Today I experienced blatant disrespect at this establishment. The “store leader”, Sleepy and one of the employees that work under him tried to deny my boyfriend and I the opportunity to purchase a PlayStation 5 after waiting hours. I know when you wait in these lines they’re never promised. In this case we were already told that there was enough for both of us to purchase one individually along with someone else waiting behind us. There was another woman waiting behind us that was told that they were sold out and that she would not be able to purchase one. She then asked me how much would I sell mine for. I told her I would sell her my system for $850. The employee didn’t like the fact that I marked up the price and told the “store leader” Sleepy not to sell us the PlayStations because we were “scalpers”. What he said exactly was, “ I’m not selling you two the PlayStations. I’m not gonna let you two scalpers do this in front of MY store.” I immediately felt disrespected because the woman had asked me how much would I sell my system to her for. I didn’t advertise my system to her. Also the fact that my boyfriend had nothing to do with that interaction and was denied as well. This is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable from a “store leader” .

Anyone that loads games needs to go to GameStop the best guys Ive ever met ask for advice and there was no problem then you exactly where to go or what to say good job guys

Very empty, never has anything good

We called this location by chance looking for replacement controllers for the Xbox One X...Because, Microsoft doesnt care about their years long drifting issues. My son really wanted a particular controller and according to the website, the only store that had it was Broadway NYC. We decided to head that way. We were pushing it to closing time so on our drive we literally called every store in NJ and Staten Island to see if anyone had it. Perth Amboy was literally my last call before getting off the Parkway to the Turnpike. Frank said they didnt have it used, but new. We ended up turning around on the Turnpike and Frank was awesome enough to wait..since now we would end up at his store a few minutes passed close. When we got there, his service and the other associate were great! Franks product knowledge of other platforms and games was incredible. The other associate and Frank knew a ton about games age appropriate to our child. I cannot convey how grateful we were for these guys. Honestly, I am not sure how GameStop hasnt recognized his skills and put him in an upper management position to train other associates in the region. Thanks again!

Place is ok plenty of times they didnt have what I wanted just the display box place could look a little neater but its better then not having a local game store

Its a good place to get games and the staff is helpful though the store could get more older ps vita titles, thankfully I think the staff would be up for that.

Came here a couple months ago, great store. The employee in the store at the time was very polite.

Yeah I buy my games from this store all the time, the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable about majority of the kind of games I purchase. I love this store in particular because of the diversity and the customer service is great.

Had a very negative experience with one of the associates. This location was not knowledgeable of any of the promotions and failed to give me the usual positive experience Ive had at other locations. Youre better off going to another location, such as the gamestop in Edison off route 1 to get better service and a better, friendly and knowledgeable employee.

Great place to browse games, and friendly staff. Trading card section is a bit limited. The apparel and clearance section was nicely organized, which was great to see.

Ridiculous... Talkative cashier that was too busy chatting with an off the clock employee, loitering.We waited 20 minutes and got an earful of how shorthanded she was. And how she could not finish her assigned tasks. Were we, the customers, an interruption? We went in to pick up 2 games and get out quick but had to endure the unsolicited dialog between the two. Not coming back thats for sure!

They dont constantly bother you. They speak when spoken to. Sales tax is only only 3.5

Gamestop is Gamestop. The employees dont make the prices, so you cant really complain to them about that. This particular one is very helpful and they dont harass people like other stores do. Its usually in and out for me unless Im in a convo with one of the employees.

Went there to just ask questions before I bought things and they had no time for me.. then when they found time for me they lied about pretty much everything..lol if I was younger I would of punch the dude in the face, but we all have to grow up at sum point..and to top it off I was the ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE!! As Chris Carter would say COME ON MAN!!..

Bought a game for full price, I go to return it same day within a couple hours... I can’t return it because I bought it new and I didn’t ask for a “used” copy but yet I was able to return a new copy of ufc 3 in that same store months ago, staff is friendly but the policies are horrendous

Describe your experience at this store,Well first off here on this journey to GameStop. I was super stoked to get nhl 14 for xbox 360. I traded a bunch of games to get and everything. So i get the game and bring it back home only to come upon a giant ring on the disc. The xbox could not even recognize the disc. So i bring it back only to then come up that it was their last copy. So then they said they could not do anything and gave me 10 bucks for the games i traded and a bunch of nickles. Some how ended up losing about 5 - 10 $ .
