Very unprofessional. My elderly mother went out and purchased a pair of $451 glasses that she wanted to transition when she went outside in the sunlight. After paying all that money and picking them up, her very expensive one pair of glasses didn’t transition dark enough. She took them back and explained the problem and her request. She was told by Ken and assistant manager, Ann, they couldn’t do anything else unless she paid more money. So my mother called me upset about the money she spent (from her fixed income) and the rude people she encountered at All About Eyes. So I kindly went out there and spoke with the same people. After much discussion and experimenting to see if the glasses would transition darker, they decided to send the glasses back to see if they could get them darker. They explained it would take 2 weeks and they would call my mother when they come in. Well it has been 4weeks and no call. So, I called today and the person that answered the phone stated they have been in since the 26th of August. She asked if anyone called. I responded No. She asked if my mother number is still….-….. I responded yes. I was asked if it was a landline. I stated yes. Her response oh yes we text people.To wrap this story up, DON’T SPEND YOUR HARD EARN MONEY OR RETIREMENT FUNDS AT ALL ABOUT EYES.

I’m totally happy with my new prescription, and Dr.Meyginnes was so professional. I picked the wrong glasses frame and Alaura helped me to traded the other one. Highly recommendation.

After going to a few of the larger eye care companies who have always tried to find a reason to charge me for unnecessary purchases, I can confidently say that All About Eyes is the greatest eye care place around. It was my first eye appointment in the last 15 years or so and my first time getting glasses. The experience was really helpful and I felt relaxed the whole time with him!Afterwards Addie helped me pick out the perfect glasses and offered helpful suggestions. I tried on 8 pairs or so and didn’t feel at all like an inconvenience. She also helped me understand my insurance coverage with their products. I am not happy with the service and product quality. I just got a new pair of glasses and the lady who attended to me was nice when I was still doing my transaction. When my glasses was ready for pick up, somebody from their office called and left me a message on my voicemail that was already available that day. I went to their office and this lady met me at the parking lot and said nobody was allowed to enter their shop due to covid crisis. This part I understand, but what I didn’t appreciate was her demeanor/posture and the tone of her voice implying that I should not be there in the first place. I told her somebody called me to pickup my glasses that day. She handed me the glasses after I told her that I got a call about it. After handing me the glasses, she didn’t even check if the glasses was okay or not. I called their office the following day and reported that there’s something wrong with the glasses. Same lady got my call in her cold/distant voice and I assume this was the same one who met me at the parking lot and said I had to wait for another day get my eyes adjusted. I agreed but well it’s the same blurry vision after wearing for 2days. I am going to return this pair and I am going to have them replace the lens because this is more than 500 dollars. Ain’t cheap right? Wish me luck and hopefully the owner can train their staff with more cordial/friendly interaction.

Do Not Go Here! I recommend “Peoria Eye Professionals” I was able to get the same contacts and eye appointment for 450$ versus All about eyes who where going to charge me 650$. I saved 200$ by going to Peoria Eye Professionals. I hope you can get the same helpful service I did at “Peoria Eye Professionals”

I’ve had my new glasses for about a month now and they are awesome! My prescription is very accurate and I absolutely love my frames! The girls who helped me were so nice and patient with me through my meticulous process of choosing the perfect frames. I’ll be coming back for some sunglasses in the future. Highly recommend this place!

The process was quick and easy. I went in get an eye exam and order more contact lenses, and ended up spending less than I expected, and even was able to add on a pair of glasses for only $50. Dr. Mayginnes was professional as always and was able to explain how my eyes had changed. The rest of the staff helped me pick out glasses and gave me their own suggestions. I had a great experience at the Peoria location yesterday. Everyone was warm and helpful. I was greeted immediately after entering and given a quick tour to help with my search for new frames. I was impressed with the selection. Unfortunately, I usually purchase Valentino frames and they do not carry them. However, I found plenty of great styles in the designer section. While browsing frames, Tricia and her team members were reviewing my insurance benefits so I would have a better idea of what is covered and what my responsibility would be. They were able to schedule me an appointment same day after my puppy destroyed my frames (which was amazing).My exam went well and the optometrist was thorough and answered all of my questions patiently. After my exam I finalized my decision for new frames by OGI and Coach sunglasses. Tricia was not pushy at all and offered to help me decide which frames looked best and what options I needed. She was patient while I tried on frames several times before deciding. Im expecting my glasses to be ready in about five days and Im happy to update my post at that time.Overall I would highly recommend All About Eyes for their excellent care and selection of frames.

Ive been to many different eyeglass stores over the years. This is by far the best one Their costs with the discounts they offer are better than other stores in the area. Their customer service is top notch. I worked with both Megan and Jess and they were knowledgeable and kind enough to put up with me looking at everything a dozen times and taking forever to decide. Their selection is huge as well I will go here from now on when I need glasses.

