I found doctor Fitch to be one of the best practitioners in the area in dealing with difficult prescriptions. Hes thorough, knowledgeable and understanding of the patients needs and how to address them.

Vision Care Center was excellent. My appointment was on time and the service by everyone there was courteous and professional. Dr. Fitch was great. Usually go to the Washington location but could get a quicker appointment here. Highly recommend!

I have worn glasses since the 5th grade and contacts since being a freshman in HS, so Ive had my experiences with Optometry Facilities. I made the switch to Vision Care Center last month and had the dubious distinction of being the first new patient at the new location. Wonderful facility, very welcoming staff. The equipment is top-notch and Dr. Cundiff is a pro. Full explanations on everything going on with my eyes. Ill be a customer for life now!

I would not recommend Vision Care Center to anyone and will not ever go there again, I was diagnosed with a retinal tear. Dr. Fitch was very vague about what should be done. After having more photos of my eye months later he still did not make a decision as to what course of action to take. I contacted a famous and well known eye clinic on my own and had a complete eye exam. Two weeks later I had procedure preformed by a retinal specialist to correct this tear. The Doctors at this clinic could not believe I was not referred to a retinal specialist immediately after this tear was discovered. Left untreated retinal tears can lead to loss of vision.

I write this very honestly and very truthful that this place is definitely the place to go when it comes to caring and being concerned about your vision. Yesterday was my first time ever going to this place and let me tell you, one visit was all it took for me. From the moment I walked into the office, from the moment I walked out of the office I was truly content with everything. The staff and I mean everyone working there, was all very nice, helpful, and super attentive with me! My eye exam was done very professional and I was super pleased. A staff member named Carol started me off and she was so nice and caring! I really appreciated her big time! Dr. Ronald J. Suarez did my eye exam and he is top class! I mean he knows so much and I’ve never had an eye doctor in my past like him. He was super nice, and I could tell you cared for my eyes. Very professional and I’m thankful for his great work on my eyes. Lastly I worked with Molly, and she was incredibly nice and very patient. She helped me with picking out glasses. She and everyone else working there truly did an excellent job with me. I was very impressed and felt I was very taken good care of. The whole environment there was very professional and super friendly. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!! You will leave very satisfied!!!!

My first visit with Dr. Cundiff was wonderful and the staff are amazing as well. He was very thorough in his testing and took the time to explain each part as it related to my (rather complicated) vision history. He even recommended a book and TED talk based on what I have experienced. His kindness and understanding brought me to tears. Since having complex eye surgery as a child, I haven’t found a doctor with such compassion and expertise. I was excited to learn that vision therapy is also offered at their office and hope to start that soon. I highly recommend Dr. Cundiff to anyone. He was so gentle and sweet with my (very shy) daughter as well. He’s a true gem in Central Illinois!

Dr. Cundiff is always very thorough and is great at explaining the many parts of the eye exam (both the what and the why).The reception and billing staff is friendly and helpful, as is the optician staff.If you are looking for an eye doctor, I would highly recommend making an appointment.

Ive always had good experiences at Vision Care Center, but this past weekend was exceptional. I had been having some issues with my vision so I called on Saturday am. They were able to get me in that same morning. Several tests were performed and Dr. Cundiff examined my eyes. He then gave me a very thorough explanation of what was going on with my eyes. I would highly recommend Vision Care Center.

Dr. Fitch is great! Also the office staff puts up with me when I’m frustrated my contacts are always on back order. 😂 I’ve always wanted daily contacts and this is the first time a provider has researched what would work for me. I am so grateful to have found a wonderful eye doc and practice!

I am so thankful that Dr Fitch is concerned about total eye health. At a time when you can go to places for an exam and cheap glasses, many do a remote auto refraction and give you a script for glasses. Dr. Fitch took pictures of my eyes and discovered I have a condition that is a precurser to macular degeneration. We are able to be proactive now and slow down the progression or maybe even reverse it.

His dedication to the craft is above and beyond, especially as he takes difficult to understand medical jargon and puts it into the simplest of laymans terms. Dr. Fitch and his nurse were WONDERFUL! I left feeling so positive about what the new prism lenses will do for me!! They were VERY thorough and I felt like they listened.

The staff is friendly enough. My problem is they never answer the phone. Having problems with billing that they dont seem to want to address with me. Asked someone from billing to return my call, when I finally got thru, and never heard back. Will be looking for another eye care center that has the time to take care of their patients correctly.

He is not only concerned with my eyes but also with my well being, and gave me some good advice on a back problem I am having. The staff was very friendly and also an asset to the business. I couldn’t be happier with my experiences thus far. I saw Dr Cundiff last year for my own eye issues. He was very thorough and kind. Today, we saw him for my son’s first ever visit for Kindergarten. My son can be a little sensitive to things. But Kevin and Dr. Cundiff were awesome with him. The way they did the exam, my son thought they were just playing games and telling them about letters and pictures the whole time... And he got to watch a cartoon for part of it. They even listened to his stories, lol. I came in apprehensive about how my son would do. I left elated.

I love their service, but no body ever answer the phone. I hope they could update their phone number to one that can be answered by a real person.After I tried this number 6 times in 3 hours, a lady finally answered, so I change my review to 4 stars.
