyond for customers and even stayed late to assist with our setup and content transfer. I’m due for an upgrade soon and will definitely be hitting him up. He’s good people and will make sure you’re pleased with your purchase. He should teach a class on salesmanship, Verizon….listen up!!

We wanted to go back to Verizon wireless so we decided to upgrade our phones. Normally not a good experience. Our sales person Anthony, made it an easy and pleasant experience. We are kinda hard to please but he just kept going with his great attitude and strong knowledge of many of the phones and other devices we spoke about. We got a good deal and all the discounts that were available without us having to ask. Anthony ran the setup for our new phones and made sure all our contacts and other files transferred and made sure each of us were happy with our new phones. He even followed up the next day to make sure everything was still good to go. Thanks for making the switching back and upgrading a pleasant experience for a change. Good job pal.

Verizon is a huge crook. My last phone stopped turning on and they wouldnt let me use my insurance to replace or fix it and told me I just had to buy a new phone. Still paying insurance on it and cant replace a cracked screen. Next phone will be Straight Talk service.

I normally dont post reviews; however, after the past two experiences with Anthony and this location have been an absolute delight. We originally purchased our cell phones from the Trussville location and was that a HUGE mistake. We found out that we had been lied to the minute we entered the store. They misquoted our plan pricing along withthe price of the phones.That was a year and a half ago. Fast forward to two weeks ago when we came into this location and met with Anthony. We were ready to terminate our contract and go to TMobile but much to our surprise, he went above and beyond to help us out. He helped lower our bill, fixed a few issues our phones had, and even helped me put on a new screen protector even though we didnt purchase it there.My sister and I are so pleased to be a Verizon customer and thank you for having such helpful employees!

Very poor customer service, walked in the door and 6 men dressed up that worked in stored. Did not address when walked, I said hello when I walked and nobody came over to help me. So I went to help myself. I waited and someone finally came over to help me, I told them what I wanted and they just said, I dont think we carry that.

Great customer service

Visited the store last minute (so sorry guys and girls), was greeted by Joycelin who was super helpful even though it was closing time. I went in to add the new iPad pro and the process itself was relatively smooth until we encountered some issues with my account and the managers in my account. Ms. Joycelin was phenomenal in resolving all my issues and getting everything straightened out. Mr. Clark assisted in picking out a great cover for it, and I am happy to say I left the store an excited customer. Thank you both for all that you have done.

Joy was able to change my rate plan and save me money on my bill every month. I also got a new screen protector, and was able to disconnect two lines. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is always neat and clean.

Anthony Gordy helped fix a couple of problems with my phone and facilitated an adjustment to our contract that saved us $5 / month.

My wife and I have both had Verizon for at least 5 years and have been very satisfied with the service. The main reason that we have been very pleased is because of this store and the employees that work there. We go there very frequently and over the years if we ever had an issue or questions about anything they were very knowledgeable about every product they offer and the aspects of how each particular product works and also in a timely fashion. Without a doubt the best customer service Ive ever seen!! I recommend this store to all of my friends, family and anyone who asks. Thanks for all your services Verizon Pell City!!!!

I know a lot about phones but whenever I get stuck with some kind of technical issue, the people here are able to help. And theyre so nice and professional and Im always satisfied as a Verizon customer. This is the place to come with phone issues.

Very bad experience. Will never do business with them again. I was warned about them but went anyway. A new employee sold me a phone and iPad which I had not planned on buying. I was nervous during this experience and trusted the employee. Bad idea! Didnt realize until I was home and looking at my receipt that I had paid charges on debit card for services not discussed. As I went over charges I was shocked. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am a senior citizen. Trouble understanding things, and I get very nervous over purchases and so forth. Big mistake going there. On top of being miss led, received statement from Verizon for over $150.00. Returned items and expressed I was taken advantage of and charged a lot more than I realized. Family looked at paperwork and said it was not correct. Upon returning today store, manager was rude to me. I wont go into all of it. Got out of deal with me paying over, 300.00. I only had merchandise for 3 days. I was talked down to and treated really bad. Trip to Verizon really ripped me off. This 280 store. I would recommend not doing business with them. They are rude and hateful when you catch on to what they did.

Oh boy did I have a lot of stuff going on when I went in today.... an upgrade, multiple line changes, changes to the account... and to top it off, I had a 4 and 2 year old with me. Teresa was amazing. I can even put into words how easy she made it. She went the extra mile to make sure I got the best deal I possibly could, as well as being extremely patient and went out of her way to make sure my children were entertained. I would not have wanted her job today, but she was one of the most pleasant people Ive ever dealt with. Thank you Teresa for everything you did for me today.