We came to the office and weren’t sure if we could be seen with the current physical distancing issues, we were welcomed and taken care of in a very professional manner, wasn’t sure of what to expect because my husband and I may seem at first glance like an odd couple so we don’t always have the best outcomes wherever we venture out together but we were absolutely made to feel like we were important and they were proud to be a part of our care...will absolutely refer them to anyone looking for eye care from here on out!!! Have been going here for years and have been very happy. Staff is always friendly. Place is always clean. However, I am pretty frustrated at this point. My appt was August 27. I was told my glasses would take a week to two weeks. They couldn’t get my daughter and I an appt on the same day so I went ahead and scheduled her at Bard Optical (closer to our home 30 miles away) because her appt wasn’t as urgent as mine. Two weeks goes by; no glasses. I call and I am told there was a glitch in the system and they have to resend for my glasses. They will have them expedited and I should have them in a couple days. Two more weeks later I still have no glasses and am told they should be in next week. So, to date I have been waiting 30 days for my glasses. Meanwhile, my daughter had her appt at Bard, 26 days after my appointment and has already received her glasses in 3 days while I’m still waiting on mine. As a business owner myself, I try to be understanding and graceful. But, at this point, I’m just peeved

🚨Horrible Business🚨So not only did I struggle to schedule an appointment with them over the time span of 3 weeks but they don’t even accommodate people. I was stuck in the ER the night before so I was tired for my early morning appointment. I called and said I would only be 5 Minutes late. They said they wanted me there 15 minutes early for COVID-19 testing and I was informed even if I showed up on time they wouldn’t have seen me because I didn’t show up 15 minutes early. Here’s the worst part. THEY NEVER INFORMED ME TO BE 15 MINUTES EARLY AND I DIDNT EVEN RECEIVE A CONFORMATION CALL THE DAY BEFORE!All about eyes is ran very poorly in my opinion.

My experience while visiting yesterday was more then I bargained for. The staff gave me the time and attention I needed from the moment I walked in. They made it a point to greet me as I entered, give a tour of the place showing you the various glasses you can choose from after I seen doctor. I must say, nice selection, too! Prices seem within a decent range. As for the doctor, patient care is definite priority. A+ in my books. He gave the time needed to explain and answer my questions. I will be coming back yearly for follow ups. Wonderful job, especially to Ann for her time spent with me.

I have been getting my eye exam and glasses at All About Eyes in Peoria for the last two years. I have been to other locations in the area in the past but now will not go anywhere else. I just want to start off with saying the customer service is amazing here! Everyone I have come into contact with who works here is very nice, informative, and genuine. All around positive, real, down to earth atmosphere here. I did not feel as if they were being any certain way to just get my money like many places. I actually felt as though they were working to help me with what worked best for my plan and treating me as an actual human being other than walking money sack. I had Harli help me with my glasses plan and she went out of her way to write everything down and go through everything step by step and explain what all my insurance provided in a way that didnt make me feel stupid. Honestly phenomenal customer service, along with amazing deals...10/10...would recommend...to a friend.

I had been misled about the exam I needed at other eye care shops, but All About Eyes offered the diabetic eye exam I needed. The doctor was competent and explained very clearly in terms I could understand. I saw many 5 stars on Google reviews and went there to get my new pair of glasses, but I fell into the trap. Its extremely expensive place. $480 for a pair of glasses!! Also, they told me I will be fine if I drive after my eyes are dilated and that was the most horrible driving experience of my life. When I was leaving, they asked me to give them 5 stars and I might have a chance to win some gift card! I realised why there are so many 5 stars on Google reviews now. Its just marketing gimmick. Its a TRAP!

Im so happy that I visited All About Eyes in Peoria! This was my first time getting an eye exam and all the staff there was professional, courteous and helpful! Dr. Mayginnes was very thorough and explanatory while conducting my eye exam. Harli and Jessica were extremely attentive from helping me pick out my glasses to handling all of the paperwork. I never felt any pressure to spend more than I should. This is such a great place to visit!

Lexi helped in assisting me about a month ago. Life got chaotic so a review never happened. But as I drove past today I remembered how much I really enjoyed her. Staff like her really make a difference in an establishment, which makes me feel inclined to leave a review. Facility is very clean and well kept. The building looks very well kept inside. The assistants were helpful and nice. Dr. Suarez was able to answer any questions I had, and gave me two options of contacts to try out. They also have great deals on glasses that I used like 2 pairs for $130. Meghan helped me find my two pairs. (Which I will get in 5-7 days, less time than other places.) Overall, everyone was friendly and a great help.

I told her about my needs and she guided me through the process of retrieving my prescription from another optometrist and selecting a frame that not only fit my face but felt comfortable. Ive followed Dr. Mayginnes from several other eye care providers because he is excellent. He patiently explains my unique vision needs and has been very successful in giving me prescriptions that work well. (Ive had many bad experiences with other eye doctors.) The facility was very nice and everyone was friendly and helpful. Jessica was very polite and helpful and did a great job. I was very happy with my experience.

My family of 3 all had to have new glasses about 4 months ago and ever since we have had other issues with lens/frames etc and each time we have still been treated as we were the first visit! We love all about eyes! My son had a nose piece break on his glasses, we have always bought the warranty but apparently it wasnt applied to our last purchase. Jessica said she would honor the warranty price to help us out! We ended up with a brand new pair in less than a week. I am writing this review on behalf of one of my friends that is 67 years old. He was very nervous about getting new glasses and the cost of it. Frank went to a couple of different places first and they had quoted him $800 for an exam, eye glasses and transitional lenses, which were really important to him. He decided to stop and All About Eyes. Lexie (Alexandra Z.) was the Eye Glass Professional that assisted him. He was so excited that she helped him. She assisted him with picking out his frames, listened to what he wanted and made sure he got what he needed. In addition, she even made sure that the glasses were delivered in 3 days because he was in such a need for them. He has asked me to leave a review here because he was so thankful for her assistance. He is so excited about his new glasses and hasnt stopped talking about how nice and helpful Lexie was. I was glad to write this review for him about his experience! Im so glad that someone took care of him, without taking advantage of him because he was older.

The doctor is very good and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - we worked with Ann today and she was great! I always feel so comfortable when Im there and very happy with the services and products! Took my husband there for the first time today and he liked it too!

All About Eyes is a great place to go get glasses. They dont pressure you to pick a pair of glasses or contacts. They are very professional and make you feel welcome and not on inconvenience. Meghan D was very helpful in all my needs and gave some recommendations as well.

I had called a number of places in Peoria trying to find the right spot. Many places didnt accept my insurance or didnt take any vision insurance. Honestly, I was thrilled to find this place. Other so-called discount places charge a lot more for lenses. Ive paid twice as much at other places in the past than I ended up paying here. At All About Eyes, I had an exam that was professional, got prescription lenses and good frames that were cheaper than the other places I had called, and I received a genuine Buy One, Get One free deal-- got a 2nd pair of glasses at no extra cost whatsoever. My glasses arrived as promised, and they fit and look great. Thanks to Harli for all her help with my appointment.

I accidentally declined my vision insurance through work, and my old eye doctor retired, so I was looking for a big box type of eye doctor to see in an attempt to keep things affordable. I expected a hurried process that would reflect the financial savings, but I was quite pleasantly surprised when my exam was thorough, and the doctor himself explained details about my vision that I had never been talked to about. Mayginnes was the doctor I saw, and Meghan and Lexi (Alexandra) helped me with picking out and pricing contact lenses, which both were very nice to work with as well. I recommend this place.

So nice to walk in and be greeted. Customer service is amazing. Ann was so helpful picking out frames that look nice on my husband. I liked the extra help. I would highly recommend this place for all your eye needs.

I had an exam late yesterday afternoon with Dr. Kyle Mayginnes. He was very professional, polite and thorough. He explained things to me very well.Then Harli D took care of the paperwork and glasses part. She is a delightful young lady and very kind. She answered questions and made sure my needs were taken care of before I left.The whole experience was excellent.

Very pleased once again! It had been a few years since I had an eye exam, so I stopped in just to make an appointment. But they asked if I wanted to do it now, I said sure! They had an opening in only 15 minutes. That was awesome! Had my eye exam and contact exam and fitted for contacts, I guess it was only about an hour. Both Jessica and Megan were so helpful and PATIENT when I was having trouble with my FSA SHHHHSTUFF! If you need glasses or contacts go see these ladies they are awesome. Shout out to Dr. Kyle also, explained the Multi-focal contacts to me as I was on the fence about going back to contacts. So glad I did! Keep up the good work, see you in next time! Second experience with the shop - but first experience with their optometrist. Dr. Mayginnes was wonderful; very knowledgeable and thorough. Jessica was a great associate and took the time to help me pick out frames as well as keep me informed of my insurance benefits as I looked at options. I will definitely be back.

I was very impressed. The staff is friendly and the customer service is great. Alexandra helped me. She was courteous and professional. When my glasses arrived, I had an issue with them. I couldnt see clearly. I called and they had me come in immediately. It was nothing they did, but they apologized for the problem, which wasnt their fault. I saw an optometrist again and everything was taken care of. Ill have my new glasses in a few days. I will definitely go back when I need new glasses and I highly recommend them.

I hate going to the eye doctor! I feel so much pressure to pick between sense one or two! So going into my appointment I was already in dread. HOWEVER, Assistant Manager Meghan warmly welcomed me to the store and was quick and efficient with paperwork and the various tests. But the best was yet to come... Dr. Mayginnes was so professional and spent so much time with me making sure I was 100% comfortable! He was very educational and we found out that his daughter and I attended Bradley together years ago! I am really pleased with my new prescription and I got a great deal! I normally never leave reviews, but I definitely felt compelled to. I felt very welcomed by the staff, was offered coffee or water. They even looked up my insurance so I didn’t have to bring my card. The doctor was the best eye doctor I’ve ever seen, spent the time with me explaining my eyes and didn’t rush the appointment! I will continue to go here for my eye care!

It was easy to get an appointment. Meghan waited on us and was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Suarez was also very friendly and personable. We were in and out in less than an hour. Prices are reasonable without insurance. I recommend using this business.