Joycelin was a complete professional and pleasant. She was able to answer all my questions and teach me how to operate my new phone, since it isnt as easy for me to adapt to new technology. I had made an appointment so was able to be assisted right away and was a great experience. The first time I had gone in there a year ago was the complete opposite as no one seemed to want to assist me with a purchase and were just standing around chatting with each other and one guy was actually standing and staring out the window the entire time I was there and didnt move a muscle. I spent quite a bit of money yesterday and would not have done so but Joycelin was so helpful and made sure I had all the accessories I would need/want.

I love cellular sales in general. The reps seem to care more about your overall experience then the corporate locations Ive been to. The best part is my rep put their number in my phone so I have a direct contact for all my Verizon needs. I highly recommend this store. I wish I could give more then 5 stars.

Stacy was so amazing and knowledgeable. My experience was GREAT. She helped me choose a phone that truly suited me. And the tablet she helped me get is just what I needed. I am so glad I got to work with someone who wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchases and service.

Im in this store quite often and have learned that if you want the best service, you only go in on Friday when Mike is working. He is always making his customers laugh no matter how bad of a day were having. He is quick to resolve an issue even if it means going above and beyond. All of my friends and family will only do business with him. Verizon got a good one when they hired him. That store would stay busy if he worked out there more often or if they trained more people like him.

Mike has helped us for years with our account. He always makes ordering new phones and other gadgets stress free. He is very good to keep me updated on new sales and promotions. Mike has always been very personable and is always going out of his way to keep me and my family more than happy with Verizon. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would without any hesitation.

The staff are always helpful and they are very knowledgeable about the updated and new things that come out. Today, I purchased a HUM X and Robert, my sales guy, set everything up for me and made sure that I knew all the features and even showed me how to work everything. Its no surprise that when I go to this particular store, I get amazing customer service! I have been with Verizon for about 8 years now and this store is always pleasant, hassle free, and the service is one in a million! I couldnt ask for any better. My experience was awesome! The sales rep Bryce was awesome as well. He was very knowledgeable and know what he was talking about. The inventory at the store was awesome also. They had everything in store and did not have to wait on anything to be ordered. This was the best experience I have had at any wireless store.

The associate was very pushy about trying to get me to finance a phone when I was very clear it was not my desire to do so. In addition, the prices I was quoted were hundreds of dollars more than the advertised retail price (cash price) on the Verizon Wireless website. I find this unethical. I got the advertised price at another Verizon location.Edit: I did some research and the associate was simply following company policy and the way he was trained, so I have removed his name.

The service at the Pell City Verizon is unparalleled. Everyone is so helpful whether youre upgrading a phone or making changes to your plan. Allison knew exactly what I needed and how to help me when I came in for an upgrade. She offered her expert advice without being pushy or insistent. Its so nice to go into a sales situation and not feel pressured to buy the most expensive device. Allison helped me get just what I needed.

I am a long-term, multi-line customer. I visited this store at 2:00 pm on Saturday, 3/31/18. I had previously purchased a MiFi device & had added a line to our family account. I had been assured that this device would provide a level of internet access that, despite technical assistance from Verizon, it was clearly not going to provide. The woman that helped me at the store was uncaring, unsympathetic, unhelpful, and smug. She had no interest in righting a wrong. She told me to call 611 & have a nice day. I called 611 & was assisted (after a 20-min. hold) by an incredibly caring, sympathetic & helpful man who thought creatively about righting a wrong & was able to take care of our needs at no additional cost to us. It was really frustrating to work with that woman in the Pell City store & really wonderful to work with that man at Verizon reached by dialing 611.

We bought a jet pack from Clark and it’s been the best investment ever. Our internet is lightening fast, it streams live TV, with no buffering and a crystal clear Picture.Clark is an internet genius.He was able to set us up with an affordable plan. He was honest, answered all of our questions and just overall is one of the most helpful people I’ve ever worked with, even days after we left the store.Stop by and see him for all your internet and phone needs.

Verizon along with other cell phone companies are pricing there self out of business . Cell phones are way to expensive this days . The set up service and phone plans are taking advantage of the consumer. Need better price control of Cell companies. We pay tax and fees that are ripping the consumer off. The government is letting the big cell phone companies abuse there fee base and service charges . Unreal the cost to own a cell phone . It,s more than a utility service once affordable by All. It,s is just as bad being addicted to drugs or alcohol. The mind set of these companies is to eliminate land lines and internet.
